Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Some things in life are worth repeating.
Father in heaven, I come before you in the Mighty name of Jesus because I have been invited to come boldly before your throne of grace to find mercy and grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). I resist the oppression that has come against me and my house and lift up a shout of praise (Psalm 100:1). I glorify you and your majesty and declare that there is no one like you. The name of Jesus is the name above every name, at whose name every knee must bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth (Philippians 2:10). I declare that all evil agents must bow the knee at the mention of His name.
I release chariots of God (Isaiah 66:15) into the midst of enemy encampments and fronts mounted against my life, family, business, and calling in the name of Jesus. I declare that the forces of darkness must be cut down. I smite evil agents with madness, blindness, and confusion of heart (Deuteronomy 28:28). I declare that evil forces will loathe the day they receive assignments against me, for I choose to stand in my identity as a child of the Most High God. May the broom of destruction (Isaiah 14:23) sweep up all of the defilement that the enemy has planted against my life, including his agents and constructs.
I arm the hosts of heaven (Psalm 59:5) with light-based weaponry that hyper-focuses the light of Jesus (John 1:4-5) upon their targets. Go and punish the hosts of evil. I speak that the breath of God (Isaiah 11:4) strikes the enemy coming in and going out. I declare that evil spirits that are apprehended are force-fed the bread of adversity and the waters of affliction (Isaiah 30:20). I declare that they are smitten with boils (Exodus 9:9-11) and they are pierced through with daggers (Judges 3:16).
I speak that there will remain no safe place for the enemies that take up arms against me. The pursuers will become the pursued as the vengeance of God is engaged on my behalf (Deuteronomy 32:35). I speak that my testimony of injustice is beheld in the courts of heaven and becomes the evidence that unleashes the wrath of God (Psalm 59:13) upon his enemies that destroy my life and the lives of those he loves. At his wrath the earth will tremble, and the nations will not be able to endure his indignation (Jeremiah 10:10).
I declare that all of the areas of my life that are under attack are being re-tuned and harmonized to the frequency of the voice of the Most High God (Psalm 18:13), down to the very genetics that compose my person. I receive winds of refreshing and condemn the evil powers that mount themselves against me to the burning wind (Psalm 11:6). I declare that all of their paths, rivers, highways, wormholes, portals and stargates, are rigged with snares, tripwires, and booby traps that are linked to devastating glory bombs. I speak that your angels surround me round about, above and below, and against every dimensional access point in Jesus name (Psalm 91:11). I thank you for the power of the blood of Jesus (Revelation 12:11), by which I cover every component of my life, family, business, ministry, and destiny. Amen

Can The Law Save?
By Pastor Cornelius R. Stam
This writer does not wear clerical garb, but somehow when he visits a church away from home, someone is apt to step up to him and ask: “Are you by any chance a minister?”
Acts 13 tells how this once happened to Paul and Barnabas. They had entered a synagogue as strangers and simply sat down to listen. After “the reading of the law and the prophets,” however, the leaders of the service sent someone to ask them: “Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on” (Verses 14 and 15). Somehow Paul and Barnabas had been recognized as men of God.
The custom at that time was to read a passage from the Law and then some passages in which the prophets urged the people to observe the Law. This was followed by an exhortation by one or more of the religious leaders present.
Well, Paul did have a word of exhortation for the people, but it would be somewhat of a surprise. Getting to the point of his message, he preached to them Christ and the resurrection, and closed his talk with the words: “Be it known unto you, therefore, men and brethren, that through this Man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses”(Verses 38 and 39).
This was the gist of his “exhortation”: Don’t trust in the Law for salvation — trust in Christ, who fulfilled the Law and died for your sins. This makes sense, and it agrees with the Bible as a whole. “By the Law is the knowledge of sin” (Rom. 3:20): “it was added because of transgressions” (Gal.3:19): “for as many as are of the works of the Law are under the curse” (Gal.3:10); but “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us” (Gal.3:13). “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the Law” (Rom. 3:28).
It should be obvious that the Law can only condemn sinners, but it is also a fact that Christ died for sinners, to save them from the condemnation of the Law. “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Rom. 5:1).

Acts 13:13 Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.
14 But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.
Acts 13:38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Galatians 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

When O said play it “by the book” too bad he didn’t pass down his “book” to we, the USA,
the silent (moral) majority.
O’s manifesto, we are now learning, will, no doubt, be mandatory learning for all incoming law students, How to Indict a Ham Sandwich 101 (sorry, LTG Flynn), and the next mandatory course – given by Oprah – the 1619 Project, On How our Country’s foundation began as a result of slavery and racism.
We only know from our books and rules – the Constitution, the 10 Commandments – church bibles and rules of sports. Fascinating – Have you noticed how our favorite books and rules – pastimes – are socially forbidden. Next, – get rid of our police and our government/judges. It doesn’t matter who wins this next election – that’s why they have a “nobody” running against our Prez. They have him – all the way up to the Supreme Court.
What we didn’t know – the swamp was all quicksand, and like Hotel California, you can never escape – the evil. Has anyone suggested exorcism?
Mueller with his – 2 year, no outcome/outcome and we had to pick up the Barr tab of $40 mil – and now, the Barr/ Durham – Lego silo game –overseen by an FBI agent who can’t seem to connect all the Lego pieces.
Why do we think – These folks see it all as a game, using their rules – and are taking no prisoners – interesting how they will not arrest the killers. Wonderful masterminds – are snookering us all!

THE SACRAMENT OF SACRIFICE
“He that believeth in Me…out of him shall flow…” John vii. 38
Jesus did not say – “he that believeth in Me shall realize the blessing of the fulness of God,” but – “He that believeth in Me out of him shall escape everything he receives.” Our Lord’s teaching is always ANTI-self-realization. His purpose is not the development of a man; His purpose is to make a man exactly like Himself, and the characteristic of the Son of God is self-expenditure. If we believe in Jesus, it is not what we gain, but what He pours through us that counts. It is not that God makes us beautifully rounded grapes, but that He squeezes the sweetness out of us. Spiritually, we cannot measure our life by success, but only by what God pours through us, and we cannot measure that at all.
When Mary of Bethany broke the box of precious ointment and poured it on Jesus’ head, it was an act for which no one else saw any occasion; the disciples said it was a waste. But Jesus commended Mary for her extravagant act of devotion, and said that wherever His gospel was preached “this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.” Our Lord is carried beyond Himself with joy when He sees any of us doing what Mary did, not being set on this or that economy, but being abandoned to Him. God spilt the life of His Son that the world might be saved; are we prepared to spill out our lives for Him?
“He that believeth in Me out of him shall flow rivers of living water” – hundreds of other lives will be continually refreshed. It is time now to break the life, to cease craving for satisfaction, and to spill the thing out. Our Lord is asking who of us will do it for Him?

I’m just doing a little brainstorming with some average numbers I received off the NBA website.
I’m going to do quick math to reach a conclusion; I’m not spending a lot of time on it. This is only a rough estimate. I think bottom line is the message I’d like to leave. As we all know, “there are Trillions at stake.” Well let’s see.
Here it is: Average Yearly Salary of an NBA player :$7,000,000
There are twelve players on a roster (?). = $84,000,000
There are some thirty teams (give or take). = $2,520,000,000
That does not included coaches, trainers, etc.
Take a guess; per team: = $6,000,000 ( I don’t know. It’s probably double that)
Times Thirty Teams: = $180,000,000 – $360,000,000
Total estimated team payroll not counting Owners, General Managers, Office Workers and many more etecetra’s I have no idea about…
I won’t bother adding that massive total to the massive (massive in my mind from someone generally earning $65,000 a year and barely getting by) total.
ESTIMATED TOTAL = $2,520,000,000
With Endorsements added on to that it could easily be five times that total. = $14,400,000,000
Maybe my mind is too small, but it seems like $14,400,000,000 could bring a lot of relief to a great number of metropolitan inner city industry.
Now, as we all know, the U.S. Constitution does not guarantee every citizen (or illegal ones for that matter. Or anyone for that matter except those “lucky” enough to have a government contract).
If we get right down to the false dichotomy of government taxes, I believe therein lies the big problem. Ours is (has become) a system of envy and covetousness leading to large scale theft on the part of the government at the expense of the worker/provider/taxpayer.
But let’s just put that on the table for now and consider the Billions that the “privileged” NBA player
would have to work with to help elevate great suffering in the communities from which the majority of them once left behind.
Final Comment: With all that said, it’s not my responsibility to pay someone else’s way, though the government is free to take from me what they want to finance those whom they deem are in more need than me and my family. (Sorry about the last point; I shouldn’t make this personal)
Thanks for taking the time to read my rant.

“…it’s not my responsibility to pay someone else’s way…”
I hear what you mean: i should be able to choose how to spend my money and who is the recipient of it.
Correction from above post:
“would have to work with to help [elevate] great suffering”
should be “alleviate”

WW,
Was having lunch and wondering what you think might happen to the Lone Star if all of California empties out and relocates to Austin (or Austin and Dallas — we both know they ain’t goin to Tyler)?
Gotta run, but will check back every now and again.
Best,
Simple Citizen
It could be tough, alright – Austin, Dallas and Houston are pretty blue. And don’t forget El Paso and San Antonio.
Thank you; actually I did forget those cities.
Personally, I have never had a problem with a balance of ideas that swings a little in each direction, but is for the most part smart and independent (which is how I have viewed Texas — both in person and from afar).
My simple belief is that we should allow ideas to compete, experiment a little (without harm) with how our government evolves (especially as the local level), and just be kind to those we disagree with (reasonable with a compromise or two – for instance I am more of a conservative libertarian type of independent, but I do not mind funding for a local library so that kids can have access to more books).
Unfortunately, I have never felt (when in person or from afar) that these ideas were very strong in California. Now I concede, it could have just been the places I traveled to; however, overall I felt that many Californians would not mind at all telling me what was completely wrong about me and / or my ideas. Further, they may not mind a colorful use of the English language when doing so.
Then it hit me that a wave of this could be headed to Texas and free ideas, reasonable dialogue, and compromise could become a thing of the past.
Now between you and me — I think there is a little bit of shuffling going on here and although the Texas shell may have the ball under it, sometimes; while no one is looking, I do bet that ball is also under the Wyoming shell, but there is just not that much press on the matter currently (accept Mr. Kanye West wishing to build a “spaceship ranch” or some such thing out there, but he is a distraction / cover at best).
Jackson Hole is expanding rapidly and has been evolving into a liberal playground since the 1990s; my guess is there are plenty of individuals headed that way, but a whole lot less talk about it. If I am right, I do wonder what could change in the state regarding our advances in energy independence — could be a real issue if it is both Texas and Wyoming.
Great speaking with you today; thanks for the responses
Best….
Good evening, WeeWeed!
Evenin’ Bari!
Evenin’ WeeWeed!
Has anyone been invited to the barbecue this weekend sponsored by Aldenberg, Durham and Barr? Me either.
Will the inaction resulting from the excellent investigative work and documentation done by Sundance have a detrimental effect on the public’s participation in Crimestoppers and Neighborhood Watch groups? I think so.
Is it too early to have a cocktail?
H&HC, 2nd-16th ,
Well about a week ago, me and the family were picking up some tacos from a local business. Attorney General Barr was outside enjoying a burrito (true story). Does this count as being invited to dine with him? Please be clear this was Mexican, not barbecue.
Unfortunately, his mouth was full and I did not wish to bother him, because I am a CONSERVATIVE, and I let people dine in peace (better for the digestion). = )
On your other point:
Its 5:00 PM somewhere; a cocktail could just set the mood for the day.
In the Rodham / Clinton household, it is almost “juice time” and the boxes of Chardonnay are probably being lined up in the kitchen by the help. So I think you are good to go.
Consider it this way, if the lady, behind the man, who was a President and abused his position of power, decided to abuse her own power by running as a Senator, then taking backroom deals because she could not complete the goal, thereby becoming the Secretary of State, in which her happiest moment was to quote Julius Caesar when deposing a leader that had decided to cause our nation no harm anymore (gosh my eyes are getting tired looking at this hornet’s nest as I type it), decides its 5:00 PM somewhere every morning; THEN YOU SHOULD BE FINE.
In all seriousness…Happy Wednesday; hope it is a good one for you!
Best,
Simple Citizen

Thanks!
H&HC, have yourself a Bloody Mary and big beautiful plate of brunch food. I thank my lucky stars that I was not invited to their party. Mine will be a whole lot more fun.
EVERYBODY HERE,
Happy Wednesday! Happy September 2nd!
Just wishing you all a wonderful and blessed day. Really busy on this end, so I have to run, but I hope all of you have a good one! = )

I am currently scrolling through the images on your site, enjoying myself thoroughly, although I am getting a bit of a reality check on just how historically challenged I am. MSM is finally tip-toeing around something I’ve been looking at for a few weeks- India and China are getting really serious about joint land claims in the Galwan Valley. The actual Line of Control is disputed and back in mid-June the Chinese and Indian troops stationed on that line got into it with Indian troops suffering 20 deaths and about as many serious injuries. China’s not admitting to any number or breakdown of casualties but this ratchets up the tension, this dustup was the first direct combat between troops of the two nations in nearly 50 years.
China’s taken Pakistan’s side in the Kashmir dispute and, for over a decade, China’s been carrying out major provocative acts threatening India’s water supply from the Himalayas, some of the dams designed to close off India’s water access have been completed and more are underway or in planning. China could easily shift India’s precarious water supply to critical, just as easily forcing a major war.
The MSM’s downplaying a platoon of dead Indian and an unknown dead Chinese soldiers, the first blood spilled in quantity in half a century between two countries locked in a battle for control of vital areas. China’s been circling India with military bases for years, it’s trying to neuter its primary potential foe in the area and India’s starting to get…upset. This has simmered for years and China’s turning up the heat…how long until the pot boils?
czaro, I’ve been following this myself and it is cause for concern. Thanks for posting it.
czarowniczy,
Good afternoon! Good to see you here, and thanks for some great questions.
Although I have zero answers, I do wonder what our role in “ginning” this thing up might be, We have been tight with Pakistan since way back with that Afghanistan thing that Zbigneiw gifted us with (I am being sarcastic about this last bit) and very strong during W’s administration. During Barry’s tenure we showed a renewed interest in India.
By gaming in these nations, we could be placing pressure on the Chinese from both the land and the sea (covert and transparent). Now as I stated, I have not got a clue as to the clear answers to your questions; however, I would be willing to bet it has something to do with when Langley turns up the gas.
Have a good day, and I am glad you brought this one up. At he beginning to middle of this year, I had been thinking on this topic; however, I shelved it for more of a domestic focus.
Best,
Simple Citizen
We’re sorta stuck. We kissed Paki butt way back as India was leaning towards the Soviets and we needed a ‘friend’ in the area. India’s realizing that China’s a big threat (too ’em a while), Russia’s not a viable buddy any more and they have the bodies while we have the military technology. Their work on the joint Russian/Indian 5th generation air superiority fighter was interesting and so was their ability to chew up US fighter pilots in play dogfights.
China’s population is aging while India’s relatively young with both India and China having equal populations by mid-century though India may actually exceed China’s population. Put advanced US military equipment with India and you gots a pretty formidable Chinese counterweight right next door. That might even persuade the other Pacific/Asian nations China’s poking with a stick to join into a really strong union quite possibly including India.
I’m still waiting for Japan to go nuke, it needs a playing card. Japan’s population is quite aged, hence the need to import NK workers and all of their research into robotics. Right now they have everything they need to put a MIRV’d nuke ICBM together. They have large space rockets, ability to launch multiple satellites from one vehicle, a huge stockpile of easily accessed fissionable materials, nuke construction knowledge, supercomputers to model the bomb’s construction and effects – all they need is someone up top to say ‘DO IT!’. I’ve been waiting for over 30 years for them to do it and that push by other Asian nations to confront China just might be the push they need. China blocked from its northern Pacific border through its Indian Ocean bases, each end of the arc secured by a nuclear power.
I have something else on China fresh from DoD I’ll try to post early on Friday’s comments.
Looking forward to it!
czarowniczy,
Wow! Excellent post. If you do not mind, I am going to need until tomorrow to even delve into this one with any helpful dialogue; you cover a lot of ground in not too many paragraphs; I am envious (not in the sine way, but in the friendly way)!
So I will just start with a serious suggestion that both Prime Minister Abe and the Diet have heard a few voices expressing a more capable Japan along the lines you are speaking of. Plus the Swiss are consulting on bomb shelter construction and have been for about 2-3 years.
No for just a little humor:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-3179045/The-Death-Star-weapon-Japan-just-fired-world-s-powerful-laser.html
An interesting idea, but not quite yet practical yet; however, you have to love the name.
More tonight or tomorrow.
Thanks for the post; it has my “wheels” spinning!
All my best,

Czar rocks. Totally. His knowledge is amazingly broad, and his experience in the military and law enforcement matches it. He is clear eyed, clear thinking, and pays attention. And he has a wicked sense of humor. Don’t get him started on puns!
Have to agree with you The Tundra PA; will heed your sound advice and wish you very well.
The Japanese have been poking the Chinese regularly since the end of WW2, I don’t ever see the two having long, warm showers together. Japan’s gone a way to apologize to Korea, even imported tons of NK workers to help NK shore up its economy though a bunch of that was probably to prevent another NK war that Japan might catch ‘fallout’ from.
Japanese politicians still visit the Yasukuni war shrine that honors the Japanese soldiers who died in WW2. The Japanese pols regularly visit it rather than openly flip China the finger and since China started putting the pressure on Japan in the Sea of Japan, Japan’s been rearming at a rate faster than any time since WW2 and visiting the shrine too. The only viable alternative to a build up that would require more young bodies, problematic in a number of ways, is more military robotics and Japanese missiles of various ranges that nukes might be loaded on. Watch for the Japanese to field ‘improved’ space launch vehicles (though the don’t really need them) and buying (it’s been shopping) foreign long-range ALCMs it could use to develop its own.
Japan’s already launched its own small constellation of satellites to ‘augment’ the US GPS system in the Asian region. Hmmmmm, ‘augment the US GPS system in the Asian region’. Probably doesn’t mean anything at all…
Okay, I am just going to say it…
YOU ARE ON FIRE THIS EVENING!
And here all I came back with were two quick references about rearmament:
“Under Abe, meanwhile, the government has been methodically working to lay the legal groundwork for a more pronounced break from its pacifist constraints. In 2014, the government approved a reinterpretation of the war-renouncing Article 9 of the Japanese Constitution. This granted the military powers to exercise the right of collective self-defense — essentially allowing Japanese forces to come to the aid of allies under attack during operations deemed necessary for Japanese security. Two contentious security laws implemented in 2016 formalized the reinterpretation and expanded the scope of the type of operations that the Japanese military can support. Abe’s government also removed a ban on weapons exports, indirectly boosting the country’s capacity to produce its own arms.”
https://geopoliticalfutures.com/slowly-surely-japans-military-prowess-grows/
And
“Now Tokyo plans to upgrade two existing helicopter-carrier vessels so they can transport and launch fighter jets, “a move critics say violates its postwar constitutional commitment to a purely defensive role for the military”, reports The Guardian.
Previous Japanese governments have specifically ruled out acquiring aircraft carriers, adhering to the postwar consensus that the vessels’ capabilities could be interpreted as offensive and therefore in violation of its “pacifist” constitution.
“The notion that the best defense is a good offense is gaining traction among Japanese decision-makers,” writes Phillip Orchard in Geopolitical Futures, driven by China’s increasingly expansionist maritime policy in the region and the continuing threat posed by North Korea.”
https://www.theweek.co.uk/98170/why-is-japan-rearming
Now I cannot quite agree with the whole “The Japanese have been poking the Chinese regularly since the end of WW2, I don’t ever see the two having long, warm showers together.”, (humbly and respectfully) because we are not touching on the greater pan Asian concept that came out of the 19th century and was darn nearly manifested in the 20th century.
The dainyo may view imperialism differently, and just more clever at hiding their steps while the technically control (pretty much) everything in Japan. If we think Japan is just working to hard to grow its population, then I would (humbly) suggest that the negative numbers in growth are purposeful and that a smaller population was desired by the ruling families. Lest we forget (although I am now forgetting the gentleman’s name), as prominent U.S. investor attempted a buyout on a Japanese company in the early / mid 1980s and the dainyo sent him packing (why am I drawing a blank; I know this? — maybe later).
If Japan and China (both nations with very long memories) view our nation as imperialistic and still “gaming” them, then they could be much closer than we think, but at levels that are not easily discernible to the general public.
When Japan initially set up a government in Nanking, it was part of a pan Asian idea in which the Japanese (who site, in very ancient literature, a connection to China going back to inception at a religious level) were saying to the Chinese, “we made overtures for you to be our partner, and you turned us down; now we will drag you into this concept, kicking and screaming if we must”. It then devolved into the usual imperial and somewhat eugenics types of underpinnings (we will get rid of a bunch of you, then breed the rest of your people out of existence, and that bunk that the British sold them).

By the way, while we are on the topic:
WHENEVER THERE IS A CONFLICT OR A PROBLEM IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, MY FIRST RESPONSE IS TO SIMPLY BLAME THE BRITISH. = )
Like Kevin Bacon, I can tie (just about) any global topic back to them. = )

Back on topic:
Well, I have to run for a little bit. If I can, I will get back here and continue this excellent and fascinating dialogue.
Oh yeah, and I agree with you 120%, space is the new, trendy, way to control / threaten to destroy the planet. Even though our General Lesley Groves (not a fan) wanted this power during the Eisenhower administration, it really did not get tail winds until President Reagan (humble thought / observation) began to fund SDI.
President Trump has two, maybe three, reasons for the, more recent, heavy endorsement.
1. Keeps the Pentagon happy with him and may keep him alive (a very good thing).
2. It makes some sense if we are not going to use it to threaten everyone on God’s green Earth and would just like the “high ground” (pretty sure Gen. Groves would have threatened the entire planet).
3. Could yield civilian advances, if we do not go full Star Trek and first have WW3 first.
Japan may already see the practicality of being in space as a step forward, but again moving in (almost) masked steps as to conceal eventual goals (at this current time).
Everyone with the aspiration to drop something boomish on someone else far away uses space research as an ICBM builder. After all, who would deny someone else the ability to play Star Trek? The systems and techniques are almost identical, just takes small tweaks.
The technology to launch multiple nuke warheads from one rocket is identical, again with tweaks, to that used to launch multiple satellites from one rocket. Rumor is that the US sold the technology to China during the 90s when the WH was also selling US technology to China that allowed them to make their ICBMs…errr, space launch vehicles…as reliable as ours. The ability for the Chicoms to launch multiple warheads that also look suspiciously like metric copies of ours from a super reliable ICBM.
Japan’s as nervous as a cat in a Chinese wet market, both China and NK have nukes and missiles that can reach it, NK’s even floated a few over to illuminate the point. If Japan does develop a solid defensive long-range missile system the US under some squirrel pinko liker Biden could turn off or ‘adjust’ the GPS system signals to make using them as targeting aids impossible so it’s handy to have an ‘augmentation’.
There’s a bunch of crap going on over there that could lead to a world war far more easily than what’s going on in the Mideast. China’s poking folks all over the area and some of them are pissed, all it will take is something like a bigger battle between Chinese and Indian forces over Kashmir, the Indian’s getting the red butt over China blocking its water and attacking a dam or two or another Chinese ship ramming another Japanese ship and sinking it. MSM’s just putting this stuff on the back burner.
Yeah, I agree on all of it.
The Clintons / Bushs (think Neil with the hookers in Beijing) sold, UH UM, I mean negotiated with the Chinese to improve their “technology” (think abilities). Then the Bushes groomed George the younger, while tacitly supporting the Project for a New American Century, at the same time the Clintons stole the furniture, as well as the plates, from the White House (and I think the “W” keys on the computer keyboards).
As for MSM, they really do not like us. Basically, they think we are stupid “mouth breathers” who should be, and are now masked.
Kissinger: who was much beloved by China, is still alive due to “cryo” is still whining about how we need to be nicer to the nation that tortures and then consumes live dogs because of the endorphin release near death. He felt we were all “useless” eaters, and were naturally kept in the dark by our own dimwitted lifestyles (seems many of us have not had enough wine and cheese on silver platters, as well as dated a fine dame like Barbara Wawa),
It stinks that they do not tell the truth and are not transparent, but is this anything really new in the American media?
Should we be concerned? Yes. Are you helping us all by causing us to think about it? Yes. Does the history I cited mean that much? No, it just lets us realize that there are, possibly, many facets to the actual events.
On this second post, I really do agree with a majority of your thoughts on this matter, but I do get stuck with:
1. Why would China, in essence, begin a two front war (border with India and then the China Sea), before it really gets hot? Seems like a suicide mission without clear objectives. Maybe I am missing something.
2. While I agree that Japan could assemble nuclear armaments, I still think that the idea is an extremely sensitive point with the population (including the dainyo). They have the greatest experience with the end result, and have a profound understanding o.f the pointlessness of it all
(After all they made several attempts to surrender after the fire bombing of Tokyo; the sticking point was set in precedent [Common Law past precedent forms future decisions] by FDR for a “total surrender”, even if it cost the world far more lives than was needed to bring a peace and further negotiations. He was not our finest leader by a long shot in my humble opinion,)
Further, it goes against the Shinto idea of being harmonious with the natural world (not that they have not ignored this idea to some extent before).
Last, we may wish to consider how the United States has utilized the Japanese to accomplish goals by proxy. In the end, the United States may not a nuclear Japan as it could say not only do the bases need to be removed from Japan proper, but you guys better leave Okinawa, Therefore, the U.S. maybe directing the conversation.
If the alleged rumor is true that the Mossad took out Fukushima with small nuclear ordinance, due to the willingness of Japan to foster fuel rods for Iran, then the moment for a full up armament would have been at in the months following that event. Yet would the U.S. wish to have the Japanese staring down Israel?
All I can say is that my brain is spinning as I even try to think about all of it. = )
Best…
First off, I’d put that ‘Mossad/Fukushima’ thing right in the trash. Israel had far more effective ways of taking Fukushima out, as effective but with far more deniability and without all of the fingerprints, literally, it would create. Japan processes fuel rods for a number of countries, removing the bad stuff and returning clean rods to the users and there are folks who watch the Japanese stocks of potential bomb materials like hawks. If the Japanese are going to squirrel any bomb materials and risk getting caught they’re going to do it where it’s easiest and offers the most benefits – at home.
Re: Shinto ideals – what about WW2. Like any religion Shinto can be broadly interpreted. I remember our Christian chaplains praying that God should keep us safe while we went out and killed various opponents over the decades. “Skyyyyyyy pilot…
BTW, I despise Kissinger, Herr Realpolitik. As I’ve posted here over the years he’s been responsible for untold thousands of deaths, top in my book are those killed during the Indian/Paki war in ’71/’72 because he didn’t want to piss off Pakistan and the US POWs left in North Vietnam so as not to create a block to ending the war. Guy’s got a body count that Pol Pot would ‘thumbs up’.
‘
Circled back around, as promised; although the thread is so long, we may want to push any further dialogue into the current day. This will be short and I can squeeze it in:
1. Agreed on Fukushima and Israel
2. Agreed on religion and war, but in their case, I was trying to say that the two bombs used against them may have caused a re-evaluation of their spiritual perspective and place in the world.
We are now growing very far away from 1945, and I agree that the pendulum may be swinging in the other direction toward rearmament; however, if we were wondering why it was so many years to this event, then the war and a rebirth of spirituality may be one reason.
3. Kissinger and Soros should share the same cell and not have access to their coffins during the day. Thanks for your thoughts on this man, I could not agree more!
I don’t think the MSM is actually tip-toeing around the issue…
I think they will report on it once they figure out how to blame it all or mostly on President Trump.
Everything negative that happens around the world is viewed by the Fake News (MSM) through their “blame it on Trump” lens.
Which does beg the question if there is a larger intent in the whole game. NO, GB, I am not putting the old tinfoil hat on; it is in the corner. = )
If the last 4 Presidents can be traced to Langley and the CFR, then it does beg the question of whether they backed off of this one, in order to have a “scape goat”.
Take a man that the people supported and then drop all of the world on top of his head. A sort of “we will teach you” moment.
To be very, very clear, I do not believe that our President Trump is complicit in such an ideas; to the contrary, I think he is aware of everything now and is putting up a heck of a fight.
Either way I agree with you premise and concede I may have everything completely wrong.
Please be well.
True dat, and when Biden finishes out selling our Asian allies to China the MSM will praise his business acumen.
One of the wildcards here is Vietnam. Vietnam is no great lover of China and has been courting the US, trying to get us to take over some of our old bases like Can Rahn Bay. China attacked VN in 1979 and pretty well got therir butts handed to them. Footnote: that led the Chinese to ask the DoD to help them develop an NCO and WO system as their antiquated top-down command system went a good ways to their getting bitch smacked by the NVA.
First: “True dat, and when Biden finishes out selling our Asian allies to China the MSM will praise his business acumen. ”
HILARIOUS!
With regard to Vietnam, we may have looked like we left when the embassy was seized, but lest we forget the 1980s cinema and television!
Yep, because of the work of individuals such as Mr. Shackleford and Mr. Bissel, our nation kept the party going with a very lucrative fund raising effort. If we just review Lethal Weapon (the good one) or the A-Team (not sure if there was a “good one”), we would know that the flow of goods was still coming through Vietnam, after the DOD left. Those guys in Virginia kept the good times rolling for ages, until Afghanistan became more interesting (again, blame the British).
In reflection, we begin our relationship with China through the opium trade (which made the Delanos quite wealthy). Then the CFR suggests that we enter WW2 and choose to fight against (our former WW1 friend) Japan; heck our President even provokes them and then imprisons many of their decedents in the United States.
We decide to help China (not sell them drugs this time) and get fickle with which side of their army to back. So what do we do?
Back them both!
We build Mao with Lend Lease and encourage original recipe Uncle Joe (not Diet Uncle Joe Biden, conqueror of “Corn Pop”!) to do the same. He takes the arms and boots (the ones we gave him) that just don’t fit and sends them to Mao. At the same time, we are sending weapons and lots of money to Mr. Kai-shek.
When it comes time to choose, we chose Mao. We get into arguments about semantics, but then get a hold on China’s future (we did consult on the one child policy, a form of eugenics, through the UN) and build another enemy for a future date.
As for Mr. Kai-shek, he gets the “second date for the prom award”. and is the first to help us with the new and improved drug trade. Vietnam is just one participant in this new enterprise.
We “lose” (assuming the liberal narrative that is drilled constantly into our young student’s minds in order to turn them all into Jane Fonda and the SDS) the Korean and Vietnam Wars by design (UN constantly tipping off battle plans, while our Presidents refuse to listen to their generals), but the drug trade continues to grow unabated by the conflicts.
Now I may have this all wrong, and apologize if I do. This is just an amalgamation of some reading and I concede that I may have misinterpreted a good deal of it.
Hopefully the pot does not over boil, the Lord steps directly in, and cooler heads prevail.
There are probably a lot of good people in any agency or government we can think of, and I am sure that they are working overtime to try and deescalate the whole region.
All my best,
Simple Citizen
The Holy Prophet Samuel is among the Saints who are commemorated today, August 20th on the traditional Calendar of the Orthodox Christian Church and September 2nd on the civil calendar.
Saint Oswin, the King-Martyr of Deira in England (+ 651) is also honored today.
The repose of Hieromonk Seraphim of Platina, California was on this day in 1982. Father Seraphim was an American whose family name was Rose and he became an Orthodox Christian in the Russian Church Abroad. His spiritual father was Saint John the Wonderworker of Shanghai and San Francisco (+ 1966). Father Seraphim was a prolific translator of texts into English and author of many articles and books in English.
Some of his writings are featured on this website:

I always liked this film. That’s when real WWII stuff was still obtainable at easy prices. Split rim helmets with correct liners. Field jackets. M1’s and carbines. Herringbone twill USMC stenciled fatiques.
My father bought me a 6.5 Arisaka with fully intact mum and all matching numbers except, of course, the bolt. For 8$ out of a big wood barrel with a dozen rifles in it. A few stock dings and missing cleaning rod, but nice bore and fully functional. Nearly impossible to find one without the mum ground off now.
I still remember Dad not buying a WWII SS Stahlhelm. Was around 1963. I still remember the price tag because the table was about eye level to me, LOL, $25. Could’ve been a forgery but would’ve been worth it on the chance it was real. Last I checked an SS helmet with provenance back to the GI who sent it home went for $18,000. Had to be about 5 years ago.
Anyway. This reminds me of boyhood days, using a stick for a barrel on a seemingly endless supply of Garand and carbine stocks, and carrying a BB pistol in a leather 1911 holster.
Used to go to “flea markets” in the 1980s with my own father, and can relate to what you are saying. Most of them were surplus markets and history buffs.
Thank you.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle;
be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do you, O prince of the heavenly host,

Choosing a weapon for self defense (discussion referred from another thread) .
An AR-15 is good if you’re comfortable with a semi-auto rifle. There are so many brands and options within each brand for that style of rifle that you will need guidance from a knowledgeable AR-15 user and expert. Too much to discuss here.
Otherwise buy the largest caliber of handgun that you can *safely* handle AND *accurately* shoot, AND for which there is at least a case (1,000 rounds) of standard hollow point ammo available right now. These days, .38 Special, .380 ACP (less recoil than .38 special), .40 S&W, .45 ACP, and 9mm are currently the most popular calibers for private owners.
My wife and I both use and prefer the 9mm. Both of us oldies have arthritis and are not unusually strong nor have large hands. We can safely handle the 9mm with reasonable accuracy in our Springfield and Glock semi-auto’s.
Remember to buy at least a half dozen or a dozen extra ammo magazines for your particular handgun model.
But please do NOT attempt to use it before you get trained in basic safe handling and shooting from a qualified, certified expert. Unfortunately, not everyone who owns guns is really a qualified instructor or knows proper handling and the issues surrounding gun use in self-defense situations.
GB,
Thanks for the post; it is helpful.
How do you feel about the Tarus Judge? Just wondering.
Again, thanks.
Best,
Simple Citizen
GB,
Certainly I appreciate your knowledge and do not question your experience.
What I wonder about is only recommending hollow point and no other options. From a legal standpoint, and even under “CASTLE” provisions, this seems a hard defense when the judge comes to town.
Protection is good; jail under local (liberal) judges, seems bad.
Maybe I do not have a clue, but I am just trying to help.
Please be well.
The argument for HP, if tried, is that it’s what cops use. If it’s good for them why’s it not good for you? Is their life worth more than yours? It’s okay for you to be killed because you can’t use better suited ammo, but not ok for them to be killed?
Also, ball ammo (often called “hardball”) can and often does exit the body and is still powerful enough to cause grave bodily injury or death to innocent bystanders. And you’re such a responsible gun owner and humanitarian that you don’t want to endanger or harm innocent bystanders.
Taurus Judge is a novelty but I’d not want to stand in front of one. Never shot one. Some observations. The long chamber puts a .45 slug far from the barrel. The slug has to jump through the unrifled chamber to reach the rifled barrel. A very long jump that may impact accuracy. Ungainly long for carry.
Revolver will always fire. Semi-auto may jam if not firmly held to provide solid platform for recoil spring to impinge against, then collapse (store energy), and then expand thus driving the slide forward and chambering new round. Clearing FTE (failure to eject) or FTF (failure to feed) requires training and repetitive experience and must be instantaneous without thought in life or death situation.
That means shooting your semi auto at least twice a month, minimum 3 hours each, with suitably knowledgeable instructor. Self defense use requires specific training and mindset. If you’re only going to shoot an hour or two once a month then a revolver is a far more reliable choice for self defense.

Boots,
Thank you for your analysis and recommendations; it all makes good sense.
Please be well.

It’s more handgun than I personally prefer to handle because I don’t have huge powerful hands. If I think I’ll need that much stopping power I’ll grab something else from my gun safe……. 😉
Thank you; I do understand completely.
Be well.
