And we shut down our economy over flawed calculations within a flawed model. Extraordinary actions REQUIRE extraordinary proof…..and we in actuality DIDN’T have it. We crippled ourselves over a theory, a possibility. It won’t surprise me one bit if the number of suicides and economic stress related deaths equal or surpass the ‘virus’ induced deaths.

President Trump hinted at that the other day and as usual was roundly criticized for it. The AP even put out a piece claiming that “studies” show that in times of economic stress people who are prone to depression and suicide are “less likely” to kill themselves, Yup, the AP actually reported that. Just so they could say the President does not know what he is talking about.

This man induced worldwide panic, causing economies, including ours, to free fall by 30%, causing irreparable harm to MILLIONS of people…and now, all of a sudden, it’s coming out that he is, and always has been, a flake and a doomsdayer who has been wrong over and over again? Why did anyone listen to him in the first place and is there any way to shove the genie of destruction that he released back into the bottle (or maybe we can shove it somewhere else)?

Donald Trump needs to come out swinging, IMHO, right now, with the full throated support of Dr.Birx and Dr Fauci, both of whom have been backpedaling their estimates in the past few days, which the media has been ignoring!

Weird press conference with ohio virus update. Dr. Acton just pushed in her subtle way for universal healthcare. No actual data. Just a report of 1400 people with confirmed cases of the China virus. And 25 additional deaths. Still pushing that ohio will have around the same number of cases of virus as New York within two weeks. But on the other hand Dr. Acton says because we did what was asked regarding staying at home that they were seeing that it was really paying off with the drop in icu patients. Yet, on the other hand her and the governor were all happy and tells people to go out and walk your dog and go ahead and work out in the garden. Have fun. But keep your anti social spacing.

Dr. Acton was asked where she got the number to expect 6;000 to 8,000 new cases a day. Says there is a lack of data and they are basically just guessing. But if they are wrong and it is lower then it is because we behaved correctly.

Eventually they will strategize who and when people can go back to work in the weeks or months to come when they start getting actual hard data. 😳

The more I see and hear these people the more I am sure we will be in a Great Depression.

I live in the People’s Republic of Washington, with our pathetically incompetent Governor, who wasted six months running for President and has done nothing but thumb his nose at Donald Trump, insisting on making our state a “Sanctuary”, continuing to allow Chinese citizens to cross out northern border from Canada in direct defiance of the President’s directive, which is probably why the outbreak STARTED in a poorly run nursing home ten minutes from my house…

I really do not want to have our state put on the Quarantine list but know that our Governor will probably welcome it, as it will give him, and the mayor/city council of Seattle an excuse to blame Donald Trump when our economy completely collapses, rather than allowing the public to see that it was THEIR policies that have led to all of the increased crime, spread of diseases through their refusal to deal with the homeless populations, and our utter lack of preparation for any kind of emergency, especially one of this magnitude!

The caregiver to resident ratio in Washington State has continued to rise – it used to be 4 to 1, then it was 8 to 1, and a few years ago it was raised again to 10 residents to every one CNA…and what the article does not point out, but what many of us who have loved ones in a nursing home have observed is that as the numbers have gone up, the skill level of the workers have gone down! It is a low paying job, which is crazy considering how much the facilities charge, and there is a huge turn-over rate.

My mother’s facility, which was very nice and well staffed when she moved there four years ago, has changed significantly but I have exhausted every dime my parents ever had and now my mother is on state aid, so I can’t move her…the Life Care Center where the outbreak started is one of the few facilities that will take Medicaid patients without any kind of “buy down” but the quality of care there is known to be very bad.

I doubt that we will ever be given the whole story as to how this virus was brought into our country!

This corruption began in 1871 with the Organic of Columbia’s Act. (J C Pearson).
The USA went from a republic to a corruption in 1871.
Dec 25, 1913 President Woodrow Wilson and a handful of Congressmen
were blackmailed by the cabaal in handing the control of America’s money supply
        over to the Rothschilds.

The comments are interesting. Some say that the 2.2 trillion relief deal makes the Fed function as a bank for the Treasury. Under this structure, the Fed can be audited. They say that this will lead to ending the Fed and restoring the Treasury to all its original functions, including control of the currency.

I do remember President Trump saying, “It’s their currency,” meaning the American people, in reply to a question about the deal.

Retired Magistrate here: Response to Betty: Dr. Acton is an Obama/Clinton supporter and a Democrat with very strong socialist/or worse leanings. Her numbers have never made any sense; i.e., that between 40-70 percent of Ohio’s population would have the virus. In other words between 4 to 7 million people! Of course the only way you can prove this is to test everyone in the State of Ohio, which is not going to happen because of the criteria for testing-you have to have specific symptoms.

So, Dr. Acton, and the paternalistic Gov. DeWine (RINO) just keep throwing out numbers and scaring Ohio’s population into submitting to more and more restrictions. I am not saying that this virus is not dangerous; it is to those of us over 70 or those with underlying health issues. However, most seniors have lived through a lot worse and many of us have at least some degree of common sense.

As the weather warms up, it is going to be harder and harder for people to “shelter in place” and not do the things they want to do. Kids have a lot of energy to burn off and keeping them inside or even going out for a little walk or bike ride isn’t going to get rid of that energy. People that are getting paychecks and working from home see this as a vacation; however, those that are not getting paid right now are getting frustrated and angry. I know the CARE package will help, but sooner or later people will want to go back to their regular lives.

Giving up one’s freedom and sequestering ourselves is going to be worse than the virus itself.

I’ve been thinking about how can we get Democrats to finally come around to undoing some of the lockdown. They d on’t care about our economy. I think it will be because of the illegals. They won’t get the check. Many really live check to check. And Democrats care more about them than US citizens. So if you want to promote opening restrictions, I think starting an agenda which includes language about Democrats punishing/discriminating against illegals could work. This group could end up looting because of hunger.

Encourage any and all to contact the President regarding this matter of life and death.

        Dear Mr. President,

I have four children, one of whom is a young doctor at a large medical center, selected to be Chief Resident at [X] – a premier U.S. teaching hospital. Someday, I tell my friends and relatives, she will be Surgeon General of the United States (and I will look down from heaven to cheer her on) – those who know her agree.

One of my sons (we have [X] sons and daughters) has a beautiful young girlfriend and I believe that they will be getting married. We were on our way to [X]
state to our home there when COVID-19 exploded in that state. We turned around and returned to our [second] home.

Last night, we visited our children via ZOOM. My heart was heavy. I have [X]. As one of the millions of immunosuppressed Americans, I have self-quarantined, not only to protect myself, but my loved ones.

I would like to see my children again, to meet the girl my son may marry, to see my grandchildren yet unborn. I am full of life, enjoying hiking, cycling, gardening, writing, cooking, entertaining and standing up for you, our dear President, from the beginning, no matter the cost .

Please see the link below. I am asking that you do all within your power to enable citizens like myself the chance to obtain this treatment. We want the chance to live. Thank you and God bless you and your beautiful family. Praying for you each and every day, knowing and seeing that God is with you and at your side each and every moment.

Unfortunately doctors in this instance can only react to the effects of this virus. There has never been a successful vaccine against a Coronavirus to this point. That could change but doubtful so any promises in that direction are misguided. The most important thing the healthcare system, including ALL providers, can do is to vastly improve their infection control protocols. They are dealing with a very infectious virus and hospitals are notorious at cross contamination. We don’t want them becoming vectors to the community. Finally, let physicians do their job at keeping individuals OUT of the hospital. If an old, known medication seems to be working at doing that, give them full legal protection from the Federal government against those who would prosecute them for prescribing it. Don’t let halfwit politicians make medical decisions, even with the approval of their idiotic medical ‘advisers’.

    • #1 on the wish list: An available antigen (antibody) test. So far only a few NHS staff have gotten that. With that test, we could tell who among those exposed and recovered has any immunity. You can make plasma from their blood and transfuse the serious new cases immediately without the serious risks drugs like Plaquenil pose for patients already taking conflicting drugs (diabetes and heart medications).

More PPE supply is also on the list, but other sources for that have become available. The public and providers from temporarily closed clinics really stepped up to solve that problem for now. As long as the number of cases doesn’t rise too quickly, that can be coped with.

You can still go hiking, walking etc. This weekend people were still out hiking but definitely tourist trade down so actually I find it refreshing…fewer people on the trail. And dogs have to be on leash because they could spread virus.

  40. Asia Times: Why France is hiding a cheap and tested virus cure

“What’s going on in the fifth largest economy in the world arguably points to a major collusion scandal in which the French government is helping Big Pharma to profit from the expansion of Covid-19. Informed French citizens are absolutely furious about it. …
    In quick succession:
The Macron government refuses to apply mass testing, as practiced with success in South Korea and Germany.

Le Monde and the French state health agency characterize Raoult’s research as fake news, before issuing a retraction.
Professor Perrone reveals on the 24/7 LCI news channel that the stock of chloroquine at the French central pharmacy has been stolen.
Thanks to a tweet by Elon Musk, President Trump says chloroquine should be available to all Americans. Sufferers of lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, who already have supply problems with the only drug that offers them relief, set social media afire with their panic.
US doctors and other medical professionals take to hoarding the medicine for the use of themselves and those close to them, faking prescriptions to indicate they are for patients with lupus or rheumatoid arthritis.
Morocco buys the stock of chloroquine from Sanofi in Casablanca.

Pakistan decides to increase its production of chloroquine to be sent to China.
Switzerland discards the total lockdown of its population; goes for mass testing and fast treatment; and accuses France of practicing “spectacle politics.”

Christian Estrosi, the mayor of Nice, having had himself treated with chloroquine, without any government input, directly calls Sanofi so they may deliver chloroquine to Nice hospitals.

Because of Raoult’s research, a large-scale chloroquine test finally starts in France, under the – predictable – direction of INSERM, which wants to “remake the experiments in other independent medical centers.” This will take at least an extra six weeks – as the Elysee Palace’s scientific council now mulls the extension of France’s total lockdown to … six weeks.
If joint use of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin proves definitely effective among the most gravely ill, quarantines may be reduced in select clusters.
The only French company that still manufactures chloroquine is under judicial intervention. That puts the chloroquine hoarding and theft into full perspective. It will take time for these stocks to be replenished, thus allowing Big Pharma the leeway to have what it wants: a costly solution.
It appears the perpetrators of the chloroquine theft were very well informed. …

There was no state of collective panic in South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam – to mention four Asian examples outside of China. A dogged combination of mass testing and contact tracing was applied with immense professionalism. It worked. In the Chinese case, with the help of chloroquine. And in all Asian cases, without a murky profit motive to the benefit of Big Pharma.
There hasn’t yet appeared the smoking gun that proves the Macron system not only is incompetent to deal with Covid-19 but also is dragging the process so Big Pharma can come up with a miracle vaccine, fast. But the pattern to discourage chloroquine is more than laid out above – in parallel to the demonization of Raoult.”

My American Friends, I am Israeli and a Trump supporter. I noticed that most of the media is mainly fear mongering around the globe and you can’t get a clear picture of what it’s all about. Lots of theories, not facts.
Most media gives general numbers without specifics of ages and other factors.
Israel managed to keep one of the lowest mortality rates (below 0.1%, while Italy had some 8%, Spain about 3% and the US about 1.2%). The reason Israel has a low rate is the strategy it applies. There are a few facts that are not published in the US.
    1. The Corona is more contagious than other viruses and with all the restrictions you still going to get exponential increase in number of carriers. Its nothing to worry about in case of healthy non-elderly people.
    2. Only the elderly and very ill are at higher risk. One should only worry about those and not get panic when numbers are rising. People under 40 old will probably not even know they had it or mild symptoms. The body develops immune after some 3-4 weeks. You maybe already had it along with your family.
    3. Corona is not airborne, you can only get it from surfaces and people who sneeze or cough on you.
Pay attention to the defense minister of Israel in the video below. The guy is known to be a bright mind with a background of international success in high tech and also special forces.
In Israel the Defense Office is all over it , Mossad Intelligence agency is getting millions of test kits and the army is recruited to protect and help the elderly. Israelis still didn’t get economic aide but they will.
Realize that the reason Italy has large % of death is that they failed to protect the elderly and because of the contagious nature of the virus their hospitals can’t take care of everyone and they let people with lower chances to die.
    Watch below.

“Living in hot humid climates protects you from Coronavirus.” Myth.

The chart **shows** infections in warm humid climate.

It’s fact thar WuFlu spreads more easily in colder low humidity environs. Fauci talks about it all the time in relation the flu season, warmer higher humidity kills the virus. And he tells us about it reemerging in the fall, cooler lower humidity.

There are many doctors who dispute that this virus can carry 6 feet from a sneeze or cough, Dr Keith Rose being one, I’ve posted his podcasts. The virus mostly spreads by touching infected surfaces.

There is a ton of misinformation out there, and it’s promulgated by the “experts” at the WHO, NIH, and the CDC.

            • We always have high humidity overall in the north and west of the state, less so in the east. There are more cases in the west and north than in the drier east. However, King County also has the highest population density. It’s hard to balance all the possible factors affecting disease spread.

So maybe she’s good with HYDROXYchloroquine? Ya think?

While driving to my favorite restaurant to pick up family dinner, I made the mistake of listening to our local news radio station. They were singing the praise of the work of Trudeau and Doug Ford (Ontario Premier) in managing this crisis, and contrasting it with the disastrous leadership of Orange Man Bad.

I’m sure not one of the commentators actually has watched ANY of the Task Force Press Conferences, but they take their lead, sadly, from the US “media”.

Four years of non-stop demonization makes it easy for them.
