Bernie Stands Alone – All Other Candidates Agree to Let The Club Pick The Democrat Nominee…

It was the final question in a wild and furious Democrat debate last night: “If no candidate earns the majority of delegates how should a nominee be chosen?”  Should the candidate with the most delegates be selected as the nominee?

Every candidate on stage -except Bernie Sanders- stated the private Club rules should determine the nominee at the DNC convention in Wisconsin; regardless of who comes to the convention with the highest number of delegates.   Bernie Sanders position is that whoever has the highest number of votes and earned delegates should be the nominee.

.

With proportional distribution this difference of opinion could be problematic if most of the candidates stay in the race (quite probable now, except Biden) and split the non-Bernie vote. Yet, Bernie Sanders beats them all in the popular vote and earned delegate count.

After the first round delegate count at the convention the 700 ‘Super Delegates’ could select a ‘non-Bernie’ nominee in round two. This has always looked like the Club plan; however, Team Bernie will likely go bananas.

So, the big question in my mind is what is the over/under amount that Mini-Mike and the DNC will need to pay Bernie off this time? Has to be at least 8 figures. I would put it at $20M. After all, this will be Bernie’s last rodeo..er…revolution.

Bernie’s gonna need more than $20 million…his rioters could do that much damage in a few hours…Bernie’s take will approximate 125 million and he won’t set foot in the convention hall…he then will announce his immediate retirement from the Senate due to health reasons…

For both faces of the two faced Uniparty, the primary process and Convention has NEVER been about letting the party base pick the nominee.

It has always been about creating the ILLUSION that the base membership/voters had some say, and mainly to gin up enthusiasm for the election.

And of coarse to raise and spend lots of $, and siphon off some.

Dutchman, I agree with you on the ‘Rat side.
However, on the Pubbie side, it seems to me that DJT came in, busted up the game and walked away with the jackpot….. against the wishes of the GOPe (establishment).
I remember as the season went on, Sundance had the ‘Hollywood Squares’ display with all the candidates, and as each one dropped out SD would put DJT’s face in that space, until at the end EVERY space had a smiling DJT.
By the way, I was a Ted Cruz supporter UNTIL DJT came and held a rally near me in Biloxi, MS. I went, and he convinced me that he was THE MAN!

Historically, the GOPe has been just like the dems, however.
If you look at,goldwaters campaign, the “Rockefeller Republicans” did everything they could, to prevent him from getting the nomination.

Once he did, the CIA/FBI bugged his campaign plane, fed a question to willing media cohort, and torpedoed his campaign.
Repubs worked WITH Obama, to sink the tea party.
Cheated Ron Paul, to give Romney the nomination.
Fought to keep Reagan off the ballot, and seeded his admin with ‘Bushies’ and administrative state types, who TOLD him ‘Don’t say Tear down this wall”.
Both faces have been rigging the primary process, my whole life.
But, to keep up the illusion that voters have a say, they run the risk that SOMETIMES, a candidate, will get thru.
On Repubs, Goldwater got nomination, but they torpedoed him. Reagan made it through.
            And, of coarse PDJT.
On Dem side, Carter was not a party favorite. It was after him that,Dems doubled the,# of Superdelegates; the idea was ‘never again!’.

Plus, voter instructions in 12 officially recognized languages, other than English. Plus, some new kind of semi-automated “ballot marking device.” The opportunities to “goose” the voting process are matastacizing as fast as the California Demo voting officials can dream up new ways, times, places, venues, and methodes to vote.

You need to look at the math. For example if bernie gets 35 % on average all the way to April 4th, and two others get 15% — this results in Bernie getting 54% of the delegates (yes, I know he has to do that in in each house district, but this is a first cut as an example), thus 1512 (1991 needed on 1st round). There is a 3 week break and a sprint of voting till the end in early June. Thru this period he would only need about 40%, in a two or three way race!!!

Regarding president Trump’s statements today at a prison graduation ceremony in Vegas the Democrat hack and former spook chief just said on MS13NBC, “He’s clearly giving every indication he wants to act like a mob boss. And he’s going to try to take care of him and his soldiers. It’s outrageous he would try to make any moral equivalency between someone like Roger Stone who the judge said has trampled the law and public servants like James Comey and others who really tried their best. You can question their decisions and judgments but really were trying to carry out their duties responsibly and with integrity.
There were people in that audience that unfortunately I did hear laughing at the things he was saying about these individuals and talking about Peter Struck and Lisa Page and others. I mean, he just plays to this very debased group of people who are listening to what he is saying in terms of just trashing good public servants and defending people like Roger Stone? I mean, give me a break.” ~ John Brennan, future jailbird, 02/20/2020.

Hillary Clinton will be spending billions of dollars [illegally …] provided to her by Mr. Bloomberg, which is the only reason why he’s actually in the equation at all.

The directors of the corporation are once again going to choose who their candidate will be … and it’s going to be: “a rematch.” They’re confident that 2016 was just a simple mistake, and with enough money (and a hefty amount of electronic voting machine fraud), “the right person will get elected this time.”

The State of Colorado has demonstrated how elementary statistical quality control procedures (remember “confidence intervals?”) can be used, with a surprisingly small number of random samples and hand-counts that could very easily be accommodated. No sense in expending energy on the primary stuff because she knows she is a shoo in. My guess is Bernie and Joe and Lizzie know too and are just putting on the show for the public. Hillary makes some innocuous public appearances here and there just to put her two cents in and let people know she’s alive and well(in her mind) and thinking politics.

I can see this happening very easily but will it? The X factor that the Dems are gambling with is the Bernie base. The rabid Bernie supporters could throw a major monkey wrench in the Hillary for Pres. plans if they are being made. Dems have a real hot potato in their hands. Stay tuned.

Here in Buffalo, NY during the 2016 primary season, there was quite a turnout of protesters at the HRC rally.

I was surprised that probably half of them were for Bernie, the other half for DJT. We had some friendly civil discussions with some.

However, from what I have seen on the Internet, there are a lot of supporters of Sen. Sanders that might not stay civil and law abiding if he gets shafted again.

Textbook liberal thinking, everybody is the winner in a race. The person that goes out and practices, puts in long hours doing the prepatory work and hustles the hardest to actually win the race will be humiliated by the chosen ones when they ignore the race results and anoints there own desires to be the party delegate.

This all starts as children raised by a single mom of the liberal socialist mind set that their child should be the winner, when they have lost in some form of contest. The destruction of the Christian family values is at the very heart of this. It is now acceptable to have no father at home during the childs life. This means there is no other parent to share in the upbringing of a child. My hat is off to all single mom’s raising children, but this is meant to be a shared responsibility. I have zero, and I say again ZERO respect for a deadbeat dad.

Now days this has translated into the children that go to college, without some form of scholarship, not working to pay for college and taking out college loans to pay for the so called higher learning , think they should not have to pay for the college degree they chose to acquire. Instead they think it is the obligation of the taxpayer to foot the bill for them, so they too can be a winner of the college scam. Everyone is a winner, and everyone is the same in this socialist pie in the sky bullshyte.

The kicker of my whole rant is you saw it all right on the Communist debate stage last night.

The complete irony of it all is the only self avowed communist Bernie Sanders, wants to play by winner take all rules, and the rest of the soon to be losers are now wanting to play by communist rules of everyone wins.

Mini Mike calls Bernie a communist, but Mini Mike is saying if I lose the race, I still want be the winner of it all. IRONY of this just oozed from his answer to the question.

If I make any single moms made by my comment please forgive me. The mother instinct to see your child win is very strong.

Bloomberg had a disastrous performance, which would sink any other candidate. But he’s pouring so much money into Democrat and media pockets it will be soon memory-holed.

Sanders had a poor performance in my view. He almost lost it when the gay guy took a shot at him, and Bernie was on the other end of single exchange Bloomberg won. Believe me, Bernie horrified people well below billionaires or even millionaires last night with his “there shouldn’t be any billionaires,” shouting.

Once again, observing Biden was like rewatching Elephant Man. Pathetic. I genuinely feel sorry for him. I didn’t think that was possible. He shouldn’t still be in it but they need him as a placeholder for some of the black and Hispanic vote.

It wasn’t well executed but Klobuchar delivered a still stinging attack on Buttigieg, the Rubio, 2016 corporate programmed candidate this cycle. Eventually someone more skilled than Mike Dukakis in drag will take him down with this.

    I disagree here.
I think Biden stays all the way to the end, just like everyone else, unless he really doesn’t want to be running.

    Here’s the logic:
A brokered convention means the Democrat Club picks the candidate. Joe Biden is already their guy. He has most of their endorsements. They were planning on a Biden nomination from the start. So why would he drop out when it’s essentially a jump ball that’s been tipped in his direction?

Bloomberg isn’t going to be the Club’s pick. He’s not one of them, he’s an exceptionally weak “Wizard of Odd” campaigner, and he’s already promised them all his money even if they kick him in the nuts.

The only way Bloomberg changes the calculus is if he tells the Club, “By the way, I’ve changed my mind, I’m going to spend my money on my campaign. I can run as a Democrat, or I can run as an independent. Your choice.”

Putting the candidates heads at a similar level makes it easier for camera operators to pan quickly from one head-shot to another without having to search vertically. Interesting that Bloomberg is vain enough to wear platform shoes that would make a box unnecessary for him. Maybe he’s been watching old Lady Gaga videos.

Reid’s correct about one thing: Given that the Dems are going to lose no matter what, their methodology for choosing the loser is… academic.

Bernie just blinked. He just gave up whatever claim he had to any moral high ground. Now he’s just like everyone else.

Hillary whined and sniveled about winning the popular vote when everyone knows the popular vote is irrelevant. The winner of presidential elections is the one who has the majority of electors. But Hillary was and is willing to throw out all the rules to feed her obsession. The rules be damned. She will have her way, and she will cheat to get it.

Bernie knows the rules. He knows that to get the nomination on the first ballot a candidate has to have 51% of the delegates, not just more than anyone else. You don’t win with 30%, or 35%, or 40%. It takes 51, and Bernie knows it.

But Bernie wants it so bad he has now declared that he would change the rules to feed HIS obsession. He is willing to cheat to get it, just like everyone else.

Bernie blinked. He’s now down in the moral slime with the rest of the cheaters, the ones with phony military credentials, phony Indian ancestors, sleazy foreign payoffs, and positions that change with the wind and the money to sell them. Watch them tear him apart in the next debate. Gonna suck to be Bernie.
