Just had it on Faux bass turds flipped to commercial just as the talking heads introduced POTUS and as four jets were taking off.

Now back to the B.S. artists.

    Anyone else despise the media?

Am I missing something or did both Faux and Faux News not broadcast the PT’s lap around the track?

Could have been a regional commercial opportunity because the local FOX channel here broadcast the motorcade’s entire slow drive around the racetrack apron. Apparently they decided not to try to get that 10-ton beast up to the speed necessary to navigate the banked turns. Air Force One’s low pass over the stadium was great! The Thunderbirds’ flyover was great! The president’s “start your engines” was great! Now everyone have a fast and safe race. Zooooom —————– Zooooom

    • Fake News Network cut away as the Beast entered the track, then cut away as PDJT waved to the fans.

Every other commercial is a MiniMi commercial.

Of course we do. I complained to FauxNews and dumped cable and got rid of my TV’s ten years ago.

It’s understandable that so many want to complain about it (just see the Pres. Thread) with a like-minded group, but it would be refreshing to read some comments from folks who’ve decided to act. Write the Fox mgmt. or anchors, for example, before writing a complaint here.

The only time I have to suffer through FauxNews is when someone else’s TV is unfortunately tuned into it, or when I watch a link from someplace like CTH. Anymore, I hate to even give them the clicks. Perhaps I should write them again – I guess I’m still a contributing consumer of sorts.

Please don’t read anything snarky into my comment. Dekester is a wonderful Canadian friend here, for whom I have the utmost respect. It was a sincere comment to urge folks to do more than voice endless complaints here.

Thus far, there have already been numerous complaints about the Fox coverage on both this thread, and the Daily Presidential – all saying the same thing. Time and space could have been saved by just “liking” or replying to one comment about the coverage.

What I haven’t seen, is anybody saying that they were so disgusted with FoxNews that they wrote a complaint TO THEM or cancelled their cable. That would be refreshingly different to read. Life goes on just fine without FauxNews. 🙂

Since I was around before tv went to color, it took me awhile to get comfy with cutting the cord. Not as long ago as you, but I cut it when Faux went noticeably left and haven’t regretted it one bit. Cheers to you PJ.

Congrat’s! I’m no prude, but after not having TV this long, whenever I have the misfortune to be somewhere that TV is on I’m shocked at how debased and propagandized it has become. Not just the news, sports, or other programming, but commercials as well.

I stopped watching television around the mid 90’s, and I have experienced what you described as well. I occasionally am over at someone else’s home and watch a show with them. Everything is trying to manipulate your thinking. EVERYTHING. At least the commercials are honest about it, but everything else, the news, the sitcoms, the dramas, everything, is trying to program you. Most people who watch too much TV can’t see it, but after stopping for a few years and then watching again, its like they are hitting you over the head with a 2X4.

We cut the cord three years ago, and now I can’t believe what suckers we were for paying through the nose for cable. Paying for the endless propoganda all steeped in repetitive commercials….what were we thinking? Now, I wake up in the morning and watch a tad of the “over the air” local news, then switch to YouTube where all my favorite subscriptions are waiting. People would be amazed at all the creative and entertaining television awaiting them….and all for FREE.

If you still need your daily dose of FOX news or OAN, you can still find all your favorites (Judge Jeanine, Hannity, etc.) on tape….many live or just recently taped.

We cut the cord completely on 2/14/18. Yes, 2 years without any television. Have we missed it? Nope. We find everything we need to know about anything of importance right here. And we even get to watch JUST the highlights of this and other events without being upset over missing coverage. It’s always right HERE.
          Thank you, Sundance.

Dekester was just venting, and it is nice to see the beautiful Melania and your magnificent President in all their glory, and so frustrating when the MSM repeatedly play games with your President.

We have emailed a Faux on more than one occasion and on numerous occasions contacted RINO anti Trumpers when they are shiving PDJT in the back.

PDJT and Flotus look terrific on our 60” T.V. especially in H.D.

Good for you for contacting Faux – that’s great to hear. Moar, moar!

To be fair, it’s not the “TV” itself which is the problem, but the content. When I cancelled my cable, it felt good to tell them why. Just like the coupists in the swamp, they need to KNOW that we know.

We’ve followed Nascar for years but it’s gotten more and more politically correct. We’ve given up on NBA, NFL, MLB but still watch hockey and the races. Every year we go to the race at Chicagoland Speedway with a group of friends who we only see that weekend. We have a blast with them but we’ve decided this is our last year. Our driver #48 is retiring after this season and so are we (from Nascar).

I’m the same way, I live in Charlotte and in the early 90’s NASCAR was huge, the stands were always full, it was a big part of people’s lives, but they watered the sport down a lot and half the fans abandoned it as a result. As you well know they tore down about half the seats at many tracks!

How come no other President ever put 2 and 2 together and thought “Hey, wouldn’t it be cool to run the People’s Presidential Limo around the track and show it off a little bit? There’s going to be 200,000 Americans there!”

We are so screwed when President Trump leaves office in 2054.

In the interview that Sundance provided in this thread, President Trump said he has been to the Daytona International Speedway four times previously.

Jamie Little, the FOX Sports pit announcer received a confirmation from Trump during the interview that his last visit was in 2001. (Dale Earnhardt died at that track in 2001)

Donald Trump is a real race fan. For example, he presented Team Penske founder and owner Roger Penske the Presidential Medal of Freedom during a ceremony on October 24, 2019 in the Oval Office of the White House.

In addition, which was proven again at this year’s State of the Union, the President understands the optics of using an event to maximize positive value to his re-election campaign.
