Army Announces They Will Not Investigate Lt. Col Alexander Vindman…

President Trump mentioned the likelihood the military would take a look at the conduct of Lt. Col Alexander Vindman in the wake of his leaking classified information to construct a fraudulent whistle-blower complaint with CIA ally Eric Ciaramella.

Today Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy said Vindman will not be investigated for his role in breaching national security protocol, fabricating claims and breaking chain of command.

WASHINGTON DC – The Army will not investigate Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the former National Security Council staffer who testified in the president’s impeachment investigation, the service’s top civilian said Friday.

Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy made the announcement at an event just days after President Donald Trump said he imagined the military would “take a look at” whether Vindman should face disciplinary action for the “horrible things” he told House investigators about the president’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky last July. When we consider that Lt. Col. Vindman was carrying out what he believed to be his role; and when you overlay his military purpose; and when we accept Vindman was assisting CIA agent Eric Ciaramella in constructing his dossier to remove President Trump; and when we stand back and look at the aggregate interests involved; and when we consider there was ZERO push-back from the ranks of military leadership, specifically the Joint Chiefs of Staff; and when you accept Vindman was simply allowed to return to his post inside the White House – where he remains today; well, the alarming aspect increases in direct proportion to the definition of the word: “coup”.

Beyond the debate about the optics of the “coup“, within the testimony of Lt. Col Vindman, the NSC witness readily admits to understanding the officially established policy of the President of The United States (an agreement between President Trump and President Zelenskyy), and stunningly admits that two weeks later he was giving countermanding instructions to his Ukrainian counterpart to ignore President Trump’s policies.

The coup against President Donald Trump went from soft, to hard. Consider…

The testimony from Lt. Col. Vindman is available here. [SCRIBD pdf below]

Borrowing from Roscoe B Davis, here are some highlights:

Representative John Ratcliffe begins deconstructing Lt. Col Vindman, while his arrogant attorneys begin trying to interfere with the questioning.

This next section is very interesting, and very important.

Congressman John Ratcliffe begins questioning Vindman from the perspective of an Article 92 violation {READ IT}, coupled with an Article 88 violation {READ IT}. President Trump, is Lt. Col Vindman’s superior. President Trump sets the foreign policy.

Any commissioned officer who uses contemptuous words against the President, the Vice President, Congress, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of a military department, the Secretary of Homeland Security, or the Governor or legislature of any State, Commonwealth, or possession in which he is on duty or present shall be punished as a court-martial may direct. [Article 88, UCMJ]

Two weeks after President Trump has established an agreement with Ukraine President Zelenskyy, and established the policy direction therein, Lt. Col. Vindman is now giving contrary instructions to the Ukranian government. Vindman’s lawyer recognizes where the questioning is going and goes absolutely bananas:

Never thought i’d say this but, the Pledge of Allegiance should never be said in this country again until the last part “liberty and justice for all” is removed. It’s nothing but a damn lie.

You people really need to get a grip or deeply breath into a paper bag. The little fat man gets court marshalled and the media does exactly what they did to Barr after the Stone ordeal. Let this play a while. Such doom and gloom.

Yes, the prog’s have spent the better part of 100 years marching through our institutions. We are naive to think all we have to do is elect Trump and he’ll clean house. To the Left it is a religion (backed by billionaires). So, keep voting folks, stay alert, don’t be discouraged when little gummy bear Lisa Page spits in your face. At the end of the day (age) it is a spiritual battle and God wins!

The phrase “2 solitudes” has been used to describe serious and permanent divisions in a country caused by ethnic or political differences. The phrase now clearly applies to the USA. The nation is largely divided into 2 political groups that have opposing views of reality and often speak different versions of the English language.

–The elite privileged group, that is never seriously indicted by their DOJ no matter what they do, calls 2-tiered justice fair while the other sub group that supports the President despises the 2-tiered set up because only their side is ever prosecuted.
–The elitists refer to a conspiracy to depose an elected President as an honorable and just Resistance movement against tyranny while the sub group considers it traitorous.
–The elitists see only despair and ruination everywhere caused by a tyrannical despot while the sub group sees unprecedented economic prosperity, record positive job numbers, consumer optimism etc. as the result of a successful and popular President.
–The elite group’s Lawfare legal experts see the IG Report as a “Witch Hunt’ while the sub group considers the Weissmann/Mueller investigation and report to be the actual “Witch Hunt” or the Russian Collusion Hoax Report.

I could go on and on……

It’s why Barr has such a tough job trying to put the blindfold back on the Lady.

Many of the commenters on CTH want the moon and stars and are willing to crucify Barr when they don’t get those things immediately.

“We caught them, we caught them all”

If you trust PDJT, and you trust Nunes, then logically you must trust Barr.

Many calendars chronicle time by days.

Barr’s justice department chronicles time in years and depends on the likes of you to apologize for a person that wants some results at least quarterly.

There is no valid reason on God’s green earth to drop the charges against McCabe.
He lied under oath and on VIDEO (at least 4 times), PERIOD!

There are literally hundreds of similar examples where know criminal actions are shrugged off for no valid reason. Excuses abound but the simple version is that Barr is batting for the other side and you are going to be baffled (once again) when nothing comes of the Durham investigations.

The attempts by anyone trying to justify these actions is akin to taking a blowtorch to the Constitution. But hey, let’s all just trust the plan right? That’ll show em.

That the jury pool would be selected from within D.C. is a very good reason to not continue with legal action against McCabe. To that end, I would expect to see a refiling of charges in a change of venue. That it is a federal case, that venue could be anywhere in the nation, say the most conservative county in the U.S. But I’m not gonna hold my breath.

To rrick, thank you. I was listening to Sebastian Gorka. He and his guest, John Soloman, were saying that if McCabe was tried in a D.C. courtroom he would be found innocent by the jury. When a case can’t be won, you do not proceed with indictment. However, that raised a question in my mind, all of these swamp creatures are in D.C. Does that mean that nobody else will be held accountable because of D.C. jurors? If so, what can we do about it? How can we get any of these cases out of D.C. and in a different venue?

Michaela, you’re welcome. As for what any of us can do, I guess nothing since one, we are not parties in the case, two because it might construe jury tampering. Or maybe I misunderstood your question. Anyway, I am not an attorney so what do I know.

I’ll let the above stand but I just thought of something. We could support an amicus filing. Find which firm or group or org is doing that and support them.

When Sundance first pointed this out I was dismayed as I had thought the military would never be turncoats, but Obama was thorough in corrupting the Gruberment.

The stables Hercules had to clean as part of his heroic tasks returns to my mind. The Potomac river no longer looks to be enough for Trump to use to wash away the DC corruption.

The military had their chance and demonstrated where their loyalties lie. The only way to rectify this situation is to have an exodus (via resignations/terminations) in the hierarchy of military command, including the Joints Chief of Staff, who do not fully support the Commander in Chief and/or currently/previously participated in the coup to illegally remove him.

They are pretty much spelling it out for us and rubbing our noses in the two-tier justice system in this country. Privileged, connected, elite almost always, if not always, get away with their crimes. The same crimes that anyone outside their circle would pay dearly for. All this happening in contrast, juxtaposition with Roger Stone’s sentencing making it even more blatant. What I want to know is where is the outrage? When does it become outright discrimination & persecution when we get tougher sentences and treatment than their elite circle? and why aren’t people out in the streets protesting this blatant hypocrisy and double-standard?

Unless they have an uncommon interest in politics, most people don’t know what is going on with government, other than what they hear from the biased media. Some people I know understand there is “something rotten in the state of Denmark,” but either can’t believe or don’t understand how sinister and dangerous it is to all of us and to the country.

The rest are either too indoctrinated by years of Leftist propaganda saturation or so happily hedonistic in the new Sodom and Gomorrah that they don’t care or fear that we are all in immediate peril.

  14. uptothere says:

Ah yes. The same “I’m going free” scenario being played out one more time in the face of serious crimes being committed. Now Barr is pulling back from prosecutions to “defuse” the rancor and animosities in DC. If I could see actual justice being practiced, my rancor would certainly subside against the total lack of prosecutions.

Actions speak louder than words; find the right people, do everything possible to make elections fair. Follow the school buses around that pick up illegal democrat voters and use your phones to verify their crimes. Congressman Ratcliffe was excellent; find more like him. When did Deplorables ever think this was going to be just a war of words or that it was going to be quick and easy, fought on the pages of a computer? There are coups everywhere; it is 1 man against the world; an entire nation’s children are in grave danger. The decision is the most difficult 1 we will ever make but there is no turning back and we are engaged for the rest of our lives. Be superior; seek the truth; it is life or death.

I think I see a strategy for both Evil and Good in this country:

Lindsey Graham, for all his soft characteristics, seems to be pro military. He was against withdrawal. He was for war.. But he’s good at generating “outrage”. He works for he Military Industrial Complex..

Glenn Beck has a book called “Addicted to Outrage”. He went bat guano crazy for a while and I think into treatment. He had alcohol problems, but in this book basically describes Outrage as something that people can get addicted to.

Like many addictions, it is connected to a basic need for survival:
    Obesity is Food addiction: healthy vs unhealthy eating;
Sex/Porn/Love addiction: Need for connection to people
Power, prestige addiction: need for stability and to be able to stay safe

Our founders set up our government to keep too much power and money out of the hands of too few people. In history, this always turns out bad.

The left uses the media to stir up outrage, fear, guilt, shame. These are emotions that cause us to override common sense or logical thinking because we think we must act now. Outrage/emotions are used by the media, and especially with careful manipulation in social media – to cause division among families and cultures which were the back bone of the USA..

What keeps us together is a common commitment to principles, and resulting Law and Order we framed and agreed on. The left uses outrage to stir up emotions to get us to forsake family, church, respect for authority, relationship to God, commitment to each other.

Rules for Radicals and the Communist Manifesto are destructive forces. They are processes. I don’t know what drives these people, but it is an anti God force.

The God of Israel laid down the 10 commandments, then slowly taught us that it was the heart that matters not the Law — the the Law, was just a guide to matters of the heart — which is where our spirit resides.

The prophets of old, Jesus, the Apostles, and the early church; the current spread of the gospel, the American Revolution, MAGA, and recovery from addiction are all facilitated by the same processes and components: A knowledge base of Truth, A process: submission to God through submission to each other in humility, careful inventory of character, then relationships, then carry the message.

Locking criminals up and winning elections is important, but will not win the war. We must do more. We must restore the Spirit back into America.

    MAGA: Make America Godly Again

We must put sunlight on the effects of evil wherever people are hurting. Show why the poor are poor (enslavement by dependency), the illness to society caused by siphoning and diverting money away fro its intended purposes (all the fraud and abuse), bring the message to the poor, the criminals, the widows, the families of dead victims, the thwarting of what this country used to protect: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness. (fair opportunity that recognizes the value of work). Carry the message of the economic principles and values of Love, benevolence, commitment to greater good. Synergize and make the whole better than the sum of the parts.

This is the call of Socialism, which is why it is so alluring to our youth. The difference is where the power resides. In socialism, the power resides in the ruling wealth redistributors, and it works if the redistributors are benevolent. But history proves this does not work.

In our Republic, the power resides in the people, who elect their representatives, executives, and judges to keep our society ordered by the principles of the Constitution. Its success depends on the goodness of the people. The goodness of the people, depends on their commitment to Truth.

Because he’d be impeached on abuse of power and probably convicted. That wouldn’t be right, but when you have him going against all the general officers and Secretary of Army it would be an easy political case to make that he was persecuting poor little Vindman out of spite.

I think these recent “in your face” developments are designed to get him to react in exactly that type of manner, so they can ramp up another impeachment drive.

    • Mr. T. says:

GW, you can’t just order a branch of the military to court-martial someone. An Article 32 hearing would have to convene, which is similar to a grand jury investigation. If there is probable cause to indict and proceed to a trial, then and only then would there be a court-martial trial. President Trump is right to not go down that road. I suspect that from here on, Vindman will get some pretty crappy assignments and most likely never be promoted to full bird colonel. Going to the War College is like sending someone to empty the trash cans and sweep the floors. He’s had some pretty disturbing performance reviews in the past given by his superiors, so I don’t see him as ever again being given a position like the one he had at the NSC. However, there’s always room for him at CNN after he’s left the military. He’d fit right on with the rest of the snakes and weasels over at that network.

It is starting to look pretty certain that Brennans coup decapitated Trump. The public Shampeachment was a ruse to make people think Trump is still in control. That the US Army Brass tells their C in C to pound sand when he asks them to investigate a Lt. Colonel that told Ukraine to ignore the US Foreign Policy as set by the President. That is unquestionably Insubordination and Sedition. They KNOW Trump is out of power and gleefully told the President to kiss their arse. Trump shut up and took it.

    • Curt says:

I understand your frustration. Trump, however, does not shut up and take anything. Understand, this entire take over of our government by leftists is NOT his fault. Most Americans stood by for the last 30 years while one leftist after another was elected and they stupidly thought this was OK. I’ll point to the rust belt states that voted Democrat for 30 years while their manufacturing jobs were being outsourced. Trump has only been around for a little over 3 years! He has done more than any one man could be humanly be expected to do. We have a country where a non productive homeless person on welfare has exactly the same vote as a productive middle class American. This is an issue… a big one. Most people fall into the low information category and believe the lies they heard the last 30 years. Even with Trump’s success, they still buy into the total crock of Democrat /socialist BS! Sadly, we have a media system almost completely controlled by leftists. Again, this did not happen overnight! We ALL have to bear some of the responsibility. Putting it off on Trump, or any other single person, is nonsense….

Brennan himself is a much bigger prize than Vindman. In politics, you have to pick your battles wisely.

The political blowback from going after Vindman isn’t worth the hassle.
