The real money in “Nation Building” is not the military side of the expenses. The DoD, State Department, UN and NGO’s are used to launder the US tax funds used for all the infrastructure and cultural. Then the kick backs to congressional members and other members of the government begin from parties 2-4 times removed from the actual expenditure.

DoD used to hate these expenditures as these funds count against DoD’s bottom line. Consider that During the years of sequestration under Obama, the DoD was the only Federal agency with a declining budget and budget predicted to continue declining under Clinton. The US Army for Example, lost nearly 25% of its deployable active Brigades during this time but Foreign Commitments did not change to give cover for Nation Building and Aid money packages. The US Armed forces both lost budget to these actions and was being ground to bits by the over commitment.

The State Department manages all the programs and even sets the ROE for the military forces deployed (by law). This highlights all we have learned and discussed about the level of corruption rampant in the State Department, here on CTH. It is the reason Hillary wanted to be Secretary of State under Obama.

The Presidents attempts t withdraw US Military assets removes the reason for these programs to exist.

Keep in mind, the founding fathers had a built in fear of a standing Military. They went to great lengths to put the military under civilian control and the States comprising the Republic repeated that desire in their state level constitutions and/or charters. The notion of ROE is a new concept that previously existed in the context of the “Rules of War” set down by GOVERNMENTS and followed by soldiers for centuries.

The current concept of ROE just continues the constitutionally assigned powers of the government, to control the military. The State Department as the Executive Branches over seer of foreign policy was allocated the authority to set ROE and ensure they conform to US as well as US recognized International Laws/Customs. Technically the President does control ROE via the State Department he appoints but it is done as a civilian and not as a “Military CIC”.

    Excerpt:

Read the whole report, however, and one finds the glaring issue with this conclusion, which is that the administration didn’t have an obligation to release the funds on any specific date in the fiscal year. All they needed to do was to make sure the money got spent by the last day of the budget cycle.

In this case, the money did get spent within the budget year. The aid may not have gone out as quickly as Congress intended or as the administration first planned, but as long as it got spent, there’s no violation. And contra the GAO’s take, delays for non-programmatic reasons don’t violate the ICA as long as it doesn’t go past the same fiscal year as the appropriation.

So there you have it. A big fat nothingburger that is only being hyped by Democrats who hate the president and are looking for anything, no matter how small, to make him look bad. More Trump Derangement Syndrome.

We now stand at the moment in history that America’s first citizens knew would come when they penned the Second Amendment and the Tenth Amendment.

A sitting president is on trial.
    – Evidence planted by the State Police
    – False charges declared by the State Attorney
    – An unconstitutional trial without representation conducted by State Magistrates
    – All pursued within a legal system ruled by complicit State Judges
    – Falsehoods promoted, and truths ignored, by State Press.

What is happening in Virginia at this time, is no coincidence.

This can’t be emphasized enough, laurence paul.

I recently saw a documentary about the Nazi counterfeiting scheme using Jewish slaves who were formerly engravers and printers. The survivors mentioned that the Nazi officers said “We are not criminals. We are the State.”

Nazi Germany tried to counterfeit its way to victory
The Third Reich attempted a number of unconventional plots to win World War II, including counterfeiting U.S. and British currency to destabilize the Allies’ wartime economies.

Not surprisingly, the Nazi plan relied on Jewish slave labor. Operation Bernhard recruited Jewish artists, printers, bankers, and others from concentration camps and pressed them into creating engraving plates and physically counterfeiting money and important documents.

It is not this complicated folks. It is a simple math problem involving the 20-30 year hire to retire cycle of Federal Employees. The non-military professional employees of the Executive Branch are the deep state. Presidents Clinton, Bush II and Obama were able to pack the nearly 2.5 million slots with One World Fascists. Socialism is just a propaganda tool they use to mollify the lemmings with promises they never fully or intend to keep. The current crop of professions were hired by the Carter, Bush II, Obama and Clinton administrations. By suppressing the President Trump’s ability to put his appointees in place, he will not be able to cycle out his share of these professions when their retirement ages arrive.

This is also how they gained control over the Public School System through College Campuses to create the pliant lemmings of the voting public.

FTA – Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is on safe ground following the Clinton precedent about determining whether to call witnesses after the arguments. No witnesses will change the outcome. The prosecution, feeble though it is, has more at risk with witnesses than does the president. The cant and emotionalism that enshrouds this final doomed effort to undo the 2016 election probably require a full trial. The public relations battle must be fought to the end. Then, when it is no longer timely or urgent, the Supreme Court should be asked to clarify whether the Constitution’s enumeration of justifications for impeachment is exhaustive, or only illustrative.

The only other desire i have is for the President’s legal team to demand via motion to Justice Roberts all the testimony collected in secret by the Democrats as it was all done in support of the article presented by the House. Remember, Mitch invoked rules of evidence used in Federal Court, so this evidence needs to be provided for presentation and use in rebuttal by the President’s team.

I am not a lawyer. I know something about the Constitution but very little about Constitutional Law (lawyers always make things more confusing than they ought to be which means you have to have a lawyer to do anything). I know there are attorneys on this board…very good ones…Sundance might even be one. So here is my question/suggestion regarding the “new information” Pelosi Galore and Schumer want to introduce.

From what I understand, the Senate is the “jury” in an impeachment case. That means the House (“prosecution”) has already presented the entirety of its case. I have never heard of the jury in a criminal trial being called back in to hear evidence the prosecutor just scrounged up. Have you? Seems to me the Senate (jury) should make a decision based on the evidence presented by the House (prosecutor) and come to a decision.

If Pelosi Galore and the rest of the Democrats think they have a new case, then so be it. Start a NEW prosecution IN THE HOUSE with the new evidence. If it is compelling enough, come back to the Senate with NEW articles of impeachment and let the Senate hear the NEW case.

This means impeachment would never end, but to think it was ever going to end until Donald Trump is out of office is naive. They will try to impeach him so long as he is in office and they have the power to do so (House). He will be convicted if they have the House and Senate whether he is innocent or not. This is how a paper coup works.

I think Alcoholics Anonymous have a saying “let go and let God”. With Donald Trump’s presidency, we have to do that. The Swamp/Democrats/Globalists/Socialists/Communists/Media are too vast and powerful for us as individuals. God put Donald Trump in office for a reason. We must support him every way we can (send what you can for his reelection), hold our noses and vote for RINOS because we must (unless they’re being primaried by a Trump Republican), but trust in God. He wouldn’t have put Trump in office just to see the Democrats remove him.

    Long post. Sorry.
If any attorneys read this, can you please advise whether my advice (to send all “new” accusations back to the House to investigate) is a valid defense.

No matter how many times Almira Gulch and her winged monkeys Pencil Neck and NoNads use the “No one is above the law” mantra, I continue to be amazed that they remain deaf and dumb over Brennan, Comey and Clapper (aka the 3 Stooges) and ALL the illegal spying they conducted, not only on President Trump, but on hundreds of thousands of Americans who don’t march in lock-step with the Socialist Communist doctrine that they revere.
Debbie Ding-ding said no matter what happens, we need to be able to come together after this proceeding is over. I only hope that every time she is interviewed after removal fails, that she will as forcefully denounce her fellow Democrazies when they throw more and more impeachment inquisitions at the President. Democrazies don’t want fairness, they don’t want equality, all they really want is power, money and control. At the very least, they should be honest and not keep feigning this righteous (now there’s a rich descriptor for any of them or their Lawunfair henchmen) indignation!

You mean Debbie ‘I have no partisan bone in my body’ Dingell? Yea, she doesn’t call in to WJR 760 Detroit anymore because she was questioned about the shampeachment and did not have a good answer why she supports it. TDS ‘orange man bad’ is all they got. I sure hope it comes out in the wash that she is also on the take from Ukraine. ‘Splain your infatuation with impeachment Debbie…. I wouldn’t call Andrew McCarthy ultra far left wing. Moderate maybe. Has a mild case of TDS, but certainly seems to value the ‘rule of law’ over might is right. However he seems to lean towards accepting the letter of the law rather than the spirit of the law, approving of or letting pass without comment crazy interpretations that only Lawfare loves. Also despite his experience prosecuting he is nowhere near as sharp a legal mind as he professes to be. Calling non HJC subpoenas valid, HJC subpoenas the president is challenging valid, etc. I think like many other TDS sufferers he gets selective blindness when it comes down to the law, just not as bad as many other opponents of POTUS (Laurence Tribe comes to mind).

Another Nothing-Burger: OMB Director Blasts GAO Following Outrageous Opinion on President Trump’s Aid to Ukraine
by Jim Hoft January 16, 2020

Earlier today Speaker Pelosi announced that NEW EVIDENCE by the GAO found that President Trump broke the law by not handing over tax-payer dollars to the corrupt Ukrainian government fast enough.

Pelosi made the announcement on Thursday morning during her impeachment briefing.

The Government Accountability Office issued their opinion on Thursday which just happened to be the same day that Democrats would slow walk their sham articles of impeachment over to the US Senate.
    What a coincidence!

For the record… The GAO also accused Barack Obama of breaking the law back in 2014 for swapping 5 Gitmo terrorists for Bowe Bergdahl — but there was no impeachment.

Obama released five deadly Gitmo terrorists for traitor Bergdahl.

Obviously, Barack Obama’s criminal conduct put Americans in danger.
President Trump delayed bombs to Ukraine by a few weeks.

Later today the Director pushed back at this political stunt accusing the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) of a flawed interpretation of the law.

OMB Director Russ Vought pushed back on the GAO opinion.

Director Vought: This GAO opinion comes from the same people who said we couldn’t keep National Parks open during the shutdown. Recently GAO flipped its position twice in the last few months. We wouldn’t be surprised if they reverse again. Regardless, the Admin complied with the law at every step

Once again, the screaming liberal media headlines in the morning become nothing-burgers by bedtime.

  34. Last night someone said they were starting a prayer time, from 10-10:30 pm est/9-9:30 cst/8-8:30mst/7-7:30 pst and suggested people focus on prayer at some point in that time in order to counter the dark forces (my words). So, it was around 10 pm est when I read that, so I thought sure, I can do that. So, I closed my eyes and focused my prayers on PTrump: I surrounded him in light and love; I prayed the prayer of protection; and I ended with a blessing we used to do at the prayer ministry I worked for: “we love you, we bless you, and we behold the Christ in you”.

So when I went to bed last night I ended up having this very long dream about PTrump. He was with me and a group of people, just like a regular friend, and we were just talking, I do not remember anything that was said, but he looked great! Dressed casual…went on and on…guess he heard my prayer and just wanted to say Hi!

So, I highly recommend this prayer time! You never know who might hear your prayers!

    • I don’t know if it has been implemented here in the TreeHouse. Back in Australia we had a prayer chain with prayer warriors. We each committed to praying for a ‘need’ at a certain time of the day (usually an hour) That way we had prayer warriors praying for a certain thing 24 hours a day. Has that been done here?

The case is being for the American voter, not the Senators. (And for ratings). The Senators likely already have their minds made up, as we saw at the Kavanaugh hearings. The fence sitters at that travesty were desperately hoping for Kavanaugh to crack so they wouldn’t have to vote for him and upset the wokers, but Kavanaugh had Trump’s back and stayed firm. The craziness maybe changed one vote.

Starr also opined that Mueller was doing a terrific and professional job on the Russia probe. Nice right?
On the Clinton investigations Starr change the focus from Foster’s death and the Whitewater fraud to perjury, “the definition of is”. Impeccable right?

Sen. Rand Paul Joins Hannity to Sound the Alarm! GOP Snakes in Senate May Block Trump’s Witnesses in Impeachment Trial (VIDEO)
Avatar by Cassandra Fairbanks January 16, 2020

Senator Rand Paul is continuing to sound the alarm about the possibility of some of his Republican colleagues voting to allow only the witnesses called by Democrats during the impeachment trial.
Appearing on Hannity on Thursday evening, Sen. Paul reiterated much of what he told The Gateway Pundit on Wednesday about his fear that Democrats will be able to block witnesses that aren’t hostile towards President Trump.

Sen. Paul discussed Hunter Biden’s $50,000 a month salary from the Ukrainian gas company Burisma and said it “smells to high heaven, smells like corruption.”

“I’ll tell you what my fear is, some Republicans are going to vote for witnesses, and we’ll get those — the ones that Democrats want. Then when we have the votes on bringing witnesses, or letting the president choose his witnesses — I think those will fail. Not only because of those Republicans, but because a whole variety of Republicans may not allow the whistleblower, may not allow Biden for one reason or another, because they served with him” Sen. Paul explained.

Sen. Paul once again warned that if the Republican base sees that only Democrat witnesses are being called, they will “punish those people who set up that kind of scenario.”

Host Sean Hannity interjected and said that he personally cannot support any Republican who votes in a way that will allow the Democrat to control witnesses.

“If it looks like a kangaroo court, the Republican base is going to be very very unhappy,” Sen. Paul agreed.

Speaking to TGP on Wednesday, Sen. Paul, who has seemingly been leading the charge to defend the president during this process, also explained that he would vote for Rep. Adam Schiff and Speaker Nancy Pelosi to have to testify, especially since Schiff has a staff member who is friends with the whistleblower — potentially making him a material witness.

“There’s a lot of people who are quiet, so I’ve been kind of loud,” Sen. Paul said. “My goal in this is to be done with the impeachment as soon as possible, and probably the best way to do that is actually no witnesses — but, if we’re going to have witnesses we should have witnesses from both sides.

In our interview, Sen. Paul warned that his Republican colleagues may be in trouble when they go up for re-election if they defy the president and allow Democrats to run amok, like they did in the House.

“What I keep trying to convince my colleagues, particularly the ones that might vote to allow the witnesses that the Democrats want to call, is that if they do that and they don’t vote to allow the president to bring his witnesses in, I think the Republican base and Trump supporters are going to be very very unhappy with them. I think it will have electoral consequences — which is sort of my way of saying that maybe they should reconsider having any witnesses at all,” Sen. Paul said. “My hope is some will reconsider and we will just be done with one vote.”

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said that each witness will have to be approved by a majority of 51 senators — something unlikely to work in Trump’s favor. This had lead to Sen. Paul raising an alarm that only those who hate the president will obtain the necessary majority vote.

Sen. Paul explained that if there does end up being a vote for each individual witness, which could potentially be dozens, he believes that only the ones who are antagonistic to the president will get through. This means that “Hunter Biden, Joe Biden and the whistleblower may not pass a majority vote.” He said that if this is how witnesses are decided, the senate will end up with a situation like the House did — a lopsided witness list that would be mostly people hostile to the president.

“This is a big deal, I don’t usually lecture my colleagues, but they need to understand that they cannot win an election if they become estranged from the Trump base or Republican base of the party,” he said.

The thing about the Republican base being upset is they do not switch their votes as much as just stay home on election day. The sad truth is most of us will do just as well economically under a democrat regime as we will a Republican Administration. I have been doing the math on a monthly basis for the last 8 years. As long as we are not screwed with it doesn’t matter who is in charge. Plus, the Republican base is Nationally and State wide in most instances part of a shrinking minority. The reason many vote “Republican” transcends economics and this impeachment trial is attacking that reason to even support the RNC as “the better of two bad choices”.

The RNC willfully or intentionally ignores the fact that President Trump was elected on crossover votes and this will alienate the crossover vote from ever even considering a Republican candidate at any level of election.

EXCLUSIVE: Crime Does Pay – FBI Hiding Dirty Cop Joe Pientka (Who Set Up General Flynn) and His Wife (Connected to Trump Tower Meeting) — BUT WE FOUND HIM
by Joe Hoft January 17, 202

Dirty cop Joe Pientka whose is reportedly still at the FBI, and his wife, who we have uncovered is connected to the Trump Tower meeting, are living high on the hog with houses on both the East and West Coasts.
Joe was involved with everything corrupt involving the the Russia Collusion Hoax and his wife is an attorney for a company involved with Fusion GPS. The FBI is hiding them to this day.
The FBI has done all it can to hide Joe Pientka, the corrupt cop at the FBI involved most all the criminal activities involving the coup of candidate and President Trump. This corrupt cop was involved in everything and the FBI is hiding him. We have identified multiple reasons why.

Joe Pientka was a very key player in the Crossfire Hurrican and Mueller gangs created based on fraudulent information. We have pages on Pientka in a previous post: “The Many Corrupt and Criminal Actions FBI Agent Joe Pientka Involved in – Including Setting Up General Flynn – Yet Pientka Still Protected by FBI“.

    Overall Pientka was:

    Supervisor of Crossfire Hurricane.
The Crossfire Hurricane team members were selected by Peter Strzok, the Intel Section Chief, and Pientka.
    The agents reported to Pientka.
Pientka reported operational activities to Strzok.
Pientka and Strzok entrapped General Flynn in the White House and lied about Flynn’s lying to the FBI
Pientka was a member of the Crossfire Hurricane gang that was running the sham Trump Russia collusion investigation. He shows in charts of the Crossfire Hurricane gang in 2016:

But then he mysteriously drops off in January 2017:

We don’t know why Peintka is not showing in the later organization chart but we believe it has to do with the fraudulent and now missing 302’s that were filed about Pientka and Strzok’s meeting with General Flynn.

We do now know that Pientka moved from the East to West Coasts in the summer of 2019. He is still at the FBI!
