    In THREE words.

J.O.B.S. is a nine letter word.

    • Mike Robinson says:

Several problems stare anyone in the face about that list:

      (1) “Abuse of power” as per, say, Wikipedia, indicates a wrongful or illegal act, not merely an official act within a person’s lawful realm of authority that you just don’t like.

      (2) Fact? The transcript is fact. You’re spouting fiction.

      (3) The President does not serve at the pleasure of Congress.

    • About “abuse of power”?

Yeah, because President Trump had already “abused power” as soon as he was elected and before he was even inaugurated when they first began talking about getting rid of him via impeachment.

And the “Fact versus fiction” – funny, we can agree it is about that. This only works for them through their consistent use of projection. Projection. (Schiff’s entire Opening was a great example of blind projection.)

It’s amazing how “entitled” and how “smart” the Farkas’s of the world think they are, they were given the illusion of being powerful because of incompetent Obama who just let the administrative state do what they wanted for 8-years.

Question? Is there something in that first transcript that POTUS
wants to release it? They haven;t asked for it or demanded it?
Does is contradict something? And why wait till after the hearings?
No one on the other side seems to worried at this point about it
release at least not that I have heard. So..what is the purpose?

How could the Dems NOT know what’s in it? They clearly have spies and moles spread deeply throughout the whole damn government apparatus. Now that partisanship has replaced honor and patriotism, I don’t think it is possible to ever clean the government.

There is no longer any reasonable expectation of privacy in any communications, except via trusted couriers (family, Rudy…).

    • Wouldn’t it be hilarious if in the first call, Zelensky says something like, Mr. President, if I don’t make the public statement, will you still release the aid? And Trump says, of course not. Do what you think is right. I feel you should probably look into these matters, but I would never hold up much needed aid for your country because of it.

The impeachment hearings today are really a fake made for television event. That’s why all the networks are preempting their programming.

The secret hearings were the auditions. The actors were given a script, the questions asked and answers given, they ran through their lines. Only the actors approved by Schiff for brains were chosen for the production. The lawfare lawyers and the defense lawyers have since then been tightening the script, questions and answers for maximum effect.

Any question by republicans that are not in the script will be stopped by Schiff or the defense lawyers. When he calls a republican question out of order, he is saying CUT just like a tv taping.

Will be interesting how many times the actors/witnesses have to refer to the script during questioning.

Extensive preparation (especially of witnesses who have trouble “remembering” the facts……ahem haven’t adequately memorized their prepped testimony) can sometimes prove problematic in court and lead to substantiation of “coaching the witness” allegations

Ms. Ginsberg is very near to the end of her (very honorable) “tenure on this mortal coil,” and it frankly pains me to watch her … dying. She needs to retire from the bench now, not fall over dead while sitting at it. She has served her country wisely and well, but death comes to us all.

They are saying that it is a “stomach flu”…my personal opinion is that her cancer has returned (if it was ever even gone) and the end is near. If the Ds have known this for a little while this whole impeachment circus takes on a new light. They HAVE to have some kind of investigation going on so that they can prevent the President from naming another Justice to SCOTUS. It will all be in McConnell’s hands if push comes to shove…

      Liked by 2 people

      • jrapdx says:

Could be a Democrat strategic mistake. McConnell has been, if nothing else, extremely supportive of loading the judiciary with conservative jurists. When RBG passes on, true to established pattern, McConnell will look upon it as a grand opportunity to put another constitutionalist on SCOTUS.

Would be amusing, and mind-blowing for leftists, if McConnell decides to consider the SC position BEFORE handling the faux impeachment case. Yeah, I know that’s a silly pipe-dream, but after all, we’re entitled to be “dreamers”…

      The Justice’s ongoing health issues combined with the impeachment inquiry show indicate that show may be all about tying up the President’s ability to replace her when she passes away, should that happen before the 2020 election;

trying to create a plausible story line to the effect that it’s an election year, this President is under their “cloud” of impeachable offense ideas so therefore no nominations to replace her should happen.

Or some such theory may be what is behind this Democrat tv show.they’re calling an inquiry.

Lara Trump is scheduled to give a speech tonight at her Alma Mater, NC State University, a once conservative and hopefully may still be an outstanding educational university aside from the liberal stance it seems to have taken.

There is a student protest occurring about her attendance because of her “racist, etc. speech.” Hopefully tonight she can give her speech which we all know will be wonderful.

So, Ginsburg. I have an eerie feeling the end is nigh. I looked for info about her appearance yesterday. She was actually present for the DACA arguments. Clearly losing it:

And Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is the first to interrupt Mr. Francisco. She points out what she sees as a contradiction: the administration is at once arguing it had the discretion to end DACA and, at the same time, arguing it had no choice to end the policy because it thought the policy was unlawful. Which is it? Mr. Francisco replied that the administration had put forward both valid legal and policy reasons for ending the policy.

This so-called brilliant legal mind can’t imagine that two reasons can be simultaneously valid. And two is probably better than just one.

I would like to see POTUS announce the following and start implementing it IMMEDIATELY:

    (1) Reduce the State Department quickly from 70,000 employees to 7000 (90% reduction);

    (2) Eliminate 98% of the Bureaus, etc that are part of the organization. Just take a look at Wikipedia. Even this sophisticated crowd will be staggered at the number of worthless, highly politicized, silly bureaucracies that have been created over the years.

    (3) The ulitmate goal should be to have the Secretary of State, with no “deputies” or “undersecretaries” or “assiant deputy undersecretaries,” etc. The staff under the SOS should consist of Ambassadors and their small staffs in the comparatively small number of countries where we ought to have embassies at all.

    (4) The entire organization should be devoted to pursuing and implementing the foreign policy of the President of the United States, with the total employee court ultimately down to about 700 (99% reduction from current levels).

I agree that this should extend to the bulk of the federal government. Recent developments make be think that gutting the State Department might appear particularly appealing to President Trump, and therefore within the realm of possibility.

We keep calling it an “embarrassment.” But who is being embarrassed? The democrats certainly aren’t. The savages we’re fighting are no more capable of being embarrassed than a vulture is mortified by dead meat. Are decent Americans being embarrassed? If so, that’s another reason why we’re losing. At this stage of the struggle for our country, embarrassment is ludicrous. In fact, it’s embarrassing.

Officials have blamed the blasts — up from 39 at the same time last year — on criminal gangs. The explosions have spread to Denmark, where at least 13 have occurred in Copenhagen this year, although the police have not linked them all to Sweden.”

  38. I am a bit confused here……The FIRST phone call that President Trump is referring to and that has not been released yet??? How is it that the ‘tale tellers’ heard about the last phone call (that all this BS is about) but not the first? President Trump seems to me to be holding a “Trump” card with the FIRST phone call…..(he sure is acting like it) . I mean, how can that no account Vindman have heard the second call and not the first? Isn’t that his job? Is it possible that the FIRST call transcript is going to shoot these twits down in flames? ( we can only hope)
