But you’re recording and publicizing your protests using cell phones and tablets that were charged-up this morning with … electricity … before you … drove … to the place where the protest was being held. It never occurred to you that the lights wouldn’t be on at your house, nor that the gas station’s tanks would be empty, or that the restaurant where you stopped for coffee and a muffin wouldn’t have any food, because this never happens. And you obviously know absolutely nothing about how and why this is so. Your cell phone is at one end of that wire … what, exactly, is at the other end, and what keeps that generator turning? What processes produce your food and fuel? You have no idea that this is why your noble efforts to “save the planet, according to you” are nonsense.

You aren’t getting the message being sent by the cultural marxist climate crisis overlords.

You will not have most of those things – car, coffee, tablet computer, restaurants, meat, etc. You will have your 1 soy muffin, morning water allocation and a “smart phone” supplied by the “green new deal party” (AKA communist party).

The phone is for big brother to feed you your daily marching orders and keep constant audio and video surveillance upon you, monitored 24/7 by artificial intelligence for signs of free thinking and disloyalty to the party. It will be a crime to not have your phone charged and on 24/7, especially during sex. Sex without the cellphone getting a video of the act will be punishable by death.

Far fetched? No, if they manage to disarm We the People, this will be science fact, not science fiction.

        • Whups… there won’t be any soybeans, the (electrically powered) water pumps and water treatment plants won’t be running, and your smart-phone will be dead. (The only thing left to you will be smoke signals.)

Seriously – “this is nonsense, and nothing more.” Especially in these days and times, it takes absolutely nothing to grab a headline. And, apparently, it takes nothing more to “get people ‘all riled up,'” which just might be the beginning and the ending of what these people hope to accomplish. Well, “I’m an actual voter,” and I only vote for … and, pay attention to … those who have actual plans, and credible(!) proposals for their real-world implementation “in a nation of more than 350 million people, ‘from sea to shining sea.'”

Whether we’re talking about health care or the greens, the bottom line for me is simply that I cannot take anything seriously. I wish I could. “I seriously expect that I should be entitled to expect to,” given that these people are supposedly auditioning for the highest positions of leadership within my country’s government. But the only thing that I hear is a waste of time … and(!) a waste of tens of thousands of other people’s time. “Goody for you” that you briefly persuaded them to carry signs for you – “so what?” You just missed your cue. You were supposed to have just now done something that would produce an actual baby.

          • P.S.: “Just in case you missed it, the problems that you pretend to be addressing are hard … damned hard.” If they were easy, they would have been solved a hundred years ago if not sooner. The actual legislative processes that will be necessary to do anything whatsoever of any lasting value to anyone will not be easy. And everything that I see from these flower-eyed idiots is that they have not the faintest notion of what I am talking about . . .

“If governing a nation was really that easy, we wouldn’t need a government at all.”

These gullible youngsters are on a Day Off From School. Bought and paid for by our public school taxes. An entire generation of misinformed children taught by socialist zealots.

I no longer think that I have any idea what the leaders of that organization are thinking, nor trying to do. I cannot consider any of their so-called candidates as remotely qualified to receive my vote, or the offices which they seek to gain. And this bothers me, really, because in the past I have voted Republican, Democratic, Libertarian and Independent. I really think that the Democrats “have ‘lost it,'” but that they don’t even realize nor accept that this is happening to them.

The Boomers both Dems and Republicans Independents will not be voting much longer and we have allowed this insanity to grow and rob our childrens minds. Always believing they would grow out of it. But the indoctrination is constant and reinforced by every direction. We Boomers are going to have to get off our collective Butts and be proactive instead of whining and hoping……hasn’t worked at all ..Hell we can’t even get justice served for the most extreme corruption in our history as a nation. We have the numbers and we pay the majority of the taxes despite the big 1% lie. 1% pay as little as possible if any…..just ask GE. We have the numbers just need organization and the will. I sure hope we can before they get back into power and start confiscating everything……Got that cute little SS statement in the mail……gonna get the most SS allows with small increases in 5 years . What they dont tell you ….besides it will be reduced in 2035 down to 80% ….is that your contribution to medicare and cost of supplemental and inflation will gooble up that check so fast it will make your head spin. Nor do they tell you dont dare need over 3 months care in a rehab/nursing facility cause you will be own your own. Medicare will not even pay for breathing assistance. You will then spend down all your savings to qualify for medicaid. We have no protection from our government…..not only did they make it impossible for people to have decent job to save because they allowed all our jobs to go overseas, but they prop up banks, illegals, H1B’s at our expense, thanks to their policies. All the while telling us it is on us cause we use too much money and live too long…..Did I mention them not controlling Big Pharma or Medical billing and they let them get out of control to pay for third world bills. Lets not forget Sundance explaining the cost of our food and how it is set, while taxpayers fund low wages for walmart employees with Food stamps. Yes downright depressing and very stupid on our part to have allowed this whole setup and fleecing of Americas Middle Class.

While I agree that the looney left/dangerous dems/anti Hillary vote was an important part of why he won, President Trump doing bold, independent, anti PC, anti media/global narrative/preplanned agenda is also a Big part of why he won!

He refuses to play along in the alt leftist/globalist reality attempted to be foisted on us. He is the brave man standing up to the powers that be screaming out the the “king”/globalism has No clothes…it’s all a fake.

His win in ’16 was due to as many voters who were positively motivated voting For something, as those negatively motivated, those voting against something. ’20 will be an even bigger victory and even more positively motivated!

So, when I see him ignoring man made climate change hysteria (fake reality pushed by globalists/uniparty and something I am against) and instead focusing on religious persecution (real, ignored by gobalists and something I am for) I think Stuff like THIS is powerful, real leadership, what real people want and Why President Trump WILL win BIGLY in 2020!!!!

Remember, what Trey Gowdy said on Fox News recently – I don’t believe Comey will not be prosecuted.

Are these comments suggesting that Comey will not be charged for spying on President Trump and his campaign?

Democrat Lawmaker Defends Obama Admin’s Spying on Trump Campaign during Committee Hearing
by Jim Hoft September 20, 2019

Rep. John Ratcliffe, the Texas Republican who withdrew from consideration as the director of national intelligence earlier this year, said he disagreed.

“I’ll just leave it at the inspector general has written a report and we’ll see who’s right and we’ll see who’s wrong,” Ratcliffe said. “And I’m afraid, unfortunately, that the inspector general is going to find that folks on my side of the aisle are right that FISA procedures were abused and were not followed and will offer recommendations to correct that. But again, we’ll see.”

Every time I listen to Gowdy on the Comey stuff, I am baffled as he NEVER addresses the criminality of Comey’s acts, Comey’s part in a cabal that tried to criminally and politically FRAME Donald Trump

He minimizes this to the point that I believe he’s covering his own ass.

If Comey tried to frame some innocent citizen for the mass murders in Las Vegas, would his firing be more than enough for Gowdy?

        Something’s wrong here, very wrong

The FISA abuse was not simply incompetence: it existed for the purpose of FRAMING someone and to make matters worse, it was done by government employees who hold tremendous power.

It sickens me that neither Hannity nor Hemmer invites on a legal mind to question Gowdy about his position on this issue.

I see a long list of possible defences for Comey and his gang to FISA abuse: enough for plausible deniability, a smoke screen.

          1. Steele lied to us! (They knew, I know..)

          2. Nicholas Kristof, and many other journalists, misled us! (Kristof got his info from Steele.
But Kristof has 2 Pulitzers, that impresses the Left. The other journalists, in many cases,
got their fake news from the FBI!)

          3. Carter Page worked for us, we had his permission to tap his phone, its no different from
a cop wearing a wire. (I’m afraid this one may be the back-breaker for people who
expected FISA abuse to be a wellspring of criminal charges.)

          4. The FISA warrant was redundant; we had many other sources of the same info. (We
know the names of 3 FBI spies inside the Trump White House; no doubt there were
many more spies/informants yet to be identified. The Susan Gordon/Resistance types
          were legion.)

          5. The Rosenstein “I just work here” defence. A subordinate told him the paperwork was
in order, so he signed the FISA warrant application. (Pathetic, but probably routine stuff
          inside the bureaucracy.)

          6. Paradoxically, they got nothing from the FISA warrant, no charges resulted, so no harm,
no foul. (Flynn and PapaD were framed for lying directly to the FBI; Manafort and Gates
were convicted on info the Justice Department had been sitting on for years, or info
supplied by the Ukraine. That Ukrainian angle re-emerges, of course.)

I’m sure many other excuses could be generated. Some of the lawyers here have posited legalistic reasons the FISA warrant was required. Let them pipe in..

I, too, am concerned about Judge Amy Coney Barrett because having ideologues on the bench is what has caused most of the problems in our country over the last half century. The fact that she could be a more “conservative” ideologue does not reassure me! Our justice system is supposed to be based solely on the laws established in the Constitution, nothing more and nothing less.

And for anyone who thinks it would a good thing to have someone on SCOTUS who will allow their religious doctrine to affect their rulings, ask yourself if you would feel the same way about a devout Muslim?!

IMHO, the creation of the Office of Faith Based Initiatives was the biggest boondoggle that George W Bush gave us – and MANY Christians cheered its creation because it would give churches/parachurch organizations a place at the giant feeding trough that is the US Treasury. Zantac Has Low Levels of a Cancer-Causing Chemical, the F.D.A. Says
The chemical, NDMA, is the same one found in the blood pressure drug valsartan, which led to widespread recalls last year.
        Sept. 13, 2019

The Food and Drug Administration said on Friday that it had detected low levels of a cancer-causing contaminant in samples of heartburn medicines containing the drug commonly known as Zantac.

It was advising patients who take over-the-counter versions to consider switching to a different medication.

The contaminant, a type of nitrosamine called N-nitrosodimethylamine, or NDMA, is the same one that was found in some versions of valsartan, a blood-pressure drug carrying the brand name Diovan. The discovery of NDMA in valsartan led to several recalls of the commonly prescribed drug, which in turn led to supply shortages.

The valsartan recalls have renewed questions about the safety of the American drug supply, particularly of generic drugs, composed of raw ingredients that are *******frequently manufactured in countries like China and where F.D.A. oversight has lagged.********

A newly declassified opinion shows FISA court “oversight” in the face of egregious, unconstitutional and potentially criminal government misconduct means nothing.

Last week, thanks to the Electronic Frontier Foundation’s excellent FOIA work, we got the gift of a newly declassified 2011 FISA court opinion. The opinion finds that the government misled the FISA court for over three years about the details of its illegal and unconstitutional surveillance programs. These lies hid from the court the fact that every year, the NSA is collecting at least 56,000 emails – and possibly many more — between innocent Americans who have no foreign connections and are suspected of no crimes. That’s bad, but the worst part of it is, when the government’s lies were finally exposed the FISA court demanded … that NSA analysts read our private messages right away, so they can be used or deleted more quickly. In other words, the government got not a slap on the wrist, but a pat on the back.

This was the third lie in less than three years that the FISA court had learned about. The judge described one such pattern of lying in Footnote 14 of this newly declassified opinion. There, the clearly outraged judge said the NSA had misrepresented so frequently and systematically how it conducted its program to collect and query Americans’ phone call records that the agency had utterly subverted the Court-mandated oversight regime for that program.

So what did the court do when it found out it had been lied to, that purely domestic communications were fair game, that untold numbers of innocent people were being illegally spied on, and that all the safeguards in place needed to be rethought?

Nothing, really. The court suggested the NSA should train its analysts to notice when their queries turned up an MCT – i.e., an Internet transaction containing multiple messages — and then to look carefully at all the by-catch. If existing procedures allowed them to use anything in those purely domestic messages that they were never supposed to have collected in the first place, great! Otherwise, only after collection and review, should the information be deleted. The NSA adopted this approach, and continues to blithely collect Internet transactions containing wholly domestic communications between innocent Americans to this day.

So in the face of illegal, unconstitutional and potentially criminal conduct — conduct about which the NSA repeatedly lied to the FISA court — the FISA court “corrected” the problem by requiring … banner warnings that something might be an MCT, and an extra round of review by NSA analysts. The real problem – that the NSA regularly collects Americans’ most private communications that the law does not permit it to collect and lies about it to the FISA court – was simply waved away.

    • The Nixon-era FISA process has quite clearly “completely failed” in its stated purposes, and we should indeed immediately go back to what we had before: the prerogatives (and personal responsibility) of The President. It is now patently obvious that “minions” can easily manipulate what is presented to the Court, and that many of the Judges of that Court do nothing more than rubber-stamp requests that are direct violations of the Constitution’s “search and seizure” provisions. Much of this apparently being made possible by secrecy.

I would go farther and say that the PATRIOT Act should be scrapped, as well. I’ve never been able to reconcile the fact that it “already existed, ready to sign, although being hundreds of pages long” mere days after 9/11. No one can write text that fast. Perversely, in its supposed mission to “protect” the country, it has in fact exposed our country to new and novel forms of grievous danger. As we continue to “peel the onion” about the Trump coup and other things, we see first-hand how this is so.

Evidence Suggests Kamala Harris and Cory Booker May Be Allegedly In On The Jussie Smollett Hate Hoax Crime— Senators Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Kamala Harris (D-CA) held a number of conversations with Jussie Smollett about wanting him to support a bill they sponsored called the Justice for Victims of Lynching Act, and they wanted Smollett to help them generate public support for the bill to start forward momentum to get the bill passed.
These conversations took place between December 21st and January 23rd, which leads us to believe that the death threat letter that Jussie sent to himself and the hate hoax attack that he staged on himself were timed to create a public outcry that the two Democrats would use to garner support for the bill, and the publicity would help all three professionally.

They have been responsible for lung damage commensurate with a “three packs a day lifetime smoker” with young people in a matter of a couple of years. They literally “main-line” nicotine, and other chemicals, directly into lung tissue … killing it. They are far, far more dangerous than cigarettes. This is the truth that the industry doesn’t want you to see.

If they have family or children, they’re deciding for the children and spouses who will have to live without them or live very differently if they’re permanently impaired. If they have jobs, they decide for the employers, colleagues and customers who depended on them. The idea that our individual choices have no effect whatsoever on anyone else and therefore we should do as we please is an idea I think we all should think harder about. It’s just not really true.

I always find it amusing that alcohol wreaks havoc on society, and is a mind altering substance that kills other people, not just the user, and no one bans it. Of course they tried with Prohibition and unlike Roe v Wade which has already killed almost 100 million in the U.S. since it became law it’s still going to he death rate of 800,000 a year, it was repealed.

Interesting lead article at AmericanThinker, this am, about the “National Red Letter law” debates currently going on in the House (where, remember all ligislation must originate(.

I am not in favor, AT ALL. That said, the article indicates this National legislation will “ENCOURAGE” States to ‘adopt’ Red letter laws, not mandate.
I assume this, would be SOMETHING like the National Gun-Free School Zone law, which allows States to opt out, and leave it up to individual School districts.
Utah and Texas have taken that opt out option, I believe.
Never the less, the rationale for the Fed Government adopting the GFSZ law, was the “interstate commerce clause” of the 10th amendment. A clear overreach which unfortunately no one wanted to contest to SCOTUS, IIRC.
Anyway, it would presumably put some Federal guidelines on how States could write and enforce such State red letter laws. Such guidelines could legitimately spell out due process considerations the,States would HAVE to include.
Since 10-15 (?) States already HAVE such laws, this could actually have the effect of limiting rather than expanding these states ability to sieze guns.

Secondly, according to the author of the, article, Republicans introduced an amendment that would include all known gang members. Apperently police departments keep lists of “known gang members” in places like S.Chicago and Baltimore, have strict rules on how names get put in the list.
    Anyway, Dems rejected the Amendment.

I would prefer a National law or SCOTUS ruling stating that ANY “Red letter law” is inherently Unconstitutional, but,..
    “We’ll see what happens”.

    • “Red Letter Laws” are one of those ideas that might sound appealing on paper, until you try to implement them and are forced to deal with the abuses and tyranny. They pre-suppose that you somehow possess absolute advance knowledge of “who is a threat to society.” But this premise of course cannot be realized. So, it simply becomes a way to take guns away … and then, where do those confiscated guns go? If the stated justification for the law’s existence is something that society cannot actually do, then the law collapses. And, if society actually could do such a thing, there would be no need for these laws. “Nice idea, maybe. Won’t work.”

WTF! If they (the PERSON) ARE deemed a threat, why invthe heck would you leave them free in society, to go to their kitchen and get a meat cleaver and a,12″ butcher knife, or out to their garage to get an ax and machete, get in their CAR, drive around till they see a crowd, drive INTO the crowd, and then lay about them with gusto/blood lust?
If the PERSON is the danger, incarcerate the PERSON. Which we already have laws for.

Agree its a trojan horse, camels nose under the tent, and b.s.
I merely posted the comment, to point out what they are doing.

“Freedom of peaceful assembly, sometimes used interchangeably with the freedom of association, is the individual right or ability of people to come together and collectively express, promote, pursue, and defend their collective or shared ideas. You’d better get it straight that it’s not a bunch of boy scouts you’re up against… We’re after power and we mean it… There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What’s there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that’s the system, Mr. Reardon, that’s the game, and once you understand it, you’ll be much easier to deal with.”

Many of these people do not “take home” even minimum wage, because – since they are not “citizens” and never will be so – wage laws do not apply to them. Many “owe their soul to the comp’ny store” because “expenses” are taken from their paychecks – at whatever price their handlers care to invent. No one in American government is actually looking out for any of these people at all. Like every other manifestation of “The Peculiar Institution,™” there are none so blind.

But also – there are no background checks. It would therefore be effortless for terrorist organizations to slip source-code into a critical computer program and never be detected doing it because only these non-immigrants are left in the work force. It’s only a matter of time before we discover source code sabotage being used as a deadly weapon.
