Thank you for the great prayer for today (as always). I like the addition of prayers for drug addicts to the list. It echoes what I heard tonight from the lips of the first prisoner released under First Step Act–Matthew Charles–who credited his acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior for his turnaround while in prison.

Praise God for that powerful witness! and for healing Mr. Charles and so many others in prison.

Also, TY to SD, Menagerie and AdRem!!! 🙂

That He will confuse, cause disarray, expose their plans, and that their names, organizations, etc., will be revealed to those that support the President. That the simple minded hordes who support his enemies, and ours, will have their hearts, minds, eyes and ears opened to see themselves as being used, expose their crimes, seek repentance and divine justice be done.

The maps our beloved President Trump held up during the media scrum on the lawn were absolutely amazing. I am not sure if President Trump reviews any websites, but I just know that he has already a place in history as one of our greatest Presidents at a time when our nation was in peril. His ability to take on the world is a miracle itself and I hope he knows he has an ARMY of patriotic Americans behind him supporting him 1000%.

JE Dyer has thoughts about this…and the impact on Iran, and its desire to have a land bridge so as to directly oversee Israel. Oh, and she throws in a little 3-D chess along the way about how Trump has played this.

We may always have to wonder if Trump made sure the final push in eastern Syria remained off the front pages by tweeting in December 2018 that he intended an abrupt, complete pullout from Syria. The tweet certainly diverted the public debate on Syrian topics away from the local battlefield, and toward Trump’s intemperate, irresponsible jumpiness.

Since December 2018, the public declarations of U.S. senators and experts in the punditry have seemed to back Trump into a modified position of keeping a force of some 1,000 troops in Syria, instead of pulling out altogether. The interesting thing is that this effect was produced by a lot of other people arguing for that policy, even without a new authorization from Congress for the use of military force (AUMF).

Trump would have had a lot of blowback trying to make his own argument for keeping troops in Syria without a new AUMF – the instrument putatively needed to justify a continuing presence after the defeat of ISIS. There was little chance, if he wrote the script, of his getting a new AUMF from a hostile, Democrat-led House of Representatives.

But now he has consensus buy-in – shaped by the demands of his critics – for 1,000 troops to support holding the center of Iran’s land bridge pathway.

He had that first. Then U.S. armed forces and the coalition delivered the ISIS territorial roll-up that culminated in blocking Iran’s land bridge. Now our coalition holds key terrain at the border crossing, at least to the extent that Iran is not in control of it.

Then Trump capped it all by announcing that the U.S. would recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights…..
With U.S. recognition of Israeli sovereignty in the Golan, the vector of geomilitary momentum will shift significantly. The consequences for the radical regime in Iran are likely to be bigger than we imagine today.

      • Stats guy,
Thank you for posting this article. The view of the strategy to defeat Isis, and contain Iran, presented there is illuminating.

This quote from the linked article is really interesting as POTUS visited the Al Asad airbase on his visit to Iraq in December 2016.

“(the U.S.) increased the profile and operating posture of our coalition forces at the Al Asad Air Base outpost in Anbar Province in Iraq.
The last point is as vital as the others, because our presence and intent to operate between Al Asad and the Syrian border meant that Iran’s Shia militia proxies, which had been surged to the border for the fight around Deir-ez-Zor, did not have a decisive military advantage in western Iraq. They didn’t own Anbar Province outright. With an operationally significant coalition presence in the area, we held an implicit veto over whatever Iran might want to try.”

Yet another example of the well crafted and deep strategy pursued by the Trump Administration. So contrary to the constant nonsense from MSM that POTUS and his team are impulsive, not in control, etc. etc.

This is a black mark on all American colleges and universities. For the President of the United States to have to put an executive order in place to ensure the First Amendment to the Constitution on a college campus, the premier safe place of ideas and learning, is a stunning example of what our education systems have become. We can turn it around, but Americans must recognize the devastation created by the left’s ideology and the devastation it results in.

At the midnight hour, OANN interviewed a representative from the Middle Eastern Women’s Coalition (working agains anti-semitism and Sharia), Christiani Allen, who made a very valid point.

Judge Jeanine’s producers knew what she was going to say, and instead of advising against her quesrion, they let her run with this and loaded the teleprompter. So were the producer’s caught off guard, or were they part of a frame job? The interviewer seemed to imply that there were some leaks about what Pirro was going to say beforehand.

Unless our country recognize the threat that Islam poses to the working of this great nation, the complicit media will work hand in glove with them and project their bigotry on this nation as a whole. That same implied “bigotry” and MSM got 0bama elected.

Look at India for example that has “minority” Muslim population and yet their politicians have allowed two laws – e.g. one for Muslims (allowing them to marry and have 4 wives) and one for the rest (can marry one woman). Even their divorce system is applicable differently.

This is just an example but the MSM push here is all pointing to push towards two laws – one for Muslims and one for rest. e.g. Omar being allowed to cover her head is I believe something introduced specifically for her. I can guarantee that no religion in the world impose dress code and yet we always hear this excuse “my religious belief .. blah blah blah .. ”

Disclaimer – I have not read Quran so do not know if it is specifically mandated. But I am generalizing based on observation regarding attire people wear in various geographic regions of the world and then being passed along as “my religious belief … blah blah blah .. “

“had to cover their heads” – I will stick with my original argument about “I can guarantee that no religion in the world impose dress code”.

Your statement is testament to that argument, because I and my sublings went to convent school (Wikipedia of the school page suggests that “It is a Christian School, established and administered by the Roman Catholic Church.”) and in my 10 years from KG through 10th grade I have been to a church adjacent to our school hyndreds of time, and not once I noticed any woman or girl covering their heads or man wearing hat/cap. In fact, if any boy would wear a cap, he was asked to remove it.

I have visited Gurudwaras (place of worship for Sikhs) few times, and while in India, my wife was asked to cover her head, here in U.S. / Canada she was not. Ditto for some temples in India – some would mandate that my wife covere her head, some would not care. Some would require that men can only enter the temple if they wear certain traditional attire while most temples do not care. And just for clarification – these temples are of the same lord but it would be the priest and the temple administrators who would enforce this – NOTHING to do with religion.

Little do they know that folks like you and me care a hoot if FOX news is on air or not and has nothing to do with our trust in President Trump. Next, I will not be surprised if they or Jack himself will shutdown Twitter – because it helps President Trump.

I live along our southern border, I have my whole life. It is not a “fake emergency”. My house is 1.4 miles from a Border Patrol sub-station. I see more Border Patrol than Highway Patrol, and I can tell you we have a national emergency. Here, our jails, hospitals and schools are overwhelmed with illegal immigration. Many conflate illegal with legal immigration, they are very different. You can come down here and see for yourself. You should talk to Border Patrol agents, better yet, you could listen to them. If you want to understand healthcare, talk to a doctor. If you want to understand border security, talk to the Border Patrol.

You’ve put your finger on the pulse of the problem. The entire socialist commetariat — left-wing websites, left-wing cable propaganda bureaus such as CNN/MSNBC, unemployed left-wing bartenders from Brooklyn who found their way into the House of Representatives — is pretending there’s no crisis.

They bleat on TV and the Internet, constantly & without a trace of self doubt, that there is no emergency.

And their Marching Morons, on every university campus and in every termite mound charitably called a “city,” accept this without questioning it. Just as they accept the claim that they must spend the rest of their miserable lives living in a 10-foot cube that costs $2000 a month, with a lovely panoramic view of the neighbor’s dog taking a huge dump.

Dear Jack Frost & Other Left-Wing Partisans:

Don’t tell me. Let me guess.

You live in one of those 10-foot cubes that cost $2000 a month, with a panoramic view of the neighbor’s dog taking a huge dump. There are three independently sufficient reasons why you can’t afford a car. Fortunately, your barista job at Starbucks is within walking distance & you’ve negotiated your student loan payments down to only $600 a month.

So next month, you might be able to afford a used bicycle. Let’s hope this one doesn’t get stolen.

That master’s degree in Gender Studies is really paying off big for you. Has it ever occurred to you that illegal immigration may be affecting your quality of life? Are all the affordable apartments in your neighborhood occupado? And the guy holding the leash on that dog taking a huge dump outside your window … does he even speak English?

LMAO. I live in a 3000-square-foot farmhouse built in the 1870s. My nearest neighbor is a quarter mile away. Spectacular views in all directions. After all, it’s on top of a hill.

Sixteen mature trees surround my gigantic front yard, which is probably big enough to hold four apartment buildings the size of yours. The back yard is even bigger & has a well. The water is pure & unchlorinated.

By the way, my rent is $400 a month. Utilities included (except for high speed WiFi — had to install a dish & pay $50 a month). The farmer I’m renting it from gets a huge break on electricity & propane, because he’s a farmer.

And I can park my bicycle anywhere & not even worry about it getting stolen. I even leave my ignition keys under the sun visor in my pickup truck. I only lock the front door of my house unless I’m going on vacation. My neighbors know that if there’s ever an emergency, they can get in the back.

I have herds of deer walking past my windows at dawn. At dusk I can hear the coyotes. We are surrounded by a blend of farms, forests & wetlands, so the wildlife provides a fairly constant & varied display. Egrets, owls, fox, herons, cranes, eagles … jealous yet?

Kevin Hassett and Trump have both mentioned how the 2.9% GDP figure used the wrong method of calculation.

Just so we are comparing apple to apples:
…Has the method used to get the 2.9% figure been used to calculate the GDP for previous years and administrations?
… Has the method used to get the 3.1% figure been used to calculate the GDP for previous years and administrations?
… Is there any rational reason why the method should be changed or one method should be used over another depending on the situation?

It’s almost interesting about the news coverage because there are two two different ways to measure the year. And one is year-over-year and one is quarter 4 over quarter 4. And everybody is picking the lower number because they don’t want to give the president credit for 3.1.”

It turns out according to fbi open source documents that President Trump has been working with the FBI to end corruption for 40 years. All the so called mafia connections , Russian connections, organized crime, he has never been indicted and all the bad guys went to prison. President Trump is our own Bruce Wayne/ Batman. Go read @monsieur America on twitter, many important people follow him. Felix Sater who had his office next door to Trumps office in Trump tower is an FBI asset. It’s all there. Rouge elements used Sater, Page and Trumps service to bring down Russian bad guys and those connections to get the Fisas . It’s all coming out. The swamp is being drained. Trumps 20 minute visit to Epstein Island, with his pilots testimony, was most likely FBI related. We have it all. It’s going to happen, and shortly. God has his hand on us.

No way once all the information that is being held back about the set up meetings from Brennan’s dirty hands.. the text messages from Warner to Steele… all the skips in the story that will fall into place soon when these transcripts are released… unredacted showing what transpired and how many Dims both in the O WH were complicit in the Hillary fiasco (LL), the Ukrainian connection, the Clinton Foundation, and then Crossfire Hurricane to cover it all up.

We seem to be in a transitional time in the US, with the forces of common sense (i.e. Trump) being under minded by socialists/nevertrump establishmentarians whose world view is quite different that what we’ve thought as the American Way.

Byron York has a really sick example of an FBI deep staters view of how the world should work

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/years-later-trump-dossier-still-frustrates-verification-efforts?platform=hootsuite

here’s the FBI guy when asked 2 years after the dossier whether they’ve found any proof

“So, I like to talk about this in kind of a living sense,” he began. “Though, because the idea is, you’re never — you’re constantly evaluating that reporting, you’re constantly looking at incoming intelligence streams and investigative results. It’s not a snapshot in time thing where you would look at reporting and say, it is — we have nothing to refute this today.”

Moffa had more. “You have to constantly be sort of doing that,” he continued. “And so, our analytic process in looking at this reporting and all reporting, really, is that more ongoing sense. So at the time, we are constantly re-evaluating, as time goes on, is the information here supported by facts we have elsewhere, or refuted by facts we have elsewhere?”

2 years. Straight Kakfa, at best. We will keep the case open until you prove the allegations false. The administrative state (i.e. bureaucrats) get to make their living (and a good one)…against a sitting President. Coup indeed, mounted by some of the dimmest sort of people around.

This is why a society devolves into struggle sessions…the apparatus won’t be satisfied until you confess.

Even Peggy Noonan is catching on

Get Ready for the Struggle Session In America, and even more so on Twitter, there’s a whiff of China’s Cultural Revolution in the air.

Parallel worth noting: Mao whipped up the youth against the older generation – to the point of encouraging them to actually go so far he’d have to stop them – same way the “Freshmen Dems” have treated Nancy Pelosi (who at this point I’m offended for her)

Rynn great video worth watching! Joe said something I haven’t heard anywhere else and that is our US Ambassador to the Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch has been telling the Ukrainians to ignore President Trump because he is going to be impeached! Joe said bring her home for a consultation hopefully with President Trump himself. Apparently she was appointed by obama at Hillary’s request! Victoria said Hillary got women appointed as Ambassodors to East European countries to help her once she was anointed President! Godspeed President Trump!

Trouble, the issue as I see it is that ALL of the Laws on the current books which encroach upon 2nd Amendment rights are already unconstitutional.
I can see no evidence of any cohesive rebellion, except in small pockets, against these encroachments.
On many, many fronts, our Constitution is being ignored.
So…how is it that we can brag ab NZ’s thrust against self defense as being “unconstitutional” as it may or may not be applied to USA?

Remember saying I was not sure why Ptrump was taking this crap from George Conway but now I am sorry I felt that way. Would it have been better for PTrump to just ask KAC to go work out her problems?…There is something wrong here. It does not make sense..It does not make sense that the husband would be doing this and it does not make sense that KAC would let it happen. This kind of stuff just does not happen in this way. People are trying to compare this to Mary Matalin and James Carville…not even close. It is weird and something is not right.

winky: IMHO, Kellyanne and George are on the same page. No wife or husband would have a marriage if that was going on. Common sense can be so common it is missed. IMHO, there are only two reasons why this is happening:

      1. Kellyanne does not want to quit, but wants a way out.
      2. Kellyanne and George are swamp dwellers (Kellyanne has been a longtime pollster and George has steeped himself in the swamp). They want to keep a foot in the swamp and play both sides by George coming out as a Never Trumper.

This is my opinion and not based on anything but intuition and gut instinct. Kellyanne appears to be a climber…the typical ones you see when you have worked in the upper echelons of a corporation. I would not be surprised if there has been leaking and behind-the-back remarks.

It may prove to be wrong and I truly hope so. However, I WOULD NOT rely on Kellyanne Conway for re-election. No way. PDJT needs a complete team to focus on the swing states apart from the RNC. Do not rely on Ronna Romney at the RNC. Do. Not. Trust.

If Barr cared about justice, his country, the sacred role of the attorney general, the integrity of law, and if he had balls, he would do the following: announce his interest in scheduling an open hearing in Congress. Do not release details. Build suspense. With national media focus, he would then outline, in a one hour presentation to Congress and the American people, the specifics of the coup attempt as now known, with all the various players and their activities including the media’s part. He would then announce his intention to recommend to President Trump the appointment of a special counsel from outside government to examine the origins of the Mueller investigation, the conflicts within the investigation, and the probable criminal activities of those within the DOJ as well as the related political players.

      Truth ^^^^^!!^^^^^^

I was having a debate/argument with a liberal a couple days ago where this individual stated that Trump was in this for himself. I had the temerity to ask please explain “what’s in it for him?” To which the answer was “crickets.” So I pressed on, “why would a multi-billionaire disrupt his life of luxury, throw his world and family in to the gristmill that is the swamp?” Still crickets, some prepackaged talking points, but no answer.

This particular person considered himself an old hippie/counter-culturist (69 years old). So I told him that I like President Trump because everyone in DC hates him, the very definition of anti-establishment. I then asked, “so the thing that you claim was your defining time in your life the 60s & 70s and your counter-culture youth are all rubbish, because indeed you support the man aka the uni-party?” This was the point that the debate ended and this former hippie disengaged from our discussion and wandered off with doubt in his mind.
