Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.

For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

one of the many things I love about Wyeth’s work is that it almost always seems as though either something has just happened…or something is about to happen…within the context of the subject and setting.

intriguing…like you want to see the sequel…or go back to the beginning.

    Forgiveness and Relationship With God
    OCTOBER 02, 2018

    Matthew 6:9-15

When someone wrongs you, what is your biggest concern? Most of us would have to admit we are concerned mainly for ourselves or loved ones. We’re filled with anger or hurt, and forgiveness is the last thing on our minds. But how often do we consider that the way we respond will affect our relationship with God?

Sometimes as we say the Lord’s Prayer, we may quickly recite, “Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors” (Matt. 6:12) without giving the words much thought. But the two verses that follow this prayer remind us how serious forgiveness is. If we don’t move past our hurt and anger toward forgiveness, then God will not forgive us. For those of us who have repented of sin and by faith received Jesus Christ as our Savior, all our sins have been forgiven, based on Christ’s substitutionary payment on the cross (Col. 2:13-14). Therefore, these verses in Matthew cannot mean a loss of salvation. They instead refer to the barrier unforgiveness causes in our fellowship with God.

Holding on to grievances is a sin. If we allow that to continue, our communion with the Lord will be disrupted until we confess our attitude and forsake it. We understand what this is like when a child refuses to obey his parents. Although their love for him hasn’t diminished, there’s an unresolved conflict in their relationship.

As God’s children, we are called into intimate fellowship with Him. Let’s not be like disobedient children who remain under the Father’s discipline and therefore miss out on blessings He wants us to have.

There are 2+ versions of Scott McKenzie’s “San Francisco” I view at YT. In this version, he is performing live at the Monterrey Festival. There was a interesting/touching comment posted by a guy (below the video) who visited San Francisco in 1967 when he was 19 and this song had been released. His observations of the scene was wild – the people he and his friends encountered. Most poignant is what occurred shortly thereafter, he was in a huge hanger with thousands of other soldiers, heading to Vietnam. What a snapshot in time (I was 16 at the time). Scroll down to the 11th comment posted near the top by “Louis Escuela.” I’m glad Louis made it home.

via local online paper this morning, this ludicrous headline from which I quote:
Blame It On The Rain, Snow: Cuomo Poses Theory For Upstate Population Flight

“Cuomo’s argument that weather is a major factor in the upstate population decline was blasted Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro, his Republican challenger on Nov. 6.”…While New York continues to attract immigrants, a study last year found that it led the nation in net migration to other states, with 41 upstate counties losing population since 2010.

There is no dismissing as a mere coincidence then – the timing of Obama’s destructive taint coincides with above:
    via wiki:

“On September 18, 2009, advisors to President Barack Obama informed Governor David Paterson that the President believed he should withdraw his 2010 gubernatorial candidacy, stepping aside for “popular Attorney General Andrew Cuomo.”[35] On January 23, 2010, the New York Daily News reported that Cuomo would announce plans for a gubernatorial campaign at the end of March.[36] Later reports indicated Cuomo would announce his gubernatorial campaign coinciding with the state Democratic Convention in late May.[37] On May 22, 2010, Cuomo announced his run for governor in a video posted to his campaign website.

Obama is the fool who put the idea in their heads, that they were somehow deserving of a wage nearly double what most other low-skilled, entry-level workers were making.
He (and Andrew Cuomo), never having had a real job, was completely clueless of the wages Americans were earning.
Remember he told that guy with a wife and baby, who said he couldn’t afford over $300 a month for health insurance, to quit spending his money on a cell phone and cable TV?
Wasn’t that a rayciss thing to say to a brown-skinned individual?

I had to comment on your mention of Guardian Angels. What a beautiful concept, one I am so glad I grew up knowing. As a child I felt protected by my Angel. For years I had forgotten about my GA, years when I needed protection the most. These days as I try to be closer to God I often think of my GA. Wouldn’t it be nice is today’s youth had the benefit of knowledge of a Guardian Angel.

That battle was for all the marbles too. The US was losing the war bigly. Washington D.C. was sacked and burned, all the forts on the East Coast had fallen and the English were coming for Fort McHenry, one of the last remaining holdouts. In desperation the US commander ordered nearly the entire naval fleet on hand SUNK in the Patapsco River to create a reef to keep them far enough away so that there ‘rockets’, bombs, and cannons could not reach the fort.

Consider the emotions felt by one particular prisoner of war who wrote that poem on the back of an envelope from the deck of one of the English warships…Francis Scott Key. The morning light revealing that the fort was held against expectations through the night of bombardment.

What did Brennan put into Obama’s PDB’s regarding the Carter Page FISA warrant? Was Brennan pushing Obama and Rice for an emergency FISA warrant against Carter Page?

For decades, the CIA vigorously resisted requests to declassify Pickles and PDBs. Successfully opposing a Freedom of Information Act request, the agency told a federal court in 2005 that “the PDB is the most highly selective compendium of the most important intelligence available to the U.S. Intelligence Community. As such, it is uniquely sensitive in terms of risk of identification of sources and methods, including analytical methodology. The disclosure of the specific information in any individual edition of the PDB reasonably could be expected to result in exceptionally grave damage to national security.”[iv]

Despite the CIA’s reservations, the Obama administration recently released all of the approximately 2,500 Pickles and PDBs produced during the Kennedy and Johnson administrations, minus about 20 percent of the text that was redacted. The documents provide a unique opportunity to put oneself in the President’s shoes — or pajamas — as he read the CIA’s summary of the most important intelligence of the day, gathered at great expense, and distilled by some of the nation’s best minds.

    • Concerned says:

Did Nunes review and find information in Obama’s PDB’s regarding Carter Page emergency FISA warrant or a request to GCHQ to spy on President Trump’s campaign?

Tuesday evening, March 21: Devin Nunes takes a phone call while sharing a ride with a staffer, according to The Washington Post. After the call, he switches cars without telling his team where he’s going. As a Nunes spokesperson confirmed following a later CNN report, the unscheduled trip is to the White House, where an unnamed source provides Nunes with information about incidental collection of Trump and his associates.

      • Concerned says:

Why not release two documents. One, showing that Lynch signed an emergency FISA application at the request of Obama’s on Carter Page/President Trump’s Campaign?

And, one showing the tracking done by Obama’s administration in his PDB to include the request made to GCHQ, to spy on President Trump’s Campaign?

      • BigMamaTEA says:

Yes. That would be the only reason he needed a SCIF in the White House. There are SCIFs in other places; but NOT Presidential Daily Briefings (PDB)

ChoiceAmerica LEEPERMAX • 17 hours ago

Because your comment we reply. This is our 2nd post regarding such and will be the last.
In early September, in cooperation with our European counterparts we translated and released for English audience said information on one Christine Blasey Ford. It was met with scepticism and some labeled it conspiracy theory when it was simply compiled facts. The left MSM has ignored the facts and will continue to do so as avoiding the truth provides calendar delay. One of the english versions of story that did get circulation was titled “Daughter Of CIA Assassin Paymaster Tries To Bring Down Trump Supreme Court Nominee Kavanaugh” – perhaps you have read. Contained therein is the real Ford. Further intel will instruct you that said Ford is a blatant liar and that this entire episode has been manufactured by obvious players in the democrat party that signed recent documented letter of treason against the United States. It is not hard to evaluate and unmask the players if you simply do so. All additional accusations are fictitious. Money in fact buys lies and said Liars. What is important is that your Congress prosecute such and made example for world to see. One entity: Gateway Pundit has connected the dots as we just read, therefore trust. Said players remain under surveillance. It will be a good day when Americans realize that such help has been provided by the one country that has been so easily crucified by a deceitful media and party of the left. Shall you find this memo,..Peace be with you. All information has been provided. End. ###

This is the right moment for Republicans to support Oklahoma police officer Daniel Holzclaw who got framed by BLM protesters and a corrupt police investigation. Daniel Hoplzclaw was wrongfully accused of abusing addicted prostitutes while on duty. Video’s prove beyond doubt that police instructed and manipulated witnesses. Liberal media joined the BLM activists, as always. Michelle Malkin and Diana Davison have done great work to get Daniel out of prison.

President Trump should have a good look at all this. Daniel Holzclaw’s case will show how Dems use false accusations for political (and financial) gain.

Saint Theodore of Tarsus, Archbishop of Canterbury

Today is the 19th of September on the traditional Orthodox Church Calendar and is the date of Repose in the year 690 of this Spiritual Father of the English and Celtic peoples.

This Greek native of Tarsus was already 66 or 67 years when he arrived in Canterbury to serve the Faithful as Bishop.

He worked incredibly hard to unite the Christian English and Celtic peoples on the Church’s Paschalion that was adopted in 325.

Saint Theodore’s reforms and efforts led to a maturing of the English Church and a later wave of missionaries from England (as well as from Ireland) to share the Gospel with their cousins in the lands of Holland, Belgium, Germany, and beyond.

He was buried close to St. Augustine, the first Archbishop of Canterbury, in the Holy Monastery of Saints Peter and Paul. In 1091, his Relics were uncovered and found to be incorrupt.

(Info drawn from the book “Saints of England’s Golden Age” by V. Moss.)
