I believe Kavanaugh’s nomination is very personal for the Clintons. He served on Kenneth Starr’s team and worked on the document which was used for Bill Clinton’s impeachment.

Michael Bromwich, the attorney who is representing Andrew McCabe and just joined Blasey Ford’s team, also served in the Clinton administration. Now, the photo of Debra Katz trailing behind Cankles Clinton at one of her upscale fundraising events…

Great catch, Dora. It’s all a big Clinton Club, isn’t it?

Ford will need a real lawyer to protect and guide her through the minefield she entered and during the hearing if it occurs.

I also suspect the Democrats are planning some sort of legal action against the process and/or Kavanaugh. Again, they need a real lawyer if that is the case.

      • Prettyplease says:

Wolf moon, Up to a certain point I can agree with you that it is about self-preservation. Perhaps the mechanism is a little bit more complex. Remember I am presenting this from a Christian perspective.

From ancient times, all over the world, blood sacrifice to evil, demanding dieties was considered the usual practice. Even the great God Jehovah required blood sacrifices of the Israelites until the coming of the Messiah. At which point, His blood sacrifice was the ultimate remediation for all sin.

In our sophisticated culture, most of us still cannot see that this Offering of innocent blood to empower demonic forces is still going on here in the United States under the guise of Planned Parenthood. Make no mistake, those who worship at the altar of Baal will fight to the last breath to maintain this heinous institution. This monstrous daemonic dynamo is what empowers the doers of evil, of which HRC is one. Stop the sacrifices and the deep state/swamp will shrivel up quicker than a puddle in the desert.

The question is how do we do that? The deceptive answer, in part, that has been given to us is that we need to get five judges on the Supreme Court so that we can overturn Roe versus Wade. I’m not saying that this shouldn’t be done. What bothers me about it is that it reminds me of the mythological story of Sisyphus, the guy who kept rolling the stone up the hill, only for it to roll back down every day. Sure, we can work towards the long goal of getting enough Supremes on the court to get a majority, but I think we should also focus on other, potentially more immediate, ways to destroy the Dynamo.

There’s a lot that I do not know, but let me throw these questions out there. I read the other day where Congress funded Planned Parenthood through the defense bill. I found that to be totally reprehensible. My question is: isn’t it at the discretion of Trump’s administration who writes the checks for what Congress has approved? Then why not just NOT write the check? I know the Obama administration did that all the time. How many shovels ready jobs did we actually see? What are they going to do, impeach Trump? Obstruct and delay is the game plan of the Democrats. So why not use it on our side?

The second thing I was wondering about is if we could manage to drag the issue of abortion back to the state level. I was wondering if when Trump does his rallies, he could start educating the people about what they need to do to get their State legislatures to demand that the federal government get their hands off of this and that each state will hold a referendum as to whether they will allow abortions in their own states in the 2020 election cycle. Let each state decide for themselves if the blood of innocents will be on their hands. That will surely divide the sheep from the goats in a hurry… and there is Nothing like the leverage of an upcoming election to get the attention of our legislators on both the state and national levels.

I am a strong proponent of the KISS principle. Maybe there are solutions out there other than waiting for Scotus to do it for us. Americans today have too much of the “let Mikey do it.“ Mentality. Trump is bravely fighting this battle mostly by himself. What can we do to help him win?

My ER has nurses trained in rape kit procedures when a woman prrsents that said she has been raped. We also have to call local police when somei e says they have been assaulted.

My point is in a he said she said situation with no evidence about something that haopened decades before, what the heck is a sex crimes lawyer going to conclude in a hearing like this? I guess she can catch the liar in a contradiction but how can that happen if one person says he wasn’t there and the other person says he was. And there is no ‘where’ or ‘when.’

I cannot believe the committee did not take a vote already and is allowing this.

What the Dems have done to the judge is evil enough but does anyone remember the movie The Wrong Man with Henry Fonda and Vera Miles? Fonda is falsely accused of a crime he did not commit.

The strain on his wife and mother of his child, becomes unbearable and she spends 2 years in a psych hospital. This was based on a true story.

This is a horrific crime the Dems are committing against an innocent husband and wife. Kavanaugh must fight to the end on this one and when he is vindicated sue, baby, sue! Take these liars for every cent they have.

This whole Kavanaugh stuff is all BS.

For those you haven’t seen the CNN/Chris Cuomo interview with Avenatti (my apologies if I said MSNBC – he’s been on both and I don’t watch either). Save this!! Go to the 14:00 minute mark to the 24:00 minute mark. Remember, media is the enemy. Fight fire with fire. Avenatti is burnt toast!

Sec of Defense surprises the students of Dartmouth, speaking to a US Foreign and Military Policy class/ROTC cadets and a few alumni.
The video, an hour long, has gone viral. At one point Mattis said, when he visits foreign leaders, he always advises them to “do business with our State Dept….. cuz you don’t want them to call me.”

One final concession that Senate Judiciary Committee could make to this Ford woman. Take the sex crimes investigator’s questions and have the committee ask the woman these questions. Let Cruz do it. He’s a snaky lawyer but can come on syrupy sweet when he wants to. Just ask the questions with little or no follow up. Let her make her opening statement, and then ask about 6 questions, which should be all it takes to evaluate her credibility. The American people aren’t stupid, they’ll be able to see the facts or lack thereof. This was always going to devolve to a he said she said situation, no sense running from that. Just have a minimalist testimony and questioning and dismiss the woman, then let the blowhards on the committee run their mouths about it. They got nothin’, and the electorate will be able to see that clearly.

Trump has timed this out perfectly. This can’t be an October surprise, because after this furor dies and Kavanaugh’s on the court, the aftermath is going to be just the freakshow, and a coldblooded electorate is going to be watching that freakshow.

I disagree. Let the female attorney specializing in sex crimes ask all the questions. The Dems have thought this all out. You see that request for the three robocams…Well that’s what this is all about. If you said no cameras, the Dems would go ape sh!t. They want that image of her being questioned by R men.

Before that idiot Gillibrand was screaming she was going to be victimized all over again because she would have to be questioned by men on camera…Grassley says fine, let’s do a private non-public hearing…Dems scream oh no. Grassley says okay we’ll get a female attorney sensitive to sex crimes to do the questioning so she has less trauma…Dems scream…NO we want the men to ask questions…Can’t you see what this is all about? This will be the majority of the Dems TV ads for the midterms.

As plain as the nose on Dr. Ford’s face.

Great. Bring it on. That’s the freakshow. It is highly improbable that this woman will bring anything tangible with this testimony, it will be pure emotion and false theatrics. The Left will always play identity politics. If you cede the field to them, it’s a mistake. Let them hurl accusations and nonsense, and respond with Kavanaugh’s record and the smear campaign against him, and that the people engaging with these actions have no business being elected to run our government. You’re looking at this as a losing issue. This is a winning issue.

        Immigration is a winning issue.

The economy is a winning issue.

        Trade is a winning issue.

Good policy is good politics. Identity politics is bad policy and it is bad politics to all but the hard Left. They don’t matter. Take all the winning issues, use them and win.

Been saying Murky on board all the while. She was pressured when AK Gov Walker said no to Judge K.

There was a story going around Flakey was going to vote present in committee. Flakey denied it but didn’t say how he was going to vote. My guess, if he was voting no he would broadcast it. Besides at least 3 dims are looking to save their campaigns by possibly voting yes. Manchin, Heitkamp and Donally. There may be more no others have commented yet.

My local Commie rag newspaper, The Virginian-Pilot, had been owned by LandMark Communications forever. Bought several months ago by TRONC, Inc. Have noticed some improvement in how the local stories are dealt with – national news is from the usual suspects.

One important shift I’ve noticed is in the “Letters to the Editor” – been seeing more letters from our side. Today, out of 5 letters, 4 were positive toward Kavanaugh, and negative towards the Dems’ deceitful moves. The fifth was a letter criticizing Comey’s recent visit to Tidewater – said it was like inviting “Benedict Arnold.” Also stated positive remarks about POTUS.

The newspaper’s own editorials, and the ones from the national feeds, were what we always get, but unbelievable to see all “Our View” posts reflecting people like Treepers.

          Very unusual.

Nice she may be on board. Yet, if Murkowski was so concerned and would pay attention, Grassley publicly put investigators on It as soon as the allegations broke. Murkowski has a cell phone, a call or text was too much bother??

I’d love to see somebody start to do some old campfire chants in the middle of their seriously serious protest…get them off tangent, sit back and watch the fun, eat some popcorn.

These fools are just trying to provoke an agressive reaction that will be captured on film and broadcast 24/7. The proper response, imho, is that of an adult to a tantrumming toddler. Hippies initially won because they responded to hate with the peace sign and flowers. MLK was successful because his love and dignity, capture on film, offered a sharp contrast to the violent, hateful Segregationists. Love is the most powerful force on earth. Satan tries to get us to abandon Love. Whenever we hate or are toxic we have been tricked into joining team Satan imho.
