Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.

For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Most news report that McCain is being flown to Washington on an Air Force Jet – which is true. It just happens to be the Air Force Jet called Air Force2 that the Vice President and First Lady fly on. It flys at the Pleasure of and on the Orders of the President of the United States. That “rude, mean” Trump person who was barred from the Funeral, but sent his plane to carry the body in Pomp & Circumstance to the next funeral.

These Leftists and Hypocrites disgust me.

John McCain’s body and family will be flown out of Phoenix on Thursday afternoon on a plane usually reserved for the vice president and first lady.

The plane, most commonly recognized when it is serving as Air Force Two, is a Boeing C-32A. It is the military version of the well-known Boeing 757.

The 89th Airlift Wing, based out of Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, is responsible for the aircraft as well as Air Force One. McCain’s body will be flown to the base, according to a representative of the airlift wing.

War hero Joe Biden is getting ready to speak at McCain’s funeral and noted Vietnam era patriot Warren Beatty will be a pallbearer as will noted chairborne ranger Michael ‘Flat Feet’ Bloomberg. After carrying the Democrat’s water for so long they’ll carry McCain on the way out.
No word yet on if his funeral and wake will be nominated for an Emmy in the ‘Best Televised Fiction’ category – had Aretha Franklin nor died and her own Prime Time Review been on the same card McCain’s would have probably been more Hollyork star studded.
Too bad Ho and Giap are gone. they could have been there right next to Kerry – and still no word if Kerry will toss his medals into McCain’s grave or if Mary Beth Cahill will posthumously award him full membership in the DNC.

Yup, even though he can’t see it McCain made sure he’d take one last dump on Trump and conservatives in general after he was gone. All it lacks is the marching band from the People’s Anti-imperialistic Hanoi High School with Streisand and Rosie leading the way twirling batons.

Can’t help wondering how much of McCain’s animus toward Trump was McCain saw 2016 as his last chance as a Manchurian Candidate. Imagine the mess we’d have been in had we elected him and we had to invoke Section 4 of the 25th Amendment.

More diseases, likely introduced by illegal immigrants:

A tropical parasitic disease has invaded Europe, thanks to a hybrid of two infectious worms

MONTPELLIER, FRANCE—Infecting an estimated 230 million people, schistosomiasis is the world’s most widespread parasitic disease after malaria. But temperate latitudes were thought to be spared: Schistosome flatworms are common only in warm places in Africa, India, and South America. So parasitologist Jerome Boissier was surprised when, in a single week in 2014, physicians in France and Germany called him to report that two families who had never left Europe had developed the disease, which can cause fever, chills, muscle aches, and bloody urine.

Epidemiologists later traced the cases to the Cavu River on Corsica, a French island in the Mediterranean Sea, where the patients had swum during a vacation. Scientists found that a local freshwater snail was serving as the intermediate host that’s essential to the flatworms’ complicated life cycle. The river is still infested: At least 120 people have become infected. And the disease is turning up elsewhere on Corsica.

    S. haematobium probably reached Europe after a patient infected elsewhere traveled to Corsica and urinated in the Cavu River, Boissier says. An intermediate host was waiting: The river is home to the snail Bulinus truncatus—one of a few Bulinus species that can support schistosomes—which also occurs in some African and Middle Eastern countries. The outbreak “is a wake-up call that this disease can establish itself wherever the right [conditions] exist,” says immunologist Daniel Colley of the University of Georgia in Athens, who notes that global travel makes such introductions more likely.

    Two years ago, Boissier’s team reported that DNA tests on the parasite eggs suggested the new arrival was a hybrid of S. haematobium and S. bovis, a schistosome species that infects livestock;

on the basis of the hybrid’s DNA, Senegal was the most likely source. The hybrids themselves were not news; Tine Huyse, a parasitologist at the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium, and a colleague had found them in Senegal in 2008

Hybrids have emerged in other parasites, including the agents that cause malaria, leishmaniasis, and Chagas disease. Just how important they are in epidemiology is still unclear, but their existence is worrisome, Huyse says, and they seem set to become more common as travel and migration expand. Hybrids are more likely to infect multiple hosts, allowing some of them to “hide” in nonhuman animals, out of reach of the drugs given to people…”

An immigrant that did not submit medical exams and blood tests… Yet, urinates in the river.

I’m surprised it’s not more widespread, European tourists flood Cairo and the upper Nile delta and schisto is endemic there. When we worked the area we were warned to stay out of the irrigated fields as schisto would almost reach out and grab you – there were also prohibitions on boat rides on Lake Nasser.
We have tropical diseases being brought in through the CDC and the others connected almost have a fit trying to say they’ve come in with Latinos crossing while pointing out they’ve first been found in US cities divided by the Rio Grande.
I love the way we quarantine plants and animals coming in to the US while tourists from countries sodden with disease breeze in with minimal checks. Ah well, back to that ‘how many deaths of innocents are acceptable in the pursuit of correctness’.

Ticklish situation coming up in the next week or two, Syrian forces (with Russian backing) are about to launch a major assault on the that rebel stronghold in an area right up against the Turkish border.
The Syrians and Russians have already been talking about the US and NATO’s ‘phony’ stories claiming Russia and Syria are using chemical weapons and hinting that the US/NATO may again falsely claim that Assad and Putin have used chemical weapons in some future battle so they may be setting up the stage to use chem weapons in this assault.
Turkey has already said it’s very unhappy with Russian/Syrian plans to hold operations in the area and Turkey shot down a Russian jet in the same area during attacks on the rebels in 2015. Let’s see how the Turks react to joint Russian/Syrian operations on their border, operations that may well include chemical weapons. And let’s see what happens when/if those rebels start to run for safety into Turkey…..

California Liberals Boycott In-N-Out After Burger Chain Donates To Republican Party

California liberals have flipped their patties over a government filing showing that fast food chain In-N-Out Burger donated $25,000 to the California Republican Party.

After that, California Democratic Party chairman Eric Bauman called for a boycott. Apparently anyone with divergent opinions should be financially punished.

The burger chain’s late CEO, Rich Snyder, was an evangelical Christian and heavy supporter of GOP candidates. His daughter and current President, Lynsi Snyder, is also devout according to Fortune.

That said, In-N-Out Burger also donated $80,000 over the last two years to Californians for Jobs and a Strong Economy – a liberal Political Action Committee which supports business-friendly Democratic candidates.

Founded in 1948, In-N-Out is known for excellent food, employee benefits, and of course their secret menu. Employees start around $13 an hour (vs. the current California minimum wage of $11 an hour), while managers make as much as $160,000 per year, no college degree required.

The burger chain also offers a 401(k) plan, paid vacation, and dental and vision for both part and full-time employees. Because of this, In-N-Out earned Glassdoor’s #4 rank for best places to work in 2018.

When I was in LA, relative made it a point to take me to In-N-Out and yes, it was delicious. One burger was enough for two people who don’t want to expand the waistline too much… but yes we need In-N-Out. Bring it to Tennessee please! I’m not much on fast food but I’ll do my part 🙂

      • wondering999 says:

Plus Tennessee is overrun with refugees from California. At the 5am exercise class was stunned to realize how many transplanted Californians are working out in our cool delicious sunrise weather. So long as they don’t screw up our government like the place they fled from, I’m happy they’re here. But some of them should bring their In-N-Out Burger joint, too

Yet another biased film production I won’t bother to watch.

I still remember the day the moon landing occurred. I was at my buddy’s GF’s house and we watched it on their B&W TV.

I must confess I have a replica of the New York Times front page of that day, July 21, 1969 hanging on my bathroom wall just above the toilet. I read a little bit of it every time I go in there. That was back when the NYT was actually worth reading. They actually reported the news without the biased left wing slant. I found that framed and laminated paper at Goodwill a few years ago for dirt cheap.

Things are heating up at the Vatican.

    Vatican arranges escape hatch

Church Militant has learned from reliable sources that Pope Francis has directed Cdl. Donald Wuerl of Washington, D.C. be spirited out of the United States before Wuerl can be arrested by U.S. federal authorities.

Wuerl has apparently gone underground, and sources confirm with Church Militant, that it is the Vatican attempting to orchestrate his escape out of the United States.
