These numbers mean nothing. If you look at the campaign contributions and expenses report sheet, a candidate is supposed to report “in kind” donations, that is, non-monetary donations like free artwork, meals for staff, printing, advertising and things like that. The American TV and radio industry has been a HUGE non-monetary donation to the democrats for years and yet they don’t report a dime of it.

There is no way for RNC to compete with the deep pockets of the Billionaire globalists who will not donate directly to the DNC. There is a major under reported or even non-reported issue about the Billionaire donor gap between the political party. The media will NOT carry because it would further illustrate the hypocrisy of the Democrat Party’s turn to being a socialist organization. Every socialist government to date has been dominated by very rich elites who lead by do as I say and not as I do. Today’s US democrat Party has settled into that model.

Plus, the Billionaire Republican donors that do exist are divided between globalists, GOPe and US first factions.

For the RNC this is going to hinge on the nail biting factor of turn-out and cross-over voters. Best thing to do is encourage your friends to vote.

@paulraven1 – If I understand correctly, any money that is raised by a candidate, and NOT spent is considered contributions to a “warchest” and can later be used by said candidate as they see fit (they use it for “charities” legally I know lol)…

Am I misinformed? My main consideration when “donating” to any candidate – I prefer to volunteer my own personal “time” (phone banks, canvassing, etc.) than turning over money from my earned income, to be frittered away.

I seriously doubt if any of these candidates OR organizations (RNC, DNC, PACs) are ever “broke”!

How about people get informed and get OFF their azzes and go VOTE!

MSM could not be reached for comment.

FTA – President Donald Trump has been criticized by the media and by Beltway politicians of both parties for his meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin in Helsinki on Monday. But the summit has already produced a very significant win: namely, agreement to avoid a war in the Middle East by restraining Iran in Syria.

In the days leading up to Helsinki, the Trump administration maneuvered to constrain Russia’s options. The U.S. and Israel, exerting both military force in Syria and diplomatic pressure on Moscow, made clear that Putin would not have a free hand there.

National Security Advisor John Bolton, Glick noted, announced that Trump was scrapping Obama’s policy of allowing Iran free reign within most of Syria, and would seek a new agreement with Russia that would move Iranian troops out of Syria altogether.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly insisted on compliance with the Israel-Syria Separation of Forces Agreement of 1974, which was brokered by the United Nations, and which was credited with keeping the border quiet for decades.

Fast-forward to the press conference on Monday. Putin, who spoke first, said that the U.S. and Russia had agreed on a new course of action in Syria: “The south of Syria should be brought to the full compliance with the treaty of 1974, about the separation of forces — about separation of forces of Israel and Syria. This will bring peace to Golan Heights, and bring [a] more peaceful relationship between Syria and Israel, and also to provide security of the state of Israel.”

From the WhiteHouse.com to my email. Ivanka Trump announces a new initiative in the Wall St J.

“In the past, that hasn’t happened. “For too long, both the public and the private sectors have failed to develop innovative and effective training programs,” Ms. Trump writes. But a new Executive Order from President Trump tomorrow will help change that. In partnership with a growing list of companies and organizations, the White House’s latest initiative will set the stage for developing a National strategy for training and retraining American workers.

From my limited perspective, this is a very positive use of “liberal” ideas. I also think job/personal-discipline training is absolutely needed to help transform those young people who grew up acting like slackers even if they didn’t think they were. They had no consistent parenting to insist they get their rears in gear and do a decent job – now, not later – or else. (Good parents intuit the leverage that works best with each age, including college age, sometimes including their adult children.)

That’s right. President Trump said then, “both sides” were responsible for events in Charlottesville. Of course, everyone got in an uproar, accusing him of supporting white supremacists because he didn’t denounce them outright.
The dirty secret is that many of the demonstrators were NOT white supremacists, but simply people who want to preserve the Confederate monuments. It’s part of their cultural history.

The truth about what happened – the Lefties were encouraged to show up by then Gov. McAuliffe, no permit required, and they did what McAuliffe intended -create chaos and mayhem.

As long as Antifa is allowed to come out with weapons and wear masks, this behavior will continue.

These elites and Left have shown without a shadow of a doubt that they are NOT ACTING IN GOOD FAITH with their fellow citizens. And their disrespect for our Constitution is glaring.

All the journalists do.

They could not stand up to Matt Lauer at NBC. They could not stand up to Charlie Rose at CBS. They could not stand up to Mark Halperin at NBC. Nor up to Leon Wieseltier at the New Republic, nor Jann Wenner at Rolling Stone, nor Michael Oreskes at NPR, at the New York Times, or at the Associated Press. But — oh, wow! — can they ever stand up to Putin! Only Trump is incapable of negotiating with the Russian tyrant.

And Byron York again drops the loaded and totally irresponsible term “interference.” No one has ever asserted that anything any Russians may have done had any effect on the outcome of the election or even actually “interfered” in the election. So what does “interference” mean? Journalism is dead.

Here is another example of election meddling. Why don’t Republicans run with this point?. Tucker Carlson discussed this and stated that Mexico meddles and influences our elections by giving illegals the right to vote in plain sight. This is a great point to enforce an ID for voting?

So ILLEGALS are given a free pass to commit crimes and get away with it….OUT RACIST…..and then they are given a free pass to meddle in our elections by voting illegally……SICKENING….I AM SICK OF THIS.

Actually, even if the illegals don’t vote, they affect the election. As you know, the number of representatives a state gets depends on the number of people in the state, as determined by a census every ten years. That number includes illegals. Thus California gets a few more representatives than they otherwise would have. And because it is zero-sum i.e. number of representatives is fixed at 438, that means some other state did not get those representatives (presumably because that state does not have a large illegal population.)

When The Left Longed For Russian Political Interference
To stop Ronald Reagan in 1984, Ted Kennedy reached out to the Soviet Union.

    Ronald Radosh
    01.29.17 12:01 AM ET

“Shortly after the announcement of Ted Kennedy’s death, I had already received several interview requests. I declined them, not wanting to be uncharitable to the man upon his death. Since then, I’ve seen the need to step up and provide some clarification.

The issue is a remarkable 1983 KGB document on Kennedy, which I published in my 2006 book, The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism (HarperCollins). The document is a May 14, 1983 memo from KGB head Victor Chebrikov to his boss, the odious Soviet General Secretary Yuri Andropov, designated with the highest classification. It concerns a confidential offer to the Soviet leadership by Senator Kennedy. The target: President Ronald Reagan. (A pdf file of the original Russian language document and an English translation are available here.)”

Robinson’s representatives argue that criminal procedure rules were violated in previous hearings in Canterbury and Leeds, meaning he was not able to properly respond to the charges

The left now claims that the “walkaway” movement is being run by Russian bots…..

“#WalkAway has also now been connected to Kremlin-linked Russian bots, and it is now the seventh most popular Russia-influenced hashtag as of this writing, according to the website Hamilton 68, which tracks Russian influence on Twitter as part of the Alliance for Securing Democracy, an initiative of the nonpartisan German Marshall Fund. The purpose of this now-astroturf campaign is to manipulate public opinion by creating the illusion that this is a popular movement. In reality, #WalkAway has become pure propaganda, a psychological operation.”

The #walkaway movement, a campaign highlighting alleged discord among the left, got a boost this week from accounts linked to Russian influence operations. The first use of the #walkaway hashtag from accounts monitored on Hamilton 68 was noted in early June (a few weeks after the grassroots campaign began), but engagement remained relatively low throughout the month. Activity spiked on July 2, when Hamilton 68 noted 73 unique tweets using #walkaway, and roughly another 50 using related campaign hashtags (e.g. #walkawaymovement). The late engagement suggests Kremlin-oriented accounts are trailers rather than leaders of the campaign, but the high-level of current engagement indicates an effort to astroturf support for the movement and hijack the narrative. This includes several monitored accounts that have changed their handles to include the hashtag, or that have shared their own supposed walkaway moments. The campaign also received a direct boost from Russian propaganda outlets RT and Sputnik, both of which ran stories on the movement.

The only shame of it is, I’m not certain that the bulk of #WalkAway-ers will be voting in the midterms. So the heavy lifting there still has to be done by R Voters.

  46. Trump is injecting substance into what had become a pro forma ceremonial post in the post WW2 era. By sitting one-on-one with Putin and making himself the sole arbiter for America’s positions, he’s pretending decades of military industrial power-shifting didn’t happen and is behaving like a Madisonian President. Trumpism is a dangerous counter-cyclical movement to the globalists.

I mentioned it here the other day, but ‘National Security and Double Government’ by Michael J. Glennon really nails the turf battle we’re living through right now.

It’s the Trumanite network vs. the Madisonian institutions.
