The Democrats are DEAD and they realize there is absolutely NOTHING they can do to stop the number ONE issue for voters (Economy/Jobs)!

The data from today’s Industrial Production report solidifies the Rust Belt (soon to be called the Trump Belt). Manufacturing is starting to takeoff in the good old USA!

    From the article linked above:

The Federal Reserve said industrial production rose 0.7% in April, slightly beating the consensus forecast and posting gains for the third consecutive month.

Mining, which has been the strongest component in the report, once again leads the way with a 1.1% increase for the month. That puts the year-on-year volume gain for mining output at 10.6%.

Production of consumer goods is close behind with a 0.9% gain.

Manufacturing production rose 0.5% in April to beat the consensus forecast by 0.2. That comes despite the 1.3% drop in vehicle production and puts the year-on-year in manufacturing output is up 1.8%.

Worth noting, volumes in business equipment rose 1.2%, which indicates a strong second-quarter for business investment.

Utilities is also very positive at a gain of 1.9%, making the yearly gain for utilities 6.0%.

Construction has not been phased by tariffs, as construction supplies rose 0.3% in the month.

The Atlanta Federal Reserve released their latest forecast this morning for the 2nd Quarter real GDP. It remains at 4.1%. We are heading towards a 2nd Quarter that at the very least will come in at 4.0% and may actually reach 5%.

My two cents – the economy will always be the number one issue that drives people to the polls. That said, when the economy is roaring, as it is, the second major issue is immigration.

Immigration is an issue for many but now for everyone. But EVERYONE pays attention to how much money is in their bank accounts,

Agree but would like to add that Immigration is directly related to our economy also and that is why it is number two on the list.

Agree. Immigration and the economy are intimately linked. No more slave wage jobs held by illegals. No more corporations making profits off slave labor. Only real American jobs for Americans or documented immigrants at decent wages. And now the jobs are there. More power to our POTUS and American manufacturing corporations — or international corporations who are willing to play, work, and trade FAIR.

The question isn’t the word “issue” or “priority” or “concern”.

It’s what “needs to change … FROM what … TO what”.

The Economy is roaring, BUT voters will know exactly what we need to change:
      • FROM Democrats who will increase Taxes to kill the Economy
      • TO Republicans who will cut MORE Taxes and make cuts PERMANENT.
[** Democrats continue to ensure that the Economy remains the #1 Priority.]

Rinse & Repeat for President Trump’s Immigration SOLUTIONS as the #2 Priority.

Unrecognized but about to burst onto the scene are President Trump’s CORRUPTION SOLUTIONS as the #3 then #2 then #1 Priority:

They can do something — they can attempt to impeach Trump. Do we need any more examples of leftist audacity, risk and fearlessness? They can and will try to impeach him. They don’t care the cost. Because the end result will be worth it to them. They don’t shrink for a second from tearing the country apart. Tearing countries apart is what they do. They don’t care. They do not fear or respect the Right and believe they can endure the consequences and emerge more united and just as in control of mass communication and primary tools of government.

Pam, tone of that tweet reminds me of something I found online nearly a year ago and quoted in a comment at another site:

Under the title: Janet Yellen’s Very Bad Week, June 17, 2017, The Weekly Standard website has a concise, sardonic take by Irwin M. Stelzer on the topic discussed in this thread .
“It was a bad week for the president of the United States… Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III is investigating whether Trump obstructed justice in connection with the FBI probe into Russian activities during the presidential election campaign. Mueller, a longtime colleague and close friend of James Comey, the FBI director fired by Trump, will be deciding whether to believe Comey’s charge that Trump obstructed justice, or the president’s denial. Mueller will have the help of a staff that includes lawyers who have contributed to the Democratic party. Trump has been around casinos long enough to know a stacked deck when he sees one, but cannot exercise his right to have Mueller fired lest he be accused of, er, obstructing justice.”

Sundance wrote that something was fishy about the way thehill published the story on Mueller and Deripaska: he noticed that it was published in oped and instead of publishing a second article they just added a few paragraphs into the first one. He was right, this explains it:
    http://archive.is/Ja1Yu

    Sundance has a great nose!

About Sundance, he is sometimes wrong in his predictions and I sometimes disagree with his opinions, such as I believe he still thinks Sessions is doing a good job and I disagree. Occasionally his conclusions don’t follow directly from his facts, and once, after I mentioned that, he excluded me from this site and I am now writing under a different name. Not always he gives the credits to other people (though other people steal from him all the time.)

Despite all of that I think he is one of the few rare heroes of this critical period of the world, he is the salt of America and if America survives, and I doubt it, but if it survives, it will be mainly because of a few people like Sundance who believe in it it and gave it all to save it. I mean this maniac publishes at least a half of a dozen stories every day, sometimes during a night, and each of his story is better than anything published in the rest of the media! There’s no way he can do it by talent only, he must be working like a crazy.

From the bottom of my heart – thank you Sundance!

“Among its findings was that Russian President Vladimir Putin “ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the US presidential election” – and “aspired to help President-elect Trump’s election chances when possible by discrediting Secretary Clinton and publicly contrasting her unfavorably to him.”

    Adding what we now know
Among its findings was that Russian President Vladimir Putin “ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the US presidential election ” —{because he was told by one of his Oligarchs that Robert Mueller’s people are CERTAIN that we are doing so because they made me talk to them about it today. And that the oligarch thought that this is a perfect opportunity to exploit and have DC insiders at each other’s political throat} – and “aspired to help President-elect Trump’s election chances when possible by discrediting Secretary Clinton and publicly contrasting her unfavorably to him.{BECAUSE THIS OLIGARCH KNEW THAT MUELLER’S TIES TO HIM WOULD MEAN THEY COULD SO MASS CONFUSION OVER WHO WANTED WHAT FROM THE RUSSIANS. Now.
        What is being revealed?
        What will it lead to?”

Obviously, NSA vs CIA. “Today” and “Now” refer to the closed door Senate hearing on the ICA. Others have posted the press release from that above. “Revealed” and “lead to” are simply asking the reader to observe the mtg result and consider possible consequences.

        “Faces of lawmakers stepping out.
        Focus.”

Watch who is saying what and consider what is being offered.

        “Reconcile.
        Nunes.
        Gowdy.
        DOJ.

Weren’t Nunes and Gowdy supposed to have a follow-up mtg w/ DOJ today? Was it canceled? What might that mean?

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 43% of Likely U.S. Voters think there is too much Trump-bashing going on in the popular culture today. Thirty percent (30%) say there isn’t enough, while 21% feel the level of Trump-bashing is about right. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

But only 23% say they are less likely to vote for a candidate who supports the president because of the current level of Trump-bashing. Thirty-six percent (36%) are more likely to vote for a pro-Trump candidate. Slightly more (38%) say the ongoing attacks on the president will have no impact on their vote.

Even among Democrats, just 36% say the current Trump-bashing makes them less likely to vote for a candidate who supports the president. Fifty-eight percent (58%) of Republicans are more likely to vote for such a candidate. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, a plurality (48%) says the Trump-bashing will have no impact on their vote, but 25% are more likely to vote for a pro-Trump candidate.

If they (China) don’t like Bolton, must be doing a good job. POTUS and his team are going to push hard to get them to what we feel is the best possible deal. Not an easy process… lots of pain, lots of yelling, maybe someone walks away – but our economy & armed forces guarantee they will be back at the end of the day to negotiate.

It’s hard to break habits. World is used to USA welfare.. whether through weak trade, leadership, or military. That is over.

The Chinese Governments reply to President Trump’s offer to salvage ZTE. There may now be a bidding war for North Korea.

If President Trump shuts down ZTE, China won’t have a lot to bid with. ZTE does a LOT of business here in Europe, and probably in America as well.

Time to quit bowing down to that damned Panda. Let them eat bamboo…

Then again, maybe the globalists have Xi by the shortncurlies as well…
