What about all of the other girls, now women? Why wont he simply deny he ever had contact with them or didn’t know them beyond a local church or restaurant?

I do not believe anything sexual happened with ANY of them. However, he obviously was interested in young women and he should simply have said that he has been faithfully married for decades now and that was 40 years ago.

Much easier to forgive him than it is to believe him.

      In my opinion.

Well he did say he never dated underage girls. Which I would take to mean below age of consent.
I don’t see that he has any obligation to comment on the others. It would never end.

Altogether 11 speaking out, and 4 new ones worked at the mall and 2 related to private office. I don’t feel good about it. The Beverly accuser seemed over the top but now I’m not so sure…….. Stamped signatures require a official seal, no? Kay Ivey needs to step up to the plate because if Moore loses, Doug Jones is in.. I still say it’s very precarious. I saw that it’s the Moore voters who are bailing and believing the accusers more than the Luther supporters. Well if that doesn’t just challenge everyone’s “fixed” thinking about Luther voters! Bannon is toast.

“Republicans who voted for Strange are the wild card,” he said. “Thirty-four percent of Moore’s supporters believe the women accusing him of pursuing them when they were teenagers with really weird stuff claimed by the woman, who was only 14.”

Kaplan said only 15 percent of Strange supporters believe the women accusing Moore, but 47 percent of them say they are undecided about who is telling the truth. “That’s roughly 102,000 voters in play.”

I wonder if today’s group of accusers are the “additional witnesses” Allred planned to bring to her senate hearings? I haven’t looked into the reaction to her CNN rant, but I’m guessing she’s getting nailed for saying dumb things like the legal process takes too long, congressional committees are the only place someone can be sworn to tell the truth, etc.

I don’t remember him being pro Trump but he wasn’t anti-Trump like Mo was.
Marsh thought about running for senate & would have been big challenger to Strange. I believe we could have had a Marsh vs Moore primary & Marsh may have won it. He decided not to run because he was eyeing running for Governor.

        Marsh has endorsed Moore.

The big thing for Marsh is education. He backed Trump’s choice of Betsy DeVos & believes in school choice. He is a lower taxes guy so would be good for Trump’s tax reform I believe.

I found this from Feb 2017. I didn’t realize he did this.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — In one of the first acts of the 2017 Legislative Session, State Sen. Del Marsh (R-Anniston) introduced a resolution to applaud President Donald Trump for taking “swift action to fulfill has campaign promises to the people of the United States.”

“Be it resolved by the Senate of the Legislature of Alabama, that the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, is hereby heartily commended and congratulated on his election and immediate attention to reducing regulations, utilizing American resources, restricting taxpayer funding for foreign abortions, beginning the process of repealing the Affordable Care Act, and thereby, making America great again,” the resolution reads.

“Since Alabama was one of the first states to fully support President Donald Trump, I thought that it was important to recognize his success,” Marsh said. “In a move rarely seen by politicians, he has quickly started to act on many of the promises he made during his campaign. I look forward to working with President Trump and his administration as he repeals costly regulations and puts America back to work.”

Wouldn’t there be a case record/court transcript? I realize he was saying he didn’t clearly remember (and who could blame him, 18 years later) – just ironic that they’re pressing him and taking his non-recall as further evidence.

          • deqwik2 says:

That’s why I’m thinking he would have to look back through paperwork to refresh his memory. The case number is on document so he would need to go to courthouse to look it up. If Moore signed off on it then there wouldn’t be a transcript because it would be paperwork done in Moore’s office.

  11. It looks like Big Luther passed on the dirty “dossier” he had compiled on Judge Moore that he couldn’t use in the primary or runoff. The recipient of this dossier was the Turtle. The Turtle, cut from the same cloth as HRC and the DNC, has it leaked to the Leftist media.Once we find out GPS and Brit Steele are involved, this “matter” can be wrapped up.

  14. Judge Moore’s biggest mistake was giving interviews to Hectoring Hannity. He should never assumed Hannity was anything but a Fox News operative, subject to a Murdoch veto.

    Liked by 2 people

    • Albertus Magnus says:

Oh, please. Judge Moore went on Hannity because Hannity had endorsed him in the primary and he wanted to go before a friendly questioner, like when Hillary Clinton goes before Andrea Mitchell.

He screwed up because he gave a poor explanation for his behavior 40 years ago.

It is no wonder that so many don’t get behind MAGA when the most vocal people on the train simply go on the attack on their own simply because they are overwhelmed with their own emotions.

The yearbook crap is forgery. The allegations of Moore being a creep 40 years ago and pursuing teenage girls seems true. He didn’t sexually assault anyone. It IS a witchhunt.

The judge is making this worse because he simply wont admit he liked younger girls so he ends up making himself seem guilty of the larger crimes when he isn’t.

But people here, please stop making yourself look like idiots by treating our longterm allies as the enemies. they aren’t.

Because Moore DOES NOT want to say he was 30 when he got done with West Point, Vietnam, and Law School, and was looking for a good girl, a virgin, as opposed to someone his age, 30, which, in 1977, would have been divorced, with kids.
        Makes sense to me.

I was divorced in my early 30’s and didn’t want to date men who were divorced and had kids. All of them did. So, I ended up dating younger men and ended up married to one who was 15 years my junior. That didn’t mean I ever had anything to do with teenagers, though.

It’s a mistake to believe Hannity is a long-term ally; he proved that he’s not. Neither is anyone else on Fox. They’re in lockstep, insisting that all the accusations against Moore are believable and verified and we should abandon him.

Limbaugh is another who wants to be seen as conservative whenever he feels it’s convenient; I remember how he railed against Donald Trump last year.

And then there’s Levin, who hops on and off the Trump train so often it’s hard to keep up with.

It’s true that Moore stumbled during Hannity’s interview and made himself look bad. But that’s not the whole story.

        Liked by 1 person

      • Hannity, like any other member of the media, cannot be a long term ally of anyone or anything besides their careers and their corporate employer’s interests. His idiotic ultimatum to Judge Moore deserves all the abuse it is getting. I have no emotional attachment to any member of the corporate media.

        I noticed that too.

I saw all five of them, plus Pirro, Ingraham and Hannity. Every single one of them came out against Moore the afternoon of the allegation. Tucker Carlson was against Judge Moore, though he wasn’t as one-sided as the others. I even saw Shannon Bream tonight, and she gives no benefit of the doubt to Judge Moore.

They’re still parroting the anti-Moore line even after the new information that calls the accusations into doubt. They won’t even mention that.

Ground report from China – you all are going to love this one.
I’m so happy I could spit. Everyone is excited, and they NEVER get this excited.
Folks, our President did REALLY WELL in China.
I talked to my head man and a few other guys were there as well, heard them in the background.
    In no particular order:

My head man has a son, age 8, who thinks Arabella is a princess. He’s in love and walks around singing her songs. (That’s so cute). My guy said he is already sick of he songs, making it sound like some American parents become tired of the song “Frozen”.

My head man says everyone is very happy, pleased, lots of business and many new orders and “much commerce”. He was excited, animated, and expressive….. which has not happened in the past decade we’ve known each other. Very unusual for him. I asked, did they understand the business was coming our way too? He agreed, yes, and with “respect and honor”. Not so sure about that one. Needs more questions.

He tried to tell me about the dinner at the Forbidden City and why it was so important President Trump and Melania went there first, “before meeting the people of China”. Apparently the Forbidden City dinner was a REALLY big deal and my guy described it as a “place he only knows in his dreams” but almost like the ancient Gods only go and meet there, an average man would never be allowed inside or have such access. It was as though he was elevating President Trump to a godly status and the two men, Xi and Trump, are the only ones allowed to walk in such hallowed halls. The Forbidden City must be incredibly holy to the Chinese.

But – I get the impression the Chinese see President Xi and President Trump as great leaders of the world, and almost a religious ‘happening’, like the dawn of a new time. This is hard to explain, trying my best. It’s as though each citizen of China worked so hard (for about 3 decades), which would be most of their lives, to make China important…. and finally, they have been recognized, validated. And strangely, it’s as though they feel the victory personally, and that validation came from our Trump. It is one thing if President Xi compliments his people but more powerful when the recognition comes from 3rd party, let alone the American President.
My guy felt like China has finally “arrived”.

Note: I first asked about President Trump’s visit and they actually did correct me immediately – “Oh, oh, Uncle Donald, you mean?”, which brought laughter and cheering(?) from the guys in the back.
They are happy and they loved the car, “the beast”, our Presidential limo.
And OMG, they LOVE Melania……… and Ivanka, and they wonder why they are so tall. Is everyone in America that tall???? Why did the son, Barron not come? Was he in school? How old is he? Is Barron also tall? Will the other children come the next time?
It was like being in a Trump presser.
All questions about Trump family, nothing about specifics on trade, nothing about UCLA hoodlums, which I did not mention.

In an unprecedented moment, my head man passed his cell phone around to all the other guys, so they could talk to me personally. I’ve done biz there for 14 years and this has never happened before because most of the other guys cannot speak English too well and my Mandarin….. is far worse. We struggled through a few of them and I was polite, of course, until I got to the last guy….
He’s one of our best employees and has done phenominal work for us in the northern provinces/bitter cold, for 7 years, but this was the first time I had spoken to him personally.
He came on the phone and said, “USA, USA, USA, USA!!!”
The tears welled up in my eyes.
I wanted to reach through the phone, throw my arms around him, and hug him BIGLY.

My head man came back on the phone, said “they all are sending warmest kisses”, very grateful. Interesting sidenote, they used to call me Madame, now they refer to me as Mamma. I think they are trying to say Momma.

It’s all good. Thank you President Trump, FLOTUS Melania, Trump family, and the whole delegation. The dividend is already being felt.

If these were recent allegation about Judge Moore hitting on much younger girls/women were true, it MIGHT be something to consider, but these are from decades ago and I don’t care. Moore,( IF, these charges are true), sounds like an awkwardly socially skilled man, a book-worm type most likely. When did that become a crime? Is he still hitting on much younger women? I don’t think so.

On the other hand, when did the democrats concern themselves with young women who work for them being hit upon by much older man? Where is Bill Clinton? How old was he? 49 How old was Monica? 22
