A Note About Political Violence…

A brief note about political violence from an observer of modern political history.

Many people are familiar with the linear political terms left and right.  Left equals Democrat world-views and Right equals Republican world-views.  On the left we discuss progressives, liberals etc.  On the right we discuss conservatives, etc.

In terms of a political continuum as you travel further left the governmental influence over the individual increases.

The further left, the larger government.  Socialism eventually gives way to totalitarianism and communism, full control by government.

On the same continuum if you travel rightward, a constitutional republic eventually gives way to the absence of government and you arrive at anarchy.  Visually it looks like this:

However, the end result of both Totalitarianism and Anarchy is conflict.  Total control by government over the individual is antithetical to freedom; the human condition has historically yearned to be free.  Additionally, within a social system lacking any governing rules and regulations, amid anarchy where only the strong can survive, natural states of human disposition lead to tribalism and therein ultimately, conflict.  (See Animal Farm)

Both sides of the political continuum end up in a state of conflict.  This leads to something we have discussed since our initial assembly began:

CTH has long noted the continuum is not linear, it is circular.

In the narrow space where the far-left and the far-right converge there is a state of perpetual conflict.  It is a space were two polarities are in constant conflict; much like two of the same sides of a magnet pushing away from each other yet both consisting of the same magnetic material.

In this narrow space between totalitarianism and anarchy there is constant political violence as both elements bounce off each other repeatedly.

The majority of the American electorate are neither far-left, nor far-right.  Americans are mostly represented in the lower half of the diagram above where ideological debate without violence is the preferred disposition.

There are times when this narrow conflicted and violent space between the two oppositional forces takes center stage amid the media.  Usually an event takes place were both sides merge and violence breaks out.  Inside this toxic battle-space the minds of the primary participants are generally unstable.

Inside this political conflict zone, denoted by the red box in my crudely drawn diagram, highly charged emotion surfaces as the commonality between both polarities.  There is little to no intellectual space possible.

Long-term readers will note that when media fuel carriers walk intently into this conflict space CTH does not.

CTH discusses events all along the political continuum and we hope to provide interesting information that can help make useful sense of the events occurring in day-to-day travels. We discuss political violence when either side of the equation engages in horrific action against ordinary citizens.  However, when the two political and extremist polarities come into conflict, and media is gleefully swarming into the foray, we prefer to stay away from the toxic emotional cloud it creates.

Respectfully,

Sundance

    Even Jeanine has been cowed.

She keeps referring to the 3 deaths.

Only 1 was the direct result of the driver.

Sad as the loss of LEO’s in the helicopter is, that was an accident.

But the narrative is so much better served when the number of deaths is reported as 3 instead of 1.

Absolutely. Charlottesville is just up the road from where I live. One has to understand the dynamics of that town – University of Virginia resides there. College town. Lefties run these places. Terry McAuliffe knew Antifa and BLM were going to be there.

The protestors (protesting removal of the monuments from the Civil War) had a permit to be there. Antifa/BLM did not. McAuliffe is Hillary’s bagman – (he’s the guy who gave FBI guy McCabe’s sister 1/2 million dollars for a failed campaign here in Virginia) – the police let the violence toward the permitted group occur. They LET Antifa come in contact with the people protesting. Nothing like setting off a powder keg…

The word had been out for awhile about the march to protest removal of Confederate monuments. While I’m a Northerner by birth, seeing the Leftists being ALLOWED to erase Southern history is an insult. And wrong. Attempts to force renaming of some great and GOOD men who fought in the War Between the States is going on all over the country. The Lefties make that war all about slavery – the racial component, when in fact, economics of the North drove them all to war. North needed the South. Period.

None of our side condone violence, but this is what the Left wants. They’ll run with this story all week. It’s another Ferguson, Trayvon Martin, Baltimore for them. No different than what was allowed to happen in Berkley. Expect to see more of this.

When the Lefties start being thrown in jail, then this will stop. But make no mistake, McAuliffe enabled this, as the rest of us Virginians know. At least those who know what facing President Trump haters means…

Remember, 1st they build the narrative that being a “White Nationalist” is evil, but what happens if you’re just a traditional American, a nationalist if you will, that makes us evil too? They trying to paint President Trump supporters as evil. It’s why a GOP precinct committeeman was killed by his Leftist neighbor, all because of his support of Donald Trump. Didn’t see the media running with that story did we?

Actually, I was extremely disappointed that Judge Jeanine ran three times late last night. Once would have been enough. Giving publicity to those who caused chaos isn’t exactly what we need at this point in time. We have been divided into select groups and that is proving to be a very bad thing for this nation.
I just read a speech given by Pat Sajak from Wheel of Fortune fame, He spoke to a graduating class at the Founders Classical Academy in Leander, TX. The gist of his speech was pitfalls to avoid going forward. … identify politics, the attempt to divide Americans and set us against each other. The entire speech was pubished in “Imprimis,” a publication of Hillsdale College. It really made me think about what happened at Charlottsville yesterday. What was gained by this terrifying event and what is gained throughout America when people cannot speak and discuss freely about issues? We are in dangerous territory.
P.S. I love the history of the flag of the Confederacy. I also read a quote by Abraham Lincoln today: “History isn’t history unless it is true.” Thought provoking in light of removing historical monuments and telling lies to our youth through textbooks that have been revised to fit someone’s narrative or personal agenda.
              Buyer Beware….

Just saw the post from “ladypenquin.” Thanks for the truth about the events as they unfolded. Terry McAuliff has been a rouge Democrat since the Bill Clinton days. When they know there is a conservative speaker scheduled, they show up to not only shut down the presence of the speaker, or in this case, a permitted protest by another group, and start trouble. The Left wants another Fergerson with their Mike Brown narrative, they want another Trayvon Martin with his picture of the innocent little boy of 8 years old, instead of the MMA thug he was – buying his skittles…

Now they can blame Trump supporters, and the president himself. Lefties don’t realize that they’ll light a fuse which will consume them as well as others…

    • I tuned in late and I couldn’t understand the news. Why were the “protesters” instantly labeled as “alt-right racists, hate-filled nationalists, Nazis,” etc., by McAuliffe but the “counter-protesters” were not identified?.

The news sounded like the violent protesters were foolishly fighting against themselves – or bashing some innocent “counter-protesting” shadows.

The President apparently tried to inject some balance into this view, but he was soundly criticized by fellow Republicans Rubio, Hatch, Kasich, Jeb, even Huckabee – not to mention those on the left – for not outright blaming and condemning racist nationalists and the KKK for the violence! Couldn’t Rubio, Hatch, et al, have waited for an investigation – or do they really believe McAuliffe’s version of what happened?

Janine herself seemed to agree the President should have condemned the right wing protesters for the violence. She even seemed to connect the helicopter crash with what happened on the ground.

Could not the “counter-protesters” be racist themselves? Why were they attacked by the protesters if all they were doing was peacefully counter-demonstrating?

Political correctness shutting down free speech (although of course, Google had the right to fire the employee) – well maybe not, they’ll find out in court – but it’s how you groom the culture and society at large to move to thought control and behavior which is acceptable to the STATE. We need to shine a bright light on Richard Spencer.
There’s something going on with this guy, which I do not trust. It reminds me of the first time I saw John Edwards speak. Ewwww.
Spencer was rejected of “leadership” position within the Alt-Right. Heck, there is no “leader”, just ask Milo.
        Recall:
November 20th, 2016, Richard Spencer gathered a group of “alt-right” people in a little ballroom in DC. The crowd was about 150 people but there were about 200 journalists there…. who were specifically invited.
Spencer gave a speech, among many other speakers.
At one point during the speech, Spencer said, “Hail Trump, hail our people, hail victory. Everyone threw their hands in the air and cheered.
At that exact moment, all the journalists snapped a photo. The journalists did not snap many photos previously, with other speakers. It was odd, as if it was on cue. Those photos spread across media, like wildfire, and were used to present the Alt-Right as Nazis, saluting. The incident made national news and you may remember it.
        I do.
Attendees, and others like Milo, became suspicious, and began to ask questions about Spencer. The meeting looked like a set-up.
We later learned The Atlantic reporter had ACTIVELY and personally invited many members of the press to attend.
        Why?
We then learned Spencer struck a deal with the far left media outlet, The Atlantic, to document, in effect, “racism in America”, over the next year. From my memory, I believe Spencer was given $165K for a “documentary” and The Atlantic was going to follow him around.
        So………
Why would someone from the Alt-Right, strike a deal with The Atlantic, to run around America, in what looks like staged incidents of racism for the camera?
Recall when The Atlantic was going to interview members of the KKK and it all turned out to be staged and fell apart? I remember that. I posted about it months ago.
        Funny that….. The Atlantic…… again.
        Hmmmmm…….
In any event, Spencer was admonished, disgraced on 4Chan, and basically thrown out of the “Alt-Right” almost immediately…. but something strange happened on the way.
In rapid succession, the Southern Poverty Law Center, ACLU, and other far left groups, immediately ‘BRANDED’ the alt-right as a hate group.
It happened in the blink of an eye. HOW did it happen so fast?
        So……….,
Why was Richard Spencer at the rally in Charlottesville and how is he currently funded?
Why was David Duke at the rally in Charlottesville?
There’s something “rotten in the state of Denmark”. We may learn more as time goes on. We may never know. Surely, however, the questions should begin with Robert Spencer and his contact at The Atlantic. The entire incident in Charlottesville smacks of coordination. It’s eerie and I, for one, have many questions.
On the other side, AntiFa, Soros groups, The Ford Foundation, and BLM need to be investigated and their funding sources/individuals need to be prosecuted.
The left seems to be focusing on Confederate monuments as a way to provoke more strife, increase donations to their cause, make headlines. I followed the story in New Orleans closely as I am from New Orleans. Only 19% of voters wanted the monuments taken down and 68% of voters wanted the monuments to stay. There’s no way 68% of the voting public is “racist”. This is a push by a small faction of the left.

If Trump created a high paying job for every American, the press would discover free markets and insist that the Government should keep their hands off the economy.

There are some reports that it was not intentional, and this video may support that viewpoint. It looks in the end like a 3-car pile-up. There is a group of 3 cars trying to get through protesters, some climbed on the first two vehicles, the first stopped, and the third was speeding up big-time to close the gap. I think the analysis will be very different from the initial story the presstitutes wanted.

Eric Holder, bless his evil soul, is calling for a DOJ investigation. Trust me, we NEED that. ANTIFA will finally get the attention it needs, and probably “stand-down” Democrats, too. I’ve just heard theories that some of these newer neo-Nazi groups that were there smell very deep-state, and may be weird deep state or ANTIFA creations – kind of false front groups. If that’s the case, they need to be outed bigly. Millie Weaver thought it, so did several others who saw pictures of the groups. They don’t smell right.

Which brings up an interesting historical fact. Many of Germany’s Nazis actually WERE communists who switched. Yeah. Some fairly big, too. It would make sense if the commies had done a lot of “controlled opposition” there as well. Point for future research.

LOL. Oh, my.

The police can’t be everywhere instantly. Within seconds, they are asking why the police aren’t there yet. Within minutes, the first officer arrives. Very good observation! Yes – when the politics were replaced by emergency needs, the “bot programming” disappeared instantly on all sides. Protesters on top of cars turned into victims, angry drivers became victims, protesters became caregivers. This is why it’s very critical to watch the video and piece together the frames in the blur. You can see that it wasn’t what the BLM media advertised. Much more complex.

There was a witness this morning that said that after the first pile-up, the guy backed up and tried to ram forward again. There is also a photo of a car – looks like his – literally covered with attacking Soros-bots. I think the truth is going to emerge that the guy was involved in a 3-car, then went “Mad Max” when his car was attacked by protesters. A LOT of responsibility will fall on Soros and the Mayor. They’ve tried to blame-shift 100% to the guy in the car, but it’s not likely to work, as video is analyzed.

“Just to give perspective on this incredible murder by government, if all these bodies were laid head to toe, with the average height being 5′, then they would circle the earth ten times. Also, this democide murdered 6 times more people than died in combat in all the foreign and internal wars of the century.[…]

After eight-years and almost daily reading and recording of men, women, and children by the tens of millions being tortured or beaten to death, hung, shot, and buried alive, burned or starved to death, stabbed or chopped into pieces, and murdered in all the other ways creative and imaginative human beings can devise, I have never been so happy to conclude a project. I have not found it easy to read time and time again about the horrors innocent people have been forced to suffer. What has kept me at this was the belief, as preliminary research seemed to suggest, that there was a positive solution to all this killing and a clear course of political action and policy to end it. And the results verify this. The problem is Power. The solution is democracy. The course of action is to foster freedom.”

          D. Extremist Ideologies
          1. Introduction
          • As noted, an ideology is a set of political beliefs about the nature of people and society. People who are committed to an ideology seek not only to persuade but to recruit others to their belief. In U.S. history, there are many examples of extremist ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just two examples.

          2. Ideologies
          a. Nationalism – The policy of asserting that the interests of one’s own nation are separate from the interests of other nations or the common interest of all nations. Many nationalist groups take it a step further and believe that their national culture and interests are superior to any other national group.

          b. Supremacy – The belief that one’s race or ethnicity is superior to all others and should dominate society. Supremacy, as with racial supremacies in general, has frequently resulted in anti-Black and anti-Semitic violence.

          c. Separatism – Setting oneself or others apart based on culture, ethnicity, race, or religion.”

This explains why Robert E Lee’s Battle Flag, a part of our southern history, was so viciously attacked by the media and Obama’s goverment and now continues to be attacked.

Dinesh D’Souza: “The grim events in #Charlottesville illustrate the lethal danger to a society of race-based identity and ethnic nationalism”

      __________________

Or it illustrates nothing more than a panicked or misguided individual, and says nothing about the larger issues at all.

As for the ‘danger to a society of race-based identity‘, has there ever been a society that was not based on racial identity?

      Is that even possible?

      It’s a 100% honest question.

If a society is largely homogeneous, e.g., mostly white, or mostly black, or mostly American Indian, or mostly Asian, et al, is that society not based on racial identity by definition?

And in a society where different races are in regular contact with one another — unless everyone is blind — how else do they identify one another, besides racial identity?

It is part of how our minds function. We see patterns, and those patterns help us to make sense of our environment. In large part it happens instantaneously in real-time without conscious thought or effort.

Words have meaning, and it seems like we sometimes forget what basic words mean:

      …………………………………………
      identity [ahy-den-ti-tee]
      2. the condition of being oneself or itself, and not another:

      3. condition or character as to who a person or what a thing is; the qualities, beliefs, etc., that distinguish or identify a person or thing: a case of mistaken identity; a male gender identity; immigrants with strong ethnic identities.

      5. the sense of self, providing sameness and continuity in personality over time and sometimes disturbed in mental illnesses, as schizophrenia.

      6. exact likeness in nature or qualities: an identity of interests.

      7. an instance or point of sameness or likeness:
      …………………………………………

You are a man or a woman. You look around, you see people who have ‘sameness’ or ‘likeness’ to you, i.e., male or female, and you see people who do not. On a purely subconscious level, everyone ‘identifies’ (to a greater or lesser extent) with those who are ‘like you’, because you “know” YOU best, and you are going to have things in common with other people “like you” that you will not have in common with those people who are not “like you”.

This is neither a ‘good’ thing or a ‘bad’ thing, it just IS.

      It is reality.

There are at least a few things we can do with a reality over which we have limited or no control.

We can fight it and rail against it. We can try to ignore it. We can live in denial of it.

But the one thing we cannot do about reality over which we have no control is to change it.

I like Kumbaya as much as the next person. I think ‘hugs’ are great, and we all need one sometimes. Probably even Clint Eastwood does, even if he would never admit it. Rodney King famously asked “Can’t we all just get along”?

We all wanted to say “yes!”, but having to ask the question means the answer is already known. To ask the question is to answer it.

I’m not advocating for or against anything here, I just wish there was more honesty in the public discourse, because if we can’t even identify or talk about certain realities, then we have doomed ourselves to making the same mistakes in perpetuity.

Maybe that’s what people want, I don’t know. Maybe denying certain realities is the lesser of two evils on some subconscious level, and maybe some people are more susceptible to it than others. I don’t know.

      But I do know this.

Ignoring or living in denial of reality doesn’t change that reality, and it doesn’t make that reality go away.

But it does give rise to various neuroses, government programs, social engineering experimentation, nearly infinite waste of tax dollars and resources, fraud, abuse, exploitation of differences and division for political gain, and a hundred other negative things if we took time to think about it long enough.

And most of it can be traced back to not wanting to look directly at what might turn out to be an uncomfortable reality.

The other day, someone posted the following statement, a very positive and hopeful statement with which I greatly concur:

America was great when it was a meritocracy, and it must be a meritocracy to be great again. No tribes, just the best and the brightest rising to the top, regardless of what they look like.”

I wish the world was like that.

I wish we could FIND a place like that.

      Which got me thinking.

Is there any example, anywhere in the world, where that has ever actually happened? Where multiculturalism and multiple different races have flourished together, on any long-term basis, in the history of the world?

If there was an example, it would come immediately to mind, we would know about it and be able to answer that question easily, wouldn’t we?

And if there is no example, if it has never happened before, anywhere, in the history of mankind… then who are we really foolin’ here, besides ourselves?

      And at what cost?

Has the nature and character of man changed since Adam?

Are we somehow different, or better, or more capable, or superior — morally, socially, intellectually or otherwise — to all of humanity which has come before us?

Or is that just something we would like to believe about ourselves?

      …………………………..
The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. [10] Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us. [11] There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9-11, KJV)

The forces of Anarchy are… not.

The only self-identified ‘anarchist’ I have ever spent any time talking with or trying to understand was a college age employee at a Stop ‘N Go convenience store and gas station. He drove a red Honda Civic that had stickers plastered all over it, expressing his anger toward just about everything.

He seemed like a regular guy, dressed and had the appearance of a regular campus Leftist, and his sympathies were with the Left, but he was pro-anarchy. He could never really explain what that meant or how it would actually work. It’s not that he was unintelligent, but like many younger people, he lacked the capacity to reason or express his view coherently.

In any event, he was a self-avowed ‘anarchist’, and all of his friends were too. They weren’t on the ‘conservative’ side of anything though. If they could be identified as being anywhere on the political spectrum, it was the far Left.

It was reported earlier the car that hurt so many people was getting its windows smashed by Antifa’s throwing rocks at it. It wouldn’t surprise me to find the driver simply panicked and hit the gas in an attempt to get away from the rock throwers that were damaging his car and endangering his life. A Dodge Challenger has a very torquey engine that can propel it quickly. He may not have had the mindset to hit the brakes until he was into the crowd of marchers. So, it’s entirely possible this carnage may not have been deliberate, but rather a product of Antifa violence.

No matter what the reason or driver’s intent, he’s in huge trouble and will now face years of serious legal problems.

I don’t know what it implies, but neither Faith nor Stephan seem to recognize that if he had stayed at the scene, that driver would be dead right now.

The windows would be smashed, he would have been pulled from the vehicle, and then beaten to death.

In the 20s, in the US, there was a wave of bombings caused by “anarchists” who were essentially Marxist/socialist/communist. (This led to the immigration restrictions that were lifted ~40 years later, in 1965.)

Marx had two goals. First, he hated his father and spent thousands and thousands of pages attacking him (indirectly). Second (and to enact the first) he wanted to end history. People are different, I can tell myself from you, and you from the next guy. Differences lead to conflict, as I may want something someone else has or is. Conflict leads to war, and wars get recorded as history. To end history/war/conflict, just make everyone the same, like ants. An ant doesn’t covet another ant’s stuff – they don’t have any stuff, everything belongs to the hive – communism.

Ants also don’t have police or laws or government – anarchy. Anarchists are communists that are focused on the goal, just like socialists are communists that are focused on selling communism by steps to people who really don’t want it.

        Anarchist = communist = Marxist = socialist = SJW

All have the same beliefs and the same goals. Same evil, different faces.

If you have to spend a lot of time with one, be prepared to listen over and over again to their story about how they are X and X isn’t Y. To balance it out, you’ll never, ever have to listen to them explain how X and Y are different. Actually, if you ever directly ask what the difference is, you’ll quickly discover that you are racist or sexist or something.

Fascinating about those bombings. I was not aware of those. It makes lots of sense.

Once I saw that Marxists were using alleged anarchists ANTIFA, it explained why anarchists became a problem in the late 19th century, and Marxists seemed not to affect us badly – the answer – they did.

Yes – I knew a number of Marxists who “switched” to anarchism, and interestingly they always seemed to have a very soft spot for Marxism, long after they no longer agreed with it. Mmmmm, hmmmm.

          2. This will play out big time for the Virginia Senatorial race In November of Tm Kain vs. Corey Stewart. Stewart supports the case to leave intact these monuments but disavows violence and supports freedoms of speech and protest without violence. Tim Kaine is now in a box, he comes out condemning conservatives and violence YET, his own son Linwood, got arrested and charged in Minnesota as a participant in violence against conservatives (he was one of those with a black facemask and ninja suit) . He has never disavowsed his actions or criticized the so called AntiFa ( a misnomer- sine they truly are the Fascists) for violence and violating the civil rights of conservatives.

Until we actually hear word from the government that ANTIFA and BLM are under investigation, we have to assume that large parts of the government are not in Trump’s hands. It would mean DOJ is OUT of Trump’s control, if they are NOT going after ANTIFA and BLM.

Once I know that for sure, that’s the end. We have to assume much of the government is now the enemy of the Constitution. DOJ, Mueller, FBI, CIA, State – and I may expand that to the NSC. We are in trouble.

Everyone else, if they were watching anything, was into sports, a cooking show, etc. And even the ones watching the news, I overheard one of them saying “Idiots!” when they showed the fighting (mostly Antifa and BLM types doing the bulk of it).

          Tea Party — 23%
          Republican — 18%

Actually it is very very basic. There are only two forms of government.

1,. A government BY the people formed to protect the RIGHTS of the individual no mater how weak or poor.

          2. A government FOR the Elite formed to exploit and enslave the general population for the EXCLUSIVE benefit of the chosen few.

Some interesting points on the UNI-PARTY:

“The chief problem of American political life for a long time has been how to make the two congressional parties more national and international. The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead the two parties should be almost identical, so the that American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.”

Quote from Tragedy and Hope, 1966 by Carroll Quigley, member of Council on Foreign Relations, mentor to Bill Clinton.

          Thomas L. Friedman
          September 8, 2009
          The New York Times

Watching both the health care and climate/energy debates in Congress, it is hard not to draw the following conclusion: There is only one thing worse than one-party autocracy, and that is one-party democracy, which is what we have in America today.

One-party autocracy certainly has its drawbacks. But when it is led by a reasonably enlightened group of people, as China is today, it can also have great advantages. That one party can just impose the politically difficult but critically important policies needed to move a society forward in the 21st century. It is not an accident that China is committed to overtaking us in electric cars, solar power, energy efficiency, batteries, nuclear power and wind power. China’s leaders understand that in a world of exploding populations and rising emerging-market middle classes, demand for clean power and energy efficiency is going to soar. Beijing wants to make sure that it owns that industry and is ordering the policies to do that, including boosting gasoline prices, from the top down.…

“Long-term readers will note that when media fuel carriers walk intently into this conflict space CTH does not.

CTH discusses events all along the political continuum and we hope to provide interesting information that can help make useful sense of the events occurring in day-to-day travels. We discuss political violence when either side of the equation engages in horrific action against ordinary citizens. However, when the two political and extremist polarities come into conflict, and media is gleefully swarming into the foray, we prefer to stay away from the toxic emotional cloud it creates.”

What Sundance has said here is truly beneficial for those who follow and post on this site. The information that we garner from this site educates and informs us to what these three polarities think, are doing and planning to do. Said information is a two sided coin. One is beneficial in that the truth void of hearsay is given freely to us. The other side is receiving the truth and getting drawn into the intellectual barren area of conflict. Once there we are susceptible to emotional responses which draw one away from the other side of the coin. Staying in the intellectual lane when attempting to understand what we read here, while it might take some time to understand it, insulates us from not only the emotional responses of the polarities but also is the pathway for us to be able to rise above their emotional rhetoric. It is a rhetoric that they systematically use to make people become emotional.

When we let this emotional cloud fog our intellectual thought process these people our happy. It is what they want for the populace. They don’t want the people to be level headed and focused on bringing real change to this nation. It is the one thing they are truly afraid of. This being the case it is best for those who support DJT and his transformative agenda for our country to steel their resolve and remain steadfastly in Cold Anger mode.

        SUMMARY
“Section 242 of Title 18 makes it a crime for a person acting under color of any law to willfully deprive a person of a right or privilege protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States.

For the purpose of Section 242, acts under “color of law” include acts not only done by federal, state, or local officials within the their lawful authority, but also acts done beyond the bounds of that official’s lawful authority, if the acts are done while the official is purporting to or pretending to act in the performance of his/her official duties. Persons acting under color of law within the meaning of this statute include police officers, prisons guards and other law enforcement officials, as well as judges, care providers in public health facilities, and others who are acting as public officials. It is not necessary that the crime be motivated by animus toward the race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status or national origin of the victim.

The offense is punishable by a range of imprisonment up to a life term, or the death penalty, depending upon the circumstances of the crime, and the resulting injury, if any.

Here’s my take on the left vs. the right. I think we will all agree that the majority of Trump voters/supporters would fall on the right. I know of no Trump supporters or voters who define themselves as leftists or liberals,

So, for the purpose of laying this out, I am going to identify those who support Trump and the constitution as “conservatives”. We know that some who claim to be conservatives are never Trumpers and globalists. But, let’s stick to the Trump supporters and voters: The anti-uniparty folks who are not liberals and who do not vote for democrats.

The MSM and the leftists (democrats, race peddlers, facists, marxists, commies, etc) all hate conservatives or any group not supporting them. Thus, Trump supporters were labeled deploreables by Hillary and the left. When the tea party was formed, it was labeled racist, homophobic, AND OTHER VILE NAMES. When the tea party held a rally on the mall, it was mocked and the dem. pols. claimed it was a gathering of white racists. When groups expressed opposition to Amnesty for illegals, and expressed opposition to the gang of eight amnesty bill, the gang of eight labeled them racists. When a tea party group showed up on the capitol to protest the Obama care legislation, Pelosi and congressman John Lewis reported that the group called Lewis the “N” word. The group denied that the “N” word was ever uttered and no one could ever produce any audio showing that the word was used. The IRS targeted conservative groups. Conservatives have always been branded racists and other names going as far back as Goldwater days. Conservatives are always going to be branded racists and other vile, evil creatures by the left. . Just accept it as a fact of life.

The branding and the violence against conservatives, mainly comprised of white heterosexual christian Americans, and the racist meme began to really rear its ugly head under Obama and his DOJ. Riots in Ferguson and Baltimore were directed against whites as much as it was directed against the police. The police, to the rioters were an extension of white power and white police officers were targeted. The black knockout games against whites. Black teen gangs rampaging through malls all across America, targeting whites. All, under Obama’s reign. The violence against whites at large has increased since Trump came on the political scene. Those attending Trump rallies have been the victims of attacks by BLM and antifa. Conservative speakers at Colleges/universities have been silenced and violence has ensued to shut them down. The police have stood down while the BLM and antifa have comitted violence against the white Trump supporters. And the fake news, the dims, and the uniparty apologists have done nothing to stem the violence. And not a word from any of them condemning the BLM or antifa. But plenty of words besmirching the Trump supporters.

We are at war. You can sit on your azz and stay silent or you can get engaged. You can let the anarchists take over or you can resist. The anarchists are rarely if ever arrested or punished. The politicians are scared shitless of them. That’s why they won’t condemn them and run to the cameras and mics. to condemn the conservatives. If the BLM and antifa wanted to overthrow the government, what’s to stop them? Thank goodness they may not realize their power. When they do, it is going to mean the death of scores of whites. There is enough hatred in the large ghettos across America to really be ginned up in a destructive, violent manner. Think Baltimore and Ferguson and Berkley and now Charlottesville in every large liberal city in America. If they ever get organized, really organized, it is going to be deadly. Trump is now the kindle for the fire. This is not the time to stay silent. You better hope the DOJ under Sessions does something about this anarchy.

A group had a permit to demonstrate. A constitutional right of free speech. You and I don’t have to agree w/their words or ideas and don’t have to support those words or ideas, but we do have to support their constitutional right to free speech. Because that right extends to all of us. When it is taken away from one group, it is taken away from all of us. Another group w/o permit attacked the group that had followed the law. The police stood by while the lawful group was attacked by the lawless group. The police supported anarchy. When the violence started against the group with the permit, the police had a duty to protect them. They could not be lawfully ordered to allow a crime of physical violence to be committed in their presence. They had a duty to disobey that stand down order. The fact that they did not disobey an unlawful order, places them as being derelict in performing their duty and makes them an accessory to the violence. They need to be sued to the max., and the DOJ needs to investigate their illegal actions as well as the Mayor’s and Governor’s.

Just a funny little thing that I can’t get out of my mind. Violent imbecile commies have been protesting in the streets for decades. They don’t have the sense to not play in traffic. So they get run over and people are supposed to cry? LOL. All I can think of is, “It’s about time.”

  32. “The issue today is the same as it has been throughout all history, whether man shall be allowed to govern himself or be ruled by a small elite.” -Thomas Jefferson

It won’t be popular for me to say this but I think SD’s chart (as well as others’) has made this discussion needlessly complex.

There is a linear political spectrum…on the left is individuals and local communities governing themselves. On the right is totalitarian communism from afar. Incidentally, national socialism (aka Nazism), as practiced by Hitler is simply totalitarian communism within a national context.

The communists seek to bring chaos and strife to individuals, families and local communities. They seek to destroy morality and culture, and bring foreigners in with their alien ideas and language to drive a wedge into local groups so that they become physically unable to govern themselves. If they succeed, ultimately the territory falls to “a small elite”, like the Clinton/Bush cabal, Lenin/Stalin, Mao, and so on.

There are no “anarchists”, from what I can tell. The anarchists are also simply communists by another name. The communists change their identity frequently (Used to be CPUSA, now its the mainstream Democratic Party. “Progressives”. SJWs. Antifa. They’re all communists). Since they trade in the art of deception in order to take over a polity from within, changing aliases is SOP for them.

But these are just the people you see, and they are mostly “useful idiots”. The ones you don’t see are the ones who fund them. They’re part of “the small elite”, and they are the ones that every ordinary American should demand their elected officials bring to justice. Nothing happens without money. If these people are brought in, the other groups will more or less vanish into the wind. The people funding these groups are the ones that want to make you a literal slave, and failing that, to replace you with someone else who can be an unwitting slave in your place.

The reason why we even have a political spectrum is because people exist who wish to enslave their neighbor so that they can live at his expense rather than work for themselves and pull their own weight.

Very much agreed. But I will say this – by the very complexity of the qualifications you have to make, you can see that politics is very complex and multidimensional. We can draw lines or circles to show certain symmetries, but none of them are “correct” in any sense of being close to complete.

Is it a particle? Is it a wave? Answer – it is what it is. Our ideas are only approximations, that trade the virtue of completeness for the power of simplicity.

Thus, I find all political diagramming useful, and none of it correct.

As I said above it is really really simple.

There are only two forms of government.
1,. A government BY the people formed to protect the RIGHTS of the individual no mater how weak or poor.
        2. A government FOR the Elite formed to exploit and enslave the general population for the EXCLUSIVE benefit of the chosen few.

The only thing that changes are the tricks the Elite use to convince the general population to accept slavery.

        Divine Right of Kings
        Communism/marxism
Islam which is religion and government rolled into one.
        Fiat currency
        brute force

        to mention a few.

Yes. THIS is the ultimate binary.

I marvel at how communism, as it becomes more and more pure, so frequently turns dynastic and ultimately monarchic, as in North Korea.

I should add that the radical left is very sensitive about this. Always a good arrow to keep ready.

      • I didn’t make any qualifications. I actually simplified the debate considerably – I called out all the disparate communist groups by their proper name: “communists”. Communists and their funders. There may be different flavors of communism, but that matters nothing when the chips are down and the nation is on the line.

Sorry – this was meant for the other thread. Although Vaughn oddly DID include the #Charlottesville hashtag, misspelled.

BTW – misspelled hashtags appear to be part of Twitter’s info-war. Bet there is a real story there. Politically differential hashtags.

Read something interesting on another site. There are questions about Jason Kessler, leader of Unite the Right protest. Apparently, his views changed drastically last November from Occupy and 2 term Obama supporter to being an activist leader for a far right group.

“Rumors abound on white nationalist forums that Kessler’s ideological pedigree before 2016 was less than pure and seem to point to involvement in the Occupy movement and past support for President Obama.

At one recent speech in favor of Charlottesville’s status as a sanctuary city, Kessler live-streamed himself as an attendee questioned him and apologized for an undisclosed spat during Kessler’s apparent involvement with Occupy. Kessler appeared visibly perturbed by the woman’s presence and reminders of their past association.”

There are also articles written for CNN from a Jason Kessler:
    http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2011/10/17/poll-most-new-yorkers-side-with-protesters/
    http://edition.cnn.com/2011/10/05/politics/occupy-wall-street/index.html?hpt=hp_t1

If Kessler has changed his political ideology, he truly did a 180. Kessler could be totally legitimate but the Left and Uniparty are so duplicitous that it makes me wonder.
