Good Grief – CNN Pushing To Get Steve Bannon Fired and Bannon “Allies” Now Helping CNN…

In the entire ridiculous enterprise of Steve Bannon -vs- HR McMaster the idiots on the #FireMcMaster side are ultimately going to end up delivering an exit for Steve Bannon. Then again, I repeat myself – SEE HERE

But seriously, if there was validity to the #FireMcMaster issues, which there isn’t, and if we supported the #FireMcMaster cause, which we don’t, anyone with any intelligence at all would drop the anti-McMaster premise during a high visibility national security crisis like North Korea.

Then again, we ain’t exactly talking about the sharpest tacks in the political toolbox.  And if you understand that dynamic, you’ll also understand the reason why Jake Tapper is pushing this story right now.

The real target is Steve Bannon. Cue the audio visual demonstration – WATCH.

.

And as unbelievable as it might seem, look at the useful tweet from one of Bannon’s media #FireMcMaster “supporters“.

Oh, so it is Steve Bannon who is orchestrating the voluminous hit articles against HR McMaster.

Good grief, these dolts are infected with doofism.

Predictably the professional political left know how to game out this dynamic.

The professionally democrat are much better political strategists; and they are more than happy to play along, knowing exactly what to do. Meanwhile, in their efforts to take down McMaster the useful idiots and battered conservatives in right-wing media are walking obliviously into a familiar trap.

The person the professional-political-left really want to target is Steve Bannon. Bannon represents everything the left-wing activists hate. They’ve already tried a few different approaches to take him down and isolate him from the presidency, with no measurable success.

[…]  It took about 24 hours for the professional left to identify the benefit, but as soon as they did they immediately took action to fuel the angst against McMaster. They know just how to play it out. Liberal activists are much more Machievellian-minded from years of tutelage at the knee of Alinsky’s ideologues.

They know e.x.a.c.t.l.y how to play this out, and create a Win/Win.

The real target is Bannon.

The professional-left know how to use the McMaster crisis as an opportunity to engage their real target. If leftists can help create a division between Bannon and McMaster they are more than willing to do so.

Ultimately they know if they can force a binary-choice between McMaster and Bannon, President Trump will have to choose HR McMaster.

The removal of Bannon, they predict, will infuriate the Trump base of support and ultimately provide the fracture needed to weaken the president.

HR McMaster has the support of General John Kelly, President Trump’s new Chief-of-Staff.

McMaster also has the support and confidence from: Defense Secretary General Mattis, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Joint-Chiefs Chairman General Joseph Dunford, Admiral Mike Rogers (NSA), Mike Pompeo (CIA) and ODNI Dan Coats.

Do you really think in a binary-choice between political strategist Steve Bannon and Nat/Sec Advisor HR McMaster, Prsident Trump is going to rebuke the most senior intelligence and security officials in his administration?

Think about it.

No, really. Stop and think about it.

Follow the anti-McMaster argument to its logical conclusion.

Do you really expect to see President Trump fire National Security Advisor HR McMaster?

The second National Security Advisor released in 200 days?

Right now, with the crisis with North Korea in every headline?

It’s not going to happen.

If the antagonism continues the only loser will be Steve Bannon.   The left-wing media and all of President Trump’s oppositional entities know this reality is at the end of the current path.

They couldn’t be happier.

            Yes, I get that.

What I don’t get is your seemingly contradictory statement that “the idiots who keep pushing this ridiculous storyline against McMaster.” (e.g. Stranahan) are doing so because ” Bannon is telling him to target McMaster. ”

I don’t recall you ever blaming Bannon for the attacks on McMaster. But now you’re placing the blame on Bannon himself, right?

I’m accepting what Lee Stranahan is saying.

Lee Stranahan is saying Bannon is instructing him to target McMaster.

So ultimately Stranahan is blaming Bannon.

Charles, I don’t blame you for misunderstanding and asking for clarification. SD seems to be frustrated about this topic and he’s not the only one. Dissension in the ranks is tough to deal with, especially when the dissenters are too stupid to understand what they’re doing, or worse, intentionally causing a ruckus to boost they’re own cult of personality which is what Lee Stranahan appears to be doing. It’s tough enough fighting against the misinformation and fake news from the other side, but then to have some of our supposed own do it and people and our side be fooled by them, it’s tough to deal with.

Cut SD some slack, everyone is human and can get frustrated and short tempered every now and then – even SD.

The point is Bannon seemingly does this every time he has serious disagreements with various people who do not worship at his feet and have a different opinion. How many hysterical campaigns led by BB have we lived through by now? And every time it is about Bannon vs. a villain du jour who must be fired immediately or else. Trump cabinet members are being trashed publicly by the people who are allegedly supporting Trump. Are they really?
This is not helpful, and it’s embarrassing, especially when the President says that he trust these people. Are they implying Trump is dumb? With friends like these, who needs enemies?

It is becoming increasingly difficult to believe that Bannon has nothing to do with these stupid campaigns. Bannon could have asked them to stop but he did not. Here is your answer.

I am sure Trump does not want to fire Bannon but if they keep embarrassing him like that, and he finds out that Bannon is leaking to BB, Trump might just decide that keeping Bannon is not worth it.

If Bannon is directing the troops, including Breitbart, then he’s not focusing on MAGA but his own goals. I thought the guy was smarter than that. What do the Mercers have to say about all this?

The next targets after Bannon are Gorka and Miller.
They’ve apparently given up on getting Conway fired (for now).
I’ve also noticed the slow warm-up to taking Ivanka out of the picture as well.

So while Mueller works his way up to Don Jr., Jared Kushner, and whoever else he can implicate, the media works its way around the West Wing sowing discord and picking off targets, one by one.

Gorka was on BBC Radio trying to differentiate for the press the roles of Secretaries of State and Defense and that Tillerson’s is diplomatic and Mattis military, so stop trying to create “daylight” between all of them and Trump by asking leading questions outside of their expertise.

            “Trump said…,”
“Do you agree with the statement of the president?”

Well then. This episode is a leadership test for our President. He surely knows the value of Bannon in his administration. He surely knows the insight Bannon has AND the lightning rod / trigger, that Bannon represents for the swamp and the Democrats and the media.

It’s PDJT’s call. SD is right in that if it comes to one or the other, Bannon will go. I’m willing to bet that it will only come to that IF, and only IF, the President decides to let it get that far. I’d say, the same mindset that tells us that the President just can’t let McMasters’ go at this juncture, also applies to letting Bannon go before the midterms.

That memo has been shown to be a parody of a white paper David Brock published on how to attack the Trump administration and/or GOP.

There’s a lot of info crystallized from crowd sourcing at twitter feeds like Thomas Wictor and Brian Cates that suggest this is a major psyops.

I would say the end game may be an attempt to take the leakers down via prior restraint claims, referring to exceptions noted in Near vs Minnesota. I think this would fall under the “yelling fire in a crowded theater”, type of condition where there are free speech limitations in regard to certain scenarios.

If a war breaks out, I definitely think it would up the ante on prosecuting leakers.

Prior restraint is a tough call, but they may be looking at the Pentagon Papers case again, where. although a loss for prior restraint, it was a pretty iffy decision.

Bottom line question would be if leakers are undermining national security by hindering the administration in fulfilling it’s security obligations.

It looks, too, that not only the MSM is the target for the operation, but pseudo alt-right authors like Cernovich as well. My thoughts have been that Cernovich was used as a patsy to be fed faked leaks to.

As Wictor/Cates or one of the commenters has said, with the internet, they don’t have to recruit spooks anymore, they can use bloggers as ‘assets’.

The DoD can handle the NorK gremlin situation just fine and McMaster can take a back seat. The NorK regime has been propped up by the Iranians for a long time and likely much of their recent activity has been funded by the pallet loads of cash sent to Teheran by the previous Administration. The optics of today should totally reinforce your points here, SD.
It’s McMaster standing beside Trump today before the cameras while Bannon is stuck in D.C. staring at his office walls and a whiteboard.

The president may not outright fire Bannon, for obvious reasons, but Trump can guarantee he spends his workdays lonely and neglected, wondering if it’s worth it over a personal vendetta.

There are subtle hints and then there are HINTS.

  30. I think instead of attacking “Bannon acolytes”, this group or that group etc… we should be making efforts to talk those who could be on our side of MAGA into slowing down, taking deep breaths and simply doing some (more?) critical thinking about UNIPARTY, and the tactics used by them and by globalist/deep state/media to divide and conquer any and everyone that is actually rooting for and working toward the MAGA principles and ultimate goals.

Once the name calling starts, or the mocking/ridiculing my personal spidey senses tingle (or it’s just a sick feeling in my gut!) and all I can think of is globalist banksters loving every minute of the chaos… Instead of calling others idiots, useful or otherwise, morons, etc. and instead of making comments like “this is so ridiculous” in public, why not send a message behind the scenes and at least try to discuss what makes you think so and why, and with an open ear to the other person(s)???

Anytime it appears that lil billy kristol meth is “more comfortable with blah, blah, blah” or feels “safer” with so and so around Trump red flags fly in all directions for me. I’m reminded that the phony parties don’t care who dominates as long as the globalist goals are achieved, and that there isn’t a dime’s worth of difference where our nation is concerned considering destruction between the “neocon”/”neolib” aspects of kabuki theater.

Simply put, let’s not create a new problem around an old or current issue that may or may not end up affecting MAGA and/or Trump’s performance in the White House. We aren’t the left, we aren’t the neocon “right”, right? 😉 I’m far from anything remotely resembling perfect in any way, but I can see the things I am referring to happening in the least likely places I would ever think I would…

Normally I consider TCT as the truth on everything, but I have to turn reality upside-down to go along with this article.

#1. Ben Garrison, the pro-Trump cartoonist, believes McMaster is a threat (google his name + McMaster to see his cartoon). So point 1 is I have to believe Ben Garrison is entirely misinformed.

#2. Israeli intelligence is claiming they intercepted communication between McMaster and Soros, as reported by InfoWars and Roger Stone and Cernovich, so point 2 is I have to believe all those 3 entities are severely misinformed..

#3. Breitbart itself has been trying to nail McMaster bigly. One would assume that Bannon still has an inkling of influence over Breitbart, or that at a minimum Breitbart would act on behalf of Bannon even without his asking, so if the grand plan is to out Bannon by outing McMaster then why is Breitbart working so hard to out Bannon? Makes no sense.

#4. All the pro-Trump people being fired by McMaster like Rich Higgins, McMaster pushing for the ground war in Syria, all the facts at McMasterFacts.com, accusations he is pro-Islam, etc. meanwhile keeping all Obama holdovers … all these must be swept aside as nonexistant because Sundance never addresses a single one of them directly.

#5. What conservative sources defend McMaster beyond TCT? Not Breitbart. Not Infowars. Not Gateway Pundit. To believe TCT here I have to disbelieve every other pro-Trump organization.

Ok so here I am, bending reality. Here I ready to disbelieve everyone else in order to believe TCT. Now, bending and warping reality to believe TCT’s spin on this topic, completely ignoring all anti-McMaster truths or news to the contrary, what’s the big reason McMaster is being targeted unfairly?

Because it creates odds between McMaster and Bannon and its a foregone conclusion that if those two don’t like each other, Bannon is expected 100% to be fired by Trump? What if I were to say that, even if Trump and McMaster don’t get along, neither being fired is more likely? Is this the only benefit to warping reality to believe TCT here … that it avoids Bannon inevitably being fired?

Is McMaster so essential that Trump woud never fire him? I’m not convinced it matters, if it does then make the case. The MSM is delusional and is going to be making entirely awful news about Trump regarding anything, whether its Russia collusion or firing McMaster neither is particularly more damning.

How about if I were to say Trump is pretty smart and wouldn’t fire Bannon if he thought he was useful, and would fire him if he thought he wasn’t useful, and it wasn’t dependent on his relationship with McMaster? I can do that without having to disbelieve every other conservative source.

Every other article from TCT I consider spot-on and brilliant, but this one just makes no sense to me whatsoever, and Sundance never lifts a finger to address any of the multiple concerning issues with McMaster so I’m just going to say I think McMaster being dismissed wouldn’t be so bad.

Yes, but … the only argument put forth so far as to why every other conservative source of information is wrong about targeting McMaster is that …

          1) McMaster is impossible to fire because of bad optics (which I’m not buying, and Trump has bad optics no matter what he does because MSM spins everything bad)

and 2) Bannon will absolutely be fired and that’s the only goal of targeting McMaster (I might buy it … but give me a reason to. Why disbelieve every conservative source and imagine McMaster as indispensable? What has he done for Trump?)

Trump fires people. He’s fired Flynn and for enough of a valid reason that it makes sense, even if some don’t like it. He’s fired Priebus which makes sense as most people believe he’s a leaker. He’s fired Scaramucci because (pick your reason, many valid ones).

Now answer this. He’ll fire Bannon because __________. There is no reason. This whole targeting McMaster certainly has nothing to do with Bannon … if Breitbart is still influenced by Bannon and if Bannon knows targeting McMaster would create a hostile environment that would get himself fired, all he need to do is pick up the phone and call Joel Pollak and tell him to knock it off and problem solved.

I think it’s sad that some people on “our side” think they have the comprehensive information and the big picture understanding to manage our presidents administration, even when it means disagreeing with decisions he’s made.

Who the hell do you people think you are? You’re given some information that may or may not be accurate or complete and then told what to think of it based on someone else’s opinion, someone who you have no idea what their true motivation is. Do you really think Stranahan, whether he’s being led by Bannon or not, should be leading a mini-revolt against a person the president has placed his trust in? Do you think that’s helping our president, as if Trump is too stupid or preoccupied with other things so he needs the #fireMcMaster crowd to help him make a better personnel decision. Really? If yes, then you’re basically saying you would rather have Bannon or Stranahan as president because they can make better decisions than Trump. Is that what you think?

I don’t think we should by sycophantic – sheep being mindlessly led. I think we should be clear thinking and have a measure of skepticism on everything Trump does just like we should with anyone we don’t personally know and trust. But I also believe we should give the benefit of the doubt to the guy we gave our trust to lead our nation and as far as I know there is nothing McMaster or Bannon has done to hurt our president or our nation.

Throwing gas on the fire and making life more more difficult for the president is not helpful. Either you trust him or you don’t.
