The only thing President Donald Trump is “guilty” of is winning on November 8th. That is the “crime” that the opposition media will NEVER forgive.

Today may not seem like a good day based on media reporting but it was a good day.

Nevertheless, due to Sessions recusal, the failure by the GOP to fight back earlier to support the President, and the collusion of the fake media to generate and promote a false narrative, we nevertheless ended up with a special counsel. This despite the fact that it has been stated many times that zero evidence actually exists that T45 or his campaign colluded with the Russians or later obstructed justice in any way. And futher despite the fact that the Trump campaign was illegally surveilled, Trump associates where illegally unmasked, actions of the T45 administration have been illegally leaked, and media networks have published completely false Russia stories based on anonymous sources that are now being proven to be blatantly false.

Because the special counsel exists, this is not over and the media will keep the story alive until there is no more special counsel. We must keep up the fight! Keep contacting your GOP reps and let them know that we have the President’s back, that this false Russia creation is now over, that they need to get on with #MAGA, elections are coming.

Keeping up the fight is important. But everyday it becomes clearer that this was a set up by the Dems to destroy our President. I believe that Trump will do everything he promised because after this fiasco more Republicans will stand with him and all people want is to move on from Obama and Make This Nation Great Again. As Europe is attacked over and over there is no way we can be denied a temporary hold on Illegal Immigrants. Better times are coming although we can never trust The Dems again.

    Holy Crap!

McCain exposed Comey’s true nature! Who would ever guess that McCain would be the one to destroy Comey’s White Knight image?!

McCain asked Comey if C asked Trump to elaborate on what “this thing” was … President Trump said to Comey, well you know we have this thing…”. Didn’t you ask him what “this thing” was?

By answering no, Comey PROVED how political he is – he let it slide, shining the President on so that he’d be able to have plausible deniability in the future. If he had cared AT ALL about the country he would have said, “well Mr President I don’t want to have to guess what do you mean exactly?”

As a true D.C. Insider /Operator, Comey let it go so he could “please” the President at the time AND protect his own future.

Comey’s Original Sin was letting Lynch use him.

I stated this previously and I state it again. As we get closer to the end if this “matter” the Republicans who have been undermining President Trump are realigning themselves to the right side of this issue. When it’s over, they want to be seen on the side of the president in order to get re-elected.

In other words, they are abandoning ship.

These attacks on Trump will die on the vine and people will be concerned about attacks by ISIS, North Korea and their Nukes, The Wall and jobs. We had 17 other Republicans running for the Presidency. Only Trump could have won this race and only Trump is strong enough to win the fight against Fake News and the Dims. Don’t lose faith he’s all we have — if Britain had Trump as Prime Minister it would be a different ballgame.

Why the GOPe isn’t pushing back on the fact that the Russian Hacking occurred on Obama’s watch is inexplicable.

The Russian collusion meme is fake news. It should be a dead dog, but Comey breathed some life into it this morning. It will be up to Mueller to clear this issue.

Napolitano can’t keep the facts he just heard during the hearing straight. He’s losing it a bit. Confusing the Flynn matter with the larger allegations of Russian blah blah. Implies that Trump asked Comey to stop Russian investigation, when all Trump did was agree that the investigation should be thorough, and ask that the TRUTH come out, which is that Trump was not personally under investigation.

      Liked by 1 person

  16. I believe the McCain has a valid point in his question. But is to feeble minded to articulate it.

The Russians were involved in trying to influence the election.
The focus is the Trump and his campaign colluding with the Russians.

But just as easily, the Clinton campaign could have also colluded with them.
Leaking stories and information about Trump to any number of sources to get the Russians attention.

Just because on the surface it didn’t work, doesn’t meant they weren’t also a part of it.
Why isn’t that part of the investigation also? Are they looking into Hillary and her campaign for Russian connections?

The election was between two people. Both could easily have been part of any Russian collusion.
So why the focus of only one side?
Because it didn’t work for her doesn’t mean it didn’t happen is the point.

I don’t even know what “influencing the election” is supposed to mean. I’m not even sure they wanted Trump, as Clinton is corrupt and bribe-able and so might have better served their ends. While I watched most, but not all of the hearing, this morning was very good for the president. I don’t get all the handwringing here.

The president made an unforced error talking to Comey one on one at dinner, however I chalk that up to a new president who is not a politician. Furthermore, Comey confirmed that neither the president nor anybody else followed up on the “Let the Flynn matter go”. Republican Senators did a good job of getting Comey on the record with concise answers that vindicated the president in many ways.

However, going forward the president has to start governing and he has to lay off the tweets that only get him into trouble. I know this is a Trump cheerleading site, but the American public is becoming exhausted and exasperated with his undisciplined nature, not to mention no legislative victories (which I blame on the GOP congress).

And before anyone throws out the “T word”, I voted for the president, I support the president, and I want the president to succeed, but those in the center who decide our elections will just as easily vote for someone like Kamala Harris if the president is unable to show that he can govern. The perception is chaos and it must change or he will be a one-term president.

Biggest lie of the day: When asked why he didn’t go to the AG with this stuff, he says “I was stunned.” Big tough FBI chief, law enforcement guy, was “stunned” that somebody might put in a word for a friend? He lied.

Note also: In his written statement his purported reason for not going to Sessions was because he thought Sessions would recuse himself. Today (and probably not coincidentally after Sundance blows up the possibility of that being true) Comey omits all reference to that, at least from what I saw (may have missed it, of course).

I was certainly hoping that somebody would specifically hit him up on this “I thought Sessions would recuse” nonsense.

In my opinion, Comey was simply not believable in much of his testimony.

Comey stated he didn’t feel comfortable around Trump, and didn’t like his personality/behavior and thought TRUMP is a liar, so he documented everything, and although he thought Trump was a slimeball, smiled and “acted nice”. No wonder Trump didn’t trust this guy, he is a weasel. I guess those Senators are weasels too, so they didn’t catch what Comey thought of trump, coming into the first meeting with Trump.
