WikiLeaks Releases “Vault7” Details of CIA Data Intrusion, Monitoring, Tracking and Collection…

(Via WikiLeaks) Today, Tuesday 7 March 2017, WikiLeaks begins its new series of leaks on the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency. Code-named “Vault 7” by WikiLeaks, it is the largest ever publication of confidential documents on the agency.

The first full part of the series, “Year Zero”, comprises 8,761 documents and files from an isolated, high-security network situated inside the CIA’s Center for Cyber Intelligence in Langley, Virgina. It follows an introductory disclosure last month of CIA targeting French political parties and candidates in the lead up to the 2012 presidential election.

Recently, the CIA lost control of the majority of its hacking arsenal including malware, viruses, trojans, weaponized “zero day” exploits, malware remote control systems and associated documentation. This extraordinary collection, which amounts to more than several hundred million lines of code, gives its possessor the entire hacking capacity of the CIA. The archive appears to have been circulated among former U.S. government hackers and contractors in an unauthorized manner, one of whom has provided WikiLeaks with portions of the archive.

“Year Zero” introduces the scope and direction of the CIA’s global covert hacking program, its malware arsenal and dozens of “zero day” weaponized exploits against a wide range of U.S. and European company products, include Apple’s iPhone, Google’s Android and Microsoft’s Windows and even Samsung TVs, which are turned into covert microphones.

Since 2001 the CIA has gained political and budgetary preeminence over the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA). The CIA found itself building not just its now infamous drone fleet, but a very different type of covert, globe-spanning force — its own substantial fleet of hackers. The agency’s hacking division freed it from having to disclose its often controversial operations to the NSA (its primary bureaucratic rival) in order to draw on the NSA’s hacking capacities.

By the end of 2016, the CIA’s hacking division, which formally falls under the agency’s Center for Cyber Intelligence (CCI), had over 5000 registered users and had produced more than a thousand hacking systems, trojans, viruses, and other “weaponized” malware. Such is the scale of the CIA’s undertaking that by 2016, its hackers had utilized more code than that used to run Facebook. The CIA had created, in effect, its “own NSA” with even less accountability and without publicly answering the question as to whether such a massive budgetary spend on duplicating the capacities of a rival agency could be justified.

In a statement to WikiLeaks the source details policy questions that they say urgently need to be debated in public, including whether the CIA’s hacking capabilities exceed its mandated powers and the problem of public oversight of the agency. The source wishes to initiate a public debate about the security, creation, use, proliferation and democratic control of cyberweapons.  (continue reading for full details)

The harpies at work, in their anti-Trump furor, are casting great doubt on this Wikileaks thingymabob, whatever it’s called, because CNN isn’t talking about it so it can’t be true. I hear stuff like, “If it’s true,” etc., it’s a Trump conspiracy to throw people off the Russian hacking, etc., and all I want to do is shout, “Wikileaks has never been wrong!”

A major point that is not getting much attention is that the CIA lost control of their billion dollar spy arsenal according to wikileaks.

Even if you trust the CIA to be responsible with such awesome power (I don’t) you cannot ignore the fact that these weapons are in the hand of unknown bad actors already.

You have to pause and think for a moment. With all this advanced stealth technology—the intelligence services must actually be pretty inept. With ALL those tools at their fingertips, they still couldn’t manage to get a “win” for Hildebeast!

There are good ones out there. With huge targets 🎯 on their back. Obama, Clinton, McCain want them dead.

Other countries stepped in. Time for a way to bring them home (protected) safe.

They planned on getting a win for Hillery. What happened to stop it was the white hats working in NSA, the Military and white hats in other agencies stopped it. And, 2000 was when Bush Jr., the globalist took office. The CIA has long been run by the Bush family. Pappy Bush ran it and the agency has been used by them to do their dirty deeds. Color revolutions were done by the CIA without oversight. This is an agency that has more power than the president and is not elected and answers to no one. Time to defund it and shut it down..There is good reason to believe this is the agency that did the spying on Trump

    • Never underestimate the will of the electorate. Trump was unbeatable when he said he was going to kick out the illegals. I was on board with Cruz and kept waiting for him to say it and he never did. When Trump did, I jumped ship. The ONLY people in America that don’t know that 85% of Americans want the GD illegals GONE are in DC, LA and NY and it’s not racism, xenophobia, islamophobia or nativism. It’s MONEY. We’re tired of paying the bill for people who aren’t here legally. Come here legally or stay home. Don’t come here and try to turn America into the toilet you left behind by not assimilating because we CAN kick all of you out. Get legal or GTFO!!

This all ties in with the EO Obama signed 17 days before leaving the WH, giving 16 intelligence agencies access to raw data. Obama et al knew Trump would find out he was being spied on so they had to cover how they were leaking. If they did get a FISA warrant then it was a cover for the broader surveillance being carried out in secret via the CIA. I’m wondering if Trump was given a heads-up by WikiLeaks about Vault7 and that’s why he tweeted Saturday? He was preempting the Wiki dump and justifying setting up an investigation into the CIA via this expose. Trump knows the CIA are full of Obama spies trying to bring him down and what better way to destroy them and their operations than to expose them publicly?

    Just my thoughts.

Roberts, who may well be compromised by his Samsung TV, made the picks.

Over 10,000 FISA warrants have been requested. Only TWO were rejected.

Why even bother with this rubber-stamping circus?

“Whole new level,” This is not whole new level, this is more than nuclear political war, it is not going to stop at politics, the self funding CIA is no longer a government agency, it is Rogue, off the reservation. This is an agency with resources that are unknown, and could be trillions. After all trillions have disappeared. Yes, disappeared.

By the way Sundance’s comment that CIA = Microsoft, Apple Cisco, Google (including Youtube), should be expanded to include Twitter, Facebook, & Reddit, plus all legacy media.

It is likely that the stock ownership is unknown.

The CIA has become a huge criminal organization. Perhaps the NSA has an idea who is really running the CIA? CFA? Bush Sr.?

This was written so well. It really shows putting out Clapper to say there was no FISA warrant and the press and Obamaa cabal pivot to Coney and Clapper said there was no warrant, no investigation.

Now we see the NSA and FBI was the distraction, it was the CIA’s hacking agency, that no one in the public really knew about. No warrant needed for CIA surveillance

Has anyone seen Brennan? He loved being the anonymous Federal source to Wapo and NYT or giving expert input on stories that smeared Trump or Flynn with the FAKE NEWS russiian collusion

This uncovering by Wikileaks is going to be eye opening!

I could never understand why my last new iphone over the last 2.5 years would just operate on its own right after my purchase of it. I used to call it the ghost phone! It would call people, text people, take pictures on its own, etc. etc.. The weirdest thing is that my phone totally went berserk when I went to DC to work the inauguration. It prevented me from getting in at times and I had to shut it down at one point when in DC because I caught a hacking attempt. The phone eventually locked me out while out there by entering incorrect numbers for my passcode multiple times when I tried to access it. Lost all my pics and video from President Trump’s inauguration that I took with it. Took it to Apple when I got back home and it was now permanently disabled and no one could access it so Apple gave me a replacement phone.

Simultaneously my laptop also started acting up and I had permanent WiFi access issues. Sometimes you wonder was all this just a coincidence or payback monitoring for all the times I posted negatively about Obama and the previous government on social media. Sometimes you wonder!

“In the wake of Edward Snowden’s leaks about the NSA, the U.S. technology industry secured a commitment from the Obama administration that the executive would disclose on an ongoing basis — rather than hoard — serious vulnerabilities, exploits, bugs or “zero days” to Apple, Google, Microsoft, and other US-based manufacturers……..

…..“Year Zero” documents show that the CIA breached the Obama administration’s commitments. Many of the vulnerabilities used in the CIA’s cyber arsenal are pervasive and some may already have been found by rival intelligence agencies or cyber criminals.”

the U.S. technology industry secured a commitment from the Obama administration that the executive would disclose on an ongoing basis — rather than hoard — serious vulnerabilities,

Any commitment the techies obtained from Obama was worthless from the get go. The CIA didn’t cooperate, because they were never required or expected to. Obama wasn’t going to give up his peephole either. He had a perfect techno-dictatorship. IMO…all theater.

After watching the word parsing over the last 24 hours, I’m even more suspicious Loretta is going to be the fall gal. More expendables to follow. Take down Jarrett and the whole ball of yarn unravels. We can only hope the sacrificial players will sing a clear song.

The buck stopped on the Resolute Desk. Obama/Jarrett wanted to “rule”. They did. They got caught. May there be full, rule-of-law justice served.

It’s outrageous. And yet I’m still not seeing the outrage among many people. People still aren’t informed about this? I recently returned to Facebook because that’s where the March 4 Trump people were organizing. I posted something about Vault 7 yesterday, and only my few new hard-core March for Trump friends cared or commented. Everyone else seems to just be continuing on with their snail and puppy memes. What is it going to take to wake the American people up? I thought this would be enough!

I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that more people turned their TVs off during Trumps Inauguration than for Obama’s. It was also lower for other days at that time slot. (Neilson ratings)

There is no accounting for anyone watching it on other devices. While it was not-so-published, Samsung has not released their figures but not that the cat is out of the bag, they just might.

The same rumors went around when Neilson started placing their “set boxes” out to monitor channel selection. CIA involvement? I gotta chuckle out of that one…
