Needs to add CAIR as they are getting as bad as Muslim Brotherhood.
Both CAIR and MB (and Soros) have been key in the protests against the EO for immigration pause.

Yes, it is. I also hope he shuts down CAIR, their subsidiaries and the Saudi funding of mosques and Islamic centers.

Lord be with Trump and us patriots.

Love President Trump, a man who is keeping his word! That means so much to me, because after 8 years of lies and deceit it felt like this country would never recover from the oppressive actions of the liberal politically correct left.

Having an interview on Pat Robertson’s Christian Network is brilliant. It is a small audience but these are Trump´s base. A even smaller audience would be ETWN but it would be so uplifting for Catholics because we are overwhelmed by liberal Pope Francis. We have very long memories and they say Catholics voted 52% for Donaldus Magnus. From what I see in our parishes in California that number seems hard to believe, but it would be also be a good move to address Globalism at its Vatican fortress. Pope Francis has not been a friendly adversary but since American Catholics pay for the Universal Church many of US want to walk with the President we were given through our devoted prayers. Just saying…

That small CBN audience has a spectacular reach in that they talk with others who are not in their ‘bubble’. Nevertheless, I agree it was good for Trump to do the interview with Brody.

The EWTN interview is an excellent idea. Perhaps the Mother Angelica biographer (darn, his name eludes me–a regular on Laura Ingraham) could do the interview. He is sharp, thoughtful, low key.

Hate to say it US, but the pope (we Anglican Catholics call him respectfully “The Bishop of Rome”) is a RED. He isn’t liberal. He’s a South American Marxist. You guys had a great guy as pope in Benedict, a real intellect, but like the Dem Bolsheviks are trying to do with Trump the Roman Bolsheviks convinced Benedict to resign because the Muslims didn’t like him. Or at least that’s how it looked to me. Christianity is quickly becoming a Leftist political party — not just the Roman Catholics but the Episcopalians, Methodists, Lutherans. The Church Reverend Wright belonged to is all about politics (my sister-in-law is a member of that sect and she’s to the left of Lenin). This is the reason the Evangelicals are the only religious group increasing membership — it’s because they still worship God not The State.

Well said. Exactly why my DH and I gave up caring about “being Lutheran” about thirty years ago. There are some small Lutheran groups (and certainly individuals) who escape the leftism, but the larger Lutheran bodies are gone – hook, line, and sinker, and have been for decades.

This is really a reply to both you and Sharon….

I work for a well known “Reformed” seminary here in the south – just from talking to students and those that are looking to go into ministry most if not all of them site these same issues as a reason for coming to us for their postgrad degree. There are many people, young and old, who are hungry for real biblical teaching – not just some pseudo-political ideology. As such we (this seminary) attract members from all types of denominational backgrounds (including Anglicans and Lutherans), even though there is a predominantly Presbyterian student population that attends. The “Reformed” faith has seen a dramatic resurgence over the past decade and the Reformed Presbyterian/Reformed Baptist denominations have likewise seen a rise in their congregations even into the Northern/Northeast regions of the country.

I often wonder will Trump be an instrument in the next great American awakening – hearkening back to the one seen in the 50’s and 60’s under Billy Graham, et. al.

When you consider the conservative Christian base was probably key in president Trump being elected, that is why doing this interview was so important. He’s able to talk about what the administration has accomplished in a such a short period of time and the obstacles he is facing in getting many of the cabinet picks confirmed.

    This was a good interview.

Such a breath of fresh air to have an interviewer who is not antagonistic!! I watched the follow-up conversation between David & the news anchor along with the remainder of their news show. Did I hear correctly that David has done 10 interviews with President Trump?

Fnally, a respectful interviewer. When a question is asked and answered, Brody moves on instead of asking it 3x more. I watched him sitting in the last row at Spicer’s Presser, and finally got to ask a question – respectfully. Not a ‘gottcha’ one. Seemed grateful to be called to do this interview. TY Brody for represented CBN & Christians well

  13. This is what wall interviews of the President should be like. A sensible worded questions with no grandstanding and pontificating – wait for the answer. Next question or a quick clarification. Lovely.

Does anyone know if we have ever had a sitting President who has done an interview with CBN before?

    • HolyLoly says:

I can’t recall. A google search turns up nothing. Most sitting presidents would shy away from CBN because of its overt religious programming and views.

The founder of CBN, Pat Robertson, though, is very involved politically and knows most of the Washington politicians. Regent University — founded by Robertson –had most all of the Republican primary candidates on campus for interviews last year in front of the student body.

Hate to compare, but this is 180° from Obama’s Jeremiah Wright and/or Indonesian Madrasa. Dubya was good but not even close in this type of interview. Many up-close and personal insights. Like tweets –140 – 280 — to expand thoughts (I noticed often), so good.

    More to come. Much more.

  20. I was surprisingly glad David Brody asked about why crowd size is important to him because it gave President Trump an opportunity to articulate why he cared so much to set the record straight. His answer was spectacular!

He said it’s because the media, who have pushed most American’s into the shadows, was trying to once again ignore the “forgotten men and women” who voted for him by downplaying their attendance at the Innauguration. He said he wanted to make sure they knew they weren’t forgotten anymore. Wow!!! Thank you Mr. President!

Agree. I found his answer very interesting. Besides the obvious (the media attempting to minimize his support and thereby advance their narrative of delegitimizing our duly elected president) I had not realized the issue about the “forgotten men/women” of his answer.
The media are loathsome! and they deserve all the negative press/PR they get. They have done a disservice to the American people and are authoritarian in their ideology.
They won’t have an honest discussion about facts. They think that their role is to “shape” opinion as opposed to reporting the facts!
      I don’t believe a word they say/print at all!

“…Trump’s Archilles’ heel is his belief in the “Muslim threat,” an orchestrated threat cooked up by the neoconservatives. If Trump wants to defeat ISIS, all he needs to do is to stop the US government and CIA from funding ISIS. ISIS is Washington’s creation, used to overthrow Libya and sent to Syria to overthrow Assad until the Russians intervened….

The same people who march against Trump and condemn his Muslim ban do not march against the wars that produce the Muslim refugees and immigrants. Trump’s opponents are in the illogical position of supporting the “war on terror” and the 9/11 story on which the war is based, but objecting to the ban on entry of “Muslim terrorists” into the US. If Muslims are terrorists as the Bush/Obama narative claims, it is totally irresponsible to admit into the US Muslims harmed by Washington’s attacks on their countries who might have thoughts of revenge…”

  22. free73735 says:

Keeping in mind, this interview is about President Trump & not which branch of the church he or I am in, or like or don’t like, his statement about recognizing the seriousness of the “power” of the office he is in said much. He fully understands it is not like deciding where to put a hotel. He truly realizes decisions made, have lasting effects on mass people. He realizes w/out God, he cannot do the job well! That in itself offers major comfort for us in America.
