Excellent summation. VDH was anything but FOR Donald Trump. He echoed his Uniparty colleagues at NR. Now he has opened his brilliant mind and seems to be paying attention.

Trump didn´t get where he is by being a dope. He is smart, just not in the way the arrogant establishment (of both parties) defines smart; which is mostly agreeing with them.

Trump listens to people and recognizes that smart people heap lots of junk on an issue and it becomes incomprehensible. The common man goes to the heart of the matter, ignoring the “experts”, and is mostly right. The more complex experts try to make an issue, the more likely they are wrong, hiding something, and/or pushing an agenda.

Another thing Trump knows. Washington is usually NOT the answer. Often Washington is the problem. Part of Trump´s solution is simply to withdraw the heavy and unnecessary hand of Washington from the People´s activities.

And best of all, Trump is not ashamed by his simple and clear thinking. The PC establishment has tried to keep people from voicing their ideas; “You can´t say THAT!”; continually expanding the net of forbidden topics. They are now at the point of trying to shut down any speech that they disagree with. But Trump just won´t shut up! And what he says makes the establishment look like dopes.

That´s the most egregious thing Trump does – making them look foolish. They can´t stand it and go nuts trying to deal with it. It´s a beautiful thing.

Art of the Deal should be required reading.

There’s still something insulting (deeply, in fact) about the central idea of that article. “Animal instinct” serves to mask the author’s ontological aggression towards Trump: he CANNOT class himself in the same category of beings (human beings) Trump (who he reduces to a cunning beast, something of a monster, sub- or extra-human)

The very first thing I did when Trump announced was order “The Art of the Deal” on my Kindle. I learned a LOT about him from that book. I learned he never used pollsters, consultants or focus groups when looking at properties and deals. He would talk to the average person that lived in the area and ask questions. So when they started the “no ground game” complaints, I knew what he was doing.

I also learned that he has a very unusual way of tackling problems, thinking way outside the box.

I also learned that he knew about everyone in New York, in resort areas, in Hollywood, etc. I figured he knew a lot more about what was going on than the press were telling me, since they seemed to think he was a buffoon.

I am telling you guys, the man is very smart and hides it under an “everyman” public personality, which he uses to his advantage.

Hanson is right, but it’s a shame it took him so long to catch on.

Fired Top Scientist to Advance Climate Change Plans

Investigation claims Obama admin retaliated against scientists, politicized DoE

The investigation concluded that “DoE placed its own priorities to further the president’s Climate Action Plan before its constitutional obligations to be candid with Congress,” the report states. “The DoE’s actions constitute a reckless and calculated attack on the legislative process itself, which undermines the power of Congress to legislate. The committee further concludes that DoE’s disregard for separation of powers is not limited to a small group of employees, but rather is an institutional problem that must be corrected by overhauling its management practices with respect to its relationship with the Congress.”

For lefties like Eichenwald? They probably bribed the judge to expedite the “order”

disclaimer: kidding about bribing a judge. Humongous “campaign contributions” are another story.

The ID tracking disclosure by Twitter is notable: they track every IP a user ever logs in with. Bet Fakebook and Google do the same thing.

Wonder if Twitter is as helpful with USSS requests for info on the threats against Trump?

Hope Trump takes time for a round of golf, during the Christmas vacation at Mar-a-Lago.

He deserves it, and probably needs it.

      • Dave Radetsky says:

I doubt he needs it. People like Trump thrive on business and I’d bet all this work energizes him.

While the Obama state media adores his golfing vacations plus his half-day-out of the Oval Office golf outings. they still give him cover. If President-Elect or President Donald Trump were to play even one round of golf, the Fakestream optics would be non-stop above-the-fold.

The comparison between Obama and Trump on every conceivable topic will always fall down on the side of BHO for the next 8 years, and after that the Pence Presidency will get the same work-over.

Democrats ponder the unthinkable: 60 GOP senate seats in 2018
So the Democrats are largely down in the dumps after yesterday’s Electoral College results. Not only did Trump get certified as the next POTUS, but Hillary Clinton actually lost ground in the total EC vote spread. But on the bright side, the worst is over, right? The bandage has been ripped off and the healing can begin. I mean… it can’t actually get any worse than this, can it?

So very glad John Bolton is NOT our SOS!
On Lou Dobbs he just said our constitution is a “quaint” practice.

He also described the USA as “just one out of 142 countries in the UN.” And indicated that for that reason he seems not to think the US is particularly special, but he could see how we ought to be allowed to keep our constitution and our ideals and all those quaint practices that we have.

John Bolton! If you read here, I hope you know how disgusting you sounded! Anti-American as you can be, pompous and self-aggrandizing. You have earned my disgust!

This song was a gentle begging and in the original movie there were 2 couples. One couple had the woman trying to convince the man to stay and the other couple was the man trying to convince the man. Since both male and female were presented as the convincer in different couples I don’t think it was a song about a man trying to date rape.

Also, Why does everyone assume that if she stays a little bit longer there will be sex, date rape or consensual?

Lastly, gentle convincing (not physically restraining, of course) allows the woman to demure and then agree. If she agrees to a gentle suggestion then maybe she just wanted to be convinced or to at least appear modest, demure and appropriate. I did it back in my dating days.

      The whole thing is silly.

That woman’s explanation of why she didn’t like the song was really stupid. She said it wasn’t so much that the woman didn’t want to stay, she objected to the woman having to act demure or be convinced. Really stupid. It appears this woman likes it to work like in a porno movie where they meet and just go at it. :/
