Canadian Journalist Lays Down Atomic Sledgehammer of Truth Regarding Syria…

The underlying problem created by ideological broadcasts of Western Left-Wing media, is the resulting calcification of cynicism.

media-bias-4Almost every MSM presentation of the situation in Syria, specifically Aleppo, stems from an inherent disposition to apologize for, and ignore the atrocities of, the Muslim Brotherhood.

Amid the obtuse representation of the extremist minority, the ideological media create an even more dangerous situation for the average, common, non combatant Syrian.  Fortunately, one Canadian journalist speaks truth amid the propaganda:

There is a direct line of causation from President Obama speaking at Cairo University in Egypt, February 2009, to the rise of Islamic extremism which followed…

Ms. Bartlett is brave and articulate. Her in-depth knowledge is first-hand. I hope this tour will enlighten the U.S. population as to the horrors Syrians have suffered. Bashar al Assad has fought for his people and his country against almost impossible odds, constant onslaught from World powers, including the U.S.A., U.K., Saudis, Israel and others. This war was never about Assad’s Syria, it has been, and is about regime change, territorial grab, oil pipelines and the almighty dollar.

The U.S. media seems either willfully ignorant or complicit in how they report on these conflicts. I became aware of media complicity during the Balkan wars, and how they refused to report on the atrocities against Christians committed by the Bosnian mujahedeen, also called El Mudžahid. These were the foreign mujahedeen, most with criminal records in their home countries, who poured into Bosnia (and later Kosovo) from the Middle East.

It’s a similar situation in Syria. Both situations have the Clinton fingerprints all over them.

And the media here at the time was huckstering for Albright and Clinton. Remember that James Rubin, Albright’s “right hand man” and official spokesman at State is married to Christiane Amanpour, who served as CNN’s chief international correspondent and lead propagandist for the Clinton administration for all things related to the Balkan war. She served as “chief cheerleader” for violating the international arms embargo and U.S. intervention. Imagine the pillow talk in the Rubin-Amanpour household.

Now with Syria in terms of war coverage and the media, it seems it’s the SOS but different day.

Trump and Putin will quickly arrive at a high-level agreement that REGIONAL STABILITY is a shared goal; there will be in that a tacit admission that the prior US Administration is responsible for much of the current unrest and chaos.

Trump will wind down the Syrian Civik War.

In return, Trump should – and will – push for Russia to bring out two county’s combined weight to bear brokering long -term solutions for the region’s security problems.

Bringing Iran into line, getting the Arab states to recognize Israel, and broker some sort of face-saving out for the Palestinians.

A deal that will make all sides happy. And all because, he was open to working with Putin instead of treating him like a bogey man.

The Berlin wall came down thanks to Reagan, but for the people who won’t deal with Putin, the wall might just as well still exist. My hope is that Trump will bring what Reagan started to completion.

That sounds really nice from our point of view. If I were Putin or Assad I would tell the US to f off. “My country has wrecked your whole region, toppled several stable governments and been responsible for millions of deaths here, but we had a new election and we totally want to help you guys out now.”

I know Treepers and Trump genuinely want stability, peace and prosperity in the region, but I couldn’t blame Syria one bit for not exactly trusting us.

Anyone who believes the lies that the Elite Western Media has told them about these subjects:

    Syria
    Russia
    Putin

…is a fool. And a determined, willful fool. Look at how the public was lied to about Iraq before we went to war. Study history about how Americans were turned against Germany (and why they were) before World War 1.

I am a proud American and always have been. Sundance can easily verify that with IP tracking data. I’m no Russian or Russian propagandist. But I am aware of the world around me and I know how thorough propaganda controls people in American society. As a former liberal, I had to work very hard to overcome my own propagandized mind and see the truth.

Syria is simple. What happened there was no civil war, it was an invasion mostly carried out by foreign fighters. Why did we get in on the wrong side? Depends on who you ask. Maybe for a potential pipeline; maybe to aid our “partners” in Saudi Arabia; maybe other reasons. But the bottom line is that we, again, wanted to conduct (or at least aid) regime change. Like we just had the right to do that. Liberals should be screaming their heads off about this, but they didn’t and haven’t. They’ve been pushing it harder than anyone. Because Obama said so.

Russia got into Syria because they knew the USA had no intention of taking down ISIS. Why would we take down something we created? Trump wasn’t just making things up when he said Clinton and Obama created ISIS.

Putin isn’t perfect, at all. But he’s lived through Communism and is a legitimate tough guy (unlike those world leaders who are soft but act like they’re tough) who is very much a nationalist in the way Trump is a nationalist. He cares about Russians, not Global Elites.

The reason why the Global Elites are in panic over “Russian propaganda” is that they no longer have a monopoly on information in the internet era. Quite simply, they can’t handle the competition of other media outlets who are telling a different story than they are telling. Too many people are waking up to the truth.

People falsely think that there are “two medias” in this country. No there isn’t, and we saw that in this past election. There is one media, the Uniparty Media, and there is a “Washington Consensus” among that Ruling Class. So even if they differ over false choices like Republican or Democrat, the Ruling Class all agrees about things like Syria and Russia and so forth.

And that is why alternative outlets, including those originating from Russia, are needed. To break through that Uniparty Media.

It’s working, too. It’s working too well for the Ruling Class, actually. And that is why they are trying so hard to put the genie back in the bottle now.

But it’s too late. No one is going back ‘to sleep’ and no one is buying the latest “Leader X = Hitler” nonsense. We saw how Obama shook Qadaffi’s hand and then, shortly afterwards, helped hunt him down in a sickening fashion.

Syria is a disgrace that is all the West’s fault. The blood is on their/our hands.

And that’s the truth, from a deplorable.

Yep. And anything you might be inclined to think of as “official Lefty media” in this country has been 100% on board with the shameless warmongering for two decades and counting. At this point, any sincere peacenik Leftie has to be willfully blind to refuse to see it.

The New York Times (and all the rest) were shameless shills for war propaganda long before Obama. They relentlessly sold Clinton’s Balkan misadventures, they were eager stenographers for the entire ramp-up into the Iraq Debacle, and they literally could not bring themselves to write the word “torture” in regard to US forces (even though they unhesitatingly used the word for the exact same behavior by Iranian forces and Chinese forces and Vietnamese forces).

Just crank up the transparent-propaganda machine to make the regime-change-of-the-day “the new Hitler”, start illegally shipping arms and trainers into the region, and wait for a manufactured pretext to begin bombing if the local mercs just cannot get the job done on their own.

Over and over and over. For more than 20 years now. Thanks, “liberal” media.

Concur. We are being played for fools by the government.
The USA is 100% responsible for this war. We bankrolled the “uprising” in Homs, from which the plan of a “civil war” and “moderates” was built as the propaganda basis.
Just like the Maidan was people who love democracy. Yeah, like hyenas like carrion.

These have been hybrid wars to overthrow governments. It worked in Kiev. Syria was far too complex and the Syrian culture too sophisticated. Most of the non-Alawite groups depended on Assad for protection from Turks and Israel and from Sunni wahhabis.
All the other religions were protected. The culture was too strong, too deeply rooted to fall for the CIA messaging. The phony civil war was part of the Wolfowitz plan, Securing the Realm, and it fit with the Qatari dream of pipeline.

The US then used AQ and ISIS through the Turks and Saudis (we know the real story of Benghazi) and made Syria the focal point of ISIS Caliphate.

Russia came to save its Mediterranean port at Taurus and to save Assad and defeat the jihadis in Syria so they would not have to fight a third Islamic war in the Caucasus.

The totality of the coverage of the war has been Fake News in the West.
It continues tonight. Massacres, rapes, ambushes, all fake. Fed to reliable people..

Charles Payne and Navy Capt. both solid guys spewing reports of Fake News, even tossing in the old canard of barrel bombs.

I’ve been through this stuff since the early sixties. The source I never believe is the tyranny in Washington. I always turn out correct that way. Always. Name a war, a conflict, a “revolution”, and we get lied to and the rest of the world knows the truth. So I have always gone to the rest of the world, many, many sources. And today, tonight it is easier than ever to discover the truth. Shut down the MSM and governments of the West, all the talking head experts (except a very, very few), and seek the truth. It’s always piecemeal. But you’ll see it and understand.

The Canadian woman is powerful stuff. Remarkable. Rare.

We are at a moment in history with Trump to end this stuff. He said he wants to. We’ll see if he can get rid of the Deep State ideologues and officials whose entire existence is in running the Hegemon mechanisms of death, destruction and chaos. I know that the Tea Party events all over the U.S. were as spontaneous as anything I have ever seen. I’m totally primed to see behind fake spontaneity – didn’t see any with the Tea Party. Did see a bunch of SEIU and AFSCME goons getting bussed in to my little town for an expected crowd for a totally scared Democrat Congressman. No meet and greet for that guy either. He snuck in to the back way and into a well-guarded meeting room full of carefully selected and known local citizens.

The rest of us had to wait outside. But we were having so much fun, we didn’t really mind! “Hi, Ginny! Haven’t see you in a while.” “Hi, Jane. I didn’t know you were a Conservative!” “Ginny and Jane! How great to see you two! Isn’t this great! We’re really going to hold that guy’s feet to the fire today!”

The union goons did not stand in line with us. I don’t even remember where they were. Probably inside. Our Tea Party group met for almost a year, but attendance got smaller and smaller as we lost focus about what we were hoping to accomplish, and young “smooth operators” were trying to move in to “educate” us, old enough to be their grandparents, in how to do political action. Problem is we were too scattered mentally and didn’t have a focussed group of leaders who know what they wanted to do. sigh

Warmonger Senator McCain is still pushing for a major U.S. confrontation with Russia and Syria. This article from Al-Monitor was published on December 2, 2016.

Article title: Congress authorizes Trump to arm Syrian rebels with anti-aircraft missiles

    Author Julian Pecquet

While the language in the annual defense bill also creates restrictions on the provision of the controversial weapons, it represents a win for Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman John McCain, R-Ariz., a fervent advocate of helping the rebels resist President Bashar al-Assad and his Russian and Iranian allies. The Senate is expected to pass the bill next week.

Until now, the transfer of man-portable air-defense systems, or MANPADs, had been implicitly authorized in the absence of an outright ban. Critics, however, view the new provision as tantamount to a policy recommendation for the president-elect.

“I’m more afraid of Congress on this issue than I am of Trump,” said Robert Naiman, the policy director at Just Foreign Policy, a liberal advocacy group that lobbied for a ban. “I think Congress is trying to tie Trump’s hands against making a realistic deal with Russia to end the Syrian civil war. And they are trying to pressure him in the direction of not doing that,” he told Al-Monitor.

Trump was outspoken about his reluctance to get dragged into the Syrian civil war throughout the presidential campaign. He has since picked hawkish advisers and candidates for Cabinet positions, including retired Marine Gen. James Mattis as secretary of defense.

The rebels “are being slaughtered as we speak. A genocide is taking place. It’s a black mark on American history,” McCain told Al-Monitor when asked about the MANPAD provision. “I think [Trump] is going to listen to the people he appoints as secretary of defense and secretary of state.”

Graham was just on CNN stating that he will settle for nothing less than “crippling sanctions” against Russia. Crippling? Of course, Blitzer was too dimwitted to follow-up with a question like: “How could a crippled Russia be in our best interest at this time?”

Rudy, I concur. I truly believe that McCain is brain damaged. The addition of military LEADERS to PE Trump’s Cabinet will not lead us to fight with Russia. True military Leaders do not want to send peoples sons and daughters into harms way. Only nutcase, liberal whackjobs want that. McLame may have been in the military but a Leader he is NOT. My only hope for him is a massive stroke in his sleep and then a quick departure into obscurity. He has much blood on his hands and the world will be a better place without the likes of him.

Tens of millions, hundreds of millions, a billion, several billions of Syrians slaughtered.
The numbnuts and noknowthings of the cable will read anything.
We know what they read about Trump and his life.
      Nothing is different.

This is all to cut Trump off from teaming up with Russia to crush ISIS and AQ.
The entire Khazarian plot dies for decades if Trump and Putin team up.
No more TRILLIONS. Remember what was at stake. TRILLIONS. For wars. For chaos. For domination. And if they can hurt Russia, they help destroy Christianity.

That is McCain’s army out there in the Caliphate. That is the proxy army of death used to destroy European civilization (Roman Catholicism, Lutheranism and Judaism, among many other Christian belief systems). ISIS and AQ are the devil’s army. Operated by the neocons and warmongers of DC.

I just watched the entire video, but have not read all of the comments here yet. That said, trying to reconcile this information from a UN Panel vs. all we hear on corporate western news is really bothering me because not only does it make me wonder how much more have we been lied to from our press, but that the UN may not be as inept as I have heard for so long… How can we ever know who are the truth tellers? I mean we know how much they lie to us daily about US internal politics, but such a sad, sad state of affairs that we can not trust our news reporters on foreign affairs either. Beats me who to trust with corrupted media, with corrupted UN, without first hand knowledge on a whole slew of issues, and how the heck do we clean out the propagandists? I get that varying factions have different points of view, but reporters are supposed to try and weed out their personal point of views and present the truth. All Pravda, all the time. 😦

Wow. That was awesome. She made that smug reporter look ridiculous, especially how she destroyed his “sources on the ground” argument.

What amazes me is that she stated that the Syrian people see the Terrorists (“rebels”) as the problem and not Assad. She was right, it’s all about regime change. Obama has destroyed the ME with his Arab Spring Con and then sent all the “refugees” to invade Europe.

If nothing else, people really should stop saying 0bama is brainless and ineffective. Look at how effective he’s been all over the world. The middle East didn’t fall apart spontaneously, the demolition was engineered.

I barf every time I hear ISIS terrorists described as “CIVILIANS” by the presstitutes. I guess in their eyes, technically since ISIS members aren’t part of Syria’s government, they must be (innocent) “civilians!” But neither are they valid “civil-war rebels” because they aren’t Syrians! They are mostly Libyans, Turks, and Pakistanis who were hired paid trained and armed by the OBAMA regime to attack and terrorize Syria, a sovereign national government. That makes Obama a war-criminal.

This “journalist” spent three years in Gaza peddling the Nazi lies of Hamas,
which used “its” own populace as human shields,
and her description of Syrian politics bears no relationship to the truth:
it is nothing but standard ‘Assad propaganda.
Even Putain doesn’t count on ‘Assad retaining control over more than his ‘Alawite enclave.
    He has no support otherwise.

  33. vincent – I looked at her website and noticed the same thing. Her coverage omitted entirely not only the use of local Gazans as human shields during the Gaza conflict, but I saw nothing about the extensive tunnels leading from Gaza into Israel, among other things. This causes me to doubt her other reportage.

I suspect she is doing the standard propaganda trick: mix in lots of verifiable truth with the essential, necessary lies.Hard to tell which is which unless you know more.
I know quite a bit about Israel, but nothing about Syria. So I’m taking everything here with a great big grain of salt until I learn what satisfies me as truth.

This all reminds me way too much of the propaganda push in 1992 over the civil war in Somalia.
Bush 41 decided in December of that year to send in the calvary and left Clinton with one helluva pickle which ended several months later with Blackhawk Down.

We are still feeling the repercussions of that war two and a half decades later.

Now they are pushing for Obama to leave Trump with a very similar situation only this one would be ten times worse of a quagmire as the scale is so much larger and the geopolitical adversaries much more powerful.

My guess is that Obama will balk. The president has held the line on further involvement in this mess of a situation even after his own red lines were crossed, leaving SoS Kerry hanging in the wind in the process. So I believe Obama will be quite content to leave office in January and let his successor make the hard decisions that he couldn’t.

If I had Preident Trump’s ear I’d make it very simple:
No U.S. military on the ground in Syria, other than Special Forces needed to help with air targeting. Keep our guys in Iraq and hold the line there to, along with Iraqi and Kurdish forces, destroy & drive ISIS out of that country. Let Russia, Iran and Assad’s forces take care of internal Syria. Have Jordan hold the line in the east to stop a spread to Lebanon.

The wildcards are Turkey and Saudia Arabia and their Gulf State allies.
Erdogan can open the refugee floodgates into Europe, black market ISIS oil, and rain hell on the Kurds in three countries.
The Saudis are up to their eyeballs in Yemen, domestic strife, and a flat oil market, but they and the Gulf states can still unleash torrents of cash (for the foreseeable future) to finance strife across the region.

Who knows what Israel and Iran will do in the long-term?
Meanwhile, China eyes the South China Sea and colonizing half of Africa for natural resources.

    That is Trump’s pickle.
May God give him the strength of David and the wisdom of Solomon.
He’ll need all the help he can get.
