Six Months of Corporate Media Gaslighting Collapses in Next 72 Hours….

There is always a specific inflexion point when the media narrative runs into reality.  Within that tenuous ideological orbit, corporate interests attempt to obfuscate their retreat to safe places.

NEVER forget what the media has done in the past sixteen months.

Over the course of the next 72 hours we will see the corporate media begin positioning themselves to retain some semblance of post-election credibility.

Mysteriously “media polling” results drop their false narrative and shift to reflect reality. A reality that has always been the same, yet denied because the previous false narrative held a goal.  Here’s a few examples from today:

NATIONALLY […] Eighty-eight percent (88%) of voters say they are now certain how they will vote. Among these voters, Trump has a 10-point lead over Clinton – 53% to 43%. Johnson gets two percent (2%) and Stein one percent (1%). This is the first time any candidate has crossed the 50% mark. Among those who still could change their minds, it’s Clinton 36%, Trump 36%, Johnson 22% and Stein six percent (6%).

The survey of 1,500 Likely Voters was conducted on October 31 and November 1-2, 2016 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 2.5 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. (link)

UTAH – The false narrative has been to push Evan McMullin as if he ever stood a real chance. This narrative fulfilled the best interests of Corporate Media, Wall Street and the DC UniParty. It was/is an electoral strategy born from the bowels of the unified political apparatus.  Team Hillary and Team #NeverTrump (Bush, Romney et al), the UniParty.

However, yet again, this false narrative also has to eventually face and eventual reality:

[…] The Monmouth University Poll found Trump at 37 percent, followed by Democrat Hillary Clinton at 31 percent and McMullin at 24 percent.

A Rasmussen poll had Trump at 42, Clinton with 31 and McMullin at 21.

And an Emerson College poll shows Trump at 40, McMullin with 28 and Clinton at 20. (link)

David Mamet had a famous saying, essentially: …‘in order for genuine liberals to continue their illogical belief systems they have to pretend not to know a lot of things’… By pretending ‘not to know’ there is no guilt, no actual connection to conscience, denial of truth allows easier trespass.

In essence, liberalism maintained -in the face of overwhelming empirical evidence- requires feelings to overcome logic in the ongoing game of make believe.  Hence, cognitive dissonance is the media’s preferred principle as large numbers of people need to be swayed to act against their own best interests.

To retain the larger ruse, Saul Alinsky expanded on (many would say took advantage of) the necessary dissonance and various illogical shell games (system overload) became a component of his modern approach.  The media adopted this approach in how they deploy gaslighting strategies.  This approach is simply lying in such a manner as you can later deny you’ve lied.  Lies, manipulative lies, they can use to make you doubt yourself, your own cognitive grounding.

…Denial of Truth Allows Easier Trespass.

Never let the media off the hook for their duplicity in this election:

On October 13th 2016, presidential candidate Donald Trump delivered a speech that defines this moment in our nation’s history. Part of that speech has been put to a video. The entire transcript of that speech is below.

[ Transcript ] […] Our movement is about replacing a failed and corrupt political establishment with a new government controlled by you, the American People. There is nothing the political establishment will not do, and no lie they will not tell, to hold on to their prestige and power at your expense.

The Washington establishment, and the financial and media corporations that fund it, exists for only one reason: to protect and enrich itself.

The establishment has trillions of dollars at stake in this election. As an example, just one single trade deal they’d like to pass, involves trillions of dollars controlled by many countries, corporations and lobbyists.

For those who control the levers of power in Washington, and for the global special interests they partner with, our campaign represents an existential threat.

This is not simply another 4-year election. This is a crossroads in the history of our civilization that will determine whether or not We The People reclaim control over our government.

The political establishment that is trying everything to stop us, is the same group responsible for our disastrous trade deals, massive illegal immigration, and economic and foreign policies that have bled this country dry. The political establishment has brought about the destruction of our factories and our jobs, as they flee to Mexico, China and other countries throughout the world. Our just-announced jobs numbers are anemic, and our gross domestic product, or GDP, is barely above one percent. Workers in the United States, were making less than they were almost 20 years ago – and yet they are working harder.

It’s a global power structure that is responsible for the economic decisions that have robbed our working class, stripped our country of its wealth, and put that money into the pockets of a handful of large corporations and political entities.

Just look at what this corrupt establishment has done to our cities like Detroit and Flint, Michigan – and rural towns in Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina and across our country. They have stripped these towns bare, and raided the wealth for themselves and taken away their jobs.

The Clinton Machine is at the center of this power structure. We’ve seen this firsthand in the WikiLeaks documents in which Hillary Clinton meets in secret with international banks to plot the destruction of U.S. sovereignty in order to enrich these global financial powers.

And, likewise, the emails show that the Clinton Machine is so closely and irrevocably tied to media organizations that she is given the questions and answers in advance of her debates. Clinton is also given approval and veto power over quotes written about her in the New York Times. And the emails show the reporters collaborate and conspire directly with the Clinton Campaign on helping her win the election.

With their control over our government at stake, with trillions of dollars on the line, the Clinton Machine is determined to achieve the destruction of our campaign, which has now become a movement the likes of which our country has never seen before – and we won’t let them do that.

The most powerful weapon deployed by the Clintons is the corporate media. Let’s be clear on one thing: the corporate media in our country is no longer involved in journalism. They are a political special interest, no different than any lobbyist or other financial entity with an agenda. And their agenda is to elect the Clintons at any cost, at any price, no matter how many lives they destroy.

press we can actualFor them, it is a war – and for them, nothing is out of bounds.

This is a struggle for the survival of our nation. This election will determine whether we are a free nation, or whether we have only the illusion of Democracy but are in fact controlled by a small handful of global special interests rigging the system.

This is not just conspiracy but reality, and you and I know it.

The establishment and their media enablers wield control over this nation through means that are well known. Anyone who challenges their control is deemed a sexist, a racist, a xenophobe and morally deformed. They will attack you, they will slander you, they will seek to destroy your career and reputation. And they will lie, lie and lie even more.

The Clintons are criminals. This is well-documented, and the establishment that protects them has engaged in a massive cover-up of widespread criminal activity at the State Department and Clinton Foundation in order to keep the Clintons in power. Never in history have we seen such a cover-up as this, one that includes the destruction of 33,000 emails, 13 phones, laptops, missing boxes of evidence, and on and on.

People who are capable of such crimes against our nation are capable of anything.

[…] But I take all of these slings and arrows for you. I take them for our movement, so that we can have our country back. Our great civilization, here in America and across the civilized world, has come upon a moment of reckoning.

We’ve seen it in the United Kingdom, where they voted to liberate themselves from global government and global trade deals and global immigration deals that have destroyed their sovereignty.

But the central base of world political power is here in America, and it is our corrupt political establishment that is the greatest power behind the efforts at radical globalization and the disenfranchisement of working people.

Their financial resources are unlimited. Their political resources are unlimited. Their media resources are unlimited. And, most importantly, the depths of their immorality is unlimited.

Our political establishment has no soul. I knew these false attacks would come. I knew this day would arrive. And I knew the American people would rise above it and vote for the future they deserve.

The only thing that can stop the Corrupt Clinton Machine is you. The only force strong enough to save this country is you. The only people brave enough to vote out this corrupt establishment is you, the American People.

They control the Department of Justice, and they even clandestinely meet with the Attorney General of the United States – in the back of her airplane, while on the runway – for 39 minutes – to most likely discuss her reappointment in a Clinton Administration just prior to the Attorney General making a decision over whether or not to prosecute Hillary Clinton.

trump eagle 8Likewise, they have corrupted the Director of the FBI to the point at which stories are already saying the great men and women who work for the FBI are embarrassed and ashamed to what he’s done to one of our great institutions. Hillary Clinton is guilty of all of the things that Director Comey stated at his press conference and Congressional hearings, and far more – and yet he let her off the hook, while others lives are being destroyed for far less.

This is a conspiracy against you, the American people.

This is our moment of reckoning as a society and as a civilization.

I didn’t need to do this. I built a great company, and I had a wonderful life. I could have enjoyed the benefits of years of successful business for myself and my family, instead of going through this absolute horror show of lies, deceptions and malicious attacks. I’m doing it because this country has given me so much, and I feel strongly it was my turn to give back.

Some people warned me this campaign would be a journey to hell. But they are wrong, it will be a journey to heaven because we will help so many people.

In my former life, I was an insider as much as anybody else – and I know what’s like to be an insider. Now I am being punished for leaving their special club and revealing to you their great scam. Because I used to be part of the club, I’m the only one who can fix it. I’m doing this for the people, and this movement is just right – and we will take back this country for you and Make America Great Again.

The corrupt establishment knows that we are an existential threat to their criminal enterprise. They know, that if we win, their power is gone and returned to you. The clouds hanging over our government can be lifted, and replaced with a bright future – but it all depends on whether we let the New York Times decide our future, or whether we let the American people decide our future.

If this Clinton Campaign of Destruction is allowed to work, then no other highly successful person – which is what our country needs – will ever again run for this office.

I will not lie to you. These false attacks hurt. To be lied about, to be slandered, to be smeared so publicly and before your family, is painful.

What the Clinton Machine is doing to me, and my family, is egregious beyond words. It is reprehensible beyond description.

But I also know, it’s not about me – it’s about all of you. It’s about all of us, together, as a country.

It’s about the Veterans who need medical care, the mothers who’ve lost children to terrorism and crime, it’s about the inner cities and the border towns who desperately need our help, it’s about the millions of jobless Americans. This election is about the people being crushed by Obamacare, and it’s about defeating ISIS and appointing Supreme Court Justices who will defend our Constitution.

This election is also about the African-American and Hispanic communities whose communities have been plunged into crime, poverty and failing schools by the policies of Hillary Clinton. They’ve robbed these citizens of their future, and I will give them their hope, jobs and opportunities back. I will deliver.

This election is about every man, woman and child in our country who deserves to live in safety, prosperity and peace.

We will rise above the lies, the smears, and the ludicrous slanders from ludicrous reporters.

We will vote for the country we want.

We will vote for the future we want.

We will vote for the politics we want.

We will vote to put this corrupt government cartel out of business. We will remove from our politics the special interests who have betrayed our workers, our borders, our freedoms, and our sovereign rights as a nation. We will end the politics of profit, we will end the rule of special interests, we will put a stop to the raiding of our country – and the disenfranchisement of our people.

Our Independence Day is at hand, and it arrives, finally, on November 8th. Join me in taking back our country, and creating a bright and glorious new dawn for our people.

Kelly Anne Conway on Lou Dobbs , FBN now .

Best spiel I’ve ever heard her give: taking it to the media.

Pointed out (among other things) that no newspapers had retracted their endorsements of Hillary Clinton, even after the past couple days of revelations.

    This really worries me…
(Article): Skeptics suggested the WorldNow page was part of a code test to ensure the software would post the actual results, but surprisingly, the data on the page was typed in – with no apparent code tabulating anything.
And it’s revealing that, more often than not, when the mainstream media “tests” election result software, it shows the establishment candidate winning the election.
At the very least, the results page shows obvious media bias towards Hillary, and it follows a pattern by the mainstream media to claim Hillary has already won the election weeks before Nov. 8 in an attempt to suppress voter enthusiasm for Trump, which is one of his major advantages.
This discovery comes amid Project Veritas’ damning videos exposing Democrat operatives discussing how they’ve been rigging elections for the last 50 years, as well as Wikileaks’ relentless data dumping of John Podesta’s emails revealing more collusion and corruption between the Clinton campaign and the mainstream media.

Now that the avenue for electronic vote total manipulation has been uncovered, and now that we know the intelligence community has become active in the final disposition of Hillary and her syndicate, it only makes sense that these levers can be blocked and must be blocked election day.

Co-opting and reverse bias for Trump would leave the result open to challenge by Hillary, so Trump would have to win fair and square, and the counter coup action would involve merely blocking the electronic vote total abridgment by the Hillary syndicate.

Once Trump wins, which will only be, ultimately, by the sweet will of God, it would be satisfying to have the heads of this evil establishment syndicate on pikes lining the streets of Washington, D.C., however, prudence would say that moving the ball down field should win the next phase, over mere temporal satisfaction. After all, there is the contract with America and Americans to deliver on.

Still, I admit, I would like to see Google CEO, Schmidt’s head, along with the media heads, lining the D.C. landfill, but there may be better uses for them, food for pigs, flower pots….

I have watched the media attempt to regain credibility in the lead-up to every election after the regime installation of HUSSEIN, but the amazing thing about THIS election is how LATE in the game they are shifting back. To me, this shows the true level of desperation. They realize that if CROOKED HILLARY doesn’t win, their credibility will take a HUGE hit anyway. In other words, the have opted for the HAIL MARY SATAN pass on the last down.

They are not shifting back. They will keep so Voter Fraud will not be suspected. They don’t care about being right this election because if TRUMP wins they know there is no tomorrow as far as creditability goes. We talk about email and not a word about VOTER Fraud. Nov 9 is to late.

Exactly. There won’t be any shifting back. That also is part of the old playbook (along with them trying to pretend to be impartial) that has been thrown out the window for this election.

I commented on another thread yesterday that though I do so infrequently, I watched Neil Cavuto on FBN and was amazed to see the pull back unfold before my own eyes.
Cavuto is a Murdoch surrogate and is a person of authority at FBN. In short, he does not like DJT.
He said with curious excitement, ” He (Trump) could win this.” With Sundance outlining the media’s antics it was exactly as Sundance predicted. A week out from the election they are beginning to pull back.

Agree. The media must be destroyed, not simply exposed for what they have done but destroyed. Time to play the game according to liberal/Alinsky Rules and maintain the rage for at least a decade. Boycott the media and their advertisers, send then bankrupt, name and shame their management and their connections to the Democrats/Progressives/Marxists.
Then break the media (all types) into 100.000 pieces and by law restrict ownership to no more than 1% for any individual/company/organisation etc so it will never rise again except as an platform that reports the news, not their opinions. Who is interested their opinions? No forgiveness, ever.

Indeed, never forget is a great rallying cry to organize the people for the next years ahead, to keep full pressure on the people who were dishonest, and who we know we will never be able to trust. If you ever feel that you can give CNN and others a pass on anything, just imagine for a few moments that your children are watching and reading them, and that your children will regurgitate their hogwash in your presence, even at your dinner table. We need to fill the air everywhere with truth that puts the lie to CNN and the others, that our freedom in America is not a license to do whatever we want, sleaze included – our freedom, won by the shed blood of patriots, is the freedom to do what we know is right. Even if we don’t live up to those ideals at any particular time, we must continue to voice our belief in those ideals, and never fear being called a hypocrite just because we fail at times to practice what we preach. The fear of being called a hypocrite is a trap set by the Devil himself, to deter us from speaking up for truth. Speak truth to your children every day, and they will remember when they are grown up.

Here’s what worries me. I have not read this article yet and will save it for later tonight when things are quiet. But, if these things are all true, WHY IS TRUMP still spending valuable time holding rallies in Florida and NC when these states are wrapped up? His private polls and smart folks should know the same thing Sundance is revealing to us. If they know the same stuff, then Trump should literally be LIVING in PA, MI, and Virginia, shouldn’t he? In other words, he’s campaining EXACTLY as if his internal polls and all the smart folks surrounding him are saying the SAME thing these media polls are saying, that he is slightly behind or ties. It certainly does not look like this is a possible landslide and like he has Florida and NC locked up by 7 or 8 points. If these things are true he should be in PA and Mi every single day multiple times a day, VA too. What gives?

      Good question.
A better question is: why is Hiraly out there?

–Trump is out there to sustain the enthusiasm that has been built.
–Close the deal. He probably could not still still anyway, with a close happening.
–Much has been determined already, but all parties involved are trying to make things seem close because it is the final chance to wring a few more millions out of us before the season is over. All of this media keeps saying Hiraly is so far out ahead, but I keep getting several emails a day from Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden telling me they need me to pitch in yet another $3 or disaster will happen. Not to rain on the parade, but frankly I think Trump and RNC are out there asking right now because this is a very hot giving moment. I figure that after today, most of us will rightly perceive that a dollar given today will have a low chance to be translated into any activity by next Tuesday. But they will be a$king up to 8pm Guam time next Tuesday.

Good question. I suspect that vote rigging maybe what is being countered. A Florida landslide would also counter a rigged vote, elsewhere, with the narrative that the media polls were bogus. Bogus in Florida, bogus elsewhere.

I am hoping the landslide is everywhere, and, further, I am hoping the electronic vote total abridgment is blocked by the NSA.

Yeah, Trump’s an American first, not an R or a D.

I’ve been a Republican all my life; thought it was the party for conservative Americans who want to preserve and defend the Constitution, as it was written. Turns out I’m wrong.

The Republican party today is the Washington General party of The Swamp, it’s the “opposition” that only pretends to oppose while they maneuver for higher takehome pay. Their wallets get filled regardless of whether they do anything, and most don’t seem to have even read the Constitution; they certainly don’t seem to care about it. The R party seems to be filled (with a few exceptions) with the same grifters, rogues and crooks as the Democrat party, their “dear colleagues” across the aisle, with whom they conspire to defraud us all. Their oath of office means nothing at all to these swine: remember Pelosi and her cries of “Are you serious?” when asked about the Consitutionality of Obamacare? Remember all the phony harrumphing from the Republicans as they falsely swore to defund it, to repeal it, harrumph, harrumph! Nothing ever happened, of course. It was all theater to impress us, the rubes out there in flyover country.

No longer. I’ve now voted for Donald Trump, the one man who may- may! be able to slash through this Gordian knot of government that is more corrupt than anyone imagined, and get this country aimed closer to the right direction than it has been for decades and decades. But I have no more trust in the Republican party, that bunch of faithless posturing whores.

I’m going to the Constitution Party. Nevermore will the R’s see another dime from me!

Sundance often comments on how Florida is kind of a microcosm of the whole country. That you can go to various parts of the state and get a good feel for what it’s like in various parts of the country. AND the ratio of native Floridians to non-native is probably bigger than any other state. In other words, a good percentage of those now living in Florida originally lived elsewhere. What that means, is that it’s very likely those people have far more numerous out-of-state contacts (relatives/friends) than do people of other states.

So…. if you were to choose one state, and only one state, to try to get your message out, Florida might be the one. (CA and NY are the other two, I’d say)

When the news media dumbs it down, parrots talking points, and outright lies and spins, it destroys the population’s voter immunity. We all get sick from the propaganda which ALLOWS the Hillary Clinton types to thrive and destroy the country.

We NEED a viable trustworthy news media, and right now, it’s GONE.

The media IS far worse. Check what the Bible says about the Devil. Not fire, not pitchforks and costumes, but lies. By generating lies and getting people to do wrong things, all of the evil in the world is thus created. The media fulfills the exact role that is ascribed to the Devil in scripture. He sometimes says things that are plausible, only to slip in a lie that gives him an “in” to your mind. Whether you believe in a literal Devil or not, you can construct the pattern. When Hillary and her ilk are long gone from the Earth, their lies and the media’s lies will live on in the minds of their victims. We have a great task in reversing as much of that as we can over the next few years.

if we can accept our culpability in allowing things to get THIS BAD, that should be sufficient motivation for NEVER AGAIN allowing the complacency factor to enter into our lives.
Yes, there has been a level of corruption none of us anticipated until the tip of the iceberg was revealed. But the msm has always traded in opinion. We should, hereafter, NEVER be taken in by talking heads until they have PROVEN their mettle…not promised it, but demonstrated it.
This evil began long ago, and, no, we did not anticipate the velocity of the descent…now we know how fast things can fall apart.
The infiltration of our educational system is a prime example: how long have we been held hostage by the Teacher’s Unions? Moreover, how many years have we put up with the EPA bogging down whatever they wish for the trend-du-jour purpose? Why has clean coal been rejected? Why are there not more petroleum refineries, and so forth ad nauseum?

I recorded Lou Dobbs per usual with a few minutes of the Charles Payne Show playing first. They had a ridiculous electoral map up. With Clinton winning the election with leans before any of the toss ups come into play. It made me want to throw a brick at the screen.

Clinton at 283 (including leans) and DT at 192 (including leans) with 63 toss ups.

Leaning Dem. New Mexico, Colorado, North Carolina, Virginia, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

Leaning Rep.Texas, Alaska, Georgia, Ohio, Nebraska–2

Toss-ups: Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Iowa, Florida, New Hampshire and Maine-2.

Talk about voter suppression!!! I shouldn’t let this stuff get to me, because I don’t watch the MSM except for Dobbs and Hannity but my word, that was an ugly map. Florida a toss up???

They keep make believing he was losing or having trouble in states he clearly won and that he would do less good in certain states like New York, Penn and Michigan where he had blowout landslides.

The only state they where right about was Ohio and I am of the Opinion Kasich committed Fraud in that primary.

Their reasoning will be this: Trump may be President Elect but he wont have the support of the Senate or House as the Repub wont work with him and Dems will never work with him so he will have lost before he has even started. They will never admit that Trump has won. They haven’t yet, even after he won the impossible to win primary so I don’t see why they would change now.

The list goes on. The media including most of FOX has been dead wrong since since beginning of 2014. Elect Republicans they will stand up to Obama: WRONG. 20. Trump will win the election because Trump DESERVES to win the election. His work ethic was far superior to Clinton’s throughout the whole process. He also ran a more innovative campaign. He brought original ideas to the national conversation and appealed to both sides of the aisle. Meanwhile, Clinton just said basically “I’ll keep everything the same and trim around the edges” and mostly pandered to her own leftist base. Clinton also raised the corporate money hand over fist. Trump relied mainly on grass roots donations.

This election is a simple morality tale.. America prides itself on the idea that if you work really hard and are innovative, you will be a success story. What kind of lesson would be teaching our children if Clinton won the election? If Clinton wins, we would be teaching our children that hard work and innovation don’t pay off. We would be teaching our children that conformity, mediocrity, and bowing down to our corporate masters is the recipe for success.

I know a good media script when I see one. Trump will be the next President of the United States and this is the just and righteous outcome.

I’ll also add that part of the quintessential American success story is not letting obstacles keep you down and get in the way of fulfilling your dreams. Trump has been viciously attacked by the media and by his own party. He never backed down when several times it appeared that he was down and out. Trump is the ultimate American success story and will be the next President of the United States.

Out of all the threads on the front page right now, this one looks like the best place to share this observation (which I posted at AoSHQ earlier this evening)…

“All these events of the past week involving the FBI… you know, I believe this is another thing that would not have happened if Trump were not the GOP nominee.

See, this stuff is all coming out now because Trump told the world during the debates that, if elected, he would seek to put Hillary in prison for her crimes. Thus, these agents feel like he has their backs. They see a chance to put right a lot of things that they see going wrong, because he will support them in that.

Jeb would not have made them feel like they had his support. Hillary is, like, practically his sister, and a Great American Citizen and stuff, man. He gave her the award and everything!

Scott Walker would not have made them feel like they had his support. Remember all those “John Doe” investigations of people who’d done nothing more than support him for re-election? What did he do about that, again? Nothing.

Even Ted Cruz stated that he would not go negative or personal on Hillary, but would instead fight a good, clean, sporting campaign based entirely on the issues.

Instead, we actually have a GOP nominee who believes Hillary is guilty of some serious crimes, and promises that he will make her pay for them if he wins.”

  28. Trump will win big. The media won’t acknowledge the early voting trends as indicators. Then the media will try to save face by saying: HRC would have won too, if it wasn’t for the FBI announcement influencing the election.

Trump went from a solid victory to a massive landslide. Trump should win every swing state, then put many of those state Republicans have dreamed about into play. Remember when he said “I think I can win NY”, then the whole Republican field and GOPe laughed. 😅

    • Padric says:

I wanted to riff off of the part of your comment for a Trump thinking he can win NY. AS a bit of background I am a life long NYer. I live in a county about and hour and change north of NYC. hat used to be solidly red and now has become something of a swing county due to all the NYC transplants during the housing boom. I well remember Trump’s comment about winning NY and think about it often.

I try to think about his chances here in an objective way and here’s what I know: I know that as of 11/1 Dems outnumber Republicans in this state by more than 2:1 and that it takes literally every single Indy voter to then bring things back to even. I know that in most elections it boils down to the Dems running up huge margins in NYC to offset the Republican vote in the rest of the state. But I also know that Reagan won NY.

What most people don’t remember though is that he only won it by 2-3% and it was largely because the 3rd party candidate, John Anderson, siphoned off a lot of votes from Carter.

All that said, here’s what I observe: I’m not seeing ANY Hillary signs. I’m not seeing many Trump signs either, maybe 4-6 in my neck of the woods? The number isn’t important though. It’s the fact that I’m seeing any at all that makes me smile. Folks around here are not prone to putting out campaign signs. I never saw any McCain or Romney signs. I also work in a place where I come in contact with a lot of of different people and a lot of those people are making a comment here and there that they are on Trump’s side.

All that being said, I can’t shake the feeling that this year just feels different. You can almost feel it in the air the closer it gets to election day. I’m stuck with my head telling me Trump winning NY is a long shot and my gut telling me he can do it. One thing I do know for sure: Whenever my head and my gut tell me two different things, the only times I’ve ever been burned are when I didn’t listen to my gut.

Just my, rather long winded, two cents.

[ Real Transcript ] “… Our movement is about replacing a failed and corrupt political establishment with a new government controlled by you, the American People. There is nothing the political establishment will not do, and no lie they will not tell, to hold on to their prestige and power at your expense.

“The Washington establishment, and the financial and media corporations that fund it, exists for only one reason: to protect and enrich itself.

“The establishment has trillions of dollars at stake in this election…

“For those who control the levers of power in Washington,
and for the global special interests they partner with these people, they don’t have your good in mind, our campaign represents a true existential threat, like they haven’t seen before.

“This is not simply another 4-year election.
This is a crossroads in the history of our civilization that will determine whether or not We The People reclaim control over our government.

“The political establishment that is trying to stop us, is the same group responsible for our disastrous trade deals, massive illegal immigration, and economic and foreign policies that have bled this country dry.
“The political establishment has brought about the destruction of our factories and our jobs, as they flee to Mexico, China and other countries all around the world….

“It’s a global power structure that is responsible for the economic decisions that have robbed our working class, stripped our country of its wealth, and put that money into the pockets of a handful of large corporations and political entities…

“… This is a struggle for the survival of our nation.
This election will determine whether we are a free nation, or whether we have only the illusion of Democracy but are in fact controlled by a small handful of global special interests, rigging the system.
    “And our system is rigged.

“This is reality, you know it, they know it, I know it and pretty much the whole world knows it.

“The Clinton machine is at the center of this power structure.
“We’ve seen this first-hand in the Wikileaks documents, in which Hillary Clinton meets in secret with international banks to plot the destruction of US sovereignty, in order to enrich these global financial powers, their special interest friends and their donors.

“Honestly, she should be locked up.

“The most powerful weapon deployed by the Clintons
is the corporate media, the Press.
“Let’s be clear on one thing: the corporate media in our country is no longer involved in journalism. They’re a political special interest,
no different than any lobbyist nor other financial entity with a total political agenda, and the agenda is not for you, it’s for themeselves.
“Anyone who challenges their control is deemed a sexist, a racist,
a xenophobe… They will…lie, lie and then again they will do worse than that. They will do whatever is necessary.

The Clintons are criminals, remember that:
“this is well-documented, and the establishment that protects them has engaged in a massive cover-up of widespread criminal activity
at the State Department and the Clinton Foundation in order to keep the Clintons in power.
“They knew they would throw every lie they could at my family,
at my loved ones; they knew they would stop at nothing.
    to try to stop me.

“Nevertheless, I take all these slings and arrows gladly for you.
I take them for a movement so that we can have our country back.
I knew this day would arrive; only a question of when.
And I knew the American people would rise above it,
and vote for the future they deserve.

“The only thing that can stop this corrupt machine is you.
The only force strong enough to save our country is us.
The only people brave enough to vote out this corrupt Establishement is you, the American people.

“Our great civilization… has come upon a moment of reckoning.
“I didn’t need to do this, folks, believe me.
“I built a great company, and I had a wonderful life.
I could have enjoyed the fruits and benefits of years of successful business deals and businesses for myself and my family,
instead of going through this absolute horror show of lies, deceptions, malicious attacks, who would have thought?
“I’m doing it because this country has given me so much,
and I feel so strongly that it’s my turn to give back to the country that I love.
“I’m doing this for the people, and for the movement,
and we will take back this country for you,
and we will make America great again.”
