Treeper DonebyDesign had the opportunity to join with fellow Deplorables yesterday in Melbourne Florida; here’s their ground report:
Made the rally today! I’ve seen trump do venues all around me in Florida but I was holding out for Daytona international Speedway. Not to be disappointed, Trump came to my hometown and I cleared my calendar for the big day.
I arrived real early per treepers advice. Waited in the hot sun for 2.5 hrs and met a lot of good people. Quite a smorgasbord of deplorables….many retirees, young people, and folks who took the day off. All dressed casual, not too many suits if any.
Pre event was very organized and we got through a very thorough security screening with no drama.
Local airport authority and police agencies handled traffic and security with no hiccups that I saw. The biggest issue was the heat and humidity. September is a very humid month for Melbourne.
Once attendees made it into the hanger, the discomfort went up another notch. The pre rally speakers did an admirable job of warming up the crowd…errr…I mean getting them in the mood! They had to stop speaking and help direct paramedics to the dozen or so of heat victims. Yea, it was really hot.
I had a great spot dead center in front of the lectern about 25-30 ft back from Mr. Trump.
They landed TrumpForceOne right at the hanger door as expected (on time!) and our next Commander in Chief made a grand entrance walking down the steps framed by a dark rainy black background punctuated with emotional music rounding out this memorable moment. Not to be outdone, me and my Space Coast brethren gave Mr. Trump a rousing welcome! Tons of sign waving too.

Mr Trump looked great in person and slimmer than the online camera feeds. Dressed sharp in a navy blue suit, white shirt, and striking red tie. Need I even say his presence was presidential?
I’m biased but who doesn’t want to be like Trump? Everyone around me enthusiastically clapped, yelled, voiced their words of agreement, and proved that we are all ready for the change he will bring and MAGA.
Two moments stand out for me…first was a homemade sign that found its way into the venue that was somewhat critical of Hillary….Mistress from Hell. The owner’s name was Cindy and she drove 30 miles to attend. All of us in her immediate vicinity were snapping pics and selfies…..and then we figured out how to insert it into the national feed since we were standing in line with the lectern…you may have seen it on CNN lol. I was told it at least made it on the local news!
We’re sooo deplorable!
Second thing I’ll remember is the chant. I’m really big on wanting to see the southern wall built. Melbourne got the chant going and we ROCKED that hanger…..Trump was impressed, and he played right along and we answered him like a boss with “MEXICO” when he wondered aloud who was gonna pay for it. Electrifying!!
So glad I went today and now have my little piece of political history to proudly remember and plan to save the souvenirs and stickers. Bought a deplorable minion pin so I am now an official member of the basket club. The Trump Train has roared through my town and is coming to your town next. Climb aboard and enjoy the ride…..cause it’ll take you to another dimension!
We are winning folks and winning big league! There is only one winner in this race as Lawerence Paul 1 says and having been a part of that Movement tonite, I can vouch for and attest that we will win on the 8th.
