Bumper Sticker Of The Day…

Independence Day

About Patriot Dreamer

“When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion – when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing – when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors – when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you – when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice – you may know that your society is doomed.” ~Ayn Rand *************************************************** In the battle between good intentions vs. unintended consequences….UC always win. ~Sharon

This is not on topic, and sorry if this offends anyone.
However I am perplexed at the never Trumpers and this latest lawsuit in Virginia, and the never Trumpers in Arizona.
I know that they want to vote their conscience, but so what. Why don’t they just step down and piss off. They keep rattling on about Mr. Trump needing to unify the party, but they never stop. Why are they allowed to go to the convention. If they just want to disturb, and attempt to destroy this great movement. Mr. Trump got something like 14,000,000 votes. Yet they drone on, and on.
It truly is mind-boggling to me that these #never Trumpers continue to get media time, without the RNC slapping them down. I mean REALLY SLAP THEM DOWN.
    They are treasonous thumb suckers.

Have you ever seen one in the wild?

I’ve had three opportunities to do so from close up and numerous distant observations……twice watching them hunt and kill…..

They are truly majestic…and the recognition is instantaneous..once you’ve seen one you will never confuse it with anything else…

That’s on the upper Gulf Coast of Texas….Trinity, Neches and Sabine river areas….

Bald eagles are my obsession and I couldn’t agree more 🙂 You know, Ben Franklin wanted the TURKEY for our national bird. He deemed the bald eagle to be of “low moral character.” Franklin was a brilliant man who had absolutely no comprehension that there is no morality in nature.

Ayn Rand, from Atlas Shrugged. Fantastic choice. Best. Book. Ever.

    • Sentient says:

Sorry. Hated it. The writing is pure dreck and it provides intellectual fodder for the likes of Paul Ryan who’s taken Rand’s open borders fantasy to heart without the corollary principle of letting people sink or swim without the help of government (or even charity, which Rand opposed). As Milton Friedman said, you can have open borders or a welfare state (safety net), but not both. Paul Ryan – a self-described Ayn Rand disciple – gives us both.

So you liked John Galt, did ya?

In fairness, Ms Rand spent her early years in Communist Russia, so she had an innate appreciation of freedom not possible for those growing up here.

    Dear friends,
I happened to come across this incredible article just a few minutes ago and had to post it at my favorite blog. It’s wonderful! Sundance, it deserves to be a headline article for tomorrow!

Had the misfortune of hearing Mark Levin tonight. What an idgit. How come these self-proclaimed free-traders can’t comprehend that not all deals are good deals? If you sell your late mom’s $300,000 house for $150,000, you did a bad deal. When > 50% of cars sold in the US are foreign, yet only 4% of cars sold in Japan are foreign, we’ve done some bad deals. As Don says, Japan is ripping us. And it’s not just manufacturing. It’s professional services, IT services, intellectual property, etc.

    • Paul Killinger says:

Exactly. You know, if someone had told me 30 years ago that we would be giving away the store with trade, and at the same time importing millions of unneeded workers displacing the citizens in our workforce, I would have said that was too fantastic to even be believed. Well, here we are and we’ve done it!

      • Paul Killinger says:

I think this is what Schumpeter had in mind when he declared, “Profit is a penalty.” He just never told us it would look like an episode from The Twilight Zone.

      • sunderance’s article recently about fig newtons made the case plain and simple.

I hope DJT wakes up the rest of the masses with specifics like this — everybody knows what a fig newton is. Raping the land/resources and then sending the manufacturing out of the country is not hard to understand! Hey, American’s, you are good enough to spend your $$ on these, but apparently you aren’t good enough to make them. wake the hell up!
