conventionGiven the increased scrutiny now evident in the Presidential Race it is interesting to note the Republican Party in Indiana has selected their contingent of delegates in advance of the primary election to be held May 3rd, 2016.
Indiana has 57 Delegates Available to the winner on a State and Congressional District level.  30 (10 base at-large delegates plus 17 bonus delegates plus 3 RNC delegates) statewide delegates are to be allocated to the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes statewide.

For the first round of convention voting the delegates are bound to vote for the candidate who wins the State or District, depending on their assignment.   However, beyond the first ballot requirement, which candidate each of the delegates ultimately align with is a matter of individual preference.
How many of the above are ultimately Donald Trump, Ted Cruz or John Kasich supporters is an unknown variable.  However, speculation continues to grow that most of the Indiana delegates are aligned with candidate Ted Cruz – research could probably confirm those suspicions.
