Bumper Sticker Of The Day…

Trump Leads the Pack

About Patriot Dreamer

“When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion – when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing – when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors – when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you – when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice – you may know that your society is doomed.” ~Ayn Rand *************************************************** In the battle between good intentions vs. unintended consequences….UC always win. ~Sharon

I was wondering where to post a link when I saw this:
“and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you –”

Lame Cherry has a bio on Obama’s Supreme Court choice

All I can say is the link contains more than I ever expected, and the quote is fulfilled

  9. I saw a post on here before this one and there’s this fella who says that the voters don’t pick the candidate, the delegates do. Don’t the voters pick the delegates? I’m not that politically smart, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

But I love that bumper sticker of the day. He’s already leading the pack. He was doing that when there were 17 candidates, and now there are only 5, including the Democrats.

    • Sam says:

The delegates are party insiders who get selected for loyalty to the GOP. Delegates are chosen at caucuses or by the party. Voters determine who the bound delegates vote for the first time. There are also a certain number of unbound delegates who can vote for whomever they (and the party) prefer. If no candidate goes into the convention with the automatic winning number of delegates, the delegates vote on candidates.

I’m generalizing here since different states select delegates differently. Sundance has written some excellent explanations of how it all works. Try a search of the site using the search bar on this website.

      • I’ve read some of sundance’s articles. I’ve found them to be very informative and educational, and in a few instances, disturbing. Not offensive, but when people say that the truth hurts, they weren’t kidding. I wonder how people could get away with such deceptions for so so long. Thank you for your explanation, as it helps me to understand it somewhat better.

Just re-read Sundance’s post (during NH) “Trump Gives a Glimpse of the Golden Arrow Targeted …” and am reminded of how Trump is several steps ahead of the pack of wolves!! This has got to be a big ego blow to all the party “betters”!

See the included video too. It’s a preview of President Trump in action. Impressive!

As the only non-warmonger Repub, he’s got major neocon wolves to deal with this week. Hang tight guys – every move has proven masterful so far.

    After 8 years of Trump.
The Senate Majority Leaders and Speakers of the House will fear being beheaded and their heads being stuck on the whitehouse fence.
Bureaucrats and the other useless members in government will be in soup lines or begging.
Wall Street – the part of it that only shuffles and does not produce wealth – will be in prison.
The green screechers will be silenced and we will be energy independent though it might cost more.
Crime of illegal immigrants will be a distant memory.
Crime of the politically connected will be a distant memory.
We will have an integrated economy and not be dependent on Islamists or Confucians
Welfare will end as there will be good paying jobs as an alternative.
No one will want for health-care or insurance.
People will be judged on the content of their character, not on.the quality and quantity of their connections.
    SCOTUS nonsense will be overturned.
Many idealists and purists will mourn while admitting America is great again.

Senate cloture vote failed today on a bill supported by Cruz, would have prevented states from requiring GMO labeling, would have set up a federal unit to teach the public of the safety of GMO etc (the Biotechnology Labeling Solutions Act of 2016 (S. 2609))

This has probably been posted before here, but just thought I’d share it for those of you who haven’t seen it yet. It’s Trump doing an interview in the early ’90s. He’s been concerned about the same economic issues for a long, long time and it makes it clear why he’s running today. A very in-depth interview.

“it’s true that the Leftmedia don’t love Trump, but that doesn’t mean they don’t love to cover him.” In fact, they love to cover him to the tune of almost $2 billion in free coverage, according to a new study. For comparison, the next closest presidential candidate is Hillary Clinton at $746 million. In fact, you have to combine Clinton with the entire Republican field to reach the coverage Trump alone has received.

This pretty much sums up why the beltway bandits are so terrified of Trump. The ones who know him are well aware that he can do just this while the ones who don’t know him are worried that he can. Trump has already put together the kind of cross-party constituency that will absolutely bury Hillary. He did this entirely on his own, through the force of his personality, using his own people, and completely outside of the Republican party establishment. They know if he can do that and win without them, then he won’t need them when he’s president. And they’re right. GO TRUMP!!
