I’m not quite sure where I should post this. I believe that Mr. Trump needs to give a great opening or closing statement at the next debate demonstrating his clear intentions. I believe he should give a speech something like this:
    #########################

I have been a successful businessman for more than 40 years and the record of my accomplishments is well known and documented. I have watched the American Dream slip away. My own fortune rose and fell at one time because of economic recession caused by poor tax and other policies. I worked hard to restore what I almost lost to achieve the level I have today. While doing that, I also learned a lot in order to make sure it never happened again.

The American Dream has slipped away because of poor policies put into place largely by people who have absolutely no idea how their policies affect the everyday Americans who just want a job they love that allows them to raise their families and enjoy some success. Career politicians, most with little to no business ownership or Executive experience and generally controlled by big business and lobbyist donors, have codified into law many policies with disastrous consequences. The most recent boondoggle being Obamacare, which I intend to repeal and replace.

Recessions have been caused by poor economic and banking policies and millions of people have lost their homes, their jobs and their nest eggs. In the last 25 years, disastrous, unbalanced trade policies like NAFTA and CAFTA have driven millions of once great middle class American jobs to foreign countries, shuttered thousands and thousands of manufacturing plants and driven millions into poverty. The United States invented the Middle Class and now it’s rapidly disappearing as more are driven into poverty. The Middle Class is what made American great. While all of this has been happening, our borders have been left wide open allowing rampant illegal immigrants to flood our country further straining our resources, particularly our schools, hospitals and legal system.

More recently, unbalanced environmental policies have driven farmers and ranchers off their lands, shuttered coal plants and other traditional energy. Central California used to be the “breadbasket of the world” and that has been destroyed. Now, rather than feeding the world, we are now a huge importer of food along with just about everything else and that places us at great risk.

In the last 15 years, we have galloped all over the world and spent trillions of dollars largely meddling in the business of other countries. This often meant deposing democratically elected leaders of other countries and then leaving their countries in turmoil because a leadership vacuum occurred. Financing this foreign adventurism has been put on the country’s credit card has driven us to third world status as the greatest debtor nation in the history of the world. We are leaving unsustainable debt on generations to come.

Meanwhile, our own roads, bridges, highways, electrical generation and many other aspects of our infrastructure is falling apart and is a time-bomb just waiting to explode.

Throughout this time, as I was building my business, I sat on the sidelines until I just could not do it anymore. I look at the others here who are mostly nice people, but they are all career politicians and I believe that Americans are sick of career politicians whose greatest success is getting elected over and over again while watching our country decline under their leadership.

Throughout this 40 year period, I had been told that a businessman could not be elected as President of the United States. Why not? I build tangible things. I did not make my money out of thin air like many. America needs to be run like a business with budgets we stick to and accountability at every level to make sure that the United States of America prospers. We’ve been hearing about waste, fraud and abuse in government for decades, but no one ever gets rid of it. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I will see that we significantly reduce the size of government making it more efficient … just like successful business people do every day.

I know that I have the skills, decades of experience and demonstrated success. I don’t just talk. I’m a man of action. I get things done. Americans are craving for an experienced leader who knows that we cannot be the greatest country in the world again and return our standing unless we Put America First. That is what I plan to do and with the help of the American People, we truly can Make America Great Again.

    • It’s a nice thing you wrote, Trump has been saying all that already, but in his own way. Aren’t you tired of watching Obama ready others’ words off a teleprompter, or politicians who memorize some think-tank thoughts, which are not their own so what they say easily instantly become a lie because they have no attachment to thoughts without inner meaning. They feel no attachment to them. Wouldn’t you rather hear a vulgarian that is truthful then a silver tongue slickoid who is nothing but a closet manipulator?

IMO his presence and words at a debate, particularly in a closing statement, needs to wrap it all up in just a few minutes where he is somber, serious and Presidential. He’ll do plenty of sparring before that. I talk with people everyday and I find myself having to defend him and I’ve sadly encountered some who have now gotten turned off by months of it, even though they like what he’s accomplishing. He has everyone’s attention now and I believe he now needs to be eloquent in his closing comments. His rallies are fabulous and I enjoy watching every one of them.

Goodness, you didn’t need to scream. I love him and he is an incredible talent. However, some of what he has said has been perceived as scary to some, thus making them wonder if he can be trusted with the nuclear football, as an example. I am also in sales and most of my customers are the owners/presidents of small to medium-sized manufacturing companies and this is largely coming from them.

Like I said before, he’s got everyone’s attention now. Again, I’m not talking about his rallies or even the question/answer period at the debates. This somberness is intended for closing statements.

Rubio has been getting a lot of boosting from the media, especially Fox News, and the Iowa results gave him his moment in the sun. This will always cause a bounce in any polls that are done immediately after. So it should not be surprising that Rubio will get a bump in the polls, but this will settle back. This is always the problem with taking polls so close to an event – it always influences.

For example Cruz has been getting hammered for the Iowa fraud, so expect him to show a hit in the polls, taken after this, even with his Iowa result.

Same with the debates, Fiorina had a bounce in the polls when she had her moment so to speak, but it soon settled back to where it was, and she has stayed there ever since!

Big Corporations/Businesses investigate the people they anticipate making deals with. We see it done in movies all the time, i.e. “The Rockford Files?” Or “Know your enemies.” So Trump must have been doing it, too. He has to have some very destructively, detailed files on lots of people. Especially on Congress. Now in Congress, members are bought out/blackmailed by corporation lobbyists to pass laws and make bad deals that destroy american jobs/workers. The members of this political cesspool are treasonous parasites killing America. Think NAFTA, now the TPP, amnesty for illegals. Trump can make successful deals because He Knows details/secrets.

TRUMP is the best candidate and will be a BIG fight all the way. If the convention becomes brokered and it will if TRUMP is the WINNER look for the nomination to be kept from him. That is the RINOGOPe last line of defense. ONLY chance if he TRUMP goes 3rd party and that is fine with the RINOGOPe as long as the UNIPARTY stays in POWER. Cruz has removed any lingering doubts about any veracity, integrity or morally righteous character he supposedly had. He is a complete liar and fraud, no better than any of them. In fact, he may be worse because he is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and, if let loose, he will destroy everything, and I do mean everything. The longer he stays in the campaign, the more crystal clear it becomes how devious and deviant he really is. Those pundits who still defend him despite all the evidence of his duplicity just in the last 4 or 5 days, should be shunned. Completely.

    • It’s the vote counting where the real fraud exists. Both the polls and more importantly the counting (Microsoft) must be monitored.

Still is so suspicious that I can go get my car smogged in a tiny smogging center in rural Arizona and within 15 minutes the garage can send the smog certification to the state which posts it immediately. We should be able to see every vote real time and on screen throughout the entire process.

In high tech 2016, this is not in place in our voting system because the establishment has been cheating and defrauding American voters for so long they don’t want it to be.

BTW, my friends in California won’t vote due to they say the vote is fixed so why bother. I assured them that this time Trump would make sure it wouldn’t be. That assurance was proved wrong in Iowa, but I am hopeful this time in New Hampshire it won’t be.

A problem I observe in listening to Trump is that he always cites the official government/media narrative to base his opinions on. This goes counter to investigating pertinent background on which to base deal negotiations. When lies become the message, when can one ever believe the messenger? Obama/Media/Cruz. Which liars are the most believable?

Trump, by accepting government/media LIES as truthful sources, is promoting the lies being fed to ordinary Americans. Apparently, you do not do your own research, but I bet Trump and his staff do. Which means Trump is being PC so as not to offend people who actually are complacent with lies. Trump is too world smart to be hood-winked, so why would he want do cover for liars? Like Obama, who got himself in a blackmail bind, which is why he caved to Iran. Now, no one has to believe this, but to be fair, the subject should be researched–ISIS=US-ISIS:

Obama “Destroyed” After US Navy Boats Transporting Top ISIS Terror Leader Captured By Iran
Posted by EU Times on Jan 17th, 2016 //
The Ministry of Defense (MoD) is reporting today that the Obama regimes “master plan” for dealing with the Islamic Republic of Iran has been “completely destroyed” after special naval forces belonging to the Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution (Sepāh) during the past fortnight captured two “highly armed and sophisticated” United States Navy Riverine Command Boats (RCB) under the command of the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) operating from the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain who were transporting to Kuwait for transfer to Syria of a “top level” Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/Daesh) terror commander.

        • Linda, I understand what you are saying completely. How I reconcile that is the fact that many people must be fed milk before they can digest meat.

Those who are healthy and robust can handle a steak dinner, but those who have been starving for so long cannot. Likewise babies. And this is the condition of much of the electorate.

We saw that in regards to Putin, when Trump spoke of him with respect and said he wants to restore friendly relations with Russia. The babies and those starving from lack of truth could not handle it, not even putting up with giving Putin a world leader any respect, and so Trump walked it back a bit for their sake.

People all want truth but are not all on the same level of digesting the same amount of it.

          I hope this helps.

We are not talking to the masses that Trump is communicating to. We here want solid truth and unknown facts. We are part of the foundation that Trump is building on, and needs if he does become President. We should not back away from info that can affect us, especially if it exposes lies. We may not agree, but we sometimes need to flip coins to see what is on the other side to evaluate. It is we who have to carry the message to whomever will listen, even if it is to just one person. By the way, how many newcomers get drawn to CTH by what they have seen, or have read elsewhere. Even that is success in reaching the uninitiated. So onward!!

Cussing on the battlefield or the construction site is far different than on a world stage for the leader of the free world. Fighting and killing is dirty work and I’d expect some of that kind of talk for the battlefield.

Cussing does not exude power. There is no power in citing hell, damnation, nor excrement. Power comes from within and can be translated and conveyed through the emotion and strength of a person and there are better power words than cuss words. Cuss words don’t mean the same thing to everybody and because of that they should not be used. The goal of communication is to real everyone, not a specific few.

        • The truth is that many evangelical voters have written him off just because of the swearing. I have read that on their blogs and Trump himself has told us people frown upon his swearing. So he knows. On the other hand, swearing is a hard habit to break, but should be done when speaking to the American people because many don’t appreciate the cussing.

If he were a general or a man out in combat it is one thing, but on a world stage speaking to people it is not. I imagine it is viewed just as bad in translation to other countries. For instance the word “screwed” in English is not as vulgar as it is when translated into Italian, the “F” word is what it translates to, not simply “messing up.”

Personally, I cringe when I hear it, but I would not write him off and will still support him. I don’t like to hear any gutter talk nor even ghetto talk. Language is so beautiful and there are so many other creative ways to say bombastic things without mentioning damnation, hell, and excrement. Once in a while is ok but he is becoming more frequent about it, which I chock up to him being tired from the grueling demands of the campaign.

Maxine, I am 73, raised in Texas by loving parents…my dad was a banker, and didn’t curse except with some of him male buddys over a joke maybe…My mother was a LADY and Christian and did not put up with potty mouth…Once, as a fifteen year old, I got all excited about something talking to one of my guy buddies at the kitchen table at the house and accidentally let an “F bomb” fly…..holy Toledo…she walked out and refused to talk to me all day, When my dad got home, I told him what happened and begged him to go talk with Mother to let me apologize….he went and “negotiated” an opportunity for me to make a serious apology and pledge not to say that word ever again in front of her or any other lady. She never mentioned it again, and I truly got the message… And I did not ever curse in front of my Mother again EVER…and I am not a sweet talker, but I don’t like cursing in front of Ladies at all….trouble is, today…there are not many Ladies out there anymore.

I do not think Trump uses curse words crudely, although the words are crude. He is engaging an audience that is very mixed, mostly pretty young, and the older ones I believe will cut slack so that he can address everyone and Get Their Attention….He is blunt, and not Politically Correct.

I would follow this man as a leader to the Gates of Hell….our nation MUST have him lead our people and get us on course again.

I hope my comments are not taken insulting nor patronizing….i think that I understand how he is doing this complex thing he is doing…like threading a needle with a small eye and thread the size of a rope.

        Trump 2016…Treepers Unite….

Same here, never were allowed to curse at home, we were taught respect. Gosh, just talking back got us a mouth full of Ivory or sometimes a slap. We learned lessons very quickly! It just seems to reflect the anger we feel right now. We are not ignorant, just very upset and I relate to Mr. Trump’s passion and language. It’s the same as I experience with my friends today. We’re too damn old to worry about language and being PC. We are more worried about our country right now.

Oh! And here I thought ours was the only family with a mother who meant it when she said she was going to wash our mouths out with soap. She didn’t really need to repeat the punishment more than once because, trust me, you did NOT want to have to go through that again… 😉 For the last years of her life, she lived with me and I was her primary caregiver. The first time she said “damn” in front of me when she was 84 years old, I nearly fainted from the shock! One of the side effects of dementia, alas. But it really was pretty funny. I still treasure that memory just because.

My mother was deeply offended by taking the Lord’s name in vain. To this day I just don’t do it. Foul language offended her in general, so I minded my vocabulary out of respect. I am sure that Donald has a keen and immediate sense of his audience, it is a real skill, and he is a master. The occasional slip, reminds me that he is a very real person.

For those of you with fragile sensibilities who are offended by Mr. Trump’s occasional swear word, my advise to you is to GET OVER IT, already, or we’re going to have to send you to a “safe space”. I’m sure you would have been extremely offended by Gen. Patton, but would you not want him to win a war? We are in a war to save our country, and he is the strong leader we need. I will gladly be following him into battle and fight to Make America Great Again!

I love Trump, but swear words are NOT necessary to make a point. My entire family lives without cursing and children don’t swear not only because they are told not to, but they are shown also by example it’s not necessary. Like it or not many people look to a president to set an example.

People who don’t like it “need to get over it”? Trump is going to do what Trump is going to do, but if every vote counts… are there any people that would form negative impressions of him because he doesn’t swear versus are there people that will form negative impressions of him because he curses? What’s important here?

The man does not drink. He does not smoke. His kids do not drink nor smoke. His kids have never been in trouble, and are responsible adults who hold jobs and work every day. The man has meals with his kids whenever the family can get together and they Discuss the World together…..and you want to bother to lecture about language. When your kids are grown, and responsible citizens like Trumps kids, then you can measure how important your no curse work rules work…If they read literature in college, they are going to be around all manner of “curse words”….if they go to school…they are going to be around kids ALL DAY that curse regularly. Anyone that forms an opinion based on words, grammar, or religion are missing the point. You have NO one to vote for for President if that is your criterion…..and you kids are going to hear it all no matter what you rules are.

People hear he Wants to Make America Great Again….they do not pay attention to his TONE OR LANGUAGE unless they are nay sayers and skeptics anyway…or MSM or Democrats or Ted Cruz or Jeb Bush

I’m not sure I understand your comment. What’s important here, is your question, so are you saying good people who don’t swear (and good for them, that’s OK by me) would not vote to take our country back because Mr. Trump utters some curse words? THAT would be the basis for their decision? Are you suggesting that his “language”should be changed to pander to those that oppose swearing?

The one thing refreshing about Mr. Trump is, he is who he is, and he is honest. Isn’t that more important? Isn’t the country more important than sensibilities to words?

I don’t know one person in the whole world who curses because they think it’s necessary or because their parents taught them that it was necessary. More people curse then don’t. LOTS MORE. He’s not gonna lose because he curses. I think, if anything, a little evidence of true passion via non-PC expression is going to be a net positive.

The D’s said they didn’t know one person in the whole world that would vote R in prior elections. Someone ‘in the whole world’ voted R because they won. I have watched video of young kids and very young children cursing about killing jews, killing Trump, killing people, etc. They were taught by someone/parents who thought it necessary.

The rest of the post about what “D’s said” and people teaching their children to talk about killing is just off the wall weirdness to me. We’re talking about saying bullsh*t and similar. Not about killing. Some of these posts/threads are killing ME these days. Geesh. lol

I do not at my end of life enjoy listening to swearing, but I’m not offended. Is it okay to not want to see food in someones mouth moving around while still talking and also not be offended? Do I have to be offended about everything just because I don’t enjoy it? I lost my toe tag with life instructions about everything when born, darn that bad luck. This site/sundance person has caused a lot of soul searching and education in my group. Big hat tip and a big thank you.

I’ve noticed some new Trump people here wich is great. They want to know more about Trump but need more details. For me it easy know to hear him clearly but I’ve watched him from the start of his campaign. I SPEAK TRUMP sort of. Hopefully the new CTHs will watch Trump a few time IN DIFFERENT SETTINGS rally’s, interviews, town halls they all are diff. side of Trump. Seeing s of these combined w/ some Reasearch on his site and SD posting should give people a clearer image. If you put the effort in its worth it. Trump is speaking on a different level from the others.

On an another note, when Trump complained that he was not getting credit for not taking PAC money, I cringed. But it does show that a lot of Iowa crowd just stupidly ignored that important fact and instead voted for a out and out puppet, just because he spewed a few evangelical code words. Truth is that Cruz’s masters paid off or made promises to a large group of evangelical pastors, who in turn brainwashed the flock into voting for the Canadian.
