Trump Effect – Federal Government Auto-Balances Deficit Before Even First Vote Counted…

Fantastic News !!!  This is beyond stunning.  25% of Federal Government Employees agree to quit their jobs if Donald Trump wins the presidency.   This action would thereby guarantee a balanced budget within the first fiscal year of his administration.

(Via Executive Government) Donald Trump leads the Republican field among federal employees, but many still say they would never work for him.

One in four federal workers would consider leaving their jobs if Trump were elected president, according to a new survey conducted by the Government Business Council, Government Executive Media Group’s research arm. About 14 percent of respondents said they would definitely consider leaving federal service under President Trump, while an additional 11 percent said they might.

The findings indicate those leaving government would come from agencies’ top ranks, as a majority of respondents were in General Schedule positions GS-13 and higher.

Nearly as many Democrats said they would consider leaving in a Trump administration as would definitely stay, the survey found. Among Democrats, 42 percent said they would consider leaving, while 48 percent would not. Just 8 percent of Republican feds would consider refusing to work in a Trump presidency. (read more)

Finally! My prayers answered and Trump is NOT our president yet. So when he is in the WH and doing nothing, we will get rid of the excess/useless federal employees, all the libs and free loaders that are going to move out of the country and the illegal immigrants that are taking the jobs from us. WOW and that is doing nothing. Trump is going to be great for our country!

GS13 is professional-level salary. I haven’t looked at the tables in a while but that might be around $80K/year.

If these employees are like most, they have not capitalized on their plum position and stored money away for a rainy day. Some – accountants, etc. – will be able to find jobs but a lot of these well-paid employees do not have skills to transfer into such highly paying positions in the private market.

      True.

Additionally, most GS pay scale jobs don’t translate into private sector salaried.

GS gets overtime working more than 40-hours.

Salaried private sector jobs often work 50 to 60 hours a week, if you include time connected to smart phones/e-mail, even for non-management jobs.

Only GS pay scale supervision works those kind of extra hours.

Not to mention they really suck when it comes to actually working. They hired a government chemist/manager to run the lab where I worked as a lab tech when just getting out of college. They fired him within three months for playing office politics BADLY instead of doing his job.

There are a lot of Federal employees who work. FBI, DEA, Federal Marshall Service all work.

The Corps of Engineers work…when they aren’t told by politicians to ignore good engineering like with the levies in New Orleans. (Head in hands)

The Center for Disease Control Hot Zone specialists damned well work. They were here in Dallas when Ebola was.

The issue with Gov’t workers is adequate oversight and proper metrics to get results…but that is true with all workers.

With Congress as the government worker’s real lords and masters…saints would be slobs working for those corrupt politicos.

Just like all those hollyweirdos and other reds who promised to leave the USA, if Shrub won when he won or when Reagan won or when Nixon won–would that they weren’t such pathological liars and had actually left for good (as in “Good riddance to bad garbage!”). In this instance, those who leave “gummint disservice” would merely be avoiding getting fired.

I finally have a reason to vote for Trump, not that it will matter when California has its primary in June. I support Ted Cruz but have been predicting Trump will win for the past six weeks, and expect Cruz will have dropped out, or conceded, by then. My prediction was, and is:

Trump will win the first two primaries, in New Hampshire and South Carolina, with an average of about 40% of the total GOP in those two states. Then he’ll win all or almost all of the next primaries, all on Super Tuesday, with an average of 50% of the GOP vote in those states. And the GOP nomination will then be decided – Trump will be the nominee. Then he’ll go on to a major victory in November, perhaps a 40+ state sweep.

I sure hope all those federal employees resign as they say they will.

    Interesting article:

    http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/02/how-donald-trump-did-it-213581

It seems that the New York GOP tried to get him to run for governor two years ago. That’s when he declined and let everybody know that he was planning a run for president.

Keep that in mind when people tell you he’s not really a Republican.

    • Sure, your friend probably really does want to help people, unlike the ATF folks who just enforce ridiculous regulations of alcohol laws from the 1930s. If you are not in the biz, you have no idea how much those guys are despised. Whereas, small town cops in most places are beloved, Norman Rockwell types.

Happened to my husband. Tons of brown nosing and cronyism and nepotism at the higher levels……so corrupt. I lost out on a federal job I did for rwo years as a volunteer. It went to a Hispanic female, who was fired from the federal prison for getting involved with the inmates l. Of course the feds do not put this information in files, plus the Hispanic female had very good friends higher up.
