pakistan-taliban-knife(Independent) Three Americans have been kidnapped by militants in the Iraqi capital city of Baghdad.

According to Arab news channel Al-Arabiya, well-informed sources in Baghdad have confirmed that the kidnapping took place in the south of the city on Sunday.

The US State Department confirmed it was aware of the reports, and said it was working with Iraqi authorities to locate and recover the missing Americans.  The identities of the kidnap victims or the militias have not yet been confirmed.

The reported kidnapping comes at a time of increased tensions between the predominantly Shia militias of southern Iraq and US-backed Saudi Arabia, following the latter’s execution of prominent Shia cleric Nimr al-Nimr. (link)

Iran has broken America like a little boy. We are whupped. We are a disgusting bunch of pussy’s. I don’t see any other way to explain it. Iran has won. America is defeated. Congratulations to Obama, The Left, The GOP, and all the leadership of this pathetic defeated country.

Did you see 13 Hours? There are millions of us, like those guys, and we are PISSED OFF.
Iran has not only not won anything, they don’t have any idea what they are arousing…yet. If you want to feel sorry for someone or something feel sorry for Iran and islam…not that they are worth it in the least. They are dead men, and likely women and children, walking.

That was my first thought. I really believe Obama/V. Jarrett are behind all this #$@!.

Did they get some new, top secret piece of equipment too? Maybe Obama should crash a drone in Iran again, some things have been updated since the last hand off of our technology.

Those theories about Amb. Stevens being set up for kidnapping in exchange for the blind Sheikh sound logical. What are they going to use when all the GITMO prisoners are gone? Oh yeah, there are billions to be laundered.

It took exactly ONE DAY for the Obama hostage trade to encourage more Americans to be kidnapped. Jimmy Carter is the only American who’s benefitted from this disastrous presidency. He’s no longer the worst we ever had.

Iran sanctions: Middle East stock crash wipes £27bn off markets as Tehran enters oil war

Stock markets across the Middle East saw more than £27bn wiped off their value as the lifting of economic sanctions against Iran threatened to unleash a fresh wave of oil onto global markets that are already drowning in excess supply.

All seven stock markets in the Gulf states tumbled as panic gripped traders. London shares are now braced for a second wave of crisis to hit when they open on Monday morning after contagion from China sent the FTSE 100 to its worst start in history last week.

Dubai’s DFM General Index closed down 4.65pc to 2,684.9, while Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index, the largest Arab market, collapsed by 7pc intraday, before recovering to end down 5.44pc at 5,520.41, its lowest level in almost five years.

Iraqi media reports said the Americans went missing in south Baghdad on their way to Baghdad International Airport. A Western security official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to brief the media, said Sunday that he had been told that three Americans went missing 24 to 48 hours ago.

    • Tracer Round says:

Heard on the news this morning that the “Americans” were Iraqis that were recently given American citizenship and were “contractors” working for DoS.

Were apparently captured in a brothel in the south part of Baggadad.

Four captives are released from Iran (at the cost of Americans life’s blood), and now ISIS has Americans; wonder what or if Obama will trade this time! If is the Oval Office, I hope at least he’s in it when they take possession!

How many more kidnappings until Gitmo is “cleansed”? It started with the 10 sailors (staged by our regime, I believe and predicted the day the sailors “surrendered”). 7 Yeminis released the day after. Now, up to 12 Iranians for the 4 American hostages. Now, 3 more Americans,,, How many more from Gitmo? I only look stupid.

This trade was a “stupid” deal! But, this has always been Obama’s plan, first, destroy; second, divide; third, make America weak; and forth, disarm, the “Plan” is the final take over of America.

Sad truth is, our founding father’s knew this day would come, a day when a tyrant would achive power, so they gave us the right to “Impeach – Remove” that person. We’ve had over 7-yrs of Obama’s treasonous ways, and We the People won’t Impeach that “black hearted” dog! (And that’s a Muslim slur, not a racist one!); I’m not Muslim but it fits!
If We the People won’t stand for our freedoms, someone will take them – and that’s Obama and his liberal-left crowd – they grow bolder and stronger everyday! We have only ourselves to thank.

Trump just told Stephanopoulos that this trade was a terrible deal.

It will just encourage more hostage taking.

If the “24-48 hours ago” timeframe noted above is correct, this was going down right in the midst of the media hoopla over The Great Iran Deal. At least we know the State Dept. is capable of keeping things out of the news.

Tonight’s breaking news across all of msm–Trump caused kidnapping of Americans when criticizing the president’s historical Iran agreement and the return of hostages for 150 billion and untold amount convicted Iranian criminals and stating it would encourage more hostage situations.

In all seriousness, I hope they are found unharmed and without any more American blood spilled. Although ISIS might seem like the more obvious perpetrators, Iran has a heavy, welcome (from the Iraqis) presence in Iraq now. With all that’s happened this week. Is it possible they would do this as a big middle finger to the US and to shove our weakness under the poser in our White House down our throats?

Trump 2016, now more that ever before.

I agree, Saudi Arabia and their salifist Islamic terror army ISIS are far more dangerous to Americans in Iraq than the Iranian militia. Iraq is made up of many indigenous factions as well as nation states who all have competing interests. It seems to me that S.A. has a lot more to gain in kidnapping Americans based on the economic and geopolitical ramifications from the Iranian sanctions relief and nuke deal.

Less than two months ago, President Obama went on international television to announce that he was sending Fifty men to Iraq to assist the troops. Within 48 hours, a bounty had been placed on the heads of those fifty men.

It is only going to get worse.

Sunni and Shiite militants are present in the Iraqi capital, but Shiite militias operate as powerful auxiliary forces. Many of those militias are backed by Iran.

Some analysts who closely follow Iran and its regional proxies suggested Sunday that the abduction of American citizens in Baghdad, if true, may have been a projection of Iranian power, in particular by hard-liners who opposed the prisoner deal with the United States over the weekend. Iran released four Iranian Americans with dual citizenship who were being held in Iranian prisons; the United States offered clemency to seven Iranians charged or imprisoned for sanctions violations. American authorities also dismissed charges against 14 Iranians outside the United States.

Some local media reports said that Shiite militias had indeed abducted the Americans, but that news was not confirmed.

  14. “We know that. Don’t you think we know that? We just got some people released after years in Iran. These new hostages will just have to wait their turn,” US State Department spokesman John Kirby said.
