Donald Trump Full “unabridged/extended” Interview on Face The Nation (video)…

Presidential Candidate Donald Trump appeared today in a pre-taped interview with CBS Face The Nation.  The first two videos are how they appeared on CBS, and to their credit the third video is the full unabridged/extended version which CBS presents:

(Aired video #1)

(Aired video #2 second part)

Here’s the *unabridged/extended version:

*My hunch is that Donald Trump presents himself for these CBS interviews with the full understanding they will present the extended versions. Available online.

It really was. Concise, direct, deliberate and on target.

I liked that he pointed out Cruz copying his positions and the in-authenticity of the message therein. I also liked how he responded to the “give me a PC example”, and how he changed the question to explain the need for urgency..

One of his best ever interviews.

This is the biggest retort to any Cruzbot. Cruz is not a leader. He’s only been in the Senate two years and has been ineffective. He’s not defining this race and wouldn’t have a chance in this fight if it were not for Donald Trump. So why should anyone turn around and support Cruz, when they can support the actual candidate defining all the issues Cruz now supports?

A Cruzbot won’t listen. A Cruzbot will tell you that his hero has been a great leader in the Senate. Never mind that the entire Senate, with the exception of two or three others, despises him. The Cruzbots think the great man from Texas is some kind of Messiah. They remind me of the Obaggers from back in 2008 just on a different end of the political spectrum.

I think Cruz is a diabolical candidate who is willing to do anything he can to prolong his time into the race. If he gets off a win in IA, he will pour everything he can into SC win or Top 2.

He would like nothing more than to have TRUMP not get enough delegates going into the convention so he could broker the best outcome for him between Trump of the GOPe.
Don’t forget the GOPe will still try turn “Winner take all states”, to proportional if Trump starts off strong.

Right, he surely wont endorse Trump. He is by now the only option of the establishment to get to a brokered convention. Cruz has a ceiling of 10% who are cruzbots and the various 5-15 % are potentially Trump voters. This 10% could be enough to avoid Trump getting over 50%

Im pretty sure that, at least until the winner takes all states, all candidates who are able to get at least 1 Delegate will stay in the race.

My problem with Cruz is that he never say that he is doing that, he never gives credit to Trump for being the originator of the ideas he is copying and the worst is that once he gets the Presidency, God forbid, he will forget about his promises and do what his masters tell him to do. Thanks for posting these. I don’t watch the Sunday morning shows since discovering The Consrvative Treehouse. I wait to see what what you post here.

I continue to be impressed with the way Trump stays on top of the wording his interviewers use with him. Very sharp. He didn’t fall into the trap of allowing himself to be boxed into when or for what reason he’d use a nuke, but neither did he give any soundbite that he would never use a nuke. That’s not easy to do.

He handled the “women’s issues” line of questions beautifully. Not a pander to be found. He happens to be correct about woman not liking Hillary, being turned off by her. It’s brilliant of him to bring it up – he’s creating a narrative and he’s also creating a safe zone for women to admitted it out loud.

Just a fine interview. Anyone who has seen it should feel very good, very secure, that this man will be a doer who always places the interests of the United States first in any decision.

As for Cruz – he “discussed” him fairly. Not one word can be used to say “Trump slams Cruz”, because he didn’t slam, didn’t attack. Just discussed him soberly on the issues. That’s interesting. He continues to treat Cruz respectfully, which is why I don’t engage in Cruz bashing. I am convinced Trump wants Cruz to still be “viable” for a future position in a Trump administration.

You could be correct singatune, maybe it’s just not time. I have no idea what his thinking is on Cruz.
I just find it interesting. He seems to genuinely like both Cruz & Carson, but Carson made the mistake of getting too close in the polls and The Donald schlonged him. So far, he’s treating Cruz with great respect. Just an observation I made, that’s all.

As for Cruz’s eligibility – well, perhaps that’s why Trump basically leaves him alone, he believes him ineligible. I tend to believe he’s not eligible, but some scholars are arguing he is. I suppose it would have to be litigated and the courts not concerned with my belief !

When it comes to bashing Cruz, I follow Trump’s lead. He doesn’t so I don’t. When he does, I will too.

I think not “bashing” Cruz has little to do with
wanting the TPA, H1B visa and Corker bill
supporter in a future position in a Trump
          administration.

Trump doesn’t just “bash” people for no
reason. The others came out and lambasted
Trump first. Trump just retaliated. Cruz,
the Eddie Haskell/Anne Baxter of the
campaign, has laid off Trump for the most
          part.

At this late date in the primary season,
it makes no sense to get Cruz’s

in a knot. After Iowa…anything goes.

          Not exactly. Romney likely won.
Rove & Morris weren’t entirely wrong about Florida & Ohio. There were computer programs in the main computer that flagged & flipped the votes when the tally reached 49-51%, which is why Trump needs 65% or higher.
Morris & Rove knew this on election night. They are pros at thus, but had to be zipped.

          SABOTAGE:
Unless Trump gets a court order to get program expert to inspect the main computers in every state, just before the polls open, they will flip the vote for Hillary.
The demo- Rats will appeal that to the Supreme Court.

No state treasury secy will allow a full state paper recount.
& the GOP HAS A DEAL WITH THE DEMO-RATS BY COURT ORDER:
          No disputes of voter fraud.

          http://www.wnd.com/2012/11/gop-legally-barred-from-fighting-vote-fraud/

So Trump must think out of the box long before the Super Tuesday primaries, which are winner take all & easy to steal.

The advantage of a 3rd party is they still can challenge voter fraud in court.

Trump has to be far more then a cheerleader. He had to expose it before primary day.

This! This! Once Trump has the nomination sewed up, going after truing the voting machines and correcting the greatest fraudulent areas [close votes] that will be needed for victory is first and foremost. If there is no honest voting, then it is all for naught. As an American historian I am aware that voting fraud is as American as apple pie, unfortunately. But it has been limited up to this time. It is extremely serious now that there are no paper ballots to recount, if they can be safeguarded. Anyone can reprogram a voting machine. Then there are all those voters on the rolls that don’t belong there. What an effort this will take — but what a cleaning out of vermin and vipers will be the outcome. The task will be Herculean, like Trump’s from the beginning. However, it is something to look forward to — but it will take an “army”.

It worked. We have had an excellent relationship with the Japanese since the horror of the atomic bomb and domestic internment camps. Maybe it’s time to let them handle their own military affairs, but with Chinese aggression on the rise, it’s maybe not the best idea, at least while China owns so much of our debt.

    1) The first Democrat debate where she was asked what qualified her to be president. Her response was “I am a woman” while grinning from ear to ear.
    2) The DNC has said (all women on the Committee by the way) ‘it is time for the first woman president and it will be Hillary Clinton. It’s her turn.’
    3) At the second Democrat debate she was late getting back on stage. When she got back to her podium she said ‘I’m sorry, you know it takes women longer.’
    4) At the third Democrat debate she was late getting back on stage again. She did not say anything distinguishable other than ‘I’m sorry’ but Bernie was babbling about something at the time.

In my opinion her bathroom break delays are a stunt to pander to women who have to wait in long lines at sporting events and concerts to somehow subliminally ‘connect’ with them that ‘women have bathroom needs’ that are different than men. Watch this stunt be used again when Hillary is debating Trump for the general election.

There are probably more examples, especially during the 2008 campaign, but I cannot stomach watching anything to do with her so I am unwilling to try to find it.

  16. George True says:

Say what you will about the original decision to invade, but the indisputable fact is that the Iraq war was WON when the usurper obama took office. Bush won it. When the Democrat controlled congress and even the senior military brass was considering the Iraq war lost, Bush talked to Colonels and Majors who told him it COULD be won and how they would do it. As a result, the strategy called the SURGE was initiated. The junior senator obama condemned the Surge, and predicted it would fail. Instead it succeeded completely

When the usurper took office, a status of force agreement with Iraq was already in place that stipulated 30,000 American troops be stationed in Iraq, to act, among other things, as a rapid reaction force against just such an occurrence as ISIS. One brigade of American troops along with just a few A-10 Warthogs or Apache Longbows could have and would have made short work of ISIS. Instead, theusurper pulled out all the troops despite the new government of Iraq begging him not to do it. Obama is directly responsible, that is he is the direct and purposeful CAUSE of the disaster that has become ISIS controlling substantial parts of Iraq and Syria.

There is a lot of good stuff in there but one thing really stood out for me.

Trump is a negotiator at all times. He’s keenly aware of what he says and what is important and what is valuable.

He made the media a threat/offer in this interview. He pointed out that he’s WELL under budget. He knows what he is doing to the media will not work as well when it’s Trump vs Hillary. The media favors Hillary and that’s where all of their attention will be. If there is anyone who needs to pay less money than Trump for media attention, it’s Hillary. If she asks for it, she will get it.

So Trump basically said “I don’t need to spend money, but I plan to spend a LOT of money.” This is how he is telling the media “I can keep doing what I’ve been doing and getting free press the way I have been, or I can advertise on your networks — the money is on the table. Do you want it? Will you treat me fairly?”

He knows exactly what he’s doing and he is going to win unless there is massive fraud and corruption. There are already signs of corruption. So we’ll see.

  19. All I can say is great. What a great interview. He gets better and better at wording his answers for the best possible impact. I wish he could have more time to answer questions in the debates like this because he has this great ability to keep talking until he knows he has hit the target. And stops immediately afterward. Hillary has no chance against him, not even with Slick Willies help…there is Aggies difference between reading a speech for impact and speaking from the heart 100%. Unless you are able to completely memorize all the words and act like an Oscar is on the line you will never beat Trump, unPC and spoken from the heart. It’s like talking to a sleezy salesman vs. your best friend. One is just right, and the other is annoying as hell.

Good interview. He’s got them confused and they don’t know where to attack him. There was the attempted subliminal line of attack regarding nuclear weapons, but he brought up that he wasn’t for going into Iraq, the dangerous situation of North Korea having nuclear weapons which isn’t mentioned much, and also that the neocons are more likely to trigger WWIII than him. Just one example, but a pleasure to watch. He continues to improve as he goes along, not being a career politician when he entered this process.

I don’t see Trump going down to the border with Glenn Beck and giving Teddy Bears and Soccer balls to illegal immigrants. That’s what Ted Cruz did,
