Excellent post. I’ve said for a long time that the two biggest threats to our way of life is lack of Congressional term limits creating a logjam of power and secondly, the Democrat controlled left wing media. The two work hand in hand. Trump is the ONLY one breaking up that logjam and cabal between the propaganda machine and the political power structure.

Not only is the Trumpinator pushing the media around, but he’s got them eating out of the palm of his hand many times! They fret over alienating him too much for fear of losing the dollars he generates for them. I don’t think people fully realize how simply amazing this is. Please, everybody, don’t take this for granted. This can possibly be a YUUUGE turning point for this country.

And yes, Trump just KILLS IT in Columbus! The crowd’s deafening!

I loved the OH-IO. Here in Ohio, we can’t get enough of that.

Pet peeve: There are many cities named Cleveland, yet none is the size of Cleveland, Ohio. When you read a story about Cleveland, they don’t say Cleveland, Ohio.

Likewise with Columbus. It is DMA 31 in terms of TV markets and a metro area of over 2 million people. You can say Columbus without the Ohio and I think most people will know what you mean.

Boy that was a barn burner of a speech. I don’t remember any speech that had that much cheering and yelling throughout his speech. He called out the liars of the press. How shameful that they twist stories and lie about anyone. Isn’t Slander and Defamation of Character still against the Law? They should be arrested and convicted. But we are too wimpy and lazy to even consider it. We want someone else to do it because we don’t have the Courage.

Well Kasich is having a rally in Tennessee near Knoxville December 1st! He’ll probably fill an entire living room with Kasich supporters…

“Ohio Gov. John Kasich, campaigning for the GOP presidential nomination, will attend a fundraiser in Maryville on Dec. 1, one of four events across the state that day.

John Crisp, president and CEO of Crisp Communications, a government relations firm in Nashville and volunteer state coordinator for Kasich’s campaign, said the fundraiser will be at 9 a.m. at the home of former Maryville Mayor Steve **** and wife Ruth.

From Maryville, Kasich will go to Nashville for two fundraisers and end the day in Memphis.

“We expect to see him quite a bit (in a) quick hopscotch across the state,” Crisp said.

Kasich will be the latest Republican contender to come to the area ahead of the March 1 presidential primary. Donald Trump was in Knoxville a week ago for a public rally drawing thousands, and Jeb Bush and Dr. Ben Carson were here in October.”

People who oppose Trump have made a claim that Trump doesn’t understand Unions.
So he can’t keep companies from relocating in Mexico or Europe.
But what Union wants to lose all those jobs?
    The debate point is silly.
    Ford is leaving.
    Nabisco is leaving.
Now, today, Pfizer announced it is leaving, too.
Unions don’t hold ALL those jobs but why would they want to lose any of them?

Actually Nanny unions have been very involved in the shipment of “American jobs” going to other countries as they felt it would expand their membership base, it was unions that endorsed NAFTA and worked tirelessly to abolish E-Verify hence defended illegal immagrunts to the detriment of American workers and lower wages.
Why do they do this for sweet deals like the auto bailout and being given seats on the BOD and shares they never had to purchase, for bloated pension bailouts that they pocket vs the actual workers etc.
I could go on for hours at how corrupt unions are and have always been, I suspect your query was somewhat rhetorical.

But we have to have surveillance of some mosques because some things are happening that aren’t good…” Trump is stating the obvious, and he is exactly right because it makes me sick to consider potential backlash against decent law-abiding Muslims of my acquaintance after the next 9/11, because a collection of fanatic criminals were allowed to run amok in the name of “tolerance”. That’s B.S. fake tolerance that will get a lot of innocent people hurt or killed.

BTW surveillance has been applied to Scientology, Branch Davidians, etc. etc. with full media approval. Why would media make an exception to self-preservation in the case of radical mosques?

Obama’s organizational skills were on display for all to see in the bombing of ISIS oil tankers: When asked why only 116 out of a total of over 300 tankers were destroyed, the Pentagon spokesman said: “the aircraft expended 24 500-pound bombs, and all of their ammunition.”

What this tells me is that only 24 bombs seems to be a rather insignificant amount of ammunition for fighting a war. I find unbelievable that the US military leadership could be ill prepared for the task at hand.

I took several vids while I was there, but don’t know how to upload them. If someone can help me with that, I’d be grateful. So, on to my report…

The Columbus Convention Center is on the north side of downtown, so I fully expected to run into rush hour traffic as well as crowds of Trumpettes. It was a piece of cake. I got there about 6:00 pm and had no trouble at all. It was easy to follow the crowds to the right hall and the lines to get in moved pretty quickly. They had 3 or 4 entrances set up with TSA personnel as well as CFD (Columbus Fire Department) CPD, bomb squad (with dogs), and various other security units that I’m not sure who they were. You had to empty your pockets, open any bags and purses and get wanded. That was the slow down point.

Once inside, you were flagged to keep moving in the direction of the opposite wall. My biggest impression of the crowd was that we were all on the same page. It was amazing to be standing shoulder to shoulder with people who think just like you do. That alone is worth the experience! From the small talk we were all making as we stood there waiting, everyone was engaged and really happy to have a candidate they agreed with 100%. Throughout the speech, I saw a lot of people nodding their heads at the things he was saying. There were also a lot of amens, woo-hooos and involuntary clapping and shouting. It felt like you had come home.

As to the speech itself, here’s what got the biggest applause: terrorism, illegal immigrants, coming in legally, Obamacare, vets, two protestors who were hauled out (that was the biggest applause of the evening), police doing phenomenal jobs, guns in Paris, build a wall, he’ll get it done even going through Congress, powerful military, beating Hillary by a lot in polls and, of course, making the country greater that before. The biggest boos were: Hillary, releasing prisoners and Bergdahl.

As to protestors, there were 4 taken out. The first two caused the biggest disruption, but it was done in an orderly fashion and people were energized to see them go. I think they were BLMers, but I’m too short, so I couldn’t see them over the crowd. They shouted the whole way out the door and people booed them the whole way. It was kinda fun! There were two others that protested separately and, if you weren’t in that part of the room, chances are you didn’t even know it was going on. They happened to take everyone out about 20 yards from where I was standing, so that’s why I knew about it.

I’m no good at estimating crowd numbers. Even though the room was not completely filled to capacity, I’d say there were at least 10,000 people who continued to stream in even after he started (about 20 minutes late).

To me, one of the things that sets him aside is he makes an effort to personally draw the crowd to him in a unique and personal way to each state and/or location he goes to. For us, it was (and make sure you shout it ;-)) Trump: OH Crowd: IO. It was absolutely fantastic!

I also went to a Columbus Bush rally, though I can’t remember if it was his first or second run. Anyway, two completely different rallies. Bush’s was in a much smaller venue (Schottenstein Arena) and it was a much more sedate affair. Arnold Schwarzenegger was there to introduce him. Trump’s rally was in a much larger facility and people were fired up and ready to move him into the White House today!

I am so very grateful to have hope again. This man is real and down to earth. You can just tell how much he feeds off of the crowds and enjoys every minute of it. He WILL make America great again. Let’s make sure we get him across the finish line.

Thanks, everyone, for reading this. I hope it gives you a taste of what it was like to be there.

Metro Columbus is truly at the crossroads of America, not reliable for either party, fickle, slightly white collar and kind of a “good government” type of place. If Trump can attract that kind of crowd in Columbus with that kind of excitement, the election is over. You just saw the coronation of President Trump.

Did anyone see the girl behind Trump give a hand signal? I noticed it twice, at 32.34 min, and at the end. I don’t know what that signal means, but that girl was like a zombie compared to the rest of the crowd behind him

Watched the video for my daily dose of Trump. I am not kidding when I say the hope and positive energy that radiates from this President is better than any medication known to man, at least for this America loving gal.

My blood pressure has been extremely high for the past several days, got the old meter out 1/2 way through the speech and it had literally dropped 40 points. Dropped another 20 points before the speech was over!! I know how to supplement the med now 🙂

GO Trump!! I can’t wait for this election. Praying for God’s grace and protection to surround this man

That’s the power of positive thinking at work. Too bad doctors all think we are just electric meat and few try to take this into account for treating diseases like high BP.

And the Trump Haters are out in force again tonight. Just battled a few of them on another website, for fun. They’re into the “Trump is a ‘Trojan Horse’!” meme tonight. And pushing Cruz.

Funny exchange I read: one poster denigrates Trump, stating (inaccurately, go figure) that Trump has “topped out” at 25% and therefore 75% of the republican voters won’t vote for him.

Another poster replied, “Well, then, using your ‘logic’, about 90% of the voters won’t elect Cruz. He was the first person in the race, and is still at 10% or so.” Bada-bing!
