CNBC GOP Debate Moderator Exposed as Uniparty Hack Running Shield for Hillary Clinton…

With this debate being hyped as ‘in Trump’s wheelhouse’, don’t be surprised if this is not the most dangerous debate yet for the guy every media outlet is determined to bring down.

(Via NewsBusters) The RNC may regret its approval of John Harwood as lead moderator for Wednesday night’s GOP presidential debate on CNBC if past history is any guide.

John Harwood cnbcThe CNBC anchor and New York Times columnist admitted he and a producer helped make Rick Perry’s infamous “oops” moment even worse. In a November 13, 2011 New York Times column Harwood bragged:

“As he [Perry] scoured his memory, awkwardness drifted into levity. Mr. Perry smiled; I chuckled along with the audience. When Mr. Romney helpfully offered, ‘E.P.A.?’ Mr. Perry repeated it with a joshing wave of his hand. Since our tasks as moderators included keeping the conversation moving, Maria began asking a new question.

But our senior producer, who communicated with us throughout the debate through our earpieces, recognized the moment faster than we did. ‘DON’T STOP!’ the producer, Sandy Cannold, called out. So I asked whether the Environmental Protection Agency was in fact the third department on Mr. Perry’s list. He acknowledged that it wasn’t. When I offered him another chance, Mr. Perry glanced at notes but couldn’t find the answer (the Department of Energy).”

Harwood’s past takes on Republicans versus Democrats also reveal the potential for biased questioning at Wednesday night’s debate.

A Harwood interview with Kentucky Senator Rand Paul was so one-sided it actually caused the Paul to press back: “Don’t you have something better to read than crap from people who don’t like me?” Harwood predicted Florida Senator Marco Rubio would look like a “schoolboy” compared to Hillary Clinton in a debate.  (read more)

It would be great if Trump embarrassed him as Newt Gingrich did CNN MODERATOR.
In his squwak box interview, Harwood was the jerk who initiated “what if your polls drop..will you drop out?”
Trump responded with the line heard around the world:
“Well, I’m not a masochist, John.”

    TRUMP OWES HIM…

Basically, all Trump has to do in this “debate” is hold his own. He’s the frontrunner so all he had to do is hunker down and let the others beat against shield. I look for Trump to change his demeanor in this forum. He’ll do this without being softer, but we’ll probably see less bombast and more reasoned responses. Unless, of course, Harwood pisses him off . . .

Harwood was divorced over his affair with Washington State Democrat Senator Maria Cantwell…who had affairs with MANY people, married and otherwise. So John has no claim to any morality or place of honor….he better watch out how he acts tonight…he gloats over destroying Rick Perry as moderator in 2012 debate…..

Trump or any other candidate for that matter, should just preface his/her answer to Harwood’s first partisan, gotcha question with something like, “Just so the American people know where that BS is coming from, you’re John Harwood, who’s employed by the NY Slimes and cheated on your wife with Demonrat Senator Cantwell, so you can’t well be unbiased.” Add or substitute any other good dirt Trump or any other campaign can find on this and all the other shill “moderators”. Then just answer the question straight from the point of view of doing what’s right for the USA, not the globalist cabal.

I mean an actual count your money, hire a new agent for your new gig type prize for these creatures? These people need to be embarrassed and get their knuckles rapped for their blatant corruption .. beyond just their precious ratings I mean, tho I don’t even turn on TV anymore except to watch a couple programs I like and sports. Fox News is dead to me and I never thought I could cut that cord!

    Well well well…

So we get the New York Times propaganda push poll with a Carson lead 1 day before debate.

And the moderator is also a New York Times columnist.

    Unbelievable.

And of course the GOPe will be perfectly happy with him as moderator!

Trump better be ready for this. They are capable of anything. Facts, figures, gotcha moments.

    These people are truly pathetic.

According to the DC Whispers story, Rubio thinks Trump supporters will go to him eventually, possibly via Ben Carson. Why he thinks that, beats me. Seems like he misinterprets why people pick candidates. But as the article notes, there is a difference between “soft” and “firm” support for candidates, where Trump gets the advantage over Carson. And, I dare say, Rubio. And the insert box of the huge number of undecideds is also interesting–are there really that many still? testing the flavor of the month? Anything over 4% undecided when other support is “firm” would make prediction futile, since many an election is won with that margin.

    • Yes, but all these clips just show how small a man Harwood really is and how Trump turned the tables on Harwood, not the other way around.

Harwood has gotten weaker since October 1 when the interview took place. Now a month later, Trump is higher in the polls and no longer seen as a joke candidate. He’s a small man and prone to fear, pettiness, and envy, all things that according to THE ART OF WAR guarantee defeat, and in Harwood’s case may even harm his own journalistic legacy in the end. What tastes sweet now will turn to bitter worms. Just ask Meg Murdock. She looks bad now, but can you imagine what she will look like after Trump becomes president and we watch reruns of her shameful silly and unprofessional behavior at that first debate?

I don’t believe Trump will allow any “gotcha type” situations anymore at these debates. He will take control like the Chairman he is. The moderators, candidates really don’t understand who they are dealing with, Trump is at another level and they have no chance.

    • it doesn’t matter either way. gotcha questions, traps and petty attacks during these debates just show the weakness and bias of the one asking them and may give a bump to their declared “winner” for a week or two but not much else. Think of the debates as PEP RALLIES for the opposition. Or as I see it, giving the dog a bone. If Trump takes a step backwards, momentarily letting them poke and prod, no big deal, he will take two forward afterwards. That is how it has been working so far. Think: CARLY FIORINA, prized debate winner turned drowning Trump Sand victim later.

  21. John Harwood is no match for Donald Trump, but more important is this movement is bigger than any debate, bigger than the media, and bigger even than Trump himself. God is answering prayers for our nation! And if He is then we can rest assured that any trap the wicked set they will surely fall in themselves. I like one Treeper’s term “Trump Sand.” Remember, even the last 2 debates, Trump did great, it was the media spin afterwards, and let’s look where that got them! And where did Fiorinia the so-called winner go? She got her bump, then we saw her curtain fall down upon her 10 days later on Sept 27, and has been sinking in Trump Sand ever since.

-Let wicked people fall into their own nets, while I escape unharmed. [Psalm 141:10]

-The nations have fallen into the pit they dug for others. Their own feet have been caught in the trap they set. [Psalm 9:15]

-A wicked man’s iniquities entrap him; he is entangled in the ropes of his own sin. [Proverbs 5:22]

-The godliness of good people rescues them; the ambition of treacherous people traps them. [Proverbs 11:6]

If a bird sees a trap being set, it knows to stay away. [Proverbs 1:17]

  23. I guess many of us won’t be able to watch the debate live online. But will be great to come and read fellow Treepers’ comments! But if anyone knows of any free online live debate chats going on please provide the link if you have! I will do the same. Many times these chats open up at the last minute or darn near an hour or two before the debate starts.

“Unlike CNN’s Democratic debate, this one won’t be available to stream online for free. According to a CNBC representative, streaming will be ‘available to all CNBC digital customers who authenticate via TV Everywhere on CNBC.com, mobile apps, and Apple TV, as well as to CNBC PRO subscribers.’ The debate will also air on SiriusXM satellite radio channel 112 and Westwood One.

“That means that those of us who don’t have a subscription to CNBC will have to get creative if we want to watch Donald Trump insult Rand Paul for being ugly. Thankfully, there are workarounds. Here’s how to tune into the GOP debate if you don’t have cable.”

A while back, before the infamous government budget shutdown that saw the WWII Memorial along with other monuments closed in a fit of governmental pique, Mr Harwood’s then espoused wife served Mr Harwood with divorce papers and also served Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) with papers alleging that Ms Murray’s ( The Senator in Sneakers) seduction of Ms Harwoods then husband deprived Ms Harwood of her husband’s companionship, affection, her station in life, her financial support, and thus her lifestyle.
Since Senator Murray (D-WA) was later on the committee negotiating the budget settlement with the Republicans, CNBC’s viewer’s had a ringside seat to the daily negotiations since Senator Murray must have obviously shared intimate details of the day’s negotiations during that evenings pillow talk session.
That’s the vantage point John Harwood views the Republican debate from.

It was Cantwell, not Murray. They’re both female senators from WA, so the confusion is somewhat understandable, but not when you put a face with the name, so to speak. Since this is a serious allegation and potentially libelous, may I request from management a clean up on this aisle?
