CBS Panel Blasts Obama’s “Extraordinary Disconnect” – “Question if White House Knows What’s Going On” …

This video is posted by The Washington Free Beacon as an example of punditry discussing the White House ineptitude. However, this video is actually more reflective of something far more annoying.

Every one of these “pundits” have spent the last six years extoling the virtues of President Obama’s brilliant foreign policy. Every single one of these panelists have written columns, given opinion, and appeared on TV shows telling the consuming sheeple how brilliant President Obama was.

Now they sit around presenting themselves as some form of disconnected gallery observers talking about how the consequences of those same policies they exalted are abject failures.

Insufferable does not begin to explain the level of hypocrisy within the U.S. Obama Pretorian guard media. These are the same people who claimed the Libyan R2P program was magnanimous, yet the result is anarchy, civil war and chaos.

♦  These are the same people who claimed the Syrian “red line” was some kind of brilliant three dimensional chess move resulting in Russia leveraging Assad to remove WMD; yet the reality is anarchy, civil war, chaos and the rise of ISIS.

♦  These are the same people who claimed the Drone counter terror program was an effective counter terrorism strategy; when the reality is Yemen being more of a safe haven for al-Qaeda Arabian Peninsular than ever before.

♦  These are the same people who claimed Turkey was a key and strategic NATO ally for Obama; yet the reality is Turkey providing safe harbor for Muslim Brotherhood extremists, a President in Erdogan supporting ISIS, and a nation refusing to allow NATO allies to use strategic military bases to attack radical islamists.

♦  These are the same people who claimed Obama was successful in using Qatar as a strategic partner, when the reality is Qatar financing attacks against our own forces in Iraq, Afghanistan and against Fattah al-Sisi in Egypt.

♦  These are the same people who protected President Obama from the sunlight upon his short-sighted and failed policies for the past six years, and now they stand back as some kind of jaw-agape community shocked, shocked, at the crisis and chaos that has resulted as part of those very policies they exalted for the past six years.

Yes, Russia has taken Crimea, China has taken influence over south Asia, Iran is literally on the cusp of a Nuclear Weapon and ICBM to attach it to. Yes, Libya is in a state of Islamist civil war, Jordan is tenuous at best, Yemen is lost, Saudi Arabia barely hanging by a thread, Iraq is back in a state of crisis, Syria is a complete Islamist mess and Afghanistan is requesting we stick around to avoid a resurgence of the Taliban.

Yes, Egypt is surrounded by terror networks and al-Sisi, not their promoted guy Morsi, is the only reason Hamas was forced to back down from an all out war with Israel. Meanwhile Canada sits patiently waiting for a President who will make a decision on the Keystone Pipeline.

These are the same insufferable pundits who claimed Obama to be magnanimous as they framed the southern border flow as a “humanitarian crisis”, while intentionally overlooking the spread of Enterovirus and now measles that create a domestic health crisis, and come as a direct consequence of those same humanitarian policies.

And these Obama Pundits sit there -looking around at the chaos- and have the nerve to talk about it “as if” they had nothing to do with it.

Yet, people wonder why the U.S. media are ridiculed by anyone who has even a remote clue as to what’s really going on.

It’s not Obama’s disconnect they are “blasting”, it’s actually their own.

  2. RJ says:

One can point fingers of responsibility at our national media; however, it was the American voter who elected this evil team twice, that is a fact that just won’t go away! Put the magnifying glass on this group, but before you do look around this planet to those other countries roiling in political turmoil. Do you see any patterns?

Note how Greece just moved to the far left with neo-marxist energies winning. This appears to be a counter offensive against “the man” who makes his living through the banking systems, the movement and protection of monies (keep in mind George Soros’s method of creating his wealth and what he does with it!). Note the rapid acceleration of anti-Semite energies in Europe while recalling Shakespeare’s play “The Merchant of Venice” written centuries ago.

Recall the subject matter and thoughts B. Hussein Obama has proffered to the American people these past 7 years. Do you sense any parallels? Keep in mind that Europeans too have great access to the internet and cell phones…print media has taken a back seat while Twitter becomes an instant platform to transmit information, whether true or not. Want to sell that old lawn mower? Who goes to the local paper when Craigslist is “free” right at home. There is nothing that is free!

“Free us from this crippling debt” is the shout heard in Greece. Now think of bond slaves, those in deep debt. Is this not a fact with the Greeks?

Come back to the American shores. Look at what the “progressive democrats, lead by B. Hussein O. have done to the American debt reality. Sense the anger? 17 Trillion and rising!

Could it be that the world is in revolution? Could it be that technology is far out ahead of governments and how they service their constituents? Could it be that governments are floundering to find some form of structure that will seamlessly meld with the new technologies?
Enter the arguments over that form of government.

Americans learned that the “backwards” middle eastern males who want to wage war on “The Great Satan” used old bombs refitted and planted in roads and walkways to be exploded by remote systems such as cell phones while they communicated and recruited via the internet.

Sharia law is what these millions of lost males think will offer them structure within which they can live a life fulfilled. Listen to our new “elder statesman” Newt’s speech this past week in Iowa for a sharply focused clue at what needs to be done in America.

What kind of “education” is right in this new age? We and other countries threw away that old standard of “reading, writing and arithmetic” two generations ago (50 years). Old farmers know that one “reaps what he sows” is a truth you can’t hide from nature.

    It’s time to pay up!

Some don’t want to, some can’t and some don’t think they should.

Enter the final stage of the game “hot potato” where fights are sure to break out!

    • anonbob says:

Correction – The American voter did NOT elect 0bama twice. The large cities did. Check the red/blue state map after 2012. Vast swaths of flyover country rejected the 0bama agenda, the parasitical inner cities fired up the vote fraud machine to ensure he got enough votes.

Any vote tally that includes inner cities is fraudulent. 100% turnout in a district with 100% of the votes going to 0bama?

      Right, that’s legit.

      • Lorra B. says:

You are absolutely correct. Sadly, there is really no way of know who truly is the intended elect. Did it start with ‘The Hanging Chad’? Probably not. It most certainly has been going on for decades but only brought to enormous light by the media’s attention to what a great scoop it would be. So, on one hand I love that it was brought to light but, on the other, sickened because there seems no way to stop this deceitful train wreck. No matter who gets elected there will be a certain amount of doubt as to their deservedness to be in office (regardless of your party affiliation 🙂 ).

When, exactly, did it appear that the media took a turn to start covering up what the WH is up too? More importantly, why are the American people seemingly rolling over and OK with it and not storming The Gates Of Hell to guarantee our rights are REALLY defended to be able to HEAR the truth and SPEAK the truth?

        IDK…maybe I’m just cranky today… 🙂 🙂

    • georgia says:

I believe you are correct, but Obama was elected by a machine that got out votes for demographics that traditionally never vote without given incentives, coupled with a voter demographic of conservative middle class educated informed white citizens that had been disgusted by the GOP primary battles that destroyed EVERYONE that was running, and by Romney’s pathetic last minute failure to FIGHT against Obama and the DNC machine. The low income voter block were brought to vote just like the media sells ShamWow on TV to people that cannot figure out that a microfiber cloth is merely something for sale really cheaper at Dollar General stores. The media advertising and pundit lies via playbook rhetoric is what won, coupled with GOP folks staying home in disgust. IMO

    • Daniel says:

I am not convinced the U.S. citizen voters elected this man at all. The massive attention to and exposure of voter fraud played no small role in the midterm election upset. Democrats and media both ridiculously confident of the election results and cried out in disbelief as it all happened. The exposure of massive voter fraud was kept out of the media but people were still watching.

There are too many problems with this presidency. Far too many.

    • Ah, yes, but The People vote in ignorance because of the lies and utopia proffered; when reality rolls in, it’s too late. Once socialism reaches a certain benchmark it becomes self-sustaining because the people have nowhere but the government to turn to, pleading to those who stripped them of everything to give them enough as to throw them a lifeline.

He who controls the food (and water and energy and the narrative and whatever kind of law is left) controls the populace. What has gone on before will matter little – like liberty. Sad.

It is the Citizen that needs to take the Red Pill. Assuredly the MSM will only then get a clue. I think that may be what’s happening here. Obama is now being compared to Chris Kyle and found wanting.

  3. It COULD be a result of what critics have called his “leading from behind” policy? COULD be? They still don’t want to admit it.

Obama wants to “turn the page” and say “the shadow of crisis has passed” to which Dana says, “you can’t just make it so by saying it.” But wait, Dana, that’s exactly what the MSM talking heads have allowed this administration to do over and over and over.

“Ah, well, they said it isn’t so, so it’s not so.” Name a crisis that hasn’t happened with. Fast and Furious, the UAC debacle, the IRS scandal, radical Islam, and the biggest one of all – Benghazi.

Nope, it isn’t so. That’s our story and we’re sticking to it.

If the government can do it to them, they can do it to us.

It’s as much about protecting an ideology than the Emperor, or even moreso. That’s why Cuba is now our friend. Globalists are still envisioning a North American Union and well on their way to getting it. Because the European one works so well.

It’s time for Breitbart/O’Keefe types to pester these people and ask why they are so poor at doing their jobs and to give them pop quizzes on their actual knowledge of persons and events. In addition, it’s time to document – surreptitiously if necessary – the cozy buy-me-lunch transactions posing as ‘leaks’ that occur every day.

The folks on this panel are arrogant and ignorant ideologues, they repeated the Obama lies oft enough that instead of only fooling the great unwashed they fooled themselves in the process of promoting their self sanctioned agenda.

There is no fool quite so dangerous as the fool who believes that their lies are justified because they know better. And there is of course the willful ignorance that is part and parcel with the talking heads.

If only they knew how intimately they embody the way of Adolf Hitler.

I think the civil unrest, the rabidness of the FTP movement, police being shot dead point blank, the parade of innocents being beheaded, the undeniable, perpetual and accelerating, violent downward spiral trajectory of the world, and the realization that street thugs stating “We want to make this Country ungovernable” may have finally awoken whatever self preservation remains in a few of these morons.

Maybe just finally maybe a few of them realize there is little else for the crocodile to eat.

  11. Truly Treepers, I cannot remember a time in my 58 years of life when the news media wasn’t in the tank for Democrats. The ideal of a free press doesn’t guarantee truthful, impartial, fact-based reportage.

There are no professional standards by which those in the media are measured, no one to hold them to account.

As societal virtues degenerate, unrighteousness ascends. The media’s decline is a reflection of our culture. We’ve all lost our way.

  13. Sentient says:

I agree with most of what’s been said above, but we have to acknowledge the involvement of the McCains in the US who goaded Obama into attacking Gaddafi. I don’t know how much goading he needed, but the neocons only complaint about Obama’s undeclared and probably illegal war against Gaddafi was that by “leading from behind” he wasn’t doing enough. Fast forward to Obama being boxed in by his “red line” in Syria. He essentially told Syrian rebels that if they could pin a gas attack on Assad that they could draw America into the fight, fighting alongside Al Qaeda affiliates against Assad. Voila, a gas attack materializes. And along comes McCain and the neocon contingent prodding Obama into bombing Assad. We might have fallen for it, too, if the American people hadn’t risen up and screamed “not no – HELL NO!” Of course all along, via Operation Zero Footprint we’d been arming McCain’s “moderate Syrian rebels” who turned out to be ISIS. If we had bombed Syria as the neocons had wanted, ISIS would now control all of Syria and would have committed even more genocide against the Alawis, Druze, Christians and Shia of Syria. Even now we’re training rebels to fight against Assad. The plan is purportedly for us to cooperate with Assad in fighting ISIS and as soon as they’re disposed of to turn on Assad and oust him after all? It’s insane. All because the neocons can’t discern any difference between bad Muslims and less bad Muslims.

  14. cohibadad says:

Keep your eyes on Saudi Arabia. The succession of brothers, the sons of the founder of modern day Saudi Arabia ibn Saud, is about to end. This succession of brothers has allowed the peaceful transfer of power, but Salman is the last of them. And then what? Who creates the next lineage of kings? And Salman is 79, if he doesn’t rule for years, but instead only months, then would his crown prince, his son, be accepted as the first of the next reign of brothers? Rather than the sons of Abdullah’s thirty some wives? This is all building up to a power struggle and it was ibn Saud who made the deal with Wahhab, the founder of Wahhabism that rules the ideology of Saudi Sunni Islam and is the ideology of ISIS. Wouldn’t a power vacuum be the ideal time for ISIS to seize the two holy sites and Saudi Arabia, supported by their likeminded religious scholars there and around the world, and reestablish the Caliphate? What better to legitimize their claim to supremacy than ruling Mecca and Medina? Very interesting times indeed.

Look at all these hand-wringers, pretending to be incredulous that they have to report that things are falling apart quickly. Who do they hope will clean up the mess?

The president has sent 400 special forces advisors in to train the rebels. Great. This is insanity. We know people who;ve gotten out after 17 years with just 3 to go. They’ve hit the wall, said things are being so horribly mismanaged, that more people are going to be killed unnecessarily.

“The Pentagon says it is mobilizing 400 U.S. military trainers and an almost equal number of “enablers” to train Syrian opposition forces to fight the jihadist army ISIS.

“But U.S. officials can’t guarantee the forces won’t use that training to attack the Syrian military, even though the Obama administration contends its goal isn’t to topple the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

“In response to questions from WND at a press conference, Pentagon Press Secretary Rear Adm. John Kirby acknowledged he could not ensure that the trained Syrian opposition fighters will be used only to attack ISIS.

“He reiterated a prior background Pentagon briefing in which he said the goal is to “build the capabilities of the moderate Syrian fighters to defend the Syrian people, stabilize areas under opposition control, promote the conditions for a negotiated settlement of the conflict in Syria, and empower trainees to go” on the offensive against ISIS.”

It’s not that I’m not interested in understanding what this is all about and the effect it has on American life. This is so much to digest, the foreign stuff needs to be broken down. Sundance I know it’s a lot to ask but most can’t comment intelligently at this point. I’ve noticed none of your foreign policy, happenings, get much response. We need more guidance, issues broken down in simple terms, consequences and meanings.

Some of this is so scary it reminds me of the Left Behind movies, “Left Behind the movie, Left Behind II: Tribulation Force, Left Behind: World at War”. All three movies are available now on Netflix by the way.

If my lack of understanding offends anyone I’m sorry. I’ll try harder to understand, investigate, study the consequences of what is going on and the effect it could have on American lives. In the end we have only ourselves to blame for lack of knowledge.

Ty, the only thing scary about the “Left Behind” books and movies is that so many have been deceived into believing that Christians won’t be here when the Son of Perdition comes to power and that people who miss the separation will have another chance. Not according to Jesus, where He said in Matt 24:15 that we will see the Abomination of Desolation and in Luke 17:26-37 that once the separation occurs, nobody will be saved . Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins have misled a great many with their faulty theology. Accept and obey God now because there will be no second chances!

    Here’s some obama”care” for y’all:
By all accounts, Harold was a bright child. He grew up in America. He went to school and had a bright future ahead of him. Harold’s full life was cut short in a violent moment. While few people had ever heard of Harold before his death, many did afterwards. And in death, something shocking happened. What was so shocking, especially when it is compared to the death of someone else recently in the news? Harold is Harold Greene, Major General United States Army. On August 5th, General Greene was killed by a Taliban terrorist. He was returned to America with full military honors.

It has been a tradition that the President attends the funeral of flag officers killed in the line of duty. Richard Nixon attended the funeral of a Major General killed in Vietnam and George W. Bush attended the funeral of Lieutenant General Timothy Maude, who was killed in the 9/11 attacks.

While Major General Greene was buried, Barack Obama was golfing. The Vice President wasn’t there either. Neither was the Secretary of Defense. Flags were not even lowered to half staff.

Four days after Harold Greene gave his life for America, Michael Brown was killed in Ferguson, Missouri. It is safe to say, Brown was at best a thug. The media has repeatedly shown photos of Brown flashing gang signs. Some media outlets have even associated him with a specific gang. In the minutes before his death, Brown committed a robbery at a local convenience store. According to other reports, Brown struck officer Darren Wilson and shattered his orbital bone.

Obama sent a three-person delegation to Michael Brown’s funeral. Obama would not attend the funeral of the highest ranking military officer killed in the line of duty since 9/11, yet he will send a delegation to the funeral of a thug.

When Margaret Thatcher, one of America’s staunchest allies and Ronald Reagan’s partner in bringing down Soviet communism died, Obama sent only a small, low-level delegation to her funeral. The snub was not missed by the British.

When Chris Kyle, the most lethal American sniper in history was murdered, there was no expression of sympathy from the White House. There was no White House delegation at his funeral.

American heroes die and Obama goes to the golf course. A thug dies and he gets a White House delegation. No wonder real Americans hold Obama in contempt.

But, of course, he and Holder will tell you it’s only because he’s black.
