• Samuel Richard “Sandy” Berger was United States National Security Advisor, under President Bill Clinton from 1997 to 2001.
• Zbigniew Kazimierz Brzezinski held the position of United States National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter from 1977 to 1981.
• Tom “Benghazi” Donilon former government official who served as National Security Advisor in the Obama administration during Benghazi.
• Michèle Angelique Flournoy is the former Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, and in that role served as principal advisor to U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta.
• Richard Nathan Haass is president of the Council on Foreign Relations since July 2003, prior to which he was Director of Policy Planning for the United States State Department.
• Stephen John Hadley was U.S. Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs, serving under President George W. Bush.
• Jane Margaret Lakes Harman (MSNBC contributor) is former U.S. Representative for California’s 36th congressional district. She resigned from Congress in February 2011 to become the President and CEO of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
• Michael Joseph Morell was the deputy director of the Central Intelligence Agency and served as acting director twice in 2011 during operation Zero Footprint, and from 2012 to 2013 after Petraeus was removed. Morell works for Hillary Clinton and CBS.
• Nelson Strobridge “Strobe” Talbott III is an American foreign policy analyst associated with Yale University and the Brookings Institution, a former journalist associated with Time magazine and diplomat who served as the Deputy Secretary of State from 1994 to 2001.
