OMara-Zimmerman-first court appearanceWhen you read the comments sections of the on-line articles you can get a sense of the general direction a current event or an issue is going as it is perceived by the public. That’s why it’s sometimes a good practice to look at both liberally leaning, and conservative leaning outlets to gauge opinion.

Having said that, this is the FIRST TIME I have ever seen all ideological sides with a universal similarity in commentator opinion regarding the case against George Zimmerman.

Wow, what a staggering and fast turn of events.  Almost all of the article readers appear to see the light of truth in the George Zimmerman case now.   Is the tide turning that fast?

That should make all of you feel really good. I seriously mean that – Because YOU have planted truth seeds for over a year, cared for them, tended the fertilizer of truth with research, defended the first sprouts from danger, and also nurtured the crop to high visibility and independent strength.

george-zimmerman-2nd-bond-hearing-1-0629(Miami Herald via AP) – ORLANDO, Fla. — A court employee who retrieved photos and deleted text messages from Trayvon Martin’s cellphone has been placed on administrative leave after an attorney testified that prosecutors didn’t properly turn over the evidence to the defense, an attorney said Wednesday.

Former prosecutor Wesley White said he was ethically obligated to reveal that Fourth Judicial Circuit Information Technology Director Ben Kruidbos retrieved the data that weren’t turned over.

Kruidbos was placed on leave shortly after White testified during a hearing in George Zimmerman’s second-degree murder case on Tuesday. White said Kruidbos was interviewed by state attorney investigators twice before the action was taken.

White said he wasn’t surprised of possible evidence violations by Zimmerman prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda. (read more)

george zimmerman bond hearing 2(World Net Daily – Jack Cashill) Judge Debra Nelson handed down a series of rulings Tuesday morning that will make it considerably easier for the state to convict George Zimmerman of second-degree murder in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fla., in February 2012.

Among other rulings, Nelson ruled Martin’s texts in the months leading up to his death inadmissible. These were damning. The text messages and photos from Martin’s cell phone showed a troubled young man whose life was increasingly consumed with drugs, guns and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) style fighting.

In late November 2011, he would tell a friend that an opponent in an MMA-style fight “got mo hits cause in da 1st round he had me on da ground nd I couldn’t do ntn.”

As his girlfriend complained, Martin was “always” fighting. He was also something of a sadist. He complained that he did not make his opponent in the MMA fight “breed nuff,” translated, “bleed enough.”

This was particularly relevant because Witness No. 6, the best of the eyewitnesses to the shooting, told the Sanford PD that he saw a “black man in a black hoodie on top of either a white guy … or an Hispanic guy in a red sweater on the ground yelling out help,” and that black man on top was “throwing down blows on the guy MMA [mixed martial arts] style.” (read more)
