That’s how Attorney General Eric Holder justified the Associated Press Scandal over the phone records from 100+ reporters, spanning over 20 AP phone outlets including the AP Congressional office phone line.

Given the severity of what Eric Holder is claiming here does it hold any intellectually honest plausibility that he would NOT have advised anyone in the Administration?

He recused himself, or so he says, from the investigation into “the most dangerous leak in his career spanning back to 1976”.   Yet he never told anyone about his recusal;  There’s no documentation about his recusal;  He never told the President about his recusal, despite the most dangerous risk to “national security” etc.

Apparently the recusal exists only in the mind of Eric Holder himself.

However, there’s an even bigger issue.

Again, if you watched the video at the :35 second mark Holder says:

…..The Deputy Attorney General ultimately would have been the one to authorize the subpoena of the AP….

Yet a few days later he goes before congress and says, he’s just “not sure”:
