Suspect #1 26-year-old Tamerlan Tzarnaev – Killed in Firefight – Audio/Video of Shootout Overnight

BOSTON – The first suspect in the Boston marathon bombing, who has been killed earlier Friday, has been identified as 26-year-old Tamerlan Tzarnaev, brother of Dzhokhar Tzarnaev, who still remains at large, according to NBC’s Pete Williams.  (link)

CNN reports the family fled Chechnya for Kazakhstan several years ago before ending up in Boston.   The older (deceased) brother was a college student at Bunker Community College, had aspired to become an engineer. He once posted on a social media account, “I don’t have any American friends, I don’t understand them.”

CNN states on air, “They are Islamic.”

When there is a shooting within hours you here politicians screaming for the guns taking away Americans rights protected by the constitution.
Yet when Islams who are here on visas or here illegally are killing Americans or attempting to kill Americans you never hear of revoking visas for Islams or deporting illegal Islams.
In addition you never hear of cracking down on universities who are promoting Islam and that happens all across this country.
I guess it wouldn’t be common sense to look at our visa program or enforce the law when it comes to illegals?

I know…that’s exactly my point. I don’t see them saying much, if they are there. Therefore, I have to conclude that perhaps there are none. We know that many want “gun control” because they loudly say so. We know that many want “ijmmigration reform” because they loudly say so.

We do not know that anyone in Congress is concerned about proecting and securing the sovereignty (TODAY) of our nation because NO ONE IS SAYING SO.

What bothers them is if they begin to lose control of those who are easily deceived, who constitute their base. There’s probably not much danger of that group choosing to become un-deceived today. They won’t even a break a sweat on this. Especially since they have the cooperation and silence of “conservative,” “Republicans” in the Senate and House.

Obama’s taquiya is seeing results now in the second term. The second term is what we all feared the most. Destruction of jobs, financial strength and self dependence on energy is the stealth terrorism being conducted by this charlatan. It is working thanks to Americans who voted and defrauded the country to elect Obama.

The final frontier for Obama is to disarm Americans. It’s no surprise the terrorist attacks take place in gun free zones. Hold onto your guns. Bombard your senators. .
Oh and for those who think Muslims are the victims, I am calling nonsense right now….ingrained in the Islamic psyche is the supposed need to be good hosts (when you are the host) and a good visitor (when you are a visitor).
    .
It is a Sunnah of the Prophet (doing what he did) to follow the customs of the host country/culture that you are visiting as long as it doesnt conflict with your own.
    .
What that means to me (if you live in a non-Muslim majority nation, this makes you a visitor of the host nation/culture): You are expected to follow the laws & customs of that land as long as it doesnt interfere with your own religious principles.
    .
If you want to cover your face and hands, go live in the East. While you live in the West you are NOT supposed to even try if it is not a requirement, but an optional choice and the host country doesnt support that. Being a good guest means trying to fit in wherever possible, not trying to be disrespectful to the host nation at every turn.
    .
The emphasis is on the guest being a good guest without the guest having to give up his religious observances (and most importantly not offending your host). You must show your face in non-Muslims lands where the use of the veil is NOT customary and the veil over the face is NOT a requirement for women. Dressing modestly is a requirement, covering yourself from head to toe is an option (pretending options are requirements is a hallmark of extremism-imo).
    .
After reading about one of the sunni misfits who blew up a bomb at a sporting event in the country that hosted this refugee, I am disgusted. This is NOT how you treat a host.
    .
If Muslims dont know how to act when they are guests then maybe they should all be sent home (not right away, just stop granting visas-if they are here legally, let em stay, but if they dont like it here, give em a free ticket out). if they hate it so much here, they are welcome to depart (and if they dont act like appreciative guests suspend their visa and send them on their way).
    .
    http://www.wnd.com/2013/04/muslims-victims-in-marathon-bombing-aftermath/
    .
Characteristic of the Sunni misfit is an inability to empathize with the local population-their hosts (I read one of the bombers had no American friends). That to me is characteristic of a misfit. They dont fit it. They have no friends.
    .
besides being reallty crappy Muslims and total buttholes who deserve to die, these guys are scum of the Earth because they attacked their host/host country.
    .
It is the Muslim bomb scumbags who made this place less hospitable for Muslims. it is the Muslim misfits who make you less welcome here (the oens who refuse to fit in in the least and who refuse the smallest kindneses like a smile-you dont have to marry our kids and you dont have to convert to out religion, but if you have trouble putting a smile on your face for a friendly neighbor then you should be deported and the sooner the better.
    .
These Muslims bring the stigma to Muslims. Hey Muslims, if you want to get rid of the stigma, start to point out the misfits in your midst. dont harbor them, dont coddle them, dont excuse them, dont encourage them (I will consider them the enemy if they even encourage them).
    .
Yeah, I am pissed. No host deserves to be treated in this manner (no guest deserves this treatment either). The way for Muslims to get better treatment in this nation is to be better guests, be more appreciative of the fact that you are guests here (unless you are raised here-I was-and if you have been raised here and given the freedom to choose your own religion, then you should be thankful as that would merit a death sentence in most Muslim nations (to convert out of the relgion of your birth is among the greatest heresies in Muslim nations-punishable by death whereas in the USA we have freedom of religion-they dont have that, but they pretend like we in the US are the backward ones-NOT

OBL was caught with the help of Muslims (he was also protected by Muslims-the glass is neither full nor empty, it is both half full and half empty at the same time). It would seem this nation has Muslim allies and Muslim enemies. To think we have no Muslim allies is simply negative thinking (dont go there, you will sink into a pit of despair).
Even though Muslims and Christians have different names for God (Judaism as well), I believe they are one in the same diety and the values that God has are nearly identical regardless of what language you speak. I know this is heretical (and I say it anyway-knowing my life may be in danger for such relativism or for daring to question Islamic othodoxy).
The Quran has parts that are of questionable value, but it also describes Christians and Jews as fellow believers (people of the book as they are described). Muslims, in their extremism dont place enough value on the idea that we share common understanding.
I am not sure Christians or jews understand the common heritage of the worlds three largest religions (the greatest part of the blame for this has to be placed on Muslims – it is their religion, they should be the marketers of it and if they market the bad aspects, then it is their fault if they have a bad name).
The terrorists blemished the name of Islam (and the Muslims who refused to criticize the terrorists helped create the negative vibe towards Muslims).

Centrists are not safe when the radicals are in charge, but that doesnt absolve them of their responsibility to speak negatively of such an evil as terrorism.
I cant find links to it, but encouraging what is good and discouraging what is bad is among the most important tenets of Islam (if we lose our connection with God you can gurrentee failure). not knowing distinctions between what God thinks is good and what God rejects is among the reasons any people can become lost.
Many Muslims in this country fled here to get away from extremism in their own nations (think of that show Shah’s of Sunset-they arent all Muslim, but the ones who are are hardly examples of Islamic traditionalism).
Of course, what if I spoke up agaisnt the terrorists and the media refused to carry my message tolerance? I can blame the media, but i need to make myself heard.
Muslims collectively in America largely educate their kdis to be doctors, engineers, and lawyers with very few exceptions. immigrant populations are largely lower class or upper class with very little in the middle. (I see this demographic issue as problematic, but I am not sure beyond that what its significance is, but the lack of a thriving middle class is a serious issue, imo)…….how many muslims get into public speaking, politics and public relations? cuz Islam has poor pr….as well as a problem with extremists in their midsts (I wont trust them either if they cant root out the extremnists in their midsts)

It’s obvious these two were not the brainchild of the bombing. They were not students nor were they engineers. Those bombs were made beforehand and given to them to place. The bombing had not ended yet which is why Al Queda or the Black Flags did not take responsibility yet for the attack. More was to follow. What is also obvious is that the terrorists or brainchild are furious that Americans responded like true Americans and rushed to help the victims in an example of heroism. Sadly, they hate that and it makes them more angry.

Obama’s a dead duck, figuratively speaking, in the coming weeks. His power erodes. Newton shooting was probably a set up. His sponsors and he are desperate to disarm you. I wish the MSM would stop reporting the BS from the father that Dzhokhar is “a second-year medical student”. He would need to complete an undergraduate degree before being accepted into medical school. Did Dzhokhar lie to his father, or is it a case of Trayvon-ing?

My child’s school use to have a lot of muslims in it. The school catered to them and it made me sick. We actually got kicked out of the atheletic league because the other schools we play are Christian and they refused to play against us if we have Muslim’s on our team. The Muslim parents were rude, thought the world revolved around them and that they were superior to everyone else. Parents are required to volunteer a certain amount of hours, except Muslim parents. It seems like they all came and left the school together. Where do they get their money? They are all very wealthy but never seem to work. We only have a few now and they are the more Americanized Muslim’s who dont wear the head scarfs etc.

Off to one side here, another aspect of this is that as Russia continues the fight in Chechnya they can now ratchet up the pressure and if the US complains they can point back to Boston. This isn’t our first encounter with Chechen fundamentalists, there are alleged connections between them and attacks on our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I think we have an increasing crisis of disenfranchised young males in this country. Too many of them are unable to find their place in society and they are profoundly unhappy. But instead of being taught to exercise self-responsibility and work hard to make their lives better (which is what I was taught), they are taught to blame others for their problems. Coddled by the increasingly pervasive nanny state, brainwashed into believing that they are victims, fed unrealistic images 24×7 of what their lives “should” or even could be like, and in some cases preyed upon by people and organizations who wish to do harm.

Interesting. Mother lived in Cambridge with one or both of her nutcase sons. She didn’t notice that they were stockpiling weapons? The police have raided the apartment, correct?

I wonder how she supported herself and her sons. I pray she wasn’t on welfare.

And what she says and thinks and projects on America, because of where she used to live, would be completely inaudible, invisible and irrelevant if those who are charged the protection of our sovereign nation and the Constitution under which we are supposed be funding would do their jobs.

If those responsible for enforcing immigration laws, as their oaths of office require them to, actually wanted to enforce immigration laws, 99% of those who hate America and are slicing and dicing her from the inside (aborting her like Gosnell’s magic melting abortifacent) would not BE HERE. Her rant, her son’s actions, her son’s presence under the radar, her bold FLOTUS-like declaration of spite for this nation would not be TOLERATED in the America that is America.

What we have today is no longer America. It’s fearfully closer to the place she came from. She has no idea. Absolutely no idea.

Please get dis-illusioned. You are operating under an illusion if you still believe that the Bill of Rights is acknowledged, honored or referenced those presently running our nation or our cities. Please.

Nope, but I bet there is some legal means that I am not aware of. Like a city warrant or something. They always have a rule in the hole. Could this be part of the Patriot Act? I don’t think an emergency was proclaimed or anything. I was just wondering about the rules. It all seems to have just happened. All the different agencies. What or who is in charge? I wonder if a citizen can leave the city? Or enter it? Is it a quarantine?

Mother of the two suspects robbed a Lord & Taylor store in 2012. They were in dire straits. The two must have been hired by terrorists and given military guns. They thought it would be a one time job, get paid big. Let this be a lesson to all who think they can get away with a one time terrorist job in America. From the looks of it, both had potential to be more having achieved certain physical and academic honors – but they got caught. It’s a sad day for that family, and for the victims. More of this kind of killing and crime will continue because of the terrible recession the joker has inflicted on the USA. Anytime an economic plague sets in, the more the terrorists get a hold of the country. Obama and terrorists plan all along. The persons who should be ashamed are Obama and Michelle and their King Louis Marie Antoinette ways. There I said it.

David Sirota got at least half his wish. It appears the bombing of the Boston Marathon was indeed carried out by Caucasians–by which we mean not just persons of pallor but natives of Caucasia, a region that spans from northern Iran and northeastern Turkey, through Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia, and into the Russian Federation.

(this is a reply to michellec upthread, and brought down here so it wouldn’t be even longer! 😯 )

I want to believe somebody, anybody in Washington is concerned.. Completely understandable.

(ADD: I’m sure there are individuals who are concerned. Unfortunately, since there is no evidence of their existence, there is nothing to be gained in us assuming that we know they are concerned, assuming that they are doing something effective, assuming anything…..our government used to share information, promote strategies re national security, communicate with citizens, clarify murky things….that part of communication from the government has almost totally disappeared.)

Everything though leads me back to what can I do? For the moment, I’d say you’re doing it, michellec. Do not underestimate what you are doing. From things you’ve shared, if I remember correctly (even though in somewhat of a general way) there’s a list of things you are consciously doing today that you weren’t doing 4 years ago. Most of us have our own lists of that stuff.. And then, much to our shock, we discover (repeatedly) that we are in a box canyon where, even though we are breaking new ground in “what we are doing” it’s not enough to change the direction of anything in a noticeable way, in any brief period of time. Boy, I understand that feeling and there’s nothing wrong with it. It’s disorienting for the simple reason that we’re figuring out something we didn’t know before, standing on new and different ground. Nothing wrong with the feelings at all, but what we do at that place matters alot.

Caution: Exaggerating the crippling effects of our own limits can even become a deception of a sort, so there’s no point in going there either! 😉

….the more sick and hopeless I feel. Do you think that is simply because the reality of how bad things are is beginning to be undeniable? If that’s what it is, then “…sick and hopeless” is a feeling that is probably appropriate.

Feeling sick and hopeless is not fatal. It can actually be quite instructive,as it may force us to sort through what our expectations and assumptions were, and examine what they were based on. If they were based on lies or distortions, we are actually on more solid ground the instant we admit that. On that “more solid ground” we feel sick and hopeless for the first bit of time simply because the assumptions that aren’t holding water any more are no longer there. That’s disconcerting.

Sinking down to the bedrock of what is really so has preserved my sanity repeatedly over the years. Often, still, it scares me badly at first when I first face something I’ve been trying to avoid facing, because I detest feeling frightened. But I detest much more continuing in deception. But the truth of what is so will flourish better in ground where deception and false hopes have been cleared away. And we don’t start wearing horsehair and becoming ascetics…we go on.

There’s something clear-eyed that happens in our thinking when we choose to lay aside things that we have discovered not to be what they claimed to be, or what we had assumed they were.

I am painfully familiar with the shattered glass illusions in the past of my life. Dealing with what is really so is the only I can live any more. Anything less is eventually way too painful, and I won’t do it.

I would far rather be scared half of my mind by reality that be even slightly comforted by unreality.

Like I said, sift, and take what makes sense and is useful to you. Toss the rest or set on a shelf for some other time.

Sharon the sick and hopeless feeling comes from the feeling of fooling myself that voting for the lesser of two evils was the best we could do and that best is pretty bad.
But today is a new day and I got a good night sleep and did what I always do when the weight of the world is too much and asked God to take it.
So I’m ready to fight another day. I’m sure there will be another day that I take it back from God and will go through this all over again when I let another reality sink in.
