UPDATE – Rut Roh – Matt Gutman trying a walkback coverup? Twitter accounts @mattgutmanABC active.

Update:  To clarify – Matt Gutman has two twitter accounts.  @MattGutman and also  @mattgutmanABC which was used by him on Tuesday 6/26/12 (see below).    However, Matt Gutman is now denying his intention to reply about Sanford Detective Chris Serino.   But it does not add up because he used a specific reply to the twitter question.   He is trying to cover his tracks….

There is no intellectually honest way to spin the fact that ABC’s Matt Gutman was admitting Lead Sanford Detective Chris Serino was the source of the leaks from inside the Sanford Police Department to him, ABC, and possibly other media.  Period.

Matt had not tweeted anything since June 11th until this morning when he sent his first tweet from the airport in Tel Aviv at 11:47am.  Here is the entire twitter feed from Matt for 6/26/12

(You can click to enlarge and also downloadable expanded file here courtesy of Froggielegs screengrab)

After admitting that Detective Chris Serino was the Sanford Police Department leaker, apparently ABC’s Matt Gutman is having second thoughts.

Matt Gutman Twitter Feed Here:  https://twitter.com/?iid=am-111949529413407604987373950&nid=27+240&uid=594886554#!/mattgutmanABC

However, within his explanation he negates his excuse excuse because there is no prior tweet his possible response could be replying to.  In addition, he intentionally hit “reply” to the question about Serino – This is NO MISTAKE !    He’s digging a hole.  DEEP

He has shut down his twitter history.  Perhaps Matt along with ABC Risk and Operations Management realized what they just became exposed to.   ABC could be in for a world of hurt because of Matt’s admission.

Not only their credibility, which has already been shaken by their admission of manipulation of evidence in this case, but now they are exposing themselves to financial risk from lawsuits on behalf of George Zimmerman’s interests for intentional collusion with an official investigator, Chris Serino, of the Sanford Police Dept.

His personal twitter feed @MattGutman was barely used today, and nothing from Matt Himself.

Nervous yet?

More Perps, the pod is not full yet.

    • myopiafree says:

Hi Howie – This is the basic LIE that Serino published:
According to the Sanford Police Department, Christopher Serino made the decision to transfer “of his own volition.”

Serino’s un-redacted report detailing his findings about the shooting the night of Feb. 26 was released Tuesday.

In his report, Serino, who interviewed Zimmerman in the days following the shooting, wrote that in following Martin, Zimmerman’s actions were “inconsistent with those of a person who has stated he was in fear of another subject.” He wrote that Zimmerman had at least two opportunities to speak to the teen and “defuse the situation.” He also noted that Zimmerman “failed to identify himself” as a concerned citizen or neighborhood watch member on two occasions that night.
The reality is that TM was a suspicious, paranoid thug. TM was warned by SIGN – that he would be watched. He could read!! The first “encounter”, TM could have asked – in a friendly way. The second “encounter” was when TM came back up the “T” to “mess” with GZ. There was no chance for a polite discussion there either. If anyone asked GZ in a conversational tone – I am certain GZ would have told him – since he was proud to serve the people in this gated community.

      • Deadassassin says:

why do you assume he can read standard english? I know you have seen his tweets, and I know you know he was often not in school learning.

    • John Galt says:

“This is NO MISTAKE ! He’s digging a hole. DEEP”

He doesn’t need to dig a burrow, a pod awaits.

Does anyone know how Twitter accidentally messed up and deleted his incriminating Tweets? Maybe Ryan Julison can explain that? Has Twitter been contacted to look into the missing Tweets?

  2. ytz4mee says:

He can run, but he can’t hide. Fire @MattGutmanABC
He was an “early adopter” of the false narrative and outrighted LIED to sell it.

  3. stellap says:

Funny – I was just checking twitter to see if Guttman was still there – negative.

  4. froggielegs says:

Here’s the screen shot of his admitting it

  5. James F says:

His profile link still shows it.

  6. froggielegs says:

Here’s a screen shot of the entire page showing it on his twitter. Just click to enlarge it.

  7. DawnDoe says:

Maybe he thought he was sending a private message? Did he pull a Congressman Weiner?

  8. John Galt says:

    Gutman = NeverFollow ?

  9. Great job everyone. This is one of those things you suspect to be true but don’t think will be confirmed for a long time, if ever.

Site where supporters of fired Sanford PD chief are asking for information.

    • stephufla says:

Ok, I just linked again to the above site in a private message. If they want to help PD Lee, up to them to come here. I have sent several messages. My work is done. I think. Well, if anyone thinks I should do anything more, let me know. 🙂

  11. Rich Branson says:

Can’t wait till all these scumbags in the MSM get sued. Hopefully Zimm goes after Crump and Sharpton as well. That’s the only way those scumbags are gonna learn a lesson, is to hit em in their wallets.

    • Dawn Doe says:

I think Zimmerman should sue because he and his family will always be in danger and unable to make a decent living.

      • James Crawford says:

Yep, Zimmerman needs to sue for damages included:

Lost wages for him and SC over 30 years @ $75 k each = $4.5 million

Security needed as a result of the New Black Panthers threat,
        Two, full time guards 24/7 @ $30/hr = $15,768,000

        Emotional distress = $30 million

        Punative damages = $100 million

  12. sybilj says:

May want to watch the Scheme Team flunky fb page. Yeah, one of Gutman “likes” from way back in March. He signed on waaaay early. 😉

  13. Disgusted With Julison says:

So we really have broken this down to several paths of information and exclusives:
Serino —-> Gutman —–> ABC (legal smears/frame ups of GZ)

Julison —-> Weiner (I will include Stutzman….but think Weiner was running the show) —-> Orlando Sentinel —–> Syndicated papers across the country (negative articles planted to create a national narrative)

Julison/Crump —-> Strassman/St. Peter —–> CBS (600 pound elephant in the room) (bring on the race card……white supremecist murders little boy in footy pajamas in cold blood holding candy and tea…..)

The machine was solidly in place…..and now Rome begins to crumble……

    Popcorn anyone????

How wonderful to see you over here….using common sense, logical thinking and making good points. 🙂 Quite a departure from your days at that disgustingly liberal mess of a blog run by old JB. Good for YOU girl!! Nice to see other “reformed” and intelligent contributors like Omar as well.

  15. Icestation2 says:

If Serino really did leak information about the case, how does this effect the case against GZ?

BUSTED! Sundance you must be giving these people a HUGE headache. Ya think they’d learn that with eyes like yours on them they’re NOT going to get away with anything. Nor should they.

  20. Rona says:

Thank you Sundance, and all the other great tweeters – job well done!

  21. ytz4mee says:

Matt Gutman outed Serino because he thought it was all coming out in the wash. When that turned out to not be true — there is some major cover up and spin happening over Serino’s “voluntary request” to be demoted to beat cop — he tried to back track. No one believes Gutman, nor should they.

Gutman in particular has backtracked whenever his lies have been uncovered, challenged and questioned. I assume at this juncture he must be politically connected, or he would have been released from fulltime employment by now, just like the NBC employees who doctored a “package” that was heavily biased, and untrue, against Zimmerman early on in the selling of the “narrative”.

People need to continue to push back on blogs and twitter and mock Gutman and affirm what he is – a discredited hack, not a “journalist”, whatever THAT means these days. This week my daily walk leads me right past the CUNY college of journalism and the NY Times building and I always have a lot of commentary to vocalize on this part of my walk, much to the amusement of surrounding pedestrians.

  22. minpin says:

Serino served his purpose in helping to frame the narrative, particularly that GZ was a racist, and Gutman has no more need of his help. If/when Gutman and ABC are sued, they will simply say that they were getting their information from the lead detective on the case, and it wasn’t their fault if that lead guy gave them false information.

Look at the news being reported since yesterday about the case, especially on ABC news reports, they are all leaning heavily on what Serino said, what Serino recommended, what ideas Serino had etc. In most reports they are talking about the lead detective but not naming him, or they are simply referring to the police department. ABC is making it appear that everyone in the SPD agreed with Serino, and that is not true at all. Yesterday, on ABC news reports on the radio, they began every report with “with the release of new evidence in the Zimmerman/Martin case, we are now seeing why the SPD wanted to arrest George Zimmerman.” They’ve talked about the fact that GZ was not at a physical disadvantage, he missed two opportunities to tell TM who he was, he had only marginal injuries, which all came from Serino’s police reports. Today they are reporting that GZ made fun of a middle eastern co-worker at CarMax, so much so that the man had to complain to his bosses. Then they add that GZ was fired from CarMax.

Even though Gutman outed Serino as his source, ABC will not back down, and in fact they have stepped up their negative reporting on GZ. The fact that he passed two lie detector tests has never crossed their lips that I am aware of. ABC is way to heavily invested in pushing their narrative that they don’t even have the sense to back down. The only way these people will ever stop is if they are bankrupted in lawsuits for false reporting and defamation.

  23. My comment:
Now Gutless takes the “bad cop” interview – the 5th one JZ took with no lawyer, and after he’d passed *TWO* lie-detector tests – out of context and tries to present it as how the PD really felt.

Everyone knows of the “good cop/bad cop” routine, and that cops can and will say anything including lie to try to get someone to slip up or confess.

And speaking of “gutless” – how much credibility are we supposed to place on someone who won’t show their face or their name? How do we know JZ didn’t report him for some wrongdoing and this is his twisted attempt to get revenge?

The BIGGEST question is why Gutless is going so far to try to deny that he tweeted “yes he was” as a direct response to the question “was Serino the source of all your exclusive leaks”!

As word started to spread, gutless locked down his twitter account then deleted all the old incriminating stuff before bringing it back to “public” and is now accusing those who stored screen-snaps prior to his deletion of making them up in photoshop?!

Sorry Gutless – I saw it for myself, before you deleted it, on your Twitter page!

So did quite a number of other conservatives at the treehouse!

Yer BUSTED, gutless – why not man up for a change and admit the truth!!

    • John Galt says:

“The BIGGEST question is why Gutless is going so far to try to deny that he tweeted “yes he was” as a direct response to the question “was Serino the source of all your exclusive leaks”!”

The Serino leaks are just the tip of the iceberg. Gutman’s ABC “interview” with Dee Dee needs to be investigated.

Gutman is yelling fire in a crowded theater.

    Matt is a gutless WORM!!!!!!!!

  25. JB says:

I always thought it was Crump and his Cronies because he commented on the tape and was the source of Matt Gutman’s exclusives. He remained silent immediately upon the revealing of the 2nd ‘ehanced’ video. I always felt the Department realized something went on and got ahold of ABC and that’s why they magically changed their story with their ‘enhanced’ video. That was the quickest about face I have seen in some time.

Since Serino, please correct me if I am wrong, was not relegated to a desk job during that week, I believe it’s a bit more complicated than Serino being a leak. Maybe I’m wrong but Crump had too much to gain and, who knows, maybe the truth is half way. Maybe his team got to Serino – but I think it’s more than just that one man being involved.

  26. JB says:

One thing people are forgetting is people were 100% sure this wouldn’t go to trial so there was no need to cover ones tracks or ‘be careful’. As Sundance Cracker stated a month or so ago, the intent was for the press to drive the story further so they can have continual content and the race baiters/hucksters just wanted their moment in the sun. They didn’t realize the sun can be deadly. It is now our duty to get out the magnifying glass and finish the job. Thank God for this site or nothing would get done in the world of ‘investigative and fair journalism’.

What a joke the media is as well as the majority of people who are on the dark on this story. Thank you for all your work.
