In Memoriam 1969 – 2012

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.

For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

The Guv has continued to tell dear leader to stuff his Fed bucks. He has made the comment that every dollar we take from the Feds has a string attached to it. Which, of course, all here know. That is one reason we didn’t take any “Race to the Top” education funds. The only kicker is that we are one of the largest states in terms of tax dollars going to DC and a net loser in money coming back. Oh, what we could do if we just cut out the middleman. Morning All! Today’s is my Friday – tomorrow we head west to see the grandbabies!!! Can hardly wait to snuggle those little critters – ‘specially the new kidlet!

The Libertarians are poised to screw up the chances for Montana to have a Republican Senator. The race between Tester (D-Obama) and Rehberg is expected to be one of the hardest fought and closest in the country. Tester won in 2006 by less than 4000 votes and all polls now show Rehberg with a slight lead. Two Libertarians filed for the seat and because the L party didn’t field enough candidates down-ticket, they won’t have a primary – both will be on the general election ballot. If they draw off many votes, they could effectively elect Tester. Sh!t. (Where’s the cuss jar?)

About the libertarian spoilers in Montana. I think that is the goal of Ron Paul. As Mark Levin has pointed out Ron Paul is of the libertarian anarchist system of thought. Not sure that his end game is much different than BO/BS’s end game. Fundamental Transformation of this country.

Gas prices are not a fluke? BO/BS and his cohorts goal/plan is scarcity. When resources become scarce, then citizens will turn on “the rich” and demand change; transformation. Sound familiar? Fundamental Transformation. BO/BS is the master at class warfare and agitation.

  19. This speech was broadcast by legendary ABC Radio commentator Paul Harvey on April 3, 1965:

If I were the Devil . . . I mean, if I were the Prince of Darkness, I would of course, want to engulf the whole earth in darkness. I would have a third of its real estate and four-fifths of its population, but I would not be happy until I had seized the ripest apple on the tree, so I should set about however necessary to take over the United States. I would begin with a campaign of whispers. With the wisdom of a serpent, I would whisper to you as I whispered to Eve: “Do as you please.” “Do as you please.” To the young, I would whisper, “The Bible is a myth.” I would convince them that man created God instead of the other way around. I would confide that what is bad is good, and what is good is “square”. In the ears of the young marrieds, I would whisper that work is debasing, that cocktail parties are good for you. I would caution them not to be extreme in religion, in patriotism, in moral conduct. And the old, I would teach to pray. I would teach them to say after me: “Our Father, which art in Washington” . . .

If I were the devil, I’d educate authors in how to make lurid literature exciting so that anything else would appear dull an uninteresting. I’d threaten T.V. with dirtier movies and vice versa. And then, if I were the devil, I’d get organized. I’d infiltrate unions and urge more loafing and less work, because idle hands usually work for me. I’d peddle narcotics to whom I could. I’d sell alcohol to ladies and gentlemen of distinction. And I’d tranquilize the rest with pills. If I were the devil, I would encourage schools to refine yound intellects but neglect to discipline emotions . . . let those run wild. I would designate an athiest to front for me before the highest courts in the land and I would get preachers to say “she’s right.” With flattery and promises of power, I could get the courts to rule what I construe as against God and in favor of pornography, and thus, I would evict God from the courthouse, and then from the school house, and then from the houses of Congress and then, in His own churches I would substitute psychology for religion, and I would deify science because that way men would become smart enough to create super weapons but not wise enough to control them.

If I were Satan, I’d make the symbol of Easter an egg, and the symbol of Christmas, a bottle. If I were the devil, I would take from those who have and I would give to those who wanted, until I had killed the incentive of the ambitious. And then, my police state would force everybody back to work. Then, I could separate families, putting children in uniform, women in coal mines, and objectors in slave camps. In other words, if I were Satan, I’d just keep on doing what he’s doing.

    Paul Harvey, Good Day.

That particular email addy has never been in contact with whitehouse.gov. How did they get that email addy, and did they intend for this unsolicited assault on my intelligence to be an act of intimidation? Or merely a mildly creepy spam attack by the White House itself? This is one sentence in an article written by Joan of Argghh; and I believe that it’s one of the most profound statements I’ve read in a long time. And prophetic.

Socialism is a luxury the world has been afforded by the economic producers in the world. If we go down, we’re taking you with us.

The “we”, of course being the producers. And I agree with this fully. In the first place, the socialists need the producers. And if the producers decide to ‘Go Galt’ – the socialists are goin’ down.

Once the Theocrats, with fascist ideology, become the policy makers they quickly dispatch away the rules that allowed them to rise to power, thereby eliminating any possibility of their control being challenged. And, as a horrible specific consequence, by design, freedom is lost. 😦
