Let us begin with a moment of pause, reflection, and prayer for the people of Japan, the lost souls, their families, and those still caught amid the chaos.   As the sheer magnitude of the Quake, Tsunami, and the unfolding human tragedy is assessed please stop by the prayer thread to support some of our friends and loved ones who have been closely impacted.

We are amid challenging times, and it is easy to feel overwhelmed, but we are able to draw strength from each other in this – our little TreeHouse of refugees.   So with the weekend here lets take a moment to share our blankies, cozy up comfy, decompress and remind ourselves of the joy of fellowship.

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me;
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Amen †
