There is a Calm in America tonight. I feel it. You feel it. ‘Tis a most welcome calm.
Every fair-minded person knows something most unusual happened in the 2020
Presidential Election. Everyone. Truly. Knows. One side, blinded by ends-justify-the-means thinking, wilfully ignores the evidence and continues along with the same charade which has existed not only in the news media echo chamber for the past 4 years, but also in respect to rampant election fraud in certain areas of the United States for decades. They have no credibility. They are sadly, and hopelessly, self-deceived. This is a very, very painful thing to consider about nearly one-half of our fellow citizens, endowed by the same Creator. Achingly sad. Whose life, which community, what nation was ever, truly materially harmed by having more God than less in it? Yet for some inscrutable reason the other side wants less and less God, and all suffer because of this.
The other side has its Unshakeable Faith in the Rule of Law and, I dare say, for most: Unshakeable Faith in God. This is the same enduring message President Donald Trump has been expressing, through bold words and action his entire presidency. Law and Order matters. Faith matters. His faith in American Justice is not shaken; nor should ours be. Justice will prevail. His actions have permanently endeared untold millions of us to him, forever. If ever there was anyone capable of taking on the massive system of systemic, Democratic election fraud, it is him.
We’ve been wronged (temporarily) but, we’re not rioting. We’re not tearing our country apart. How could we? Why would we? We simply love it too much to do so. But our country needs healing. The route to unity comes not with caving into the present lawlessness. It comes by standing fast and demanding the treasured institutions of our system of justice work as the Framer’s intended. And that is what we are doing, all of us, praying and intensely watching in the Calm. The other side might riot, but eventually they will know we’re not going to stand idly by to witness the destruction of our beloved country. Except for a relatively brief period where several cities for several months had serious and shocking unrest, for the vast bulk of the last 4 years in 99 percent of the country, we had an incredible period of peace and prosperity, almost without historical precedent. After this election is fairly and properly adjudicated, there will most probably be some unrest by the same crowd, but a remarkable period of peace and prosperity will again return to this land.
We simply have to believe, pray, and act to make it so. Our President does, and we have his back and he has ours. Happy Thanksgiving everyone and thank you all so very much for keeping my spirits high and strengthening the bonds of fealty and love across this blessed land, earthly and ‘lectonically. God bless.
