Anyone notice Trump’s slip at the end with “why” the virus came here?
That was a deliberate slip intended to generate a headline and a discussion.
“This is something that came to us out of………I don’t know….I won’t be able to tell you yet…maybe at some point I’ll be able to report exactly why it came to us but it came out of China….it shouldn’t have happened….”
Just a guess but after his first pause when he looked down, I thought he was going to say this is something that came to us out of a lab.
This whole thing is sour, all of it. Dr Siegel is an actor, a talking head, a propagandist, no more. And most of the info we get is relayed by these propagandists, a series of lies that lead us or drive us from the truth.
Covid is not a plague, it is just like every other sickness we have overcome with smart effective treatments but, we somehow have become helpless to common sense, and useful medicines. How are governors unaccountable but Trump is?
If a mouse farts in China, our intel can tell what it has been eating within minutes, does anyone believe this caught us by surprise?

But you know the MSM is going to fix on? Trump misspoke and referred to the “95% mortality” – he no doubt meant 95% survival rate. If Biden said something like that – “oh, just another Biden gaffe, slip of the tongue, etc.” WIth Trump it no doubt will be “invoke the 25th Amendment!”
I believe he was referring to the improvement of the mortality rate being 95 – 85%. I caught what he meant because I remember him speaking of it previously. I’m pretty sure of this.
Yes. The mortality rate or survival rate have never been at 85% so he was obviously referring to a different statistic than straight mortality rate.
Mortality rate is the death rate. 95 per cent means 95 per cent of the people die, not survive!

Everyone else has a lower risk of dying from COVID-19 than they have of dying from the flu

Blue State governors have definitely interfered with and obstructed HCQ availability which to me should open them up for serious lawsuits. Too many doctors to ignore had reported success with early treatment using that old and safe med. IMHO a lot of people died unnecessarily.

Long, slow, inexorable climb towards ever increasing involvement of the government, in health care.
It’s pretty obvious, EARLY treatment, whether with HCQ, Regeneron or whatever, is ESSENTIAL.
SO, sending people home, until they are “seriously ill” was a “bad call”, almost as bad as requiring nursing homes to accept discharged patients, that were still contagious.
But, the Dems whole pitch is that we should “trust the experts”,. who can’t manage the economy, or trade deals, or foreign relations, or wars or,…well ANYTHING, really.
They have a “reverse midas touch”; everything they touch, turns to crap!

Most of those states have Attorneys General who are politically aligned with their Governor so there’s no pushback from them. Citizens have been complaining and protesting all along but the Fake News media ignores them. Until a court intervenes and stops these tyrants – and that cannot happen until a lawsuit is filed and allowed to proceed – there is nothing stopping them…short of an armed rebellion.
I think PT did a great job here but, me personally, would have found someone else to interview with. This Doc Siegel was on Fox last weekend giving the president down the road for how he handled the virus. I didn’t care for Siegel at all. He had PT on his death bed from the time he went into Walter Reed Hospital.

I a going to disagree w you. Siegel has been on Tucker multiple times and has been positive in attitude, honest in his appraisals, and a supporter of the Trump admin.
Seifel gas been a big Trump supporter when it comes to opening up the economy.
I think President Trump could’ve been on his death bed or sick for a long while without treatment and I am glad he is offering the cocktail he received to everyone for free. That means doctors will use it on people early, when it is most effective preventing the progression of this disease. If it is free, the hospitals will still be paid, and will use it.
I’m sooooo thankful that this didn’t end bad for the President and that he is in good health again.

I hope some of the COVID19 suffers see this because he had some heartfelt words. I’ve got a feeling no MSM outlet will show a single frame of a video that shows a calm, sympathetic Donald Trump.
The media has gotten to the point where they actively avoid anything that doesn’t fit the cookie cutter narratives. It angers me that younger reporters are being taught that a deceptive, cherry-picked, pejorative style of reporting is a talent to aspire to. The older editors and journalists are not mentoring the younger ones and this is another moral blind spot of the left.

j’accuse, point of reference regarding the state of journalism. Here in SoCal, the LA Times WAS our paper of note. It has been dying on the vine for a few years now, but has accelerated downhill in the last year or so. Inside scoop: Most of the “older editors and journalists” have been put out to pasture through buyouts and layoffs and replaced with SJWs who have been heavily indoctrinated in college. The wall between Editorial and hard news no longer stands, infact, News of today is extreme compared with editorials of just 5 years ago. Did the newsroom shift occur to assist the shift in MSM output style, getting the old dogs who might have qualms out of the way? or was it simply a matter of costs and reducing compensation budgets? LAT is a mere shadow of its former self.
In fact, for a while the LA Times was one of the few major newspapers still clinging to some sanity, Lurker! I guess those days are over!
There needs to be a major breakup of the news outlets. USA Today owns our local paper and they have bought up all the little papers in the outlying areas. One company owns most of the radio stations in town. Maybe we need laws where papers have to be owned by a person who actually lives in the county. We need to do something about a few megacorps owning vast numbers of local papers.
They like to blame the internet for the collapse of newspapers, but, like our USA paper, subscriptions have fallen way off because of their biased coverage. I talk to people everyday who would like to get an actual local paper that gave real, unbiased local news and national news. When I have called to paper to point out their biased reporting, they smirk and mock, all the while bleeding subscribers.
Agree that bias is the death blow and that they are snarky AF. They cannot seem to fathom that many small business owners are CONSERVATIVE and that they are unlikely to want to advertise in a rag that mocks their point of view mercilessly. Ditto for those who don’t want to read biased “news”. Internet hurt them, but the bias is a self inflicted wound.

I canceled my subscription many years ago due to their obvious bias. They called to try to get me to renew and asked wouldn’t I miss the paper for any reason. I said only the crossword puzzle. They said they would still send me just the ads. I told them no thanks, I wasn’t interested in helping them with their advertising revenue.

I enjoyed the interview of President Trump by Dr. Siegel. Dr. Siegel’s Dad recovered from the Corona virus so he was the perfect man to do the interview. Our President is an optimist and as usual was open with Dr. Siegel. It is wonderful so much progress has been made in the treatment of this virus. It gives us all hope.
And Dr. Siegel boldly said that HCQ is what his dad received and why he recovered. Made no bones about it. That took courage and he didn’t hesitate.
What if, these people are sending live carriers of the virus to target the Trump inner circle? The bio equivalent of a bomb.

I think Trump shook this Democrat-inflicted October surprise exceedingly better than expected. Democrats must be horribly disappointed.
Think when the president spoke of a 95% morbidity rate, clearly he meant “survival” rate. I suspect he personalized that survival rate to his own age group of 70+ years of age which is, according to the CDC about 95%. A small slip, but maybe a missed opportunity to inform the public of the survival rate of 99%+ for individuals under 70 years of age who contract this virus, or additionally pointing out the near 99.99% survival rate for those under 50 years of age and the near 99.999% rate for those under 20 years of age.
Survival rates from Covid per the CDC:
0-19 years: 99.997% survive (3 deaths per 100,000 infections)
20-49 years: 99.98% survive (2 deaths per 10,000 infections)
50-69 years: 99.5% survive
70+ years: 94.6% survive (this includes all those whose have outlived normal life expectation)
Note these metrics use the inflated death counts that include the 94% of Covid-counted deaths that include 2.6 other morbidities, rather than the mere 6% of the deaths where Covid was the sole cause listed. Even using this inflated death count, the survival rate for those impacted are in the 99+% range for those under 70 years of age.
Another interesting metric is the annual US deaths from all causes over these past several years, which has been essentially flat at just over 2.8M over these past 4 years (2017-20), despite the population growth.

This is one of the few ways, that I attempt to red pill the general population. Using the death rate of the Spanish Flu of 1917, 1918. Fifty to two million deaths, with a world population of about 1.8 billion people. Percentage range of 2.77% to 11.1 percent. Today’s world population about 7.8 billion people, One percent is 78 million people, we are nowhere close to that number,, as of today just under 1.1 million deaths WITH the WU-FLU.

That 200,000 covid death number is inflated, but at this point no one knows by how much. What we DO know is that anyone who died while they had the virus was classified “covid death.” Fall off a bridge, they do a post mortem covid test, comes back positive … covid death. The man looks good. I think he’s right that early treatment is probably the key. If you wait, as many of us are inclined to do, the virus has a chance to establish itself to a much greater extent.
On another note, the way he describes how he felt sounds very familiar to me. I went through a period early in the year (toward the end of February) where I was extremely fatigued. One afternoon I was so tired I actually went into the bedroom to see if I could take a nap. Slept from about 4 until 2:30 AM, got up (rest of the family was asleep, of course). About 3:30, I was again very tired so I went back to bed and didn’t wake up until after 10AM. No appetite (nothing had any flavor). Lost about 10 pounds over the next week. Tiredness lasted about two weeks or so. No other symptoms. Did I have it? Don’t know but haven’t caught anything since.
So…..should we be buying Regeneron regn ?
