On Monday a man assaulted two people in New York with a hammer.
hammer attack new yorkThe first victim was a 28-year-old woman struck in the head while she was sitting on a park bench in Union Square. Moments later, he allegedly hit a 33-year-old woman in the head as she was walking down the street. Both victims were treated for their head injuries and released, according to the NYPD.  (media story)

The whacko attacked the female police officer Lauren O’Rourke. Another NYPD officer, Geraldo Casaigne, shot him twice.

At a time when the popular social and media meme is to criticize police officers – it’s past time for people to pause, think, and recognize what society would be like -with unstable people walking around- if it were not for brave police officers stopping their violent behavior…
