Three killed, five wounded in Myrtle Beach shootings“….

….or so goes the Politically Correct CNN headline.   Considering there were only two homocides in 2013 one would think this headline would lead to questions.   Eight people shot in Myrtle beach – during one shooting spree and three of them dead?

Isn’t that actually more people than were shot by a Hollywood Socialite yesterday ?  Yet, we don’t see wall-to-wall CNN media coverage of this one….  Why is that ?

Alas, a little further research and you discover this specific shooting spree has an element the PC media just cannot discuss.   It’s Black Bike Week.   From their website:

Now it’s it’s time for Black Bike Week 2014 The Revolution!  Black Bike Week’s Back!! and Black Bike Week Back is GROWING!!    No Helment law, No Noise Ordinance, No haters, AND MORE PEOPLE

Over 500,000+ People will be hitting the Myrtle Beach Area for 4 days of non stop riding, partying, and fun! “if you can stay long you def should!!!

Note how in the CNN article they make no mention of the event, and note how even in the Carolina article (below) they obfuscate the event removing the self-identified, and self-promoted, racial aspect of the event in favor of a disingenuous “Bike Week” label.   Political Correctness running amuck.

BBW Myrtle BeachCAROLINA – Three people are dead and at least two are seriously hurt following two separate shootings Saturday night.

Horry County Coroner Darris Fowler has identified the victims as Jamie Williams, 28, of Ladson, Devonte Dantzler, 21, of Summerville, and Sandy Gaddis Barnwell, 22, of Summerville.

Fowler says Williams and Dantzler were pronounced dead on scene, and Barnwell was pronounced dead at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Fowler says all three died from trauma to vital organs due to gunshot wounds.

Two people were killed at the Bermuda Sands Motel, two others were shot and in “bad condition”, according to Captain David Knipes with Myrtle Beach Police.

One person was shot in the area of 6th Avenue South and Ocean Boulevard and was also in “bad condition”, Knipes added.

Myrtle Beach police say as of Sunday morning, there are no suspects in custody.

In the early Sunday morning hours, hundreds of people lined the streets. It was a scene of chaos and confusion.

We spoke with Jamont Samuel who said he saw one of the victim’s run around the corner right after he was shot.

“The dude who got hit I mean it was just crazy. He ran around the corner and I guess his adrenaline was pumping. You could see where he eventually fell and collapsed,” Samuel explained.

Samuel added that moments later, he saw that same victim gasping for air, breathing in what may have been his last breaths of life. “It was like to the point where he had a lot of blood everywhere and he was just trying to breathe and he was like huh, huh. everybody was all around him.”

Moments after the shooting, hundreds of people in the area ran in all directions.

“I was scared to death. I just took off and started running. I was scared,” said Debra Lovack, another witness.

This tragedy took place a little more than a day away from the end of Atlantic Beach Memorial Bike Week. (read more)
