MH-370 The “False Flag” HiJack Theory…. A Web Researcher Claims To Have Located A Hidden Message and Photograph From A Hijacked Passenger of MH-370

Disclaimer:   Recent publications within the blogosphere paint a rather remarkable possibility.   HOWEVER, what I’m outlining here is the connection of them, and NOT the validation of them.

That said, a recent EXPLOSIVE ASPECT is either a very sick mind at play who has a really good technical capacity to create a possibility, OR – the genuine, albeit frightening, event.

malaysia flight 370

Y’all know what our initial take was.  If you don’t well, go look through the 3 weeks of archives.    When the possibility of a “false flag operation” was raised, we outlined specifically who would benefit from it, why they would do it, and why they would do it now.

This latest web-reporting development goes in the direction of that “false flag”.

It begins with the discovery of a picture uploaded to the web reported with the following headline:  “IBM ENGINEER TAKEN FROM HIJACKED FLIGHT 370 GOT A SELFIE OUT TO THE INTERNET”   The article is HERE.

In essence the article says that MH-370 Passenger Philip Wood was able to post a picture to the web on March 18th 2014 along with the text:

I have been held hostage by unknown military personal after my flight was hijacked (blindfolded). I work for IBM and I have managed to hide my cellphone in my ass during the hijack. I have been separated from the rest of the passengers and I am in a cell. My name is Philip Wood. I think I have been drugged as well and cannot think clearly.

You’ll find the original article HERE and another version HERE

After scouring around for a few hours the best *original source* of the image was located HERE.  Here is the picture (a black -non image- photograph):

Philip Wood

A web-based version of the image (non downloaded/clean copy) is available HERE

Here’s where it gets interesting.    Using an exif data file to pull the metadata from the image: The image was indeed taken from an iPhone 5 on March 18th 2014 at 8:48:41 pm (20:49:41) and the embedded location shows the image was taken in the South Indian Ocean at/around a U.S. military base on Diego Garcia.

Here are screen grabs of the meta-data file contained within the photograph.

The GPS coordinates for the image are:

        • Lat:  7″18’58.308907
        • Long:  72″25’35.559082

You can trace them yourself with inputs on this Mapping Tool HERE

Diego Garcia is just due south of the Maldives.   Three days after the flight went missing.  Three eye witness accounts surfaced of a large commercial flight appearing to be a Boeing 777ER were initially reported from the Southern Maldives.   The eyewitnesses said it was highly unusual.

The U.S. military has a forward operating base at Diego Garcia – we operate U.S. Stealth Bomber units from this station as well as operate U.S. Geo Space surveillance (GEODSS telescopes) at a neighboring facility.

If this is the REAL DEAL someone from Philip Woods’ family would be able to verify his phone data and verify this image came from his iPhone 5.

I have been held hostage by unknown military personal after my flight was hijacked (blindfolded). I work for IBM and I have managed to hide my cellphone in my ass during the hijack. I have been separated from the rest of the passengers and I am in a cell. My name is Philip Wood. I think I have been drugged as well and cannot think clearly

If this is not the real deal, someone is really sick and twisted in the head to construct an elaborate ruse.

But This:

Does Make More Sense Than THIS:

malaysia search 7

THE FALSE FLAG ASPECT -  If you take the information at face value, and consider it authentic, then the obvious question becomes who would hijack the flight and why.

Considering the Iranian passengers on board travelling on false passports, and considering who would benefit from the ability to operate a military exercise/incursion into Iran under the auspices of removing the threat of a hijacked Jumbo 777-ER, you enter the world of geo-politics and Iran’s ambitions toward a nuclear weapon.

Who wants to stop that?

Who has the most skin in that outcome?

The answers to those questions come down heavily on the side of Israel.     However, Israel would need the U.S. to know, possibly assist, and definitely run cover if needed.

The Iranian passengers, holding the fake documents, would not even know they were “patsies” for the ploy.   They probably wouldn’t even know their falsified documents come from non-Iranian impetus.

As with all false flag operations the degrees of separation are contingent upon the operation itself. Likewise if the airline pilots were participating in the event it’s likely too they would not know who was behind the curtain at the origin of the plan.

With that in mind here’s another aspect which advances the theory.    The “sister ship” to the Boeing 777-ER which flew under the title MH-370 is an identical airplane which was registered to Malaysia Airlines in 2013 but sold to another carrier.

Rather than go through all of the complex registrations and transfers of ownership, there is a u-tube guy who has tracked the registrations and put a video together:   (he’s a little annoying in his presentation – but the information contained within it is verified)

It all seems like a grand conspiracy theory – because, well, in essence it is.

But the aspect of the phone picture sent by passenger Philip Wood, if true, complicates the possibility of the plan continuing.

And before we dismiss too easily lets not forget the history of known “False Flags“:

  • As admitted by the U.S. government, recently declassified documents show that in the 1960′s, the American Joint Chiefs of Staff signed off on a plan to blow up AMERICAN airplanes (using an elaborate plan involving the switching of airplanes), and also to commit terrorist acts on American soil, and then to blame it on the Cubans in order to justify an invasion of Cuba. See the following ABC news reportthe official documents; and watch this interview with the former Washington Investigative Producer for ABC’s World News Tonight with Peter Jennings.
  • 2 years before, American Senator George Smathers had suggested that the U.S. make “a false attack made on Guantanamo Bay which would give us the excuse of actually fomenting a fight which would then give us the excuse to go in and [overthrow Castro]“.
  • And Official State Department documents show that – only nine months before the Joint Chiefs of Staff plan was proposed – the head of the Joint Chiefs and other high-level officials discussed blowing up a consulate in the Dominican Republic in order to justify an invasion of that country. The 3 plans were not carried out, but they were all discussed as serious proposals
  • A U.S. Congressional committee admitted that – as part of its “Cointelpro” campaign – the FBI had used many provocateurs in the 1950s through 1970s to carry out violent acts and falsely blame them on political activists
  • The South African Truth and Reconciliation Council found that, in 1989, the Civil Cooperation Bureau (a covert branch of the South African Defense Force) approached an explosives expert and asked him “to participate in an operation aimed at discrediting the ANC [the African National Congress] by bombing the police vehicle of the investigating officer into the murder incident”, thus framing the ANC for the bombing
  • An Algerian diplomat and several officers in the Algerian army admit that, in the 1990s, the Algerian army frequently massacred Algerian civilians and then blamed Islamic militants for the killings (and see this video; and Agence France-Presse, 9/27/2002, French Court Dismisses Algerian Defamation Suit Against Author)
  • Senior Russian Senior military and intelligence officers admit that the KGB blew up Russian apartment buildings and falsely blamed it on Chechens, in order to justify an invasion of Chechnya (and see this report and this discussion)
  • According to the Washington Post, Indonesian police admit that the Indonesian military killed American teachers in Papua in 2002 and blamed the murders on a Papuan separatist group in order to get that group listed as a terrorist organization.
  • The well-respected former Indonesian president also admits that the government probably had a role in the Bali bombings
  • As reported by BBC, the New York Times, and Associated Press, Macedonian officials admit that the government murdered 7 innocent immigrants in cold blood and pretended that they were Al Qaeda soldiers attempting to assassinate Macedonian police, in order to join the “war on terror”.
  • Although the FBI now admits that the 2001 anthrax attacks were carried out by one or more U.S. government scientists, a senior FBI official says that the FBI was actually told to blame the Anthrax attacks on Al Qaeda by White House officials (remember what the anthrax letters looked like). Government officials also confirm that the white House tried to link the anthrax to Iraq as a justification for regime change in that country
  • Former Department of Justice lawyer John Yoo suggested in 2005 that the US should go on the offensive against al-Qaeda, having “our intelligence agencies create a false terrorist organization. It could have its own websites, recruitment centers, training camps, and fundraising operations. It could launch fake terrorist operations and claim credit for real terrorist strikes, helping to sow confusion within al-Qaeda’s ranks, causing operatives to doubt others’ identities and to question the validity of communications.”
  • United Press International reported in June 2005:

U.S. intelligence officers are reporting that some of the insurgents in Iraq are using recent-model Beretta 92 pistols, but the pistols seem to have had their serial numbers erased. The numbers do not appear to have been physically removed; the pistols seem to have come off a production line without any serial numbers. Analysts suggest the lack of serial numbers indicates that the weapons were intended for intelligence operations or terrorist cells with substantial government backing. Analysts speculate that these guns are probably from either Mossad or the CIA. Analysts speculate that agent provocateurs may be using the untraceable weapons even as U.S. authorities use insurgent attacks against civilians as evidence of the illegitimacy of the resistance.

  • Undercover Israeli soldiers admitted in 2005 to throwing stones at other Israeli soldiers so they could blame it on Palestinians, as an excuse to crack down on peaceful protests by the Palestinians
  • Quebec police admitted that, in 2007, thugs carrying rocks to a peaceful protest were actually undercover Quebec police officers (and see this)
  • At the G20 protests in London in 2009, a British member of parliament saw plain clothes police officers attempting to incite the crowd to violence
  • A Colombian army colonel has admitted that his unit murdered 57 civilians, then dressed them in uniforms and claimed they were rebels killed in combat.
  • The highly-respected writer for the Telegraph Ambrose Evans-Pritchard says that the head of Saudi intelligence – Prince Bandar – recently admitted that the Saudi government controls “Chechen” terrorists.

  1. nyetneetot says:

Not to argue for or against: It’s too easy for a knowledgeable individual to edit data in a digital photo or video (disclaimer: I haven’t looked at the photo in any detail). If I recall, IBM Blue pages is handled by a contracted HR firm so everyone that is a currently in under IBM’s payroll and has an active IBM E-Mail address should be in it. On the other hand I personally know someone that should show up on any internet search, but doesn’t due to who they are/were. As stated in the other thread, to me personally, it’s inconclusive.

  2. doodahdazee says:

Can’t be true. It has not been reported on LPNN. Lost Plane News Network. Todays episode is about the Black Box.

  3. Rob Crawford says:

At least you cleared the shark by a large margin when you jumped it.

  4. This story is intriguing and it is possible that Woods was able to successfully hide his cell phone during the hijacking, but surely he would have been stripped down and searched before being put into a cell to be held – particularly while drugged or otherwise incapacitated. It is not as if a hidden cell phone, thus a means of communication with the “outside world”, is beyond possible. If a false flag operation was devised to hijack this plane I seriously doubt those carrying this mission out would be sloppy enough to allow a cell phone to get through.

  5. Abagail says:

“The U.S. military has a forward operating base at Diego Garcia –”

Early on I posted my opinion that Israel was the probable target, but I cannot stop thinking about WHO is stalled somewhat and in need of a cataclysmic event to advance agenda. It’s Obama. I’ll leave it at that because my hands are full right now caring for a family member post surgery.

  6. dws says:

Hmmm. Diego Garcia has been talked about from the very beginning and I wouldn’t say that some grand conspiracy isn’t impossible. I believe in some whoppers myself. I just have a couple of issues with the story. The exif data and the lack of evidence of tampering with the info is very intriguing. But the story of Philip Wood hiding it in his rear does strain the believability a bit. While there is no doubt that very large objects can be and are inserted into rears daily, they usually have a conducive shape to facilitate the insertion and often lubrication to help and it doesn’t hurt if the rear is experienced with the passage of large objects. That being said, while not impossible, it certainly wouldn’t be a subtle maneuver (ie sitting in a 777 passenger seat next to other passengers) and would probably involve some bleeding at the very least. And does Diego Garcia have cell service? And though the twin plane to MH370 apparently exists in Tel Aviv, I’m not really sure what the significance of it is except that it’s Israel so then it must be significant?

  7. elvischupacabra says:

Maybe this is a counter-counter conspiracy to blame the Joooooooooooos. Seriously, I have a hard time seeing an “end game” in all this passes the risk/reward test.

  8. dws says:

    Philip Wood’s girlfriend believes it’s a conspiracy

  9. Chip Bennett says:

Okay, something strange is going on.

    I just pulled the original image, which included the following Lat/Lon: 7; 18; 58.3089, 72; 25; 35.55908.

    (Note the positive latitude.)

That places the image in the northern hemisphere, north of the Maldives.

Google is saying that Diego Garcia is at 7.3133, 72.4111.

This Military Lodging site says that Diego Garcia is at -7.3133, 72.4111.

I’ve checked the Exif three or four times, looking for some indication that the latitude is actually negative. What am I missing here?

    • tenndon says:

The exif data says the Latitude Reference is “S” or south. Thus in the Southern Hemisphere. The Longitude Reference is “E” or east.

      • tenndon says:

It’s also curious that the lat/long symbols for deg, min, sec are incorrect. They are written as Lat: 7″18’58.308907 Long: 72″25’35.559082. The symbol for degrees is superscript “o” for min is ‘ and sec ” . I’m not sure how an iPhone handles these symbols so I don’t know if the lat/long data are maybe faked by someone unfamiliar with convention or not.

      • Chip Bennett says:

Thanks for that. Apparently, Windoze doesn’t show the LatitudeRef and LongitudeRef in picture properties. Using another Exif viewer, I was able to verify Latitude is South, and Longitude is East.

  10. casparweinburger says:

This has fake screaming all over it

    • Josh says:

I agree. His “letter” is too wordy. For example: “I have managed to hide my cellphone in my ass during the hijack…” I believe that most people in this predicament would have said, “I have managed to hide my cellphone during the hijacking” if even that. But to write where the phone was hidden, for me, is more than someone would have taken the time to write. I fear this is a very cruel “joke” :-(

      • auscitizenmom says:

Well, I don’t hide my cell phone in my ass, and texting a note during the day it would have come out “Help, still alive.” And, that would have been about that. I will admit I have a little flip phone and it is difficult to text.

        • dws says:

In my experience, Siri couldn’t even get “Help still alive” right let alone that long winded phone in my ass message.

    • Stormy says:

I wondered about that last night… but I did learn how to use the ASCII codes : wink :

  11. Moishe Pipik says:

I can easily edit modify or add EXIF data. All his technical info about that is false.

    • Chip Bennett says:

Quite true, as I brought up during the Zimmerman trial, when questions arose about some photographs of a bloodied George Zimmerman.

Changing specific Exif data without modifying the image itself is trivial. Unless you actually modify the image itself, you won’t see, e.g. Photoshop show up in the Exif Data. So, Jim Stone is full of crap in that regard.

      • Chip Bennett says:

And just to prove the point, here’s the same image, with coordinates indicating that it was taken at the White House.

(Bonus points if you can tell me what I used to modify the Exif data.)

        • Moishe Pipik says:

This is one tool I use:

          http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/

BTW: I was an original member of the Adobe Photoshop team, and I have been a paid expert witness during court trials and depositions.

The claims on that website that this information can’t possibly be faked are simply incorrect. And he went to great lengths to defend it with mumbo jumbo.

          • Chip Bennett says:

According to Jim Stone, you and I both used “hacker tools” to modify Exif data.

I didn’t use a favorite tool; I actually just picked an arbitrary one that I found from Googling, just to demonstrate how easy it is to find and use a tool to edit Exif data.

          • radish says:

The tool of the liars and fakes IS mumbo jumbo. They figure if they throw out enough technical terms and enough vagary to make it seem the reader is the misunderstanding one, it’s easier to pull a fast one.

        • chiavarm says:

          Notepad

        • MouseTheLuckyDog says:

I would use dhex or some similar hex editor and get it right.

        • dws says:

Chip, the question isn’t whether the exif data can be changed without modifying the image. The question is if it always leaves a trace. In your case, the trace is “Exif Pilot”. So much for noise :P

          • Chip Bennett says:

Chip, the question isn’t whether the exif data can be changed without modifying the image. The question is if it always leaves a trace. In your case, the trace is “Exif Pilot”.

You found it! Nicely done. Curious what you used?

            So much for noise :P

The comment about “noise” was specifically related to using Notepad. The “noise” is real data; but it consists of non-ASCII characters being displayed in an ASCII-text editor. Strings of ASCII characters can be read, but non-ASCII characters aren’t legible, unless you use an editor capable of displaying non-ASCII characters.

            • nyetneetot says:

…”The question is if it always leaves a trace”…
No. it can be edited without leaving a trace.

              • Chip Bennett says:

Indeed. I didn’t exactly make any effort to hide/obscure my edits.

              • dws says:

Lol. I never said it couldn’t be edited without leaving a trace, but many comments on this article seemed to think that the question was about just editing exif, or that exif editing software didn’t leave a trace. My understanding of what was said in the article was that it takes higher level software to edit it without leaving a trace. In my opinion, the purported original photo already had conclusive evidence of tampering before Chip edited the exif. In the case of Chip, his left more than a trace, his left prints that led straight back to the actual software used to do it. I would think anyone could just manually edit the exif if they knew enough about what they were doing, but I could be wrong about that.

        • Paul Carey says:

          Neo or HexEdit?

    • dws says:

I don’t know much about exif data other than it is easy to change or delete. I think Jim Stone was saying that the evidence of the change is always there, not that it can’t be changed. That’s what he was saying about opening the image in a text editor. Once again, none of that may hold up to scrutiny as far as I know, but that’s my understanding of what he was saying.

  12. auscitizenmom says:

    Very curious.

  13. czarowniczy says:

So the meta data cannot be fudged/manipulated/in any way faked? Okay. While we’re at it, Diego isn’t downtown Manhattan. If the skulking evildoers in the slouchy black hats could somehow manage to sneak a 200-by-200 foot 6-stories tall plane (bigger than the B-52s that park there) onto an island that’s flat as Kansas, past the various military, government civilian, and civilian contractors who’d be potential leakers they’d still have to hide it and the passengers from the various platforms that spend a lot of time looking at Diego. Be rather hard passing it off as a KC-777 until you could get it to Earl Scheib for that discount paint job.
Next we have the question of who’d want to kidnap a plane full of Chinese nationals and, in the face of growing Chinese nationalism and (to use a Cold War phrase) ‘adventurism’, risk a confrontation with China when our country would have a hard time in a face-down with The Duchy of Grand Fenwick right now – Gen Ripper’s been retired for a longtime.
I also have a problem with the selfie taker managing to get his shot off Diego. I’m about two miles from the closest cell tower and I have zero reception. Diego’s way out in the middle of South Nowhere and the guys who run the show have comms control of almost everything that goes out. To have a base that has lots of spooky stuff going on and not have comms control makes no sense, especially were one to do something as ‘confrontational’ as steal another country’s plane loaded with other countries residents. You’re gonna pull off something as big as this and overlook a basic step in opsec?
I’d be more into questioning why, in the face of this disaster, it too so long to get the Navy’s ‘ping locator’ out of Perth and into the water – just in time for the black box batteries to die.

  14. Anne says:

This cell phone in body cavity of passenger sounds about as likely as the plane being found in Lake Erie. FYI, here is my conspiracy theory: Plane was shot down by US or Brits because it was flying too near Maldive islands. Prince William and Duchess were on vacation in Maldives on that date (March 8, 2014). Why, how, by whom plane got so off course I do not know. Everyone on board is dead and several governments are lying and covering up. Black box will never be recovered.

  15. mung says:

What bothers me is that if they can’t get something as simple as the last transmission to ATC right, why should we believe that they can make the calculations they claim to make that put the plane in the South?

  16. RJ says:

I can imagine an IBM employee realizing his flight has been highjacked and wondering what he/she needs to do. How one’s cell phone then gets placed within a rearward body cavity and those decisions the person has made prior to doing so seem odd, to say the least. While the plane is being taken over, this passenger asks to use the bathroom and is allowed to do so? Who else would be standing in that line for any reason? If you were part of the group who did the takeover, would you allow this to happen? If so, when and why? At what point would you, as the hijacker, demand all cell phones and other personal items? How would you verify such? Might we go to this guy’s girlfriend back home and ask her if he could do such an act within his body cavity?

Or…could this be a clue inserted to announce to others a fake story is being presented? I’ll go with the fake story…for now. I don’t think the passengers are alive, nor were they when things went astray. Who would want them alive if stealing the plane was the objective? If they are alive, what is to become of them and why would they be given a chance to live? Who would want witnesses? What values/purposes could they provide alive?

How much energy and monies have been spent and are going to be spent chasing a lead in the oceans and surrounding lands looking for this plane or parts of this plane? This is beyond a needle in a haystack, it’s at the point of “whoops, what’s this I stumbled into…after so many years of being undiscovered?”

Then again, I did not realize all these “other groups” where citizens gather to ponder and share one’s thoughts about certain events. I kinda like that…and that kinda worries me.

Just because one may be paranoid doesn’t mean someone is not following you…

  17. Edward Teach says:

Is this story true? I have no idea, butt pardon the pun.

A couple of things, first not only is Cell Phone coverage available to the public on Diego Garcia they advertise on how to save money using it on calls when you visit. Prolly because they have between 1000 and 2000 civilian contractors on the island at any given time.

    Link below.

Second hidden in his azz doesn’t mean up his sphincter.

He could have a large flabby azz and simply tucked it in the crack. A common trick used to smuggle cell phones into prisons, where one is searched. And they often are missed by professional searchers.

    Just google it yourself.

    FTA:

“…I have managed to hide my cellphone in my ass during the hijack”

Sure you did. And nobody noticed a thing while you dropped your drawers and performed this feat of anal elasticity? Pray, tell… how do you charge it? With a methane fueled power cell?

    • QuadGMoto says:

He easily could have turned it off first.

Still I don’t buy this photo, especially the claim that the EXIF data could not be faked. It is relatively easy to change that data. It’s awfully convenient for conspiracy theorists that the picture is black because the iPhone’s flash didn’t fire.

      • radish says:

He took a selfie of his anal cavity with a sphincter muscle and sent the text. The empty black photo without his face is a BIG CLUE, now that you mention it.

    • froggielegs says:

LOL The minute I read that line, I knew it was BS given the dimensions of an Iphone 5.

  19. Chip Bennett says:

    Other important questions to ask:

    1) How did he manage to bring up the camera app while blindfolded?
    2) I assume taking a photograph is easy enough to do, but how did he manage to send/share that photograph?
    3) Assuming that he sent/shared the photograph to his default sharing service, why/how did it get posted anonymously to a 4chan-type site? I would have expected such a photo to get posted to Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook by default.
    4) If the posted site wasn’t his default sharing service, how did he select an alternate site while blindfolded?
    5) If the posted site wasn’t his default sharing service, why would he choose such an obscure site to post his SOS, rather than a popular service (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook), where his plea would be far more likely to be seen?
    6) How did he type his message/caption while blindfolded?

    • radish says:

      6) Very difficult indeed on an iphone.

    • Brian Greise says:

Furthermore, if he was blindfolded, did he also have hand and foot restraints on. If so, how did he get his phone, if not, why didn’t he remove the blindfold. The answer to either question assumes that he was smart enough to hide a phone, remove said phone at the appropriate time as to not be seen, even though he was blindfolded and would not be aware of onlookers, and take and send a picture. Hand restraints assumes he has telepathic powers, no hand restraints assumes he is a complete and utter moron for not removing the blindfold first.

  20. Edward Teach says:

After careful review I am sure this is all a hoax. Could he have hid a cell phone in his but crack? Sure. Could he get connected to the outside world from Diego Garcia? Sure.

Butt, pun intended Within the file it shows that the picture was indeed modified, and it was made smaller. Likely to be able to post it to the site, which I will intentionally leave unnamed.

So what we are to believe is this educated man was held prisoner and managed to hide his phone and get a connection to the outside world while he was held captive. And he takes 19 minutes to resize a photo to post it on a BS web site rather than text his girlfriend, family or anybody he actually knew and would be on top of his contacts list. Someone who would be vested in actually believing him and sending help?

Nope doesn’t pass the simplest scrutiny is you think about it.

    • QuadGMoto says:

Within the file it shows that the picture was indeed modified, and it was made smaller.

Excellent point. I had noticed that 240×320 seemed awfully small. I suspected that it might have something to do with using the front facing camera rather than the primary camera on the back. So I just tested it on my iPhone 5. The standard size is 960×1280 for a selfie. Even turning off the lights in my office (to avoid light bleed) and going into my closet to take the picture didn’t change that size.

Based on that, I’m calling definite hoax.

      • Chip Bennett says:

According to the Exif data, the photo was taken with the back camera, rather than the front camera:

        iPhone 5 back camera 4.12mm f/2.4

It is possible that the photo was automatically resized when submitted to the sharing service, but I’m skeptical.

  23. Moishe Pipik says:

I’m really saddened that TCTH has turned on Israel, promoting crazy anti-Israel conspiracy theories. Blaming the “Joooooooooz” for everything is an African American/Liberal tactic.

    • Josh says:

      Moishe, what?

      • Chip Bennett says:

Follow the rabbit hole of other places this “story” is getting picked up. It quickly leads to anti-”Zionist” shill sites. That, and the video in the article about Israel owning the “sister” plane to MH370.

I don’t doubt the existence – even widespread – of false-flag operations. But I find that sites blaming teh jooooooooos for, well, anything to be a fever swamp worthy of avoidance. Since that fever swamp is latching on to this story – a story that has every red flag for being a hoax – I think CTH may have jumped the gun a bit here.

    • radish says:

Sunlight, Moishe! I’m glad Sun Dance discussed this at TCTH. It’s important to be objective and expose an angle through crowd sourcing. Otherwise, the El Al possibility will always hover. Seems to be the work of parties interested in blaming Israel and sparking hate towards them by China. They can’t do it alone, so they are attempting to increase the number of countries, particularly the heavy weights. They’ve succeeded in turning America against Israel. What’s next on the plate? Gobble up more countries, always first the heavyweights. Perhaps this was the plan. I keep asking myself, why Chinese passengers? China political weight doesn’t give a hootehanny about 150 of their citizens, though. Crowd control is one of their objectives. Funny how communist countries work.

  24. Sassy1 says:

IMO the text itself is a giveaway. Who in the world under such duress as he would be, writes full sentences, all grammatically correct, and further, gives his full name, a possible death sentence should the message be posted for the kidnappers to see? Should think he would be sending a far more cryptic message, with essential info only, something like “Hostage. Alive. Diego Garcia. P.W.”

    • radish says:

Good insight. And first most, something like “Help”. Clues to building or whereabouts if he knows on DG. “Basement” “Ground floor” “Windows” “No light” “Dark” “Musty” “Alone” (rather than separated from other passengers). The purveyors want you to believe his IBM expertise is valuable to the hijackers and therefore kept alive.

That’s pretty much what I believe, as well. It’s just some idiot posting the most outrageous thing he can think of, and then sitting back to see how many people take it seriously. And it gets him some “clicks” in the process.

      • nyetneetot says:

If it is real, everything that was discussed before will come into play. There will be a verifiable digital trail starting/ending with his connection to the internet to post the photo in the first place. Even if he was only able to connect to the kidnapper-guest-wifi there will be traceable remnants.

  26. kittenlittle says:

I wouldn’t be surprised if “Jim Stone” was actually Mohammed Hussein from Pakistan and that he is the instigator of this entire hoax.

With all the info available from the photo, is there a chance it can be actually linked to Philip Wood’s phone number?

    • radish says:

“Jim Stone” is actually that reptilian, Valerie Jarrett, known as Mme Mohammed Hussein, puppet master of Barack and Mooch. I wouldn’t be surprised if the First Grifters were involved, because nothing would pleese Barack more than to turn China against Israel, aiding and abetting the reptilian’s birth country of Iran. Mooch visiting China and fawning over them dressed in Communist Red is a cover. It’s bizarre that “Stone” is the chosen passenger.

  27. LetJusticePrevail" says:

    Here’s the construct:

This scammer wants gain “street cred” with his troll buddies on 4chan, so he plays on the “Diego Garcia” conspiracy theories to do it. He knows he can’t just come out and tell people the plane is in DG, so he figures out that meta data can do the trick. The entire story was constructed around the pic, so he HAS to put all kinds of info into the message to bolster its credibility. And that’s the tip off. There’s too much info related in that message. Stuff that no one would take the time to say, and that makes it unbelievable in the first place.

Why wouldn’t P Wood just call his wife and say “Honey, I’m alive. Call the FBI.”? I would. You would. Anybody would.

Why would he post it to 4chan, of all places? How ridiculous is that? He only did it so his “buddies” would know about it and would know to Google it to see how much attention it gets.

The perpetrator of this hoax is a pretty sick individual. Can you imagine what this does to the emotions of the families who had someone on that flight? It’s just cruel to do it. And frankly, I hope something is (legally) done to the guy who did it.

This isn’t worth discussing any further.

  28. LetJusticePrevail" says:

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a virus embedded in the original photo.

  29. Chip Bennett says:

@Sundance (comment nesting was getting a bit deep):

Who’s saying it’s legitimate ? Perhaps you and Moishe should go back and read the thread itself. I could have sworn I said I’m not vouching for it, merely explaining it. Then again, maybe I only thought I had……

Indeed, you put a caveat at the very beginning of the article:

HOWEVER, what I’m outlining here is the connection of them, and NOT the validation of them.

But statements such as the following tend to lend credence to the legitimacy of the photo:

That said, a recent EXPLOSIVE ASPECT is either a very sick mind at play who has a really good technical capacity to create a possibility, OR – the genuine, albeit frightening, event.

In point of fact: no special – much less “really good” – technical capacity is required to fake the Exif data in the photo. There are numerous, freely available Exif-editing tools available that will accomplish the task (as I demonstrated with my White House coords photo, above).

Only interesting if independently verifiable as original Exif data. Otherwise, the image was not “indeed” taken at the location indicated by those Exif data.

Again, I don’t question the potential false-flag angle; I just think that it is pointless, if not unwise, to use this photo as a connection to that potential. There’s no point in saying, “If the photo is legitimate, then…”, because there is simply no credible evidence that the photo is, in fact, legitimate.

Heck, the halon bottle that washed ashore in the Maldives is a better linkage to a potential false-flag operation involving Diego Garcia, since it at least implies that the plane might have crashed somewhere in the vicinity.

  30. Mike D says:

Sorry, I can’t figure out how to post a picture here for others to take a look at my Exif/GPS info and help me determine what I am missing, but I have taken a few pics with my Iphone today and used the GPS Lat/Long info from those pics to map via a couple of different mapping tools. The results have been the same with each try. The problem is that I am in Rochester, NY and the pic info is placing me in Kazakhstan, just east of Almaty. I have been very interested in 370 since day one, trying to follow as closely as I can to mainstreem explanations and conspiracy theories, and now I am wondering if divine intervention hasn’t taken over my phone/computer and trying to tell me where the plane is. My pic info is: Lattitude 43.2448283333333, LattitudeRef N / Longitude 77.64521666666667 Longitude Ref W. Any ideas about my info? thanks

The very sick mind is an Iranian muhajedeen born in Iran but lived here long enough to know 4chan, directed by ValJar. Never let a crises go unexploited if it can point back at the USA and Israel (two hated countries with one stone) and point away from the real terrorist nation.

  32. unitron says:

Valerie Jarrett probably doesn’t know the difference between 4chan and the quadraphonic audio systems of the mid ’70s.

I’d think the way to fake the meta-data that comes with the picture would be to take it from a genuine picture and replace the lat. and long. and times and stuff using a hex editor

Out of all of the passengers, many of whom are just as big in “tech” as this guy, it just happens to be an English speaking “white” guy whose “person on the outside” is the most visible and articulate (in Western media) of all of the people who had someone on board.

If you wanted to pick someone around whom to build a hoax, he might well be the easiest about whom to get info.

(and no, I do not believe his girlfriend/partner has any connection with this if it is a hoax, although I’d be interested to hear what she had to say about it)

I would be curious to see exactly what is at those co-ordinates, though.

  38. Aslan's Girl says:

I wish Israel WAS behind this hijacking, because they are the “good guys” and they’d have a good reason, plus they wouldn’t kill the passengers; BUT I don’t think the current Oval Office occupant would allow Israel to use Diego Garcia… unless he thought he’d benefit somehow (like when he “got” OBL it was because he needed something to brag about AND distract from Trump’s exposing the birth certificate).

It’s trivially easy to edit exif data, you do not have to be a wizard or even a competent programmer to do this. It’s just ordinary embedded data, which can be read and written with simple tools which already exist. How do ya think the camera put the data there in the first place?

And no real Dilbert writes like this

Being one who repeatedly is accused of believing in conspiracy theories, let me first clarify that I do not know who pulled off the WTC bombings or who was complicit in its coverup. I just know that those buildings – all three – blew up and it had to be some major sophisticated demolitions. I do not know who killed JFK but the final story presented does not make a lot of sense either although it is plausible, unlike 9/11.
As to this airplane, the odds suggest that it had a malfunction and took a dive into the ocean. But, a few things raise my eyebrow. One is the existence of the US military base. Add to this that I read a post in a similar discussion where the poster claimed that the Chinese as well have a base in the Indian Ocean within near vicinity. I have not verified this because overruling these points, I find it extremely difficult to believe that in the 21st century with the greatest threat being nuclear weapons and the fact such weapons can be launched off submarines, that we do not have radar systems that identify large missile shaped objects flying wherever.

  42. Edward Teach says:

“All right, good night.—-OR—-Good night Malaysian 370.”

The problem I have with this newest revelation is that ATC Radio transmissions are made in the clear and can be picked up by anybody with a receiver, and are often if not always recorded at many locations. With that said why is it now 3 weeks later we hear they got it wrong?
Why is it that nobody went back and listened to the recordings before now? One would think a group if not groups of people were pouring over the tapes in an attempt to gain any additional information no matter how trivial. From the faintest garble to a pattern in the static.

The longer this goes on the more it stinks.

  44. dustyryder says:

Michale McKay saw a plane on fire crashing off the southeastern coast of Vietnam from an oil platform..
Three separate witnesses saw a low flying commercial jet going over the Maldives.

Either story, taken at face value, would be considered a likely sighting of MH370. But together, that cannot be the case. One story has to be a lie, most likely McKay’s crash report.

    Unless there are two planes…

Perhaps the “body double” was put into place somewhere off the coast of Vietnam.
Perhaps there’s an effort to search anywhere but there.

As looney is it sounds, it’s a hell of a lot less looney than the snipe hunt going on in the South Indian Ocean.
