Behind Their Wire – Exposing The Obama Coordinated Astroturf Campaign Ongoing In Florida – Tallahassee Governors Office / Dream Defenders

Sheeple is an oft used word when people describe the manipulations exhibited the current Executive Branch and POTUS administration. The Marxist occupy crowds come readily to mind. However, the current astroturf around the George Zimmerman case is, well, astounding. Today, after our insider report, we will connect even more dots.

We have meticulously outlined how the Eric Holder Department of Justice was used last year to subvert the traditional law enforcement mechanisms in Sanford Florida. Specifically how the Civil Rights Division, led by recently confirmed for Labor Secretary, Tom Perez, used the Community Relations Service, to assist the civil rights law firm of Benjamin Crump and Daryl Parks.

The DOJ/CRS dispatched Atlanta based division head Thomas Battles to coordinate protests against the Sanford law enforcement community. Thomas Battles coordinated several groups to assist in the campaign. Local Organizing for America (OFA) leaders were paired with local NAACP leaders, and the Community Relations Service led, fully indoctrinated students called, “Dream Defenders” were used as unwitting foot soldiers. We outlined the Federal engagement, and several other sites have outlined the local Dream Defenders engagement. Fully connecting all the dots to show the ideological alignment. A coordinated Astroturf campaign top to bottom.

Here’s the latest report from THURSDAY inside the Marxist encampment:

The protesters at no point have done what they claim to be. They have not be respectful nor polite with the public. They have not in anyway done what the generation before them did during the Civil Rights era. They claim to be doing a “Sit In” protest yet they take shifts, sit on their butts near power sockets surfing the internet on the public wifi, they don’t express their views in any logical means and they only show “force” when the media is at hand.

They claim they want to fight the injustice of racism in American society yet they spew “facts” that no way support their beliefs. They claim that they are barred from voting, speaking in public, gaining an education, or be able to gain employment. Yet when the facts are thrown in their collective faces such as the fact that Barrack Obama was elected for a second term or that they are protesting this very minute and are not having police batons beating them and dogs and water hoses turned on them.

They continue to spout Marxism and demand that Capitalism is brought down. They believe that there needs to be radical change and that violence is the key. They are willing to violate and abandon the Constitution and the rights and liberty of the people. They continue to want to twist the law and throw it upon the trash heap of history.

They say that justice was not served yet justice was served as evidenced by the trial. They demanded that Rick Scott have George Zimmerman arrested and tried. He was and a jury of his peers found him not guilty. The protesters do not agree with the findings of the court because they don’t want to have the rule of law exercised. They want the rule of force to enforce their rules and morals. They want be not a nation of laws but a nation of men ruled through majority rule by decree.

The protesters themselves are a shabby bunch. They are lazy and ill mannered. Their numbers are around 15 to 20 and they “work” in shifts. The media for the most part will not air the truth. They will only do tight shots of them to make it appear that their numbers are larger then they are. The DOJ-CRS is still on scene also and giving them support as are the Democrat members of the Florida State Legislature. They have been allowed to sleep in the Capitol when the general public is not. After 5pm the building is closed to the public when the legislature is not in session.

The Governor has stated that he will not meet with them or will he meet their demands since he already did so by appointing a special prosecutor and having a panel review the stand your ground law.

Saturday it is reported that Al Sharpton will make an appearance. Not sure if it will happen. In the end, their numbers are falling, the appearance of this being astroturfed and not grass rooted in seeing the light, and lastly the media and statists are supporting them.

Also the FL Capitol Police have been placed on a Alpha/Bravo shift and this stunt is costing the Tax Payers an extra $35,000 to $40,000 a day due to overtime.

Rep. Alan B. Williams is the ring leader among the Florida State Legislature and is supporting them through materials and granting them allowance to stay in the Capitol. He also favor of stand your ground but now claims that he his against it and that he didn’t understand what he was voting on thus showing his ignorance, stupidity, and lack of self responsibility as law maker. (end report)

Now to understand how manipulated this is again I would refer you to our research around the Dream Defender march held in April of 2012. And also the research of others HERE and HERE.

gabriel pendas 2But expanding for greater intellectual absorption let us draw your attention to one man, Gabriel Pendas. A fidel Castro looking wannabe Marxist filling the very definition of a cross role activist in the Occupy Movement, and the Justice for Trayvon Martin stupidity. Pendas is currently coordinating the sheeple in Tallahassee.

From April 9th 2012, prior to the arrest of George Zimmerman, and on the date when Angela Corey was appointed by newly elected Florida Governor Rick Scott, the astroturf campaign led by Gabriel Pendas surfaced. Remember, this was being coordinated by Community Relations Service regional coordinator, Thomas Battles, on behalf of the Dept of Justice – Civil Rights Division (ie. Eric Holder instructs Tom Perez)

The Astroturf Organizer Gabriel Pendas appears at 1:46 in this NBC  video:

Fast forward to 2013 post-trial outrage.   Who pops back up on the Astroturf scene?  Yep, Pendas, only this time sporting the full-on Castro guise.

FLORIDA -  Just two hours after a jury in Sanford acquitted George Zimmerman on a charge of second degree murder for the killing of a teenager last year, a group of protesters against the verdict marched to the old Capitol building downtown.

Marching with arms linked and chanting “we who believe in freedom cannot rest,” members of the Dream Defenders, a nonviolent student group touting civil disobedience, spoke of race relations in America and stood unified with the family of Trayvon Martin, the 17-year-old fatally shot by George Zimmerman last year.   (link)

Gabriel Pendas

Video from 7/14/13 coordinated march via [Pendas appears around the 1:46 mark]

I think it’s just the beginning of what’s to come, of how we take a tragedy and turn it into something that benefits all of us,”  Pendas said.

As reported in the Miami Herald on 7/16/13:

[...]  During a speech at a NAACP convention in Orlando Tuesday, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder strongly criticized stand-your-ground laws. Apart from the Zimmerman case, Holder said “it’s time to question laws that senselessly expand the concept of self-defense and sow dangerous conflict in our neighborhoods.” The attorney general said the country must take a hard look at laws that contribute to “more violence than they prevent.”

At the Capitol, after about five hours, 20 pizzas and cases of water were brought in for the protesters. Organizer Gabriel Pendas, 29, of Miami, said more meals would be brought in for Wednesday and the rest of the week, if necessary.

“The governor has a choice to make whether or not he responds to us. Part of what has to happen here is that we have to make him respond,” Pendas said. “This has to grow and we’re all going to have to take some responsibility for making that grow.” [continue]

it is obvious that these marches are organized by companies because their signs are professionally made and have websites on the bottom.

  2. justfactsplz says:

I can just see how far we would get if we stormed the capital and demanded Scott fire Corey. We wouldn’t get any pizza, water, or a get of jail free card.

    • John Galt says:

“if we stormed the capital and demanded Scott fire Corey”

I propose inducing BGI to demand the ouster of Scott, Corey and Bondi. Let the three stooges reap what they have sown.

      • That might not be too hard, considering in their “blame game” they’ve already got the prosecutors in their sights. I bet they’ll play right into it. We should start a website alleging, and offering proof, that the State intentionally threw the case because they were all non-blacks – then let them run with it.

  3. froggielegs says:

This was posted on Twitter by the Dream defenders…

    • froggielegs says:

I just noticed at the bottom of that letter it says…

“We are a human rights organization, directed by Black & Brown youth who confront Inequality with nonviolent Direct Action and building of Collective power in our communities.” (capitalization of certain words is exactly how it is at bottom of letter)

“Black and Brown youth”? So where do those White and Asian “Dream Defenders” fit in? Or are they just using them to jack up the number of warm bodies? You know my son said to me a couple of years ago that there is going to be a race war some day. I’m beginning to think he is right. Ironic part about that is, his best friend he grew up with who is Black, has said the same thing.

      • Stormy says:

What are the brown youth doing protesting another brown person?…. such sheeple ( excellent photo, btw)… Do they not realize the blacks will turn on them just as fast as they did George?… and I would bet NONE of them are mentoring black youth…

        • froggielegs says:

Exactly Stormy That was my first thought. The Blacks will turn on them real quick once they are done using them for as warm bodies and big mouths. I’m sure none of them mentor anyone let alone black youth.

          • lovemygirl says:

I was laughing after the verdict when I decided to check the temperature over at the Leatherhead site. There was a black guy laying into the white race and some of the naive were saying “But I’m white and I support you, I’m on your side” and he kept reading them the riot act. It was hilarious.

            • froggielegs says:

That’s exactly how they will all react once they don’t get their way. If White apologist seriously think racist Blacks do not have the same feelings towards them as they do other Whites, they are in for a rude awakening some day.

      • Further, doesn’t George Zimmerman fit the description of “black and brown youth”? I mean, if Pendas is considered a “youth” then so must Zimmerman. AND, comparing apples to apples, Zimmerman looks more “brown” than Pendas does. These idiots are not “Rebels Without a Cause” they are “Wannabe Rebels Without a Clue” – they have no clue that they are being used and exploited for political gain. Are ANY of these “Dream Defenders” contributing members of society? Most of them don’t have enough sense to wipe their own behinds, yet, much less have a “Cause” they are willing to die for. Anything they “believe” is a result of brain-washing, being too ignorant to question what they are told as opposed to taking it at face value, and a result of zero real-life experience yet. THIS is our future, though. Scary prospect, indeed.
My own 21 year old daughter, who has been raised in a staunchly conservative environment and tends to lean towards the right on everything, has taken the “Zimmerman should have not gotten out of his vehicle” bait hook, line and sinker. I “trolled” her on FB and pointed out the fallacy of her opinion and educated her on the facts of the case. When asked why/where she formed this opinion and based upon what factual information, her answer was “from the news and my friends”. This is a 21 year old girl who was an AP Honor student, graduated from HS with a 4.3 GPA and is breezing through college. Intelligent, no doubt! Unfortunately, she’s also ignorant. Scary, indeed. Youth are too easily influenced and they ALL want something to get behind and “Rave Against the Machine” about. We need, as conservatives, to steer them in the direction of conservative causes – let’s work on getting the youth of America on the “right” side of causes instead of the left side of them. This politically correct garbage has gone on long enough and we’re about to reach the point of no return. Somehow we have to figure out how to reach, motivate and activate youth to causes that further liberty and causes that bring matters into the light of day instead of burying them because of pressure from the BGI, OFA, etc, etc. etc. And we need to figure out how to accomplish this keeping in mind that anyone over 30 is NOT to be trusted – we’re “old” and out of touch with reality. We don’t “understand” the youth of today nor the problems they face (as if – they have no idea about hardships!)
This entire manufactured racial crisis is sickening. The fact that the BGI and all the other leftist pandering special interest groups are continuing to support and encourage this insanity is disgraceful. They all sneer at our Justice System and would overthrow the rule of law if possible. What the idiots seem to forget is that, once we do that, it may not be THEIR hero calling the shots. Then what?

        • metrometeor says:

Even though I’m only the age of your daughter, I concur totally.

        • Irish Eyes says:

Young people always want to be countercultural, against the powers that be, but for some time now the left ARE the powers that be, so to be countercultural today they would have to be conservative. Some see that, but most are too busy shouting to stop and think, look around and realize “oh, but wait…”

  4. Inkraven says:

Justice is the process, not the outcome. I think a lot of people on the left have trouble with that when they don’t get their way. Just to recap:

Justice was served in FL vs. Zimmerman, exactly like justice was served in CA vs. Simpson.

  5. sangell says:

Pendas looks like a ‘white hispanic’ to me. A racial misfit like George Zimmerman who tries to over compensate for his ‘inauthentic’ skin color by posing as a member of a racially oppressed minority since taking a ‘person of color’ to a prom dance or mentoring black children has been found to be insufficient to protect any light skinned person from accusations of Klan involvement.

  6. PeruvianMom says:

These manipulators and extortionists are whipping these people into a frenzy which will only end in bitterness and disappointment. Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. understood the dynamic:

“The limitation of riots, moral questions aside, is that they cannot win and their participants know it. Hence, rioting is not revolutionary but reactionary because it invites defeat. It involves an emotional catharsis, but it must be followed by a sense of futility.
    Martin Luther King, Jr.

  7. Sharon says:

Doublethink is a phrase that comes up in the narratives and memoirs of those who managed to survive what the Soviet Union routinely did to its citizens.

In a casual sense, it’s simply the idea of have one thought track that thinks normal, surface thoughts that reflect reality, and then having a second track which is necessary in order to survive repeated confrontation with authority that functioned only to make you do and think what you didn’t want to do and think. Head-on conflict would not be survivable–so they developed another thought track.

George Orwell’s 1984 explained doublethink as

To know and to not know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which cancelled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them, to use logic against logic, to repudiate morality while laying claim to it, to believe that democracy is impossible and that the Party was the guardian of democracy.

To forget whatever it was necessary to forget, then to draw it back into memory again at the moment when it was needed, and then promptly to forget it again, and above all, to apply the same process to the process itself. (Orwell, page 35).

It is the most deceptive kind of doublethink that they are doing to themselves, freely doublethinking, not under duress. Not because their survival is at stake, but because they want to–because they’ve been persuaded that there is a payoff worth committing thought-suicide for. Really, really twisted and evil. They’ve created an alternate universe that has no off ramp.

  8. PeruvianMom says:

The irony and the hypocrisy is obvious to all but the most blinded.

“Liberalism, austere in political trifles, has learned ever more artfully to unite a constant protest against the government with a constant submission to it.”
    Alexander Herzen

  9. sangell says:

To be honest I don’t care about these Dream Defender losers. They are just puppets. The issue is they are organized and funded by the Parks and Crump law firm and the DoJ. MLK had his phone tapped by the DoJ. He didn’t get government funded official to cross the Edmund Pettis or whatever it was called bridge into Montgomery, Alabama. He did not have a well connected law firm able to make a TV network put a story on its new broadcasts every evening and pretend it was ‘news’ instead of a staged event. We’ve got a whole new ballgame on our hands. Reality itself is being staged by government operatives

    • Sharon says:

Exactly. This staging of reality announces the kind of life now being implemented for these Untied States of America. It’s top-town government in some really threatening way. The infrastructure of our institutions has been repurposed. It’s done.

These kids are tools just like DeeDee(s) was/were. The people running the tools are really dangerous and really skillful. And purposeful. They didn’t start working on this two weeks ago.

      • JimmyStrew says:

Untied States of America? very appropriate!

        • Sharon says:

I was about 8 years old when my Dad first pointed out to my brother and I what a difference if those two little letters were switched– the United States of America become the Untied States of America.

          He was right.

          • Judy says:

I did not count the # of times I had to reread that post to “see” what you said. Thanks for making me pay attention.

    • Judy says:

The Hunger Games series caught the interest of my granddaughters and I read them just to be able to communicate with them about what was so intriguing. Clearly shown throughout the series is in part what we are now living. I wondered about the author and where/how the “story” originated but what I found seemed shallow until the Sandy Hook event. It was after the shooting that I found she lived in Sandy Hook, CT.

  10. Baldy says:

We had protestors perhaps inspired by those cretins, here in Pittsburgh, too. I wonder if it is happening in other places too, but we just don’t know about it? A group of about 60 protesters chanted and sang their way into the hallway outside City Council’s chambers around 1 p.m. Wednesday after 150 crammed into the courtyard around noon.

    • JC says:

I think Tugboat better head to safe harbor, reserve a cot at the Moscow airport! It shouldn’t be hard to find a country where he could seek political asylum because this is a political persecution at this point

      • It has been a political persecution from the beginning. Sharpton in Sanford, Sharpton and Holder in New York, Sharpton and Holder photo-op after Corey’s probable cause indictment. The CRS in Sanford, Obama’s son, the FBI, etc. Nothing has changed. The same players – the same lies.

  11. eastern2western says:

crump is going back to his old play book again. protest, race and trial. Judging from the cnn interview, the martins are blaming the jury as a group of racist women. after this, Sharpton and Jackson will ask for an investigation of the jury members. here we go again with the crump playbook. the only way to stop this is defamation law suits against park, and his goons.

    • John Galt says:

BDLR orchestrated the all white jury by striking a black man from the jury.

Corey’s All White “Prosecution” (wink) Team Walked Zimmerman. #DoTheyThinkWe’reIgnorant

It doesn’t matter, though. Even the male alternate juror says that Zimmerman was not guilty and they got it right.

He looks to me more like “Serpico.” It pains me to think that  ; I though Al Pacino was a hunk in that movie.

  13. PatriotUSA says:

Dream Defenders, this commie maggots are nothing but leeches and ticks upon those who DO work and are responsible members of society. Great reporting and insider information.
I would remove these squatters and throw them all into a chain gang in the hot, Florida sunshine! Maybe they should all have to go pick cotton to boot. I would not waste the water from water cannons or hoses on these filthy vermin. It might be the closet thing to a bath they have had in quite some time. These sheeple and black sheep sully the name and great things that MLK said and accomplished.

  14. lovemygirl says:

I love the way they insist they will stay until they get their way. Yeah right, the Govenor is going to overturn a law that affects all the citizens so 20 dirtbags get their way.

It really is sad that paid actors are staging events to support a corrupt administration and the Media feeds into it. There has to be at least one Journalist who reads this article and says “Wait a minute, I think SD is on to something here”.

  15. Stormy says:

It seems to me $ybrina & Fruit are trying to support AC and help C Her A. I hope someone makes a video of $ &F from a year ago saying it was about race; followed by $ & F standing next to Parks during the trial saying it wasn’t about race; followed by clips from today saying it was race, again.

    • Stormy says:

      * and play it before every BGI they interview ;)

    • justfactsplz says:

Nasty Jack said during the trial it wasn’t about race. Last night she was on the local news channel saying it was about race. Two face liars the whole lot of them.

      • Stormy says:

That’s why I want someone to make a video of each BGI flip-flopping and then play their personalized video before each interview ;)

        • justfactsplz says:

That would be a real hoot. If we could just get one MSM to report the factrs and truth. You think there would be an aspiring journalist out to make a name for theirself somewhere. Reality is the media will never reconcile with the truth.

          • Stormy says:

Someone needs to make the videos and launch them into the Twitterverse ;)

            • justfactsplz says:

People need to see all of this corruption. I myself don’t do twitter or facebook.I had facebook for a very short while but a blogger found out who I was and where I lived and gave me a very hard time. It was degrading and cruel so I took the facebook down. Soon after that blogger disapeared.

If you can provide the clips, I will be happy to do it and anything else you want to add. It would be easier if someone could link me because I am working more than I usually do.

  16. cassidy says:

I am SOOO confused about how to talk about people of mixed race…now, we have “white Hispanics”…does that mean we can have “white blacks, black Hispanics, yellow Hispanics, yellow blacks, and indian Irish?” It is not so black and white, anymore. The good guys no longer wear white hats, either.

    • justfactsplz says:

It’s like Obama saying it’s not a red or blue America, it’s America. Unfortunately Obama has never known the real America.

    • JC says:

      Don’t forget “black Irish” LOL.

Blacks are the only “real” minority in this country they get most of the quotas and carve outs because the others don’t need orin many cases don’t want them. Asians are soft quotaed out of premier schools to provide slots for blacks who can’t hack it academically.

    • Sharon says:

For starters, don’t talk about their race–talk about their behavior. Their race is not the problem. Their behavior, their expectations and their world view are the problem.

  17. Stormy says:

    • justfactsplz says:

I saw that. I’ll bet Governor Scott is wondering what he got himself into listening to Pam Bondi right about now. He could make amends and start by firing Corey.

      • Stormy says:

This was at least a step in the right direction :)

        • justfactsplz says:

Yes it is. Scott is also a strong supporter of the second amendment. He wion’t give in to their demands to get rid of Stand Your Ground.

      • John Galt says:

Scott is an idiot. Appeasement never works. I hope that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton bring a million hoodie march to his doorstep.

      • He can fire her from her job as special prosecutor in the Zimmerman case, if that job still exists, but not from her job as a State’s Attorney in the 4th Judicial Circuit Court since it is an elected office.

        • ytz4mee says:

She ran unopposed. In retrospect, I can see why, although at the time I was angry. Given her irrational vindictiveness, would you really want to primary her? And if you lost …..

It is my understanding that the Governor can still discipline SA’s since the State Bar doesn’t? I may be wrong and have misunderstood (probably) – those with the insider legal baseball can provide clarification.

  18. JC says:

Regarding the sit in, why don’t they shut off the electric and air conditioning in the rooms they occupy, also shut off the wifi or password protect it. End of sit in.

    • If there was no wifi or charging stations, they would leave real quick. Also, once you leave, No Re-entry.

      • LetJusticePrevail" says:

That’s what the DD’s *want*… an opportunity to accuse the State of refusing to hear their pleas, or to claim that they were somehow abused and discriminated against. As much as I resent the way they are being *pampered*, I can understand perfectly what is being done. They are being “killed with kindness.”

Isn’t that better than giving them an opportunity to create yet another “soundbite” like the one they manufactured on the steps of the SPD station in April 2012?

Think back to the images of water cannons, police batons, and riot gear from the ’60’s. Those images will forever be a part of history, and actually created MORE support for the protesters. THAT was a mistake that should not be reproduced in Tallahassee, in the “here and now”.

  19. libby says:
So, who has paid the bail for this race hoax perpetrator?
this is the path I see ms jeantel going down (and I pray it doesnt occur this way)….after the duke lacrosse race hoax fell apart, didnt someone offer her a free scholarship also? is this what she did with her education? turn to a life of crime (see her extensive arrest record – it includes child abuse and lotsa domestic violence, but she isnt a bad lady, just misunderstood

    • John Galt says:

“So, who has paid the bail for this race hoax perpetrator?”

The best thing that could happen. This PBFH will soon be off the rails again.

  23. Arkindole says:

Pam Bondi’s 2014 re-election campaign kicked off a couple of days ago. I get a sense that playing nice nice with these “student protesters” is somehow related to that. I suspect that Pam and Ursula don’t want to make noise at this point.

    • Redrider says:

I love that you call AC Ursula that is what I call her as well, so fitting. I will try to make a little video :)

      • LetJusticePrevail" says:

Just a question here… has any serious local political opposition come forward to challenge the current administration in Sanford? Norton Bonaparte needs to go, along with a couple of the city commissioners. Perhaps the publicity surrounding the arrest of Bonaparte’s son, and the revelation of his prior stint as a city manager will provide the foothold needed to mount a serious campaign against him.

        • allhail2 says:

Sanford’s elections are coming up in 2014. Ironically, Mayor Triplett, Commissioner Mark McCarty (sp) from district 1 and Commissioner Velma Williams from District 2 are all up at the same time. These are the three that voted against Chief Lee. The word is: probable excellent candidate for Mayor, no idea on district 2 but rumor is that Williams’ health is not real good, and it seems half the city is signing up to run against McCarty. (He is the one that started the whole non sense with Lee.) As for me, I’ll be working hard against Bondi.

          • LetJusticePrevail" says:

Working against Bondi is important, but a viable candidate has to take the field against her. Needless to say, a candidate who will NOT acquiesce to the influence of the BGI. Equal concern should be made in regards to finding a replacement for Angela Corey in the 4th Judicial District, when HER time comes (if she can’t be ousted sooner). Wesley White seems anxious to contend for her spot, but what is known about him, and his politics, other than his cameo appearance in the Zimmerman case?

But, on the local level, it gives me great pleasure to know that Triplett, McCarty and Williams ALL come due for re-election at the same time. Hopefully, Sanford voters have taken notice of what they have been doing, and are prepared to do something about it. That still leaves Bonaparte, who was a key player in this case, and (I believe) a political ally of Frances Oliver. (Speaking of whom, has that TROLL made any mention of aspiring to the city commission?

It’s an old template – but they use it because it’s effective.

Just like the Anderson template was used to try and shake down mega-cash from the State of Florida for Traydemark’s “wrongful death”, the current “occupation” of the Florida State Capitol is the same template that the Marxists used to destroy the university system – starting with the Ivies. Their demands centered around admitting blacks under different standards than whites, because the high standards white competed to were “racist”, and started the whole destruction of real academic and scholarly work in favor of “gender studies”, “women’s studies”, “African-American studies” – “degree” paths that centered on the navel gazing examination of “feelings” instead of hard core fact and logic. Almost no one takes a logic course in the liberal arts anymore. It’s considered esoteric and fringe.

History (controlled by the Marxists) has reported these “occupations” of the Ivies as “peaceful” – or in today’s venacular, “mostly peaceful”. The truth of what really happened and the threats and intimidation is a very different reality.

Everything old is new again. The question is – will we, the majority – allow them to get away with it, once again? I have a phone call pending to Gov Scott’s office as soon as the hour is reasonable.

I graduated from college in 2000. I started as a biophysics major and due to family circumstances changed my major to English/Writing with a minor in physics (I already had enough physics and math courses to complete my minor at that point.)

When I changed my degree I was told that all the mathematics courses I’d taken, all the way through vector calculus, were NOT sufficient to meet the “logic” requirements of an English degree. I had to take Philosophy 101 in order to meet the English department’s “logic” requirements.

I’m not the least bit surprised that anyone with a Liberal Arts degree is incapable of rational thought.

  25. JAS says:

They can protest and march and talk to the Governor all they want and it still won’t lead to anything. The Justice department is playing the game. Now they confiscated the evidence, specifically the gun. The gun was probably not tracked past the transaction from the store to Zimmerman. Now they want to know if the gun ever traveled outside the State of Florida because that is all they have under the Hate Crimes Act. Interstate commerce is the foundation of the Hate Crimes Act and with out that there is no case.

I researched the gun and the Kel-Tec PF-9 that George used is manufactured on Cocoa, Florida. So, the probabilities are extremely high that the Gun never left the State. That means no case.

Oh, and Holder can’t shoot from the hip. He work as AGOTUS at the “pleasure” of the President. There is no way that he is pursuing this on his own – the order or approval came from the White House.

    • John Galt says:

“Now they want to know if the gun ever traveled outside the State of Florida”

I think Zimmerman probably shot Trayvon with a gun smuggled by Holder & ATF.

    • sangell says:

Why do they need physical possession of the gun? They have the bullet and casing that was fired from it, the serial number, the paperwork from the sale. That is George Zimmerman’s personal property. I know he won’t but I would demand it be returned to me at once unless they have evidence that gun was involved in a crime ( and not a putative crime they are trying to cobble together)

    • RockyMtnMama says:

While I realize that in principle, it sets a bad precedence that the DOJ is holding the gun, the reality is that George can go and buy another gun anytime he wants. So the inferences in the media that George can’t/doesn’t have a weapon are misleading.

      • allhail2 says:

Not understanding the issue of the gun leaving the state. It is not illegal to transport a firearm for personal use. Fl residents have reciprocity with most other states that have CC laws as well.

“Dream Defenders has been leading Martin protests since the onset and has been credited with agitating for George Zimmerman’s arrest. [<--read that again and then think Scott/Bondi/Corey]

Gabriel Pendas, Dream Defenders’ organizer, is also employed as “Lead Organizer” by the SEIU. Pendas has been organizing Dream Defenders’ marches for Martin.

Pendas, who openly identifies as a socialist, previously serves as president of the heavily Soros-backed United States Student Association.

Meanwhile, Dream Defenders’ political director is Ciara Taylor, who also serves as campaign coordinator for the ACLU. She previously was community outreach liaison at the Southern Poverty Law Center.

A Dream Defender founder is Phillip B. Agnew, who also serves as the group’s executive director. Agnew is also listed as a paid SEIU organizer. [Phillip B. Agnew has old ties to Ben Jealous and more recent Zimmerman-related ties to Jessie Jackson]

Nelini Stamp is a Dream Defenders director. In 2011, Stamp served as an organizer for the ACORN front group Working Families Party.

Stamp was interviewed as one of the earliest Occupy Wall Street organizers.
“We are actually trying to change the capitalist system we have today, because it’s not working for any of us,” Stamp said.

Stamp participated in the “Take Back the Dream” movement with Van Jones, the infamous former “green” jobs adviser to President Obama…"

  33. Great stuff. I’ve done a short post trying to summarize it — and adding a photo of the real Dream defenders of the 1960s, who actually marched with Dr. King, and who no one could call “shabby”:

Also, I’ve done a tweet which Instapundit (20K followers) and Charlie Sykes (12K followers) have already retweeted — please do everything you can to get this more retweets, so the tweet will rise up in the ranking for people searching for info on these “dreamers”:

Obama holding a lightly attended presser on TM case NOW!

  36. Bongo says:

Obama’s on all the cable tv channels right now talking out both sides of his mouth. He’s not helping the situation, IMO. He’s being his typical divisive and indecisive self.

  37. Bongo says:

In a roundabout manner, Obama is criticizing the Stand Your Ground Laws now in effect in 30 U.S. states. I’m sure he’d like to abolish them with a stroke of his mighty pen.

Now he’s telling a lot of “what-ifs”. What a dolt!

  38. Bongo says:

Obama had better warn the black community against rioting and looting tomorrow night in the wake of Al Sharpton’s 100+ cities “Day of Action” tomorrow. So far he really hasn’t. I think he’ll encourage race riots by his marshmellow approach.

    • alphawookie says:

He did do this in the speech.

      • Bongo says:

OK, admittedly, I missed the very first part of his speech. I didn’t hear any strong admonitions addressed specifically to the black community against rioting and looting. IMO, he should have said he was going to activate the federal law enforcement agencies to keep the lid on the protests tomorrow.

If he did, I stand corrected.

    • alphawookie says:

He said violent protests would dishonor TM.

  39. Bongo says:

I’ve posted enough about Obama in this thread. I’m looking forward to the inevitable new thread dedicated to this flowery speech.

I was only able to watch like the last 20 seconds of Obama’s speech, I’m going to watch the whole thing once I see it posted somewhere, but can anyone tell me if he said anything earth-shattering, like regarding the civil rights investigation? (hopefully that it’s canceled)?

    • alphawookie says:

Nothing that dramatic. Again no concrete plans just an empathy ladden speech. He did not use a teleprompter.

    • eastern2western says:

He will do nothing. man has already stated that we must respect the decision of the jury. In his recent speech, he just told the reporters that this is usually a local matter which the federal government can not get involve, but he punted the responsibility to eric holder, eric holder will say there is an open investigation going on. If the president had some dirt on Zimmerman, he would had show that right in front of the cameras. currently, the government has nothing. Unless the fed is really stupid, I can not imagine any lawyer is willing to hump a doll again.

  42. Unicron says:

If Trayvon had been white, but still built exactly the same way (same height) wearing the same things, and behaving the same way… carrying himself the same way… meandering around and appearing to be possibly casing houses… I do believe George would have kept track of him in the same way.

I also have no doubt that if white Trayvon had done the same physical assault on George, George would have shot him too.

There is a video on YouTube titled: Saying – Gabriel Pendas

“The only reason that we’re leaving is to respect the wishes of the family.”
“Governor Jeb Bush, Attorney General Charlie Crist, State Attorney Mark Ober, we are waiting. We are watching, but not for long.”
“The governor is the highest official in this state, he has ultimate responsibility for the actions of the people below him. We feel sure he can meet our demands and ensure that justice i…”
“There is not one student in this room that would not have stayed. We could not believe our government would do so little.”
“We are seeing no action from our government, no action. We want to make sure that in this age, in 2006, no one is above the law.”
“We’re all tired and exhausted. The floor was cold. The floor was hard.”

  44. Arkindole says:

Now, pull up your favorite chair, pour yourself a glass of your favorite, and ponder this. The entitlement party would love to get their feet in Scott’s house or just the state cabinet. The entitlement party has, for the past election cycle(s), been unable to mount any viable candidates that have the anatomy to do this. Scott currently has no viable challengers, nor does Bondi (currently unopposed).
Do you think Scott/Bondi would trade the votes of constitutional conservatives (i.e., informed voters; not to include Tampa Bay RINOs) for the votes of more numerous (think SEIU and their ilk), members of the entitlement party? Perhaps even to suppress the presentation of viable candidates/opposition to them in 2014?
    Think Gestalt figure ground here…

With Bondi in there and Scott for that matter we don’t need enemies. The facilitated this entire mess.

  45. Josh says:

So, in YouTube, I typed in “Gabriel Pendas” and a video by 1814dreadyhead came up. In it he speaks of the April 2012 march held for TM. He states “The organizers said they hope their actions will “catalyze” a movement encouraging other students who can’t attend to walk out of classes, stage sit-ins or strike wherever they are.”
I clicked on his name and was brought to a video regarding another unfortunate shooting.
13 Year Old Darius Simmons Gunned Down By 75 Year Old Neighbor
One of his quotes is “And the younger to get them involved in issues the better.”
One more thing … this guy appears to like to dress up in women’s wigs and clothing.

  46. Don P. says:

Mr. Governor your state is under attack sir. Your citizens are under attack. Our just laws are under attack by an out of control corrupt federal goverment sir and you say nothing? Yes America, our state government is leading by example. Just lay down and take it. It will be all over soon. I’m getting a sick feeling about this. The sound of silence in Tallahassee is deafening. If ever there was a time for a state to stand up against a tyrant on behalf of a citizen nay all citizens I can think of no better moment.

  47. MariaInNJ says:

Obama needs to be impeached, along with Eric Holder. He needs to fix the economy and not insert himself here. It’s wrong. It’s almost implying that the scheme team is correct, which it is not.

I read here all the time and just comment when something hits home. You guys rock. I hate main stream media – it’s deceptive. I like the list of questions for S$brynia. But no one will ask. I personally don’t see what the big deal is to get to the truth, but we will never get to that. So sad.

Well, there I was channel surfing again tonight and between 2 and 1/2 Men reruns and Animal Planet was HLN with Nancy Grace interviewing Sybrina and Tracy. With tears in her eyes (alligator tears of course) she mustered up the nerve to ask Sybrina about Trayvon’s buriel suit. Sybrina said she chose a white suit because it made him look “like an angel”. They she said Tracy picked the burial tie and it was blue. Blue. Crips (my word) Blue. Tracy is a former (?) member of The Crips gang. Fitting. Appropriate. Typical.

  51. Jeff B. says:

One thing I learned about the Scheme team, black solidarity and the race baiters is their ignorance. For every claim or theory these people make that is disproven by evidence they immediately spin some new theory or claim… Here are a few examples…..

    – It was claimed Trayvon was just trying to get home because he was scared but he never made it home because GZ stalked and hunted him down…. but when the evidence had proved that Trayvon had indeed made it home but decided to come back and attack GZ,.. the scheme team now spun that Trayvon didn’t go home because he didn’t want GZ to know where he lived because he now thought he was a “gay rapist” even though he was originally supposed to be a “cracka” which is a security guard according to Rachel Jental…

-When RJ said that Trayvon used the words “Cracka’ and “Nigga” the scheme team said its no big deal because that’s how youth talk today…. but just remember it was a huge deal when GZ stated “fln punks and assholes”.

-Sybrina claimed that Trayvon was a good kid and never used drugs. When the tox report revealed that TM had THC in his system the scheme said that everybody in america uses weed and it wasnt a high level…

-When it was discovered that TM had a secret file on his phone with 2 secret passwords that contained drug messages, gun buying messages and fighting videos the scheme team stated that anyone could got a hold of TM’s phone and used it to send those messages.

this crap goes on and on.. No matter what comes out or is revealed about TM or his family the scheme team and race baiters will play stupid and ignorant… This is a no win situation when Potus is on their side…

  52. Unicron says:

And here’s an even newer video that I *know* you’ll all get a kick out of. It’s called “Bernie hears the verdict” and it’s only 36 seconds long.
