AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – A school principal said no white children were allowed at an after-school tutoring program, and now some parents call it discrimination.
The principal at Mission Viejo Elementary in Aurora sent a letter telling parents the program is only for students of color. Parents CBS4 talked with said they were shocked to see, in this day and age, what they consider to be segregation.
“I was infuriated. I didn’t understand why they would include or exclude certain groups,” said parent Nicole Cox, who is white.
Cox’s 10-year-old daughter needs tutoring. After receiving the notice, other parents complained to the school’s principal, Andre Pearson.
“We have come so far in all of these years to show everybody that everyone is equal, that everyone should be treated equally … this is a form of bullying,” Cox said.
Before Cox could complain to the school, Pearson contacted her directly. His voicemail only seemed to reinforce the segregated tutoring idea.
“This is Andre Pearson. It’s focused for and designed for children of color, but certainly, if we have space for other kids who have needs, we can definitely meet those needs,” Pearson told Cox in the voicemail. (read more)

They are attempting to manage their CSAP scores, and seem to be doing a decent job of it, albeit using a constitutionally dubious tutoring method.

LOL, probably not. But in spite of the above average “kids of color” demographics at the school, they still manage to get an average school rating. So they are doing something that is effective.

I think anyone who uses the term “of color” when it’s no different than “colored” shouldn’t be taken seriously. They shouldn’t be given a job in education either. lol
This kind of thing has become epidemic in Colorado since the Gang of Four moved here and decided to change the state’s color from red to blue. Colorado used to be reliably conservative and I liked it that way. The Gang of Four (that’s what we call them) moved here in the last decade or so; four very wealthy leftists, Tim Gill, Rutt Bridges, Jared Polis and Pat Stryker, have put millions of dollars into Democrat Party coffers and spent millions in advertising for Democrat candidates and issues. Add to that efforts to bring “clean jobs”, i.e., high tech jobs, to Colorado by both parties. Many of those jobs are filled by out of state liberals who moved here. And now we see the results in doctored school scores and overt anti-white racism. There are other less visible changes too, including higher taxes, more regulations and more laws. Leftists are like locusts: they destroy everything they touch then they move on to destroy some place else.

This is a good thing . Now us whites can open our own ” whites only ” programs . We have to learn to stick together like other ethnic groups and fight for our own rights like they do .
If this guy was white there would be thousands of blacks bused in and Obama would demanding he be fired and sent to jail. Some country huh
