That’s True! Men and women are guaranteed a chance to succeed based not on their parents but on their own initiative and desire to work.

But that’s OK, because in the 220 years,(1789 – 2009) of this Constitutional Republic, we had only 43 job opportunities for the President/Vice President of this Constitutional Republic.

No one has ever been able to explain to me why they believe having a balanced budget amendment will cause the Congress to (1) submit a budget (2) that is balanced and (3) discipline themselves to function accordingly. The lack of reasoning is just silly.
Neither this Congress nor this POTUS show any interest in functioning under the Constitition or laws already on the books. The BBA is much ado about nothing. A distraction.
Giving habitual lawbreakers more laws to follow does not turn them into law-abiding citizens.
As long as they are able to print money, and the dollar is the world reserve currency, the Federal government will never limit themselves, simply because there is no enforcement. That isn’t true for states.
So who is it that keeps yapping about adding a Constitutional amendment about BBA?
Too often I hear otherwise normal people bleating about this as a good idea…and I do not get it.
Even in Monopoly, the bank has a limited supply of money.
Much ado about nothing.

As I popped onto my MS secondary homepage I noticed #1 in their scrolling news was a piece about how FactCheck parsed his speech. FactCheck pointed out that while his speech wasn’t ‘lies’ (in the Clintonian sense I guess) they were a far piece from the truth. When the Seattle-based MS folk begin to tell the truth about the POtuS you know he has to have lost some of his leftcoast shine. Bottom line is when you have to phrase the union’s state in half-truths you know there has to be problems in La-La Land.
This all doesn’t matter. The masses have spoken. The future of the nation be damned. We want FREE SH-T NOW!!
And SH-T is about all that will be left…and they can have that.
