Today the Treehouse sends out enthusiastic wishes for a fantastic birthday to one of our own admins, Patriot Dreamer. PD, as she’s known to her bestest of friends, is the wit and wisdom behind our daily Bumper Sticker posts. She’s a complete whiz with her Photobucket account, and she’s usually the first of the admins to catch on to any gaming reference, or for that matter most pop-culture or movie references. She also calls herself a fan of all things Dr. Who, 
and a Star Trek “geek”.
PD grew up in North Carolina, however, being an Army spouse, she’s moved 5 times in just the last eight years. Being quick of mind, fleet of foot, and possessing the ability to travel light, she has all the necessary qualities for an excellent Treeper admin.
Besides her admin duties here at the Tree, she’s also the mother of a Karate champion who just earned his coveted orange/green belt, and she recently guided his troop of Cub Scouts in snowshoes up the side of Mt. Rainier.
Did I also mention that she helps out Menage with the Treehouse still (if it weren’t for her adult attitude and, ahem, leadership, the shine would never make it out of Menagerie’s tasting phase), loves all things bacon, and….wait for it….has a cat too! That last part makes her especially cool in my book.

Well, the Washington state Rain Festival does run from January 1st thru December 31st, so the odds are pretty good that it’ll rain on my birthday.

Keep in mind that Doctor Who used to have really small special effects budgets, so a lot of their effects looked really campy! This latest version seems to have larger effects budgets, but they’ve kept some of the campiness.
